Trexxa awoke chipper and full of energy. At least someone had a good night's sleep.

They started up a nice bon-fire, cooked up all the meat they'd butchered and discussed their plans.

"I think I want a large cabin tucked away in the woods somewhere. I saw a few spots that looked perfect. Maybe overlooking a small, babbling brook or something." Maybe it had been her imagination, but she thought she had seen some salmon swimming in some of those brooks.

Trexxa agreed. She used a stick to show her the layout of the place she wanted. Cass made a few adjustments to it and they finally settled upon something they could both get behind.

"Either way, it has to have a bed." Cass laughed and Trexxa slapped her knee.

"Well, make that two beds. Or a very large one."

The two plucky adventurers grabbed their bags and set off back to the main city. It was not a short journey and Cass suddenly wondered if there were riding animals she could employ. She'd seen oxen and horses, but she didn't know if they were something she could use for herself or not.

They stopped several times to drink greedily of their ale. When it was empty, Trexxa suggested they make a detour to the closest stream to fill up their canteens.

"Isn't this great, Trexxa? Imagine building our own little house right here overlooking this stream."

As they were lounging by the stream, neither of them heard the silent predator stalk upon them. Not until it was too late and Trexxa was gone.
