WULF: Elementals MC

by Alexi Ferreira

Draco pulling out his forty-five, shot the man that was fighting the wolf. He fell back, not moving again. Wulf called to his wolves, moving in when they let go and moved back. He was in a rage; these damn bastards had brought the fighting too close to his woman. He stabbed the man in his neck, lifting him off the floor.

“What were you doing here?” His voice came out in a deep growl, he was moments from losing the grip he had on his temper. The bastard smiled at him in a condescending way.

“What were you up to?” His voice had lowered. Draco was standing to the side keeping an eye on the area.

“We are going to end your bitch!” he snickered. Wulf’s vision blurred into a red haze, he growled, losing any control he had had over his temper. His eyes radiated rage, such dark Amethyst that they looked black. The Keres knew he was dead. The ground started rumbling. When one of the Elementals changed you didn’t really see a change in their appearance but the energy that radiated out of them, and their animal instincts became more pronounced. Wulf was fully centred on protecting his woman. He drew back his hand and plunged a blade deep into the man’s chest, twisting. As soon as the Keres died Wulf dropped him. Immediately he started turning to dust. The ground was still rumbling and heaving at Wulf’s fury.

“Wulf, you need to calm down!” Draco was standing close to him. Wulf was breathing deeply, trying to calm his inner beast. Slowly he started to calm down.

“Keep me away from those fuckers Draco or I’m going to kill them. I don’t want them anywhere near Jas, you hear me?”

“I’m with you My Man. We will lock them up then try and get as much information out of them that we can and then dispose of them,” Draco stated. His voice was so low you could hear a rumble even after he had stopped talking.

“We’ve been breached!” Draco and Wulf stopped talking when they heard Celmund on their earpiece. The rest of Celmund’s communication was cut off. Wulf didn’t look back, he started running towards the compound he had to get to Jas, his heart pounded in his ears. If anyone touched her he would kill them slowly. He had believed she would be safe. They had the latest technology in maximum security and still they got in. He would never let her out of his sight again, she had to be safe.

He could hear Draco in his earpiece calling to all the others to get to the compound. He had tried calling Celmund a few times but his calls went unanswered.

  Chapter 20

Celmund and Jas were still in the computer room when they heard the alarm in the compound. Celmund changed the views of the cameras to inside the compound. When they looked at the one in the main area of the club, they could see Caelius surrounded by four attackers.

“We’ve been breached!” as he was speaking all the lights went off and then the emergency lights went on. “Fuck! They have cut the power. Jasmine stay here I’m going out to help Caelius until the others get here.” He threw his headphones on the desk and was out of there before she could even speak. She was scared, she had to try to find something to protect herself if need be. Looking around she only saw the computers and screens; nothing that she could use as a weapon. Since she had been with Wulf she had been feeling safe and had let her guard down. Looking in the camera she could see Caelius fighting the other four men when Celmund joined him. Because Celmund had changed the cameras she couldn’t see where Wulf or the others were. Hopefully they were close, the whole area around the compound was so vast that it might take them a while to get there, even with their extra speed.

Hearing the door open behind her she turned. One of the guys must have got back already, but as the door opened fully, Jas stood frozen in shock, never would she have thought that he would have found her here. “Hello … Miss me?”

Fred, her foster parent, stood in the doorway with a gun pointed at her. His eyes had a crazed look to them as he looked at her with a snarky smile on his face. “Didn’t think I would find you, did you? But you see I got myself some interesting friends that are also looking for you. Once they are finished with you, you will do everything I want,” he laughed, advancing towards her. She looked around but there was nowhere to run. He was standing between her and the door.

Fred jumped towards her, grabbing her arm just as she tried to go around him. She felt an agonizing pain in her elbow as he pulled her towards him. “Where do you think you’re going, bitch?” He slapped her with the hand that was holding the gun.

Instantly she felt, her lip split and blood started running down her chin. She tried to kick him, but he brought her back to his front and held her tight against him. So tight she heard a crack and pain from her ribs. She was sure he must have cracked a rib. He laughed, directing her in front of him towards the door. The pain in her face and her ribs was making her faint. If he didn’t let go she was sure that soon she would lose consciousness.

“Move!” He shouted in her ear as she stumbled. She was shaking with the pain and fear of being caught again by him. She was sure that if he managed to get her out of here she wouldn’t survive for long. She had to try to delay him. Every minute counted but he was trying to move her faster towards the entrance of the compound, but through the garage and not through the club area.

“Let her go!” Jas heard Wulf’s growled words before she saw him. His voice was so raspy she knew he was holding on tight to his rage. She noticed he wasn’t looking at her but at Fred behind her. Fred was now holding the gun to her head, digging it into her forehead.

“She’s coming with me!” While she heard the sneer in Fred’s voice, she could also feel the shake in the hand that was holding the gun. He wasn’t as unaffected as he was trying to portray.

Jas saw Draco and Bjarni flank Wulf. Fred might kill her but he wasn’t taking her out of there. “You touch my woman, you are dead!” Hearing Wulf’s words, she saw him lift one of his blades and throw. She had been fighting to stay conscious, but her head was swimming and her vision started to darken as she heard a scream and felt herself fall.

As Wulf let go of the blade he knew it would hit its mark and the fucker wouldn’t be able to shoot Jas. As he sprinted forward to take her away she suddenly dropped to the floor. “JAS!” He hadn’t even noticed that he had roared her name. Reaching her he found her unconscious. He hadn’t looked at her when she was being held. Now that he looked at her and saw her bruised face, his rage took over, he couldn’t hold it back any longer.

“Fuck! Brandr, Bion we need help in here, Wulf has lost his shit1” Bjarni had also sprinted forward to attack and secure the fucker that had grabbed Jas. Draco was trying to restrain Wulf from behind but he wouldn’t hold him for long. If the others didn’t get here soon to help he would destroy everything, already the ground was rolling and heaving.

“WULF! WULF! Listen to me. You need to calm down. You are going to hurt Jas and all of us. WULF!” Suddenly Brandr and Bion were beside Draco, holding Wulf down on the ground.

“Knock him out!” Brandr grunted as Wulf landed a punch to his nose. Draco brought his gun down against Wulf head; instantly he slumped forward.

“Bion go get something to keep him out for a while. He’s not going to be down for long. Brandr, take Jas with you to the infirmary. Stay with her until Bion can help her.” Looking around Draco noticed Bjarni standing over the guy who had attacked Jas. He was unconscious and looked like he was going to be out for a while.

“Bjarni take him to the cells with the others.” Bion was back just as Wulf started to wake, but they managed to inject him before he could fully awaken. Draco placed his shoulder under one of Wulf’s arms and Bion the other, and they carried him into infirmary to strap him down until they could get Jas up to wake him.

Reaching the Infirmary, they noticed that Jas was waking up. Brandr was helping her to sit up. After strapping Wulf down Bion walked over to check on her.

“Jasmine how are you feeling, Sweetheart?” Looking into her eyes he could see that she was still dizzy.

After checking on her he was pleased to notice that her injuries were minor.
You will be a little sore for the next two days, but the swelling on your face will start to go down soon. I checked your ribs; they are fine, just maybe a little bruised, that is a good thing. I would like to do a blood test just to make sure that everything is fine okay?” Bion had laid her down in one of the beds. Her head was turned and she was looking at Wulf in the other bed. She just nodded to let Bion know that she had heard him and agreed.

A few hours later Jas awoke to the sound of grunting. Bion was standing next to Wulf, holding him down, talking calmly to him, but it was as if he wasn’t even hearing him. Jas could see the veins in Wulf’s neck straining. The muscles in his arms were bulging.

“Wulf!” she called from her bed, but there was no reaction from him. She lifted herself from the bed feeling the pain under her breasts where Fred had held her. She moved towards Wulf, touching his cheek gently. “Wulf! Please come back to me!” She noticed his movements calming but he was still grunting.

“Wulf, I need you!” She kept on stroking his face while he calmed. After a while he lay still, the grunting had stopped but his eyes were still closed. “Why isn’t he waking up?” she asked Bion, worried that maybe he had been hurt while she was out and she didn’t know about it.

“He will wake up soon Sweetheart. He will be fine, you have calmed him.”

Jas crawled up onto the bed, snuggling up to him. She listened to his heart, calming herself until she fell asleep.

She woke up with Wulf kissing her lightly, she could feel the heat down her side where she was leaning against him. She never wanted to go through the moments where Fred had gotten hold of her and she had worried that he might have taken her away from Wulf. She would never survive without him. He was a part of her soul. “Stop thinking about it Angel, it’s over,” he grunted in her ear. She could feel him tensing next to her.

Opening her eyes, she looked into his, his eyes were shadowed and still a dark amethyst, nearly black. There was pain and rage in his eyes. She could feel his body vibrating with the after-effects of his rage. Raising her hand she stroked his face trying to calm him as she did before.

“I’m sorry that I didn’t protect you. It kills me to know he had his hands on you and that he hurt you.” Jas could feel the agitation coursing through his body increase as he spoke. She knew she had to try and calm him or they would have to knock him out again.

“Wulf, I’m okay, you’re here now. I love you.” Pulling his head down until their foreheads touched, she said, “You did save me, if it wasn’t for you he would have taken me away.”

Pulling back, Wulf stroked her lip that was split from the slap that Fred had given her and her cheek that was slightly bruised. “He will pay, no one hurts you. He will never touch you again. Bion said you just have slight bruising. Is anything hurting you?” She smiled, knowing that he was making sure that she was fine. His concern showed her how important she was to him. She knew that there might be danger in the future, but as long as Wulf was with her, she would be safe.

Yawning, she kissed his jaw, flinching when it stretched her split lip. “I’m good.”

She fell asleep again in his arms. Wulf finally felt himself starting to relax. They didn’t catch Merdor but he was sure they had made a dent in whatever he was involved in. In another few hours, he would take Jas back to their room, give her blood; then he would go and meet with the others. They needed to find out what the Keres MC knew about them. And how did they get all that Intel without them even suspecting? He also wanted to get his hands around the fucker who thought he could touch and take what was his. When he had heard that the compound was breached his blood had run cold. Never did he want to feel that again, the feeling of not getting to Jas on time. When he had seen that motherfucker with his hands on her, he kept his eyes away from her eyes knowing that if he had to see the fear in them, he would lose the tight reign he had on his rage, but when she cried out he couldn’t help himself. He couldn’t hold back the feeling of helplessness and rage that engulfed him anymore. He saw red and just let his beast out.

Kissing her hair lightly, he closed his eyes letting her fragrance relax him. He would be with his woman for now until she awoke, but then he would go and bring hell down on those who thought they could hurt what he held most precious.

  Chapter 21

The day after the attack Wulf had disappeared to interrogate the men that were still alive. Jas had felt his rage before he left. About an hour after Wulf had left, there had been a slight tremor. After the tremor Bjarni came to collect her, asking her to follow him to the cells. Entering, the first thing she saw was Draco and Cassius holding Wulf against the wall. Draco had his arm across Wulf’s throat holding his head back, his whole body straining while he held him against the wall. Cassius was holding onto his shoulder and arm. Draco was talking to Wulf, Jas couldn’t hear what he was saying but it did not look as if Wulf was listening. His eyes were trained with a deadly stare on the men inside the cell.

“Go calm him,” Bjarni said from besides her.

“Wulf … Come back to me.” She could feel his breathing calming, he turned his eyes towards her. As their eyes, connected Jas saw Wulf’s muscles start to relax. “That’s it, come back to me.” Cassius drew back slowly, allowing Jas to wiggle closer to Wulf and lay her head on his chest. His heart was racing but his breathing and his body were relaxing.

“You shouldn’t be here,” his voice came out rough, as if he hadn’t used it in days.

Draco loosened the hold he had on him, allowing him to place his arms around her. Wulf looked at Draco and nodded. Jas knew that by that nod Wulf was telling Draco that he was fine.

Wulf kept his gaze away from the fucker that was inside the cell. When they were interrogating him and he had bragged about how he had kept Jas in line. How he used to hit her and how Merdor was going to get her and make her pay, Wulf had lost his mind. The thought of anyone hurting her had him losing control. After the close call they had had the day before, his rage was too close to the surface for him to be able to calm himself. He drew her closer to him, calming himself with the feel of her safe in his arms.

They had learnt that Merdor was after certain women with special gifts. They weren’t able to find out why or which women but apparently Jas was one of them. One of the men they had interrogated had told them before they killed him that Vercin and Merdor already had two women with them. They would get a location for Merdor. They also mentioned that Merdor was getting information from someone with regard to the women and them, but no matter how much they tortured the men, they did not know who it was.

Turning Jas around, he placed his arm around her back and started to move towards the entrance to the cells, looking at Draco as he went, he growled, “Finish him!”

In the following days, the men were on edge. Wulf wouldn’t let Jas outside unless he was with her, and then for a very short time. Cameras and sensors were being installed throughout the property. The walls were being fortified, more wolves were brought in to roam the property. When Jas showed concern at that, the men laughed saying that she must not worry that Wulf would keep them in check. When she looked at him he had teased her.

“Don’t worry Angel, no Wolf would dare come close to you. The only Wolf to touch you is me. They will know who their Alpha is.” All the men had laughed. She had blushed, pulling a face at him. It was the first time she had seen him smile since the attack on the building.

“Celmund we need to up our security here, there will be rounds done to the perimeter. With Jas, here we can’t take a chance of anyone getting through again,” Draco was saying. All the men nodded, this was their home they had lived here for centuries, and they had made sure that it was a place that they could bring their mates to when they found them, that it would be the safest place for them. Not one of them would allow this place to be breached again. “If we are being watched I want to know by who!” Draco demanded in an angry voice.

“Celmund, I want you to do a background check on the Jezebels to see i
f there are any inconsistencies in their backgrounds or not.”

“Brandr, you need to get hold of our friends at the Bureau and find out if they know anything. For all we know the Feds might even be keeping an eye on us and Merdor got the Intel from agent Finn,” Wulf suggested. He had never liked working with the FBI but they helped each other. If he found out though that Jas might be in danger because of them, this arrangement would be over and heads would roll.

“No one goes out alone, I want everyone in pairs. If you see anything strange, don’t be heroes. Let us know and we will follow it up. We need to be smart about this. I don’t like the idea of these motherfuckers knowing about our movements.” Draco had been in a foul mood since the attack; they all were. The not knowing who was spying on them was stressing everyone.

“If there is nothing else, you are dismissed!” Draco growled, looking around the table. As everyone got up to leave, Wulf and Draco continued sitting.

“Katya contacted me; apparently they had found photos of the inside the compound. As I see it only one of the Jezebels could be involved; but she wouldn’t be the one taking photos of us when we go out. So, there must be someone else keeping an eye on us. I have asked Celmund to track messages and phone calls from all their phones. If anyone uses their phone we will know. I know this is driving you crazy not being able to know if Jas is safe. It’s driving me crazy too, but I need you to try and keep your cool.” Draco was looking directly at Wulf. “We could find the snitch soon or it could take a while, but we will find them. Until then we’ll do all we can to keep your woman safe.”

Since the attack Wulf knew he had been on high alert. Anything out of the ordinary was triggering his temper. He nearly attacked Caelius yesterday for bumping into Jas. This situation was driving him crazy, they had to find the rat. Getting up, he clapped Draco on his shoulder and nodded. “Let’s go have a drink.”
