He pulled my head back, still holding my hair, exposing the tender skin of my neck to his lips and teeth. I groaned at the feeling of his hot breath on me, the way his hand traveled down from my chin and felt its way over my body. His fingers teased the skin into spasms of delight, my back arching involuntarily.
Mason stopped kissing me for a moment, steam rising up as the water evaporated on his toned body, piercing blue eyes taking me in. One of his hands was still tugging on my hair, the other feeling the flat of my stomach. I glanced at him, panting hungrily for more, begging for more with my eyes. His fingers moved down beneath the water, spreading out over my hipbone. Suddenly he was inside of me, feeling my depths with his fingers.
I tugged at him, wanting to get closer to him. My leg wrapped around him, forcing his fingers deeper inside me, my lips moving to kiss his neck. I shivered as he hit just the right spot inside of me, stroking it calmly, teasing some more.
“Mason,” I cried. “Please...”
He grinned, the expression short lived as he bent his head down, burying his face between my ear and neck, his breath again giving me goose bumps. With a short, clipped movement, he brought my other leg up. I groaned as he took his fingers out of me, hands cupping my ass, kneading the skin between his strong, capable fingers.
“What, Harper?” He whispered, pushing me up against the side of the pool again, my back digging into the plastic. “Tell me what you want.”
“You,” I told him, a gasp escaping my lips as I felt his length probing me, looking for entrance.
He started slowly at first, letting my body adjust to his girth. But within seconds, he had slid all the way in, my body wrapping tightly around his. He thrust himself up inside me, hands still on my ass, controlling my movements. I trembled at the feeling, collapsing onto him, wrapping my arms around his body and listening to his ragged breathing against me.
When he shifted down, I could feel his length slide down inside of me, making me grab onto him tighter, wanting more. He laughed beneath me.
“Patience, Harper.”
His voice instantly calmed me as I obeyed, letting him take his time, pulling out of me before nearly instantly returning, penetrating me again, hitting up against every sensitive spot I had. He began with slow, calculated movements, his hips rolling as he moved inside of me, in and out. My hips responded to his, my breaths coming in short, soft gasps. He brought me up a little further, burying his face in my breasts as his body grinded up against mine. His mouth explored the space between my breasts, moving to the side and wrapping his lips around one of my nipples, tongue swirling about the tip and making me moan.
My senses heightened as he continued to pound into me, his movements fast and pleasurable now. I could feel him shudder beneath me, hands moving up to clutch at my back. He didn’t slow, his teeth biting gently into my breast, using the mound to muffle his own moan.
The tingly sensation started in my stomach and moved to cover my entire body. I looked up toward the sky, high moans coming from my mouth without any effort on my part. His steady rhythm made me tighten around his member, body aching for release. Suddenly I was there, gasping at the stars, my head filling with grey pleasure. I could feel his fingers dig into me as he released as well, spilling his warmth inside of my convulsing form.
When I came back down, my body felt like lead. He caught me, cradling my head and giving me another kiss. Picking me up, he carried me out of the pool and set me down on a lawn chair. I needed him close, tugging on his arm.
Obliging, he moved around and laid down next me, his hand stroking my belly and breasts, naked body cuddling against mine. I lost all track of time.
“Whoa,” was all I could say, my head spinning from the leftover pleasure. I trembled with the gravity of it all.
I felt him kiss the back of my neck, still stroking my skin gently. “That good, huh?”
“Wasn’t it for you?”
He laughed, giving my ass a light smack. “How can you even ask that?”
I grinned. “I feel like this is what it’s like at the Playboy mansion.” I rambled, talking nonsense in the midst of my ecstasy.
“It’s kind of similar.”
“What? You’ve been there?”
He shrugged. “This is much better. It’s getting kind of chilly, though.” He said, leaving the subject behind.
I hadn’t noticed how much I was shivering. The night was in full swing and the temperature was dropping.
“Can you walk yet?” Mason teased. I turned and stuck my tongue out at him. “You and that tongue,” he laughed, shaking his head. He took my hand, tugging me up.
The pool still looked pristine and perfect in the moonlight.
“I think there are some towels in the pool house,” he told me, leading me through the palm trees and other greenery that surrounded the pool. I noticed then that we were on a path that wasn’t noticeable from the initial vantage point of the pool. Leaves brushed up against my body as we walked toward the little building. “After you.” He said gallantly.
I giggled, walking in.
Stacks of towels and cleaning supplies sat in one corner of the room. A tiny couch and television sat in the other. The building felt like a greenhouse, nice and warm. Mason grabbed some towels and gave them to me, keeping a few for himself.
I dried myself quickly, running the fabric over my skin. Suddenly I stopped, staring at Mason. He had tied a towel around his waist, but was watching as I moved my towel along my legs and torso.
Slowly, I let the towel drop the floor, stepping closer to him. “What’s wrong?” I asked him, knowing full well that nothing was wrong.
“Nothing.” His lips formed the words, but he simply stared, waiting for me to make the next move.
I watched his face as I moved closer, undoing the towel at his waist, slipping my hand down and grabbing his hardening length. “I think someone is a little turned on,” I teased.
He smiled faintly, fingers trailing down my cheek before resting on my chin, pushing my head up to meet his lips. He twitched in my grasp, as I moved my hand up and down his length.
I broke away first, moving my mouth down his body, licking and sucking his skin, feeling his muscles tighten and contract beneath my mouth as my fingers played with him. That was when I went to my knees, grinning up at him before I brought my tongue to him, taking a taste.
“Harper...” Mason warned, and I could feel him grow even more in my fist.
I took him in my mouth, sucking gently. His fingers reached down to bury themselves in my wet hair as he struggled to maintain control. I swirled my tongue along his length, playing with his tip, stroking him with my hands.
Suddenly his grip on my hair tightened. He pulled me back up to him, pressing his lips against my mouth, a hand going to my ass and giving it a soft smack again. I grew bolder, pushing my tongue in between his lips and tasting his tongue.
“You and that tongue,” he repeated, laughing as he drew me close again, his member pressing up against my inner thigh and sending my senses tingling.
He backed me up a few steps, pushing me down on the little couch as his mouth traveled my body.
My dream. It was happening in real life. I grew wet with anticipation as his mouth played with my breasts—first one, then the other. I felt the back of his neck, enjoying feeling his muscles move and expand as his mouth worked on my body. He settled his own body between my legs, hands prying them open a little further.
“I want you to enjoy this.”
My eyes rolled up into the back of my head and I closed them, focusing on the way his tongue suddenly felt on me, taking a taste of my wetness, teasing my clit. My body writhed beneath him, half trying to get away, and half wanting more of the pleasure he was offering. His hands tightened on my thighs, holding them wide open, leaving me exposed to his will. His tongue teased my clit, fingers suddenly stroking my lips, teasing me even more. I brought my hands up to my mouth, biting into my knuckle to stop from screaming for him to take
me right then in there. I watched his shoulder muscles as they tightened, the tribal tattoo on his back glistening in the moonlight, folding and bending with his movements.
I felt one of his fingers enter me, still teasing me, refusing to go any deeper. My body moved of its own according, sliding down until I could feel his finger deep inside of me, making me groan. His eyes flicked up to meet mine, a smile playing on his lips as he continued licking me, another one of his fingers joining the other inside of me, pressing up deep on that sweet spot again, almost making me orgasm.
As if sensing my tension, he stopped, pulling his hand away and sending me into a frenzy.
He grabbed my hips, instantly filling me with his large girth, this time unhindered by the water. It slid in quickly, effortlessly. I felt him shudder against me, enjoying my tightness. He pulled all the way out, kissing my protesting lips, grabbing onto my thighs as he came back, pushing back into me.
“Oh, fuck,” Mason groaned, but my body was already convulsing, tightening and loosening around him, spurring him to release.
We both came at the same time. I could feel my wetness drenching him as the grey filled my vision again, like it never had before. He stayed inside of me, this time, collapsing on top of me, breathing hard.
We ended up falling asleep like that, perfectly, as one.
When I woke up, sunlight was already flooding through the tiny windows of the pool house. I looked around, hardly believing what had happened the night before. Mason had his arms wrapped around me; somehow, in the middle of the night, we had ended up side-by-side on the little couch.
I detangled myself from him, smiling slightly as I observed his sleeping figure. His hair was mussed against his forehead, his muscular body still spent and tired from the night before.
I wrapped a towel around myself and snuck out of the building, hoping that Avery’s dress was still where I had left it by the pool. I didn’t remember taking off my shoes; I must have thrown them somewhere.
“Oh, hi there,” a man’s voice greeted me as I stepped back into the pool area.
I almost screamed, clutching at the short towel that was the only thing covering me. I turned to find Hunter looking at me, laughing.
“Hello,” I managed. “Um...”
“Don’t worry,” He put a hand up in front of his eyes. “I won’t tell anyone.”
I turned on my heel and fled back to the pool house.
Damn it! I silently cursed at myself, approaching Mason. You idiot! You should have just waited!
“Mason,” I said, trying not to let the upset I felt coat the tone of my voice. “Wake up.”
He opened his eyes, rubbing them. “What’s up, beautiful?”
“Hunter saw me!” A sinking feeling grew in my stomach. “What if he tells someone?”
I wondered if this would ruin my job at the mansion. I at least still had the restaurant job, but after last night, I certainly didn’t want to fall back on that.
He grabbed my hand, kissing the inside of my palm, sending shivers down my spine. “Don’t worry about it. It’ll be alright.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes. I can’t wait to see you at the mixer tonight. Don’t forget about it,” he teased, tickling my stomach.
I giggled. His certainty had calmed me, a little. I realized I was looking forward to the mixer, especially since it would give me another chance to be with Mason.
Chapter Six
Mason
Natalie walked into my office just as I got off the phone with the caterer for the mixer. I leaned back in my chair. I had never felt so relaxed in my life. Harper Browning had certainly done a number on me, and yet I still had the urge to see her, to talk to her and get to know her better.
Hunter followed Natalie in, amusement in his eyes as he looked at me.
“Hey, Asher. You look a little tired. Busy night?” His mouth twisted up in an uncertain grin. The three of us were so close that sometimes friendship pressed on the boundaries of our working relationship.
I gave him a hard look in response. “Not at all.” I tried not to lose focus as images of last night filled my head.
I hadn’t meant to move so fast with Harper. But her looks, her movements—everything about her had turned me on so much that I couldn’t have helped myself even if I tried. I couldn’t get the image of her caramel-colored hair bending over me as she had sucked on me, or the way her hips and moved in time against mine. I shook myself out of the memories, giving Hunter a straight face.
Natalie crossed her arms, looking at Hunter and I.
“Does Harper know you are Asher?” Hunter asked me. “I mean, since we’re going to be working together and all, I just wasn’t sure...”
I interrupted him, not really caring to have him involved in my personal affairs at the moment. “You let me worry about that, Hunter. I’ll be the one to tell her.” I warned, and he nodded, putting up his hands in submission.
“What are you planning on doing about Avery?” Natalie chimed in. “She’s one of the top five and our bachelor isn’t exactly fond of her. How are you going to explain that one, Asher?”
I laughed, running a hand through my hair. “It was an executive decision, Natalie. We know what’s good for our bachelor and acted accordingly.”
Natalie didn’t look convinced. I stood up, still relaxed despite Natalie and Hunter’s protestations. I had Harper, after all, and I would make sure I saw more of her.
“Can I trust you two to get everything ready for tonight? I have some business to attend to.”
“Of course,” Natalie said, pursuing her lips a little. “But you have to tell her, Asher. It won’t end well if you don’t.”
I shrugged off her comment. I was so involved in being with Harper as Mason, a not-so-rich version of myself, that I didn’t want to think about her knowing me as Asher, the creeper behind the cameras, the person pulling all the strings. I really didn’t want her realizing the lengths I had gone to in order to get to know her.
“You’re excused.” They exchanged a glance, but I didn’t care. As soon as they walked out, I called Harper. She answered the phone cheerfully.
“I’m coming to pick you up for the day.” I told her.
“Oh? What if I have something else planned?” Harper asked, humor coating her voice.
“You don’t.” I replied. I heard her giggle, and smiled to myself.
“Okay. See you soon.”
Natalie was right; I did have to tell Harper about my true identity. The trick would be to find the right time to do so.

Chapter One
Harper
“Harper, wake up.” Avery bounced into my room, jumping on the foot of my bed.
I rubbed my eyes. The afternoon sunlight streamed through my window, its warmth only making me feel more tired.
I hadn’t realized how tired I had been after staying the night at the mansion with Mason. Although I had slept well, tangled in his arms, my entire body had felt drained when I had gotten home this morning.
Avery’s face was already made up and she looked ready to go somewhere. “So? How did it go?”
“What?” I grumbled, stretching. “How did what go?”
She laughed. “Very funny. The date with Mason! You didn’t come back last night!”
Memories flooded my mind. My dream had quite literally come true. Mason pulling off my clothes, Mason holding me close, Mason touching me with those strong, manly hands... a shiver ran through me just thinking about it.
Again Avery laughed, the pitch increasing as a mischievous glimmer filled her eyes. “That good, huh?”
I grinned, sitting up a little. Now that I was finally waking up, I felt more energetic thanks to my nap. “I don’t even know where to start.”
“Tell me everything. You have to. Sta
rt at the part about how Mason ended up here, at our apartment.”
Nodding, I pulled my knees to my chest and made room for her to sit as I launched into how Mason had saved me from Jake. When I started to tell her about the restaurant, I was sure I wasn’t doing it justice.
“Everyone knew him there,” I told her.
“How?”
I shook my head. “No idea. He always changes the subject when I ask him personal questions.”
Avery pursed her lips. “That’s somewhat suspicious, don’t you think?”
I shrugged. Yes, Mason was secretive. But I just figured he might have been downplaying how connected he may be to Asher so he wouldn’t intimidate me. For that, I felt grateful; I knew myself well enough to know that something like that might have freaked me out in the beginning. Now, at least, I was more comfortable and confident that I could handle it, if and when he decided to tell me just how connected he was.
“He works at the mansion, so he’s probably been to an expensive place like that restaurant tons of times. He always jokes that he gets ‘perks’ for his work. I guess membership does have its privileges.” I cocked my head and made a goofy face, trying to get her to lighten up.
Avery’s brow furrowed a little as she thought, but eventually she seemed to accept my answer. “What about bed?” She asked, perking up.
I leaned back on my pillows, laughing at the question. “Avery, if I told you everything, you wouldn’t believe me. We stayed at the mansion.”
Her mouth dropped. “You’re kidding!”
“No. We went swimming and...” I could feel my face flush a little. “We ended up staying in the pool house all night.”
“Oh my God, Harper! It sounds like you had quite the night!” Avery giggled, falling onto the bed and sprawling out on her stomach, propping her head up on her hands like a giddy schoolgirl. “That reminds me! Guess who got picked to be in the latest bachelor’s top five?”
