“Yes My Lord” Jon heard the troops inside the room repeat as one.

“Fantastic” Jon said with a smile. “Well let’s eat! It’s not every day we have a visit from the prince himself”.

“Are you sure?” King Jafe asked his spymaster.

“I am positive Your Majesty” the man replied. “Vulcan was killed by something far stronger than he, it could have been the earth mage”.

“I could care less about Vulcan” the King replied. “He has already done his job, there are three spots he found within Ket alone that can be used to summon demons, one of them will have a school placed on top of it, the other two will remain secret for now. I am talking about my son in law”.

“Yes your majesty” the spymaster replied. “He killed two people, an accomplished sword master and a mage within seconds after defeating her demon”.

“If he has this type of power, then why hasn’t he broke free?” the King wondered aloud.

“It was thought he did escape Your Majesty” the spymaster replied. “He was not seen in the palace for almost two days, then suddenly appeared with a slave. His story was that he went out into town to see if your governor has been mistreating your subjects”.

“Yes you already told me that, how long until he and my daughter reaches here?” the king asked.

“They should be here already; it took skill to separate myself enough to travel this far without the princess knowing” the spymaster replied.

“Well wont they have a surprise waiting on them” the King replied.

Jon could not believe how fast things went, he shouldn’t have listened to Drommul and returned but things were looking up. It had been over two weeks since Jon freed Gaea and the war was still going on. Jon had traveled back to the pit several times since he killed Goliath and found out he was beyond wanted by order of the council. When a demon died in the pit they were dead, something Jon did not know. The council of twelve was trying to keep it a secret that they had lost two members, but they did let it be known the insectoid Queen escaped. Drommul had mated with the Queen many times, much to Alura’s dismay which resulted in some truly powerful offspring that unfortunately died off after a fortnight. The Queen took Drommul and his band as allies, Drommul for all intents and purposes was the king of insectoids despite not being one himself and Mantia was fine with his extended absences. The Insectoids had pushed the Council’s army back to where they originally were due to the help of the powerful offspring that had Drommul’s quick healing ability and was almost as powerful as their father. Jon found it weird that the Queen birthed insectoids whether or not there was a male around but didn’t think too heavy on it, he had more important things to think on. He and Gwen had just gotten married and after a couple of drinks and dinner, he was expected to consummate the marriage. What Jon didn’t expect was that the Queen along with twenty or so nobles would be seated around the bed to witness the action take place.

“We might as well get it over with” Gwendolyn said she opened he legs waiting for him to enter. “Can you take away the pain I heard comes with your first time?”

Jon nodded as he numbed her nerves and entered her, their hearts beating as one.
