Sera knew she had to involve Rachel in at least one of the offerings with other pets or give her over for a while to another owner. Those were the customs; it was the owner’s sacrifice. If you didn’t want to share or offer your pet’s pleasure-pain to the Goddess, you didn’t bring her with you to the Moon Festival. The rules were as easy as that, but for the time being, Sera only smiled at those proposals and either changed the subject or found an excuse to go somewhere else. Her goal was to reach her family and make the offer inside her family’s circle. Her aunts, sisters, and cousins would help to protect Rachel and Aritz. All of them were sorceresses, and with all their power united, they were a force to be reckoned with.
A weight lifted off Sera’s shoulders as she saw Aritz with his witch not far away from her family’s table. He seemed to be in a healthy state. His muscled body was only covered by a short quilt as he knelt beside his owner in a perfect submissive pose. Only his clenched jaw betrayed that he wasn’t as submissive as he appeared to be. Sera was curious. What kind of hold did the witch have over him? Why didn’t he just try to escape? The witch seemed to be quite young and still not in her full power.
Taking a goblet from one of the waiters, Sera walked to the table where her whole family seemed to be waiting for her. She loved her family! Despite having only talked with two of her sisters yesterday night, her other sibling, her three aunts, and her seven cousins were here to support her. They had even taken a second table so that everybody could stay together. Sera was sure it probably hadn’t been easy for all of them to come. It was in fact the first time that the whole family would be here, at the festival, together.
The place was perfect. The tables they had chosen would give her the opportunity to keep an eye on Aritz and his witch without raising suspicions.
“Sera!”
“Lord Santini!” Sera forced herself to keep smiling as she turned to the old wizard. Shit! The geezer seemed to be heading in the same direction as she was.
“I see you’ve got yourself a new pet, Lady Sera.” The wizard threw a lecherous glance at Rachel’s beautiful breasts. “Can’t wait to exchange our pets tonight. Or perhaps we could play all together?”
Sera had to bite her tongue. Did that old fart really believe she would let him touch Rachel or herself? Her fingers closed tighter around the chain as she felt the pull. Damn, Rachel! Keep quiet! Rachel had taken at least one step backward.
“You’ve already given over your pet to someone else?” Sera asked. If she was lucky, she would get a good excuse and wouldn’t need to deny his offer directly. The old wizard could be a problem if he insisted.
“Oh, no. My pet is just here at my side.”
“Jeffer?” Sera pressed her lips together as she stared at the bony man standing beside Lord Santini. “Your servant?”
“Yes, of course! But he isn’t my servant anymore. He’s my pet now.”
“Since when? It was just a week ago that you sent your carriage to me, and Jeffer was there as a coachman.”
“Well, that was the other day. Today he’s my pet. Any problem with that?” The wizard raised his thick gray eyebrows.
Yes! Of course Sera had a problem with him and his servant trying to cheat so they could fuck other people’s pets. The old geezer had probably mishandled his pet so much that the poor thing couldn’t come to the festival. Everybody knew that the wizard liked to play hard with his pets, and that most of them either escaped or disappeared. Rumors were that his backyard was full of the buried skeletons of his pets.
“Why would I have a problem with that?” If she said otherwise, Lord Santini would cause a scene and that would raise attention over Rachel.
“We could exchange our pets right now and later have a foursome if—”
“Lord Santini!” A young sorcerer arrived at their side with a big grin and embraced Lord Santini effusively as if they were old friends.
“Lord Russell!” The old wizard didn’t seem too happy about the interruption.
Sera let out her breath.
“Excuse me, my lords, but my sister Rosaura is calling me.” Sera didn’t wait for an answer. She raised her hand to answer Rosaura’s greeting as she moved toward the table. Sera needed to arrange Rachel’s participation within the family’s circle before Lord Santini came back to claim Rachel for himself.
“Sera, baby!” Aunt Maggie hugged Sera. “I’m so glad you’ve arrived. Is everything all right?”
“Not so much. Is the circle ready?” Sera took the empty place beside her sister Kendra, giving only a short glance at Rachel as she pointed to the ground. “On your knees.”
If she could have, Sera would have gone directly to the circle, but she couldn’t raise too much attention. Everybody greeted her. Sera looked around the table. As always, all the females of her family sat at the long table, and their pets either knelt at their side or stood behind them. Her uncle Roberto winked at her. Sera smiled back at him. Both of them knew he would be punished later by her aunt for his audacity to raise his eyes, but he loved these kinds of excuses to get himself a good spanking.
“What has happened?” Aunt Maggie asked.
“Lord Santini stopped me on my way here. He insists on an exchange of pets.”
“Ewww! That disgusting old hag? I saw him earlier. His new pet is as disgusting as he is.” Her cousin Leora wrinkled her nose.
“He can forget it!” Cousin Stella exclaimed, outraged.
“The circle is prepared, and we’ve woven the protection spell around together to make it stronger.” Kendra bent toward Sera to embrace her.
“Open or closed?” Sera kissed Kendra’s cheeks.
“Closed, of course. Only those we allow and invite can enter our circle.”
Sera’s lips curved. This was her family! They couldn’t live together without causing havoc, but they were always there when she needed them.
“Thank you, Sis.”
Kendra waved her hand dismissively. “Knowing that Enya would bring her pet was incentive enough to come. Imagine the fun I’ll get from seeing her face when her pet gets to fuck yours!”
Sera glanced at her sister Enya. There she was with her warrior Hagan kneeling proudly at her side. All the females in her family preferred pets with strong characters. There was no thrill in making someone weak submit.
“Hagan will take part in the circle?” Sera asked, surprised. Everybody knew that he only got an erection with Enya, and that Enya was too possessive to share him.
“Yes! Imagine!” Kendra chuckled.
Enya raised an eyebrow. “I said that he would take part in the circle. I never mentioned that he would be fucking Sera’s pet.”
Kendra crossed her arms. “How can he be taking part in the circle if he’s not going to fuck anyone?”
“Oh, don’t worry. He’ll know how to make Sera’s pet scream in pleasure, but I’ll be the one to fuck him when his part of the offering is done. His cock is and will always be mine.”
Hagan’s shaft awoke at his mistress’s determined words.
“Hey! That’s cheating!” Kendra protested.
“You’re not going to explode again, are you?” their cousin Noreia asked, earning herself an annoyed glare from Enya. “I’d prefer if you didn’t blow up this cave with us inside.”
“Nothing is going to explode!” On Enya’s cheeks appeared two red spots.
“The first time you fucked with Hagan, the inn’s whole barn burned down,” Noreia reminded Enya.
“That… It…it was the first time! I didn’t know that the energy flowing between us would be so powerful,” Enya protested.
“You knew how powerful it was when Aunt Maggie’s carriage exploded,” Rosaura said.
“That was three months ago!” The red spots on Enya’s face grew.
“Well, last month Adara had to change all her windows because someone broke them into shreds screaming out her bliss.” Kendra pointed at their cousin Adara, who chuckled.
Suddenly the faces at the table turned se
rious, looking at Sera’s back. Sera stiffened. Something was happening.
“Don’t turn around, Sera,” Aunt Maggie said. “Lord Santini is coming.”
“We need to get Rachel into the circle! I won’t share Rachel with him, and he wants a foursome with me too.”
The females at the table shuddered while their male pets frowned and tensed. Everybody knew that their submissiveness ended where their need to protect their mistresses began.
“We’ve taken care of everything, Sera baby.” Aunt Maggie squeezed Sera’s hand before she turned to the women at the table and a cold mask covered her face. “Enya, Kendra, Noreia, take your pets to the circle. Rosaura, go and win time with Lord Santini. Sera, to the circle! The rest of you keep speaking and laughing. Your pets can go into the circle later. We don’t want to raise suspicions. People don’t need to know that we’re protecting one of our pets.”
Aunt Maggie’s change didn’t take Sera by surprise. All the women in her family were dominant. That was the reason they couldn’t spend too much time together. Right now, her aunt’s dominance was welcome. With Aunt Maggie taking care of everything, Sera could take care of Rachel.
Sera unhooked the chain from Rachel’s collar as they stood before the huge circle her family had drawn on the ground and surrounded with white candles. Sera wished she had more time to calm Rachel before the girl entered the circle.
“The circle is protected by a spell. As long as you’re inside, nobody from the outside can reach or hurt you,” Sera explained.
Rachel nodded, but a fine sheet of perspiration covered her skin.
“The candles around the circle mean that this is a closed circle and only those who are invited can enter. We’ll try to keep the circle strictly for our family members and their pets. If someone else enters, keep always with the family pets, but don’t forget that you’re a pet too. Don’t resist, and Rachel…” Sera waited for Rachel to look at her. “Enjoy. If your pleasure pleases the Goddess, she’ll be at our side tonight.”
Sera raised the veil enough to kiss Rachel. Their lips pressed gently together as Sera’s tongue tenderly explored the sweetness of Rachel’s mouth. I love you! She wished she had told Rachel before they came here.
“Now go inside the circle and dance.” Sera swallowed at the roughness of her voice.
Rachel hesitated.
“Go!”
The moment Rachel entered the circle, Sera let out a deep breath. For the time being Rachel would be safe.
“Lady Sera?” Hagan and his brother Jari appeared at Sera’s side.
“Yes, Hagan?” Sera asked as they followed how Rachel began to sensually rotate her hips in the center of the circle.
“If you must let Sir Santini’s pet go inside the circle to keep things calm, don’t doubt. We’ll keep him away from your girl.”
“Thank you, Hagan.” Sera looked up at him. She still couldn’t understand how her cute little sister had been able to turn the fierce, giant warrior into her pet, but so had Rosaura with his brother Jari.
“His pain will be our pleasure,” Jari said with a grim smile.
Sera nodded and turned again to the circle. Rachel’s blue eyes were fixed on Sera, reminding her that Rachel was hers—hers to love and hers to protect.
Chapter Fifteen
Taking a sip from her goblet, Sera watched how Rachel rocked her hips, enjoying her position over Hagan’s face while Jari sucked her nipples. As Enya had promised, Hagan didn’t fuck Rachel, but hell if he didn’t make sure that Rachel found her pleasure, and his brother Jari was helping him.
Seeing the red patches of arousal on Rachel’s cheeks and breasts made Sera want to push everybody away from Rachel and fuck her then and there to remind Rachel who her owner was. Rachel’s owner? Sera gulped down the rest of the wine. She detested remembering that she wasn’t really Rachel’s owner. Rachel was a princess, and as such, she had her own duties to fulfill. Sera touched the little bottle hidden in her skirt. At the end of the night, she would give Rachel the potion to reverse the love spell. Sera hadn’t spoken with Rachel over it, but both of them knew that Rachel had to go back to her father’s palace, and her return would be much easier if they broke the bond the love potion had built. Sera didn’t want to think about how much it would hurt to lose Rachel.
By now, almost all the family pets were in the circle. Some had already come once; others seemed to prefer a slower pace. Usually the male pets were the ones who tried to go slower, knowing they’d have to endure the whole night. Right now, the whole offering was about pleasure. It wasn’t until later, when some of their mistresses stepped in, that the offering of pain would begin.
Sera studied the spectators surrounding the circle, encouraging the pets to do this or that. Was the traitor among them? Would he try something when Rachel was in the circle? The protection spells were all in place. To break them would take a lot of power and also time; and even so, all of Sera’s family was here to protect Rachel. Nothing would happen to her.
Cold gray eyes stared at Sera, full of hatred, from the other side of the circle. Lord Santini. Sera’s skin prickled under his venomous glare. He was obviously angry that he couldn’t put his hands on Rachel, but all that hatred directed at Sera was only because he couldn’t fuck her pet? He was too old to be the traitor, wasn’t he?
Sera looked inadvertently around to search for Aritz. He was still kneeling at the same table with his witch. They were about thirty feet away. Sera took a closer look at the witch sitting besides Aritz. The witch wasn’t as young as Sera had thought at first, but a witch in her twenties was still considered young, and this one seemed also to feel quite awkward sitting at the table with her fellow witches.
Sera narrowed her eyes to concentrate her sight on the witch’s aura. Blues were mixed with reds, revealing that the witch probably had more power than she appeared to have but that she still didn’t have control over those powers yet. The yellow streak in her aura made Sera consider that there were perhaps other ways to get Aritz back without risking the anger of the witch. The woman was young and seemingly easy to irritate. It wouldn’t be difficult to make her lose her control, but at the same time the yellow in her aura gave away that she was able to listen when others spoke and to think rationally when needed.
Pressing her cold palm against her forehead to stop a sharp headache, Sera winced. Reading auras always gave her pain. There was only one thing left to do, and it was to speak personally with the witch. Both Aritz and the witch needed to know about the danger they were in, and Sera preferred to do it while Rachel was in the circle.
“Is it all right if I go away for a little bit?” Sera looked at her sisters.
“Don’t worry. I’ll go into the circle to take control of them,” Enya said with a wink. “I’ll keep Rachel distracted for a while.”
“Thanks, Sis. It won’t be for long.”
“Oh, don’t hurry. I usually prefer males, but I love your girl’s curves and her face when she wants to come but needs a little bit more.” Enya chuckled.
“Goddess! Now I understand why they call it sacrifice and not just offering. I only want to go into the circle to fuck her myself!”
“You’ve fallen hard for this girl, haven’t you?” Rosaura asked. “I’ve never seen you like this with another pet.”
Sera took a deep breath. “Yes.” There was no sense in denying her feelings before her sisters.
Rosaura embraced her. “Well, now you’ll be able to understand why we don’t like to come to the festival.”
Yes, she absolutely understood her sisters.
“Go and do whatever you need to do. We’ll take care of your girl,” Enya said.
Sera stood up and went straight to Aritz and his witch while she thanked the Goddess for the family she had.
Rachel took a goblet with water as she sat down beside the witch. “Is this pet yours?”
Aritz back straightened as soon as he heard Sera’s voice. Sera sighed as she realized that he kept his eyes
on the ground. His sister could learn a few things from him.
The witch stared from Sera to Aritz as if she wasn’t sure what to answer. “Yes, he’s mine.”
“He’s handsome.” Sera put a finger under his chin to make him look up into her face.
There was recognition in Aritz’s eyes. He knew her.
“We need to talk. You’re in danger.”
“Who are you?” The witch glared angrily at her.
“I’m his sister’s mistress. And no, I’m not interested in him,” Sera said, offering the witch her hand.
The witch glanced from Sera’s hand to Aritz. “He’s in danger?”
“Both of you are. There’s a conspiracy against the king, and someone is planning to kill Aritz and Rachel tonight, and afterward, they’ll poison the king.”
“What?” Aritz jumped to his feet with clenched fists. “Who’s the traitor?”
“I don’t know. Sir Leylan was involved, but part of his memory had been erased.”
“I’ll kill him!” Aritz growled.
“Forget Sir Leylan. A friend of mine is taking care of him. Right now we need to find a way to get you and Rachel safely out of here.”
“That’s not a problem. Miriam can get us out of here.” Aritz looked at the witch.
“He’s right. I can get all of you out of here, but only one at a time,” the witch warned.
“How?” Sera asked.
“Dimension jumping.” The witch shrugged.
Sera had heard about such abilities but had never known someone who was actually able to confirm they really existed. “How long does it take?”
“A few minutes for each one, but I’ll need to recover if I have to travel more than two times,” the witch said.
Sera nodded. “I can stay with my family. Maybe the traitor will expose himself after seeing how you disappear with Aritz. We should go to—”
