Tina stands up and snuggles up to him from the other side. “You can do so much better, G.” She says.
“Oh, I know.” He straightens when something captures his attention. “Especially when there are men as fine as that.” I follow his gaze and he’s looking at Sebastian’s table. I notice he’s staring at us and that he’s with Jax and two other guys. “Damn, I would so be down to rebound with any of them.”
“Who are the other guys?” I ask Gary. He knows all the scoop.
“That’s Nathan sitting next to Jax. He’s a mogul’s son and the other guy is Francisco. There are rumors that… never mind.”
“Tell me!” I pinch him.
“Ow! Okay. Don’t spread it cause they’re only rumors. But apparently, his dad is in the drug business.”
“No way.” Tina says.
“That’s what Chance told me.” Gary shrugs his shoulders. “Oh god, Chance! How dare he cheat on me?” He tucks his head in my neck and I hold him close.
“I’m sorry babe. Really am. We can meet this weekend and egg his house?” I say the words as I watch as Sebastian’s expression morph into anger. He looks around at his friends then at me. His hand holds the side of the picnic table tightly.
“Would you actually?” He asks.
I see Francisco leave and Sebastian watches him until he’s out of sight.
“For you, anything.” I ignore Sebastian and lean down to kiss Gary’s head.
“Oh my god, look who’s coming. I might get a heart attack looking at him. I can’t deal with his level of hotness. Do you think he’d go for me?”
“That’s Sebastian Carter, idiot.” Tina whispers. I look up and Sebastian is walking towards us.
Oh god.
Our eyes lock and nerves engulf my body. In the background, I hear Tina and Gary arguing as usual. But I’m concentrating on the frown marring Sebastian’s face as he looks between Gary and me.
“Shh, Tina he’s going to hear us. If I have any chance with him, I need to play hard to get and act like I don’t know him.” Gary whispers.
“He’s straight, you idiot!” Tina responds with a laugh.
“Yeah well, do you know how many straight men I’ve-”
“Shh!” Tina whispers, slapping Gary on the back of his head, right before Sebastian stands before us.
“Sitting a little close, don’t you think?” Sebastian asks Gary.
Gary raises his eyebrows at his question and looks between Sebastian and me.
“Uh, hey Sebastian.” I say meekly, not knowing how to react to this situation.
“Bella.” He says, using a nickname no one ever has. I kind of like it. It sounds a lot better than ‘Isa’.
He finally pulls his gaze from Gary and looks at me and I mean really looks at me, from my messy bun to my loose sleeveless shirt to the shorts I’m wearing. “Have lunch with me?” He asks, but it comes out more like a demand.
I want to, but I should be there for Gary. “Actually, I’m having lunch with my-”
“Oh, don’t worry about us, we were just going back to our apartment!” Gary says before standing up and dragging Tina with him.
“What? But-” I interrupt.
“It’s fine, sweetie!” Gary says before leaning down to whisper in my ear. “I’d absolutely ditch you if this god wanted me to lunch with him. I’m fine, text me later.” He kisses me on the cheek and rushes away with Tina.
Sebastian kinks his neck and takes a deep breath before joining me on the table.
“Hey.” I say again.
“Bella.” He releases a deep breath and rearranges me so I’m straddling the bench like he is. “You look delicious.” His quickened breaths are testimony to my effect on him and I thrive in response. “Fuck… the way you look at me with your round blue eyes, so expressive and full of want.” Unable to respond, I look down, but he lifts my face to look at him. “Let me see your eyes, Isabel.” He takes his time looking at me and stops at my cleavage. “Were those there last time?”
I’ve grown to a size D since my younger years, much to my mother’s disgust. I was once insecure about my breasts due to her humiliating comments, but now, I’m proud of my body. I’ve even stopped trying to lose the weight she said I so desperately needed to lose.
“Well, were you hiding those from me?” I study his bare shoulders and arms. He’s in sports gear, donning a loose grey tank which shows off his huge arms. My hand wouldn’t wrap halfway around his bicep.
He takes a quick look at his table then looks back at me. His hand lifts and lands on my left breast and I quickly push it away with a laugh.
“Sebastian!” I chastise and look around to see if anyone saw. I hear his chuckle and look back into his dreamy eyes.
“It’s truly unfair that you were hiding your best assets from me. Then again, I don’t know what’s sexier. Those breasts, that ass, or your lips. Fucking hell, your lips.” He stares at them, before lowering his gaze to my breasts, a smirk on his face as he blatantly checks me out.
“How did I not see them yesterday? They’re … fuck!”
“That, fortunately, is one thing my robe does hide.” I say as he continues his ogling.
He looks back at his table.
I lean back on my hands, push my chest out, and stare at him. “Why do you keep looking over there, when I’m over here?” I tease.
He looks and takes me in. “Look at you.” He whispers in awe before pulling me towards him so that my thighs are over his. And a second later, he’s kissing me.
His tongue plays with mine and a moan slips out from me. It’s crazy. One touch and my body enflames, my desire awakens and I shake in need, need for him.
We’re kissing passionately. There was no gradual descend into this powerful kiss. It’s desperate, almost as if my need for him is strongly reciprocated. I gasp when he bites my bottom lip a little too hard and scoot closer to him so that I’m practically straddling him. Someone clears their throat beside us, but we don’t stop.
“Sebastian, stop this instant!” Someone shouts.
I squeal in surprise and fall off the bench on my ass. Why do I always fall on my ass in front of Sebastian? I look up and see he’s breathing as heavily as I am. We’re looking at each other, ready to pounce, ready to continue what we began. His predatory look is just fueling my desire.
He stands up and leans down to take my face in his hands. “I thought I told you not to hurt that ass I love so much.” He says before kissing me.
“Stop right now!” The person repeats, and I finally break away from the sensual spell. We’re in public and there’s a group of people just watching us. How did this happen? How do I seem to forget everything when Sebastian touches me?
I look at the intruder and see it’s a faculty member. Oh shit…
Sebastian merely looks up and laughs while pulling me off the floor. He smiles at the faculty member, not giving a crap about everyone around us, then looks at me. “We’re going for lunch.”
Walking out of the common area, I look at him. I’m still flushed and I’m trying to get my heart to stop pounding so intensely! “So, should we eat at the bakery? They have amazing sandwiches.”
“I’m thinking of going somewhere off campus.” He responds. “I know this amazing Italian restaurant. You down?”
I shrug my shoulders even though eating out of campus is very inconvenient given how amazing the restaurants on campus are. “Sure!”
As he leads us to his car, he looks at me and smiles. “I named your boobs.”
“Did you now?” I taunt. “Let’s hear it then.”
“Left one is Sebas, because it’s bigger, and the right one is Tian.”
I laugh out loud. “It’s actually super creepy that you noticed my left boob is bigger than my right one. And I’m not naming my boobs after you. No thanks. I’m going to name them … hmm… Charlie,” I point to my left boob, “Hunnam.” I point to my right one.
Sebastian groans in satisfaction. “People say I look like him.
”
“So?” I don’t deny it.
“Happy to know I’m your type to a T.”
“What’s your type?” I ask him. We reach his car and he opens the door for me. He looks around then holds me around the waist, pushing himself against my body.
Leaning close to my ear, his lip touches the lobe and I suppress a shiver. “Petite blondes with huge tits.”
He smirks and pushes away, goes to his side, and enters the car. I take a deep breath and follow.
***
He drives twenty-five minutes to the restaurant, and I like it. It’s far enough that no one we know is around, which is a blessing when you go to Sawson’s.
“Sebastian!” A chubby Italian man approaches and hugs Sebastian tightly to his chest. “It’s been a long time, no?”
“Yes, Pierro. I’ve missed your amazing food. This is Isabel.” He places his hand behind my back.
“Hi!” I say brightly, offering to shake his hand.
“We give hugs here!” He squishes me to his chest. “She is bellissima, no?” He holds me an arm’s length away.
“Yes, which is why I call her Bella.” He winks at me.
Pierro seats us on a secluded table, giving us our privacy.
“How do you know him?” I ask as Sebastian sits opposite me.
“I’ve known him for a long time.” He responds while picking up the menu. “I’ve been coming here since I was five years old with my father. Growing up, every Sunday my dad and I would spend the day together. Whether we went hiking, surfing, bungee jumping, or even to an interesting art gallery, we made it a tradition to dine here for dinner.”
He speaks fondly about his father, his love for him beams on his face.
“That’s amazing Seb. So you’re close to your dad?”
“Oh yeah. He’s been my rock throughout my life. I don’t mean to sound cocky, but he is Edmond Carter as you know.” Yes, everyone in the US knows one of the richest men in the world who owns the largest diamond-mining company.
“He could’ve very easily fallen into the cliché role of the absentee father, but he didn’t. He put me first at every turn, even at the expense of his business.”
I smile at his candid words. Not many men would admit the love they have for their fathers.
“And your mom?” I ask and immediately regret it when his expression hardens.
“She left a long time ago. I never knew her, so she doesn’t matter.”
“I’m sorry.” I reach out and place my hand on his clenched fist.
“It’s fine.” He responds tightly. “I guess, I just don’t get it. With the way the world works, karma and all, I don’t get how someone could leave and destroy my good-hearted father like she did. She was cheating on him and when he found out, he was heartbroken. He was amazing to her and she still cheated. He deserved so much more than a cheating bitch.”
“And you haven’t seen her since?” I ask.
“When they divorced, she left us for ten years and travelled around the world with her latest flings, using the money she got from the divorce. She came back to see us last year, but I have no interest in having a relationship with her. My father taught me everything I know, supported me in everything I wanted to do. She only came back when she ran out of money.”
“For what it’s worth, a son is the creation of his father, and from what I’ve seen, you’re a good guy. So, I can only imagine how amazing your dad is.” He looks at me and I continue. “Maybe one day he’ll find someone and receive the love he’s always deserved.”
“Do you believe people can be faithful at all times? Loyal to their partner throughout a marriage, a lifelong marriage?”
“Yes.” I respond strongly. “If they’re in love, then yes.” Selena’s parents confirmed that for me. Hell, even Selena and Jax would never be with other people, they’re too obsessed with one another.
“My father was in love with her and she still cheated.”
“She wasn’t in love with your father.” I respond. “At least not in a pure and honest way. After the divorce, she travelled around the world with her latest flings. Those are not signs of a good, loving, and honest woman. She’s selfish and only had love for herself. Women like her would cheat.”
His mouth tilts up on one side. “So not all women cheat?”
“Do you think they do?”
He shrugs his shoulders. “I just don’t want to end up like my dad did, heartbroken and deceived.”
“Then don’t date superficial women. Find someone who would love you even if you lose every penny.” I raise my glass of wine and take a small sip.
“Ha!” He laughs. “Have you seen the women in Sawson?”
“There are some good ones around.” I wink at him and his smile grows.
“How about you? What are your parents like?” I try to hide my grimace at his question. I’ve lied to so many people that it comes naturally to me.
“Oh, you know. They’re cool people but I’m not as close to them as you are to your father.” Understatement of the century…
“That’s good, you deserve good people too.”
“So, did you grow up in Sawson?” I change topics and we talk until the waiter arrives at our table.
“The lasagna here is unbelievable. Do you trust me to order for us?”
“Sure!” I say excitedly.
Our conversation flows naturally. We laugh, flirt, speak about anything and everything.
“So,” he says, resting backward on the couch while looking at me, “who was the guy?”
“Which guy?”
“The guy who was all over you.”
“Oh, Gary?” I laugh out loud. “He’s a friend.”
He releases a humph while rolling his eyes. “He obviously wants you.”
“Are you jealous, Seb?” I tease, biting my lip to contain my wide smile. I like that he seems jealous.
He leans forward with a hard smile. “I want you and I know you want me too. Back in the common area, you made me so hard and I know you were wet for me. I wanted to fuck you. The only thing that stopped me is knowing that other men would see how you look like when you come. Now imagine, ten minutes before we felt all that, I see a guy all over you.”
I’m breathing heavily.
“Sebastian…” I murmur, unable to form words.
“Who is he, Isabel?”
“No one, Sebastian. Just a friend.” I repeat intently. He nods sternly before relaxing.
“You sure?”
Damn, this guy has trust issues.
“Yes.” I nod. “I don’t want him like I want you.”
“That’s what I wanted to hear.”
Our eyes lock and for a few seconds, we do not talk, we simply look. It’s like there’s a string between us, transmitting heat from his body to mine. It tethers me to him and as we look into each other’s eyes, I sink deeper into him.
He breaks our connection by looking away and runs his hands through his hair roughly, in discomfort.
I look down as my cheeks continue to burn. He uses a thumb to lift my face up.
“Tonight.” He says.
“What?” I respond, still not over the intensity of our moment. He gets up and sits next to me. He kisses me until I once again forget my surroundings.
“My friend is having a party tonight. You’re coming. I’ll text you the details. I want you, Isabel, don’t make me beg.”
I’m doing this, I can’t not! I need him too much and in the most carnal way possible. I need to feel Sebastian inside me. And I know for a fact, he wants me, and not just any girl. He wants me in a deeper way than I thought possible. I feel it in his touch, I see it in his eyes.
“Tonight.” I nod my head.
He leans down and kisses me again, this time softly. He examines every inch of my lips, tongue, and neck. My knees grow weak and the level of my wetness is embarrassing after the consistent foreplay we’ve had.
“Sebastian.” I moan, moving away from him. “I think I have t
he female equivalent of blue balls.” This hurts!
His eyes widen and then he bursts out in laughter. I can’t help but join in.
He wipes a tear which formed as he was laughing. “I know I’m torturing us both. I just can’t help it. If I didn’t have to go to soccer practice in an hour, I would take you home and fuck you, right now.”
