Briana’s over there looking tired,” Grams said and everyone laughed. Miracle wheeled the wheelchair over to me and I quickly sat in it. We got the rest of our belongings and left the hospital.
ADONIS
I held both of my twins in my arms as I walked towards the waterfall in our backyard. I went up a couple of steps and was met by the sound of waves as the ocean’s waters cascaded towards the shore. I was set. I was happy and most importantly I was satisfied. I had the woman of my dreams, and my two beautiful sons by my side. Back in the say, I would have never imagined living life like this, but here I was living the dream. I admired my boys as they slept peacefully in my arms. “Baby, where are you,” I heard Briana call.
“I’m up here looking at the ocean, come here, love,” I called out. I turned around and smiled as I watched Briana carefully walk up the steps. When our eyes locked, I can almost promise you that I fell in love again. She was the epitome of a kingpin’s dream, she was my heartbeat outside of my chest.
“What are my boys doing out here,” she smiled as she walked towards me. We shared a deep kiss and both looked at the beautiful sunset in the distance.
“I love you, baby,” I answered her. Purposely ignoring her last question.
“I love you more,” she smiled back.
“Now and forever?” I asked.
“Always and forever,” she answered. She stood on her tippy-toes and kissed me passionately. She suddenly pulled back and our eyes locked before I kissed her lips again. I smiled at her and placed Agassi in her arms. I took her hand as we began walking towards the house.
“Baby.”
“Yes, my love,” she answered as she held on to my hand.
“Forever ain’t enough, our love will last an eternity.”
