“Close your eyes and just feel,” I say before I slide my tongue from her opening to her clit. I stop to grab her panties and yank them down to her knees. She starts to wiggle, trying to kick them all the way off.
“Don’t move. Leave them there,” I say before I grab her legs and lay them against my shoulders. “Hold on to me.” I flip us over. I’ve got her pretty pink pussy hovering over my face and I dive right in.
“Jesus, Lincoln,” Remmy says while putting her hands through my hair, steadying herself.
I should have thought about this better. With her legs under my shoulders, I have to hold myself up on my elbows which makes my hands useless. All I want to do is feel her from the inside, her pussy wrapped around my fingers. As if she could read my mind, she wiggles a leg out of her panties and sits up on one foot.
“I said don’t move,” I say right before I give her ass a tap. “Lucky for you that’s exactly what I needed.” I push a finger inside her without warning.
“Oh fuck, yes.” Remmy puts one hand on her knee, leaving the other in my hair, squeezing it roughly. She starts moving her hips, riding my face. My dick is begging to be let free, this is what hell must be like. A ready and willing pussy that you can’t fuck. Ok, can’t isn’t exactly the right word. I just don’t want to scare her away.
I want Remmy in my life. I want to build something with her, laugh with her, and I want to fuck her every single chance I get. And even though fucking her now wouldn’t necessarily ruin that, I want her to know that I’m here for her, not just here to get off.
I curl my finger in a come-hither motion and suck her clit into my mouth, while I reach behind her and rub her secret little nub. I can feel her body stiffen and I wait for her to tell me to stop, but she never does. I use her own juices to get my finger lubed up for her perfect little ass as I fuck her with my fingers faster.
“Holy fuck, oh my God. Don’t stop.” She practically screams.
Fuck yes. I wish I would have known she was into this before.
I move a second finger into her pussy just moments before her whole body freezes then starts twitching all over. All three of my fingers feel her orgasm rip through her. Her walls squeeze my fingers to the point where I’m afraid they might snap. My first reaction is to pull my hands free, but I don’t. I just start finger fucking her harder, drawing her orgasm out as long as I possibly can.
“Oh fuck, fuck, fuck, Jesus Christ.” She moves to grab my hands and roll off me.
“Fucking hell, Lincoln,” she pants between breaths.
I roll onto my side and debate how I should take care of myself. I could go jerk off in the shower, but I don’t want to leave her alone. Instead, I settle for grabbing her and pulling her into me.
“I’ve never done that before.”
“What?” I ask, moving her hair away from her face.
“Well, I’ve never sat on anyone’s face before and…” she bites her lip nervously, “you know.”
Never? Well damn.
“I’m sorry. I thought you had from the way you reacted.”
“No, don’t be sorry. It was… fantastic.” She starts blushing but pulls herself into the crook of my arm and wraps a leg around me.
Within minutes I feel her breath even out and I can tell she’s sleeping.
I don’t know when it happened but this right here, her in my arms, has become my favorite thing.
I can’t let myself get too comfortable, though. Tessa is still out there, and I can’t let her blindside us again. I need to protect not only myself but Remmy too. Tessa might have believed me once about Remmy, but I know she’s not stupid enough to fall for it again. I tried setting her up before the wedding; getting her to agree to meet me after the attack wasn’t easy. She knew something was up. But of course, she’s just crazy enough to think she stood a chance. The damn undercover wasn’t convincing enough though, and she was gone before she was even really there. After that, I was supposed to be under constant surveillance. I still don’t know how she found us, but I can’t be left unprepared again. I refused my own gun last time, a mistake I won’t likely repeat.
Remmy needs me now, I just hope I won’t let her down.
The sun creeping in through the blinds wakes me up, and I start to panic when I notice Remmy isn’t in bed beside me. Sitting up, wiping the sleep from my eyes, I see the door open and quietly get up to investigate. I hope it’s too soon to have to deal with Tessa, but I mentally prepare for it anyways.
The house is quiet except the sound of water coming from the bathroom across the hall. The bathroom door is open a crack, and I peek inside and let out a breath I didn’t know I was holding. Remmy is wrapped up in a towel, dancing to music I can’t hear, drying her hair with another towel. She looks so peaceful. So beautiful. I prop myself up against the door frame and quietly watch, burning this image into my mind so I’ll never forget.
She does a spin and stops abruptly when she sees me standing there.
“That’s not creepy at all.”
I can’t help but chuckle. Yeah, probably creepy.
“I woke up alone in bed,” I say as I push myself off the door frame and walk into the bathroom. “Never imagined I would be getting a show this early.” I stand behind her and look at our reflections in the mirror.
“You know, you look like a different person without the beard and hair.” She reaches up behind her head and cups my face, rubbing the blank space that my beard used to cover, but I move away from her before she can.
“Yeah, just as sexy as before, though.” I wink at her and take a step away from her and start to get undressed for a shower.
“Of course. That’s not what I meant. You’re still sexy. I’m sorry, I thought it was your choice, but I guess from that reaction, it wasn’t. Tessa?”
“Yep. Thought it would help me get unnoticed in case cops were involved. She’s not stupid. Crazy yes, stupid no.” I step under the water and wish it would wash away the memories Tessa along with the dirt and grime.
“Well, I’d have to disagree,” Remmy says, leaning against the shower door.
“Oh? Why’s that?”
“Because she made the biggest mistake of her life last week,” Remmy says matter-of-factly.
“And what was that?” I grab the shampoo to start washing my hair, but Remmy grabs my wrist to stop me.
“She fucked with me and someone I care about. She won’t get away with it this time.” And then she turns and leaves the room.
Someone she cares about.
Oh, hell. Remmy is a possessive little thing, huh? Well, lucky for her, I think I’ll like being possessed by her.
After rushing through my shower, I make my way into the kitchen for some coffee and breakfast. I find Sam and Remmy whispering and stop in the hallway. I know eavesdropping isn’t polite, but I can’t help myself. I need to find out as much about Remmy as I can. She hasn’t exactly opened up to me yet.
“Of course I remember, Sam. You weren’t the one chained up in a fucking basement for a week.”
“I’m just saying, he’s a nice guy and all, but he’s got a lot of… baggage.”
No, shit. Can’t disagree with you there, Sam.
“Yeah, I know. And I’m not saying we’re like, together or anything. I’m just saying I like him around.”
“Which is your way of saying you basically love him.”
Love? No way. We’ve only known each other a little over a week. I can’t deny there’s an intense draw to her, though. Is that love? I mean, I was willing to leave with crazy Tessa to keep Remmy safe. That has to mean something. But love?
“No, it’s not. Just because I like the guy doesn’t mean I love him. You need to calm down, Samantha. Not everyone has a whirlwind romance like you and Rylan. I’m not you, and he is most definitely not Rylan. In any way.” I can hear the grin in her voice and can picture her wiggling her eyebrows at Sam.
I can’t even see her but I know how beautiful she looks right now. If she’s not admit
ting that I’m a god and she’s head over heels in love with me, I must not be doing my job right.
“Good morning ladies, sleep well?” I ask as I walk into the kitchen towards the coffee machine.
“Fan-fucking-tastic,” Remmy says, and this time I can see her eyebrows wiggling and laugh.
“Great, thanks. You?” Sam responds.
“Woke up a little stiff, but otherwise the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a long time. Very comfortable bed.”
“Oh. I thought you were staying on the couch?” Sam asks, looking back to Remmy. “Oh. OH!”
Remmy laughs and blushes a little before taking a drink of what I assume is coffee from the mug in her hands.
“Yeah, well, umm, I’ll go check and see if Rylan is up yet,” Sam says, quickly jumping out of her chair and practically running from the room.
“She’s a little too hyper in the mornings. I’ve told her to dial it back but… anyways. What are your plans for today?”
“I have to meet Rylan’s father to make a statement and all that. Then I’m going to go buy a gun and go shooting. Actually, you should come for that.”
“A gun? I’ve never actually touched one before. I’m not sure that’s such a good idea. You know first-hand how clumsy I can be.”
“That’s exactly why you should come with me. For practice. Tessa doesn’t play fair. I know it’s a shitty situation and it’s my fault your involved, but I would feel better if I could protect you. If you could learn to protect yourself.”
“You don’t think she’ll just give up now?”
No, I don’t. Tessa keeps coming back when I least expect it, so I need to be ready at all times.
“She hasn’t given up yet has she?” I ask while pulling a chair out and taking a seat next to Remmy.
“No. I suppose not.” She takes a drink of her coffee and eyes me over the mug. “Yeah, I’ll go with you. I don’t plan on buying one myself, but it can’t hurt to practice I guess.”
Sitting here with Remmy now makes my head spin. I never thought I would enjoy a woman’s company after all of the crazy that has been Tessa. Hooking up is one thing, but developing feelings isn’t what I expected. Especially with Remmy. I’ve heard all about her from Rylan in the past, and she doesn’t seem to be the type either. Funny how things can change so quickly.
“Do you want me to give you a call when I’m finished with my statement?”
“You don’t have my number, let alone a phone,” Remmy says before taking her phone out of her pocket. “Here, use mine until you have time to get a new one.”
“I can’t just take your phone and leave you with nothing, Remmy. Anything could happen while I’m gone.”
“Don’t worry about me Lincoln, I’ll be fine,” she interrupts me. “I’m not going anywhere, and Sam will be with me all day while you’re gone. She’s under LLBF in my contacts if you need to get ahold of us. Rylan is in there too.”
“I really should have something on me just in case. It’s unlikely Tessa would come back so soon, but it doesn’t hurt to play it safe. But only if you’re sure.”
This almost feels normal. Sitting here with her. Talking about our day, compromising on even the littlest of things. I could get used to this feeling.
“It's settled then,” she says standing up and bringing her mug to the sink. “You take my phone and let me know through Sam when you’re coming back to get me. We will go play with some guns and maybe get a bite to eat after.”
As if reading my mind, Remmy turns around before walking out of the kitchen.
“I wouldn’t get too snoopy in my phone if I were you. It could make the rest of your day… hard to get through.” Then she disappears into the living room with a blush rising on her cheeks.
Damn that woman.
Don’t get too snoopy, huh? I wonder what she’s got in this thing. I don’t think she would have said anything if she honestly didn’t want me to look. And that hard to get through the rest of my day if I do comment, that has to mean something since she was blushing when she walked away. Just a quick peek can’t hurt.
“Fuck,” I say under my breath
“I heard that, Lincoln. Just couldn’t keep your nose clean, could ya?” Remmy laughs from the kitchen door, appearing out if nowhere.
Not only are there photos of Remmy modeling tons of sexy as hell bra and panty sets, but there are several full nudes showing off her perfect little cunt and holy hell, there are even some of her with other women. I keep looking back from her phone to her standing there looking at me with a wide smile on her face.
“You’re smarter than you look, Lincoln. See you later, babe.”
It’s going to be a long, hard day.
Chapter Five
Remmy
“You did that on purpose, didn’t you?” Sam asked me after I walked back into the living room and sat beside her on the couch.
“Of course I did. Who can resist being told not to do something like that? I didn’t think he’d fight through it and go looking so fast, though.” I laugh to myself. He’s definitely something.
It got so serious this morning, I just wanted to give him a temporary break. We’ve both been through so much in the last few days, it’s nice to just pretend. Even if just for a minute. Tessa is out there somewhere, planning God knows what, just waiting. After he had brought up the gun, I realized I can’t sit back and hope she doesn’t come back. I need to be proactive because she is coming back.
“So you’re going to get a gun then?” Sam lifts an eyebrow at me.
“I never said I’d get one, but yeah, I think he’s right.” I turn my head to stare out of the window and add, “She’s not going to stop, Sam. I’m terrified.”
“I’d be surprised if you weren’t. What you went through,” she stops talking and turns her body to face me, “I can’t even imagine, Rem. You’re holding yourself together so well but I know you, I know on the inside you’re a wreck. Don’t push us out just to save face.”
She’s right, I know she is. Somewhere deep inside me is the girl who punched her way through her issues, someone who slept her way passed loneliness, and who spoke without thinking. Now she’s buried under stress and fear.
I can’t let Tessa win like that.
“Hey, do you think I could borrow your car today?” I ask, sitting up straight and pretending I don’t notice the sad look in her eyes. “I need to go get some clothes and shower.”
“Uh, I guess.” She looks nervous. “Want me to go with you?”
“No,” I say while standing to leave, “I got this, Sam. Thank you. I’ll only be gone about twenty minutes. Love you.”
As quick as I can, I grab the keys off the hook and walk out the door.
I drive as fast as I can because if I wasn’t done and back to Sam’s within thirty minutes, she’d be calling out a search party. I need to move fast for what I was about to do. No time to think about what I was doing because I couldn’t take the chance of backing out now.
I pulled up in front of Regents Street Pub & Grill just in time to see Ben—our newest hire—coming into work.
“Wait a second, Ben!” I shout as I jog toward him.
“Oh hey, Remmy. I didn’t think you’d be in so soon. What’s up?”
“I need to ask you a favor. And I can’t tell you how I know that I can even ask you.”
I know he understands the type of conversation we were about to have because after looking around the parking lot, he asks me to talk with him upstairs on the roof.
“How’d you know?” Ben asks me nervously, standing there with his hands in his pocket leaning against the roof door.
“Does it really matter?” I counter. I know how to play this tough guy game. I’ve had to my whole life.
“No, I suppose it doesn’t. What do you need?”
“I need someone found. I don’t want her hurt; I just need her to get a message.”
“I’ll need last known name, address, and phone number.”
“Ok
ay. I’ve seen you around town ya’ know, I put two and two together. That application you filled out also had your prez name as an emergency contact.”
“I knew I liked you Remmy Elizabeth Walters, age 22, female, never married, no children,” Ben rattled off my life history. I don’t know if it was an attempt to scare me, to make me realize he knew everything about me. Or to make me feel confident he could be the one to help me.
“I don’t want you to risk anything, though, so it’s no big deal if you can’t get anything for me.”
“No, I think it’s actually a good idea. Could show them I’m legit. I’m just getting into this world. I’ll just say it’s an ex and I need to find her.”
“Alright, thanks so much. I’ll be in contact. And hey, be careful with them. I’ve…um… run into that group a few times, and I know how it can get,” I say before walking away.
After running back to my apartment for a bag of clothes and other things I’ll need for my stay at Sam’s, I head back. At the thirty-minute mark, I walk into the kitchen to see Sam pacing the kitchen.
“You said twenty minutes, Rem,” she says, still pacing.
“I know I did, but I’m also an adult and don’t need you to play mommy.”
“Can you blame me for worrying? You were just abducted by a psychopath, one who’s still out there somewhere,” Sam says after sitting down at the table, finally.
“I get it. I just need to try to get back to normal, Sam. I can’t let her win.”
After several moments of silence, Sam takes my hand and give me a small smile.
“I understand, Rem. I do. I’m sorry, I just can’t get my head around this.”
“It’s not really my story to tell, Sam. I’m sure Lincoln will give you more details about her when he’s ready. And I promise to tell you everything that happened to me soon. Just not yet. I still need to wrap my head around it too.”
“I get it. I’ll be here when you’re ready.” Sam stands without letting go of my hands. “Come on. The boys are gone all day, we can go watch your favorite movie.”
“You’re letting me pick for real this time?” I ask, stunned.
“Well yeah, as long as it’s…”
