  The next to come was a ring bearer. The son of one of Thomas' friends, Molly.

  After that, the bridesmaids, Ivy, Kyra, and Elizabeth made their way down the aisle single file. They wore pale yellow dresses and no shoes since the grass was so soft. Each tossed me a wide grin as they took their places on Cedar's side of the altar.

  I waited, impatient and excited and a little bit nauseous. Any second, I would see Cedar come down the aisle, and it was hard to contain myself.

  When she appeared, it was as if the sun sent rays just to highlight her beauty. I thought I appreciated her appearance when she came to see me before, but now?

  She glowed, radiant with happiness.

  This perfectly fit the image I had of her on a daily basis. She was the sun, sent to light my world on fire.

  She reached the altar, reached for me, and we clasped hands and turned to our officiant, both beaming.

  “Dearly beloved...”
