After a time a loud clap of thunder was heard and the two shafts of light miraculously began to merge into one centred beam that was so bright the sisters could no longer see beyond it to the brilliant blue afternoon sky. A winged figure was seen to descend slowly down the shaft of celestial light and land on the platform before Electra. The oracle immediately fell on one knee before the great spirit and her sisters did likewise.

The huge, glistening being folded his mighty wings away and held up a hand to gesture. ‘Greetings, friends. How can I aid?’

‘Welcome, Raziel. I thank you for responding to my call,’ Electra began, keeping her eyes diverted from the being’s face. He was a prince among spirits and to meet the gaze of such a powerful being would drive her mortal brain beyond sanity. She was able to recognise the spirit by his voice, his robes and the golden book he carried, which contained the secrets to the mysteries of the universe and the fifteen hundred keys to unlock those mysteries. ‘I seek to know if the Black League and the Dark Lodge are the same order?’

‘No, my friend, they are not,’ the spirit replied. ‘The Black League is an underground society formed by the Pleiadeans to oversee intergalactic intelligence here on Gaia.’

‘You mean there are beings from other planets among us besides those of the Nefilim kind?’ Electra wasn’t too sure what the spirit was inferring.

‘Every being has developed through a series of evolutions on different planets in other star systems on various planes of awareness,’ Raziel explained. ‘As the Nefilim made it their business to perfect the human form, other interstellar races made it their business to contribute to human soul-mind evolution by incarnating into the human race. Or they simply assume a human form in order to live amongst the inhabitants of this planet and influence the development of mankind in both constructive and destructive ways.’

‘Are you saying I could be from another planet?’ Electra ventured to ask and the angel was heard to chuckle.

‘Your soul-mind came to this planet from the evolutionary cycle of Venus, which took place eons before this planet became habitable. The Venusians were the result of the interbreeding of the Pleiadean and Sirian settlements on that planet. As you are a Titan in this incarnation, it means that you have Vegan blood in your veins, for they were the original Titans, who stood twenty-five feet tall on average. They made their contribution to your gene pool long ago.’

‘How does the Black League fit in?’ Electra attempted to get the pieces of the puzzle to fall into place.

‘Those interstellar intelligences who have not incarnated into human soul-mind evolution maintain their original forms and oversee the development of mankind from their secret bases adrift in deep space and their secret cities deep within the Earth. The Black League is in council at present. I could show you, if you wish it?’

Raziel’s casual offer sent shock waves through Electra’s body. ‘I would be greatly honoured.’ She bowed lower in gratitude. The spirit held out a hand to Electra and she was consumed by his celestial radiance.

One day’s march from Chailidocean, and the army, composed of the various native tribes of Atlantis, had tripled in number since Prometheus and Orestes had begun their journey north from Usiqua.

The red skinned son of the Shu Sar Absalom, Jerram, had once ruled Usiqua, but Absalom’s descendants had been done out of their rulership and lives during Shu Sar Alaric’s rule. Turan, Alaric’s twin brother, had been sent to rule the native tribes in Usiqua following Jerram’s execution. Alaric had expected the native people to rebel against their new leader and his family, and do the Shu Sar out of the trouble of having to dispose of his brother himself. But the peoples of Usiqua came to love their new ruler and his wife, Temperance, once High Priestess of Chailidocean. Alaric tried many times to correct his grave error, but every attempt to make war on Usiqua failed miserably. Turan and his family had come into the favour of some of the Nefilim, who supplied him with the technology to protect his kingdom against the armies of Chailidocean. In addition, Temperance sought the guidance of the Logos in devising a means to deflect any evil spirits cast at their kingdom by the Dark Lodge. This protection had served their descendants well, until the day Turan’s great grandson, Prometheus, took his wife beyond the borders of their kingdom on a diplomatic errand. After thousands of years Alaric’s vengeance found an outlet, when his grandson, Aegisthus, seized the opportunity to send his demons to dismember Prometheus’s first and only wife.

Prometheus stood on the main deck of his largest hovercraft, observing all the native peoples of Atlantis converging to join their convoy from the east and west, in all manner of flying and land transports, riding on large animals and walking on foot.

‘Surely this is the mightiest army this continent has ever seen,’ commented Orestes, clapping his hands, pleased by the turnout and confident of victory.

Prometheus nodded to agree with Orestes, finding the numbers rather disturbing; controlling such a mixed bag of warriors was going to be difficult. ‘I don’t see any of our brother, Atlas’s, official forces among them?’

The Titans of the royal line all called themselves brothers, be they cousins, uncles, or in-laws, as they were all directly descended from the Shu Sar Absalom. Orestes and Prometheus were actually only distant cousins and Atlas was equally as distant a relative.

‘Did you really expect to see Atlas get involved in this?’ Orestes asked. ‘The dark lands of Hyperborea are far removed from Aegisthus’s threat. And as Atlas has sorcerers among his people to combat the Dark Lodge if they do manage to extend their reign that far, Atlas probably feels this serves us right for trusting the Logos and not utilising these new dark forces that have come into play in our land.’

Every time the Dark Lodge and their creatures were mentioned, Prometheus was tortured by the vision of the blood-drenched chamber in which he had found his wife’s remains. Not one piece of her had been left intact; Prometheus’s healers were forced to identify the body from the blood and shredded tissue left dripping from the walls. This hadn’t been an unprovoked attack, Prometheus realised. It had been Aegisthus’s way of objecting to Usiqua harbouring Orestes. Prometheus had had no intention of making war on Chailidocean before his wife’s death, but now avenging her horrid end was all that he lived for. ‘In that case, Atlas is as responsible for my wife’s death as the sorcerer who gave the command to kill her,’ he concluded.

‘If my mother and sister had not betrayed my father, all of this would have been avoided.’ Orestes started to quietly fume, as he did every time he thought about his father’s betrayal. ‘They will pay for the havoc they’ve unleashed.’

‘But was it not your sister, Electra, who smuggled you out of the city and saved you from certain death at the hands of Aegisthus?’ Prometheus queried and Orestes nodded, his scowl remaining constant. ‘Why would she conspire to kill the Shu Sar and then go to so much trouble to spare his heir, Orestes? It makes no sense at all. If she was for the sorcerer, Electra would have left you to be slaughtered.’

One of Prometheus’s advisors entered to request an audience with the two military leaders on behalf of a prince who had travelled from beyond the ocean east of Atlantis to speak with them. Both Prometheus and Orestes were most intrigued by the announcement and gave their permission to show the leader in.

The black skinned warrior was tall by native standards, although he still stood a good foot shorter than Prometheus and Orestes. The black prince was painted and dressed ornately, as was the way of his people, and bowed before the men he’d travelled so far to see.

Prometheus’s advisor stayed to translate the conversation for his Shar. ‘Greetings, Prometheus,’ he interpreted the words of the visitor. ‘I am Lugal, ruler of the city of Tangier. My apologies for disrupting your preparations for war, but I bring a warning to you from our mutual ally, the Nefilim Lord Enki.’ The translator’s eyes opened wide as he looked to his Shar, interested to hear the response.

Prometheus was a little shocked h
imself, for he had not had any direct contact with the Nefilim though he knew his forefathers had. ‘I am grateful for your journey,’ Prometheus said in welcome, keeping an open mind. ‘What is the message?’

Lugal came forward and handed Prometheus a thought band recorder. The Titan accepted the gift, not knowing what to make of the sleek metallic band. The prince, noting the Titan’s confused expression, had a quiet word with the translator, motioning to his forehead as he spoke.

‘He advises that you should place it around your forehead, my Shar.’

Prometheus, eager to hear the message, moved to comply, but Orestes snatched the item from his friend.

‘How do we know Lugal is telling the truth?’ Orestes demanded. ‘This could inflict pain, madness or death for all we know.’

The translator filled the prince in on Orestes’s concerns before Prometheus could prevent it; he didn’t wish to offend the prince, who by all appearances was going way out of his way to aid them.

The visitor launched into a long spiel, which the translator quickly interpreted to the Shars.

‘My capital is named after the most beautiful woman who ever lived. Her name was Tangis … she was my wife.’

Prometheus’s heart immediately went out to the prince, realising that Lugal, too, had lost his wife.

‘Tangis was travelling back from Antilla by sea when a sorcerer came to my city and demanded that I surrender my lands to Aegisthus, ruler of Chailidocean, lest my wife’s boat perish in a storm.’

‘I had no idea Aegisthus’s ambitions had spread so far,’ Orestes commented, more disposed towards the stranger as he took a seat to hear him out.

‘I did not take the threat seriously,’ the translator continued his task, ‘and even if I had done, I would not have agreed to betray my people without a fight.’

The prince paused for a moment, revering a memory, and then continued his account.

‘So, fight we did. My people died horrible deaths. I lost my wife, my family and my lands.’

‘And yet you live?’ Orestes commented. Prometheus found the implication of the question most offensive; fortunately, Lugal did not.

‘The Master Enki rescued me and quelled my fire for revenge. He told me that I need not concern myself avenging my wife, as the destruction of the sorcerers of Atlantis had already been arranged by a greater power.’

  ‘Us, right?’ Orestes flattered himself.

The prince slowly shook his head. ‘You must leave this continent at once, if you wish to live.’

‘This continent?’ Prometheus looked at the band in his hands, concerned for Usiqua, as it shared the landmass with two other kingdoms of Atlantis.

Cintrala and its capital, Chailidocean, Aegisthus had thieved. The kingdom to the far north of the continent, Portea, was ruled from its capital Menocea by Menoetius. Menoetius was a first cousin and close ally of Atlas, who ruled the land beyond the great sea that bordered Portea. Atlas’s kingdom was known as Hyperborea — it was also known as the Dark Land, for the distant north of this landmass spent six months of the year in darkness. Menoetius did not oppose Aegisthus’s dark lords when they’d come calling in at Portea and had thus managed to maintain his position and lands which he now ruled with one of the dark lords at his side.

Even Orestes was silent as Prometheus raised the thought band recorder belonging to the ancient Nefilim lord and placed it on his forehead.

  IN THE LEAGUE OF

  GODS

The enormous majestic chamber was not entirely solid in structure: the walls, floor and ceiling, in fact everything within sight, seemed to be composed of brightly coloured, semi-translucent light matter. We are in the spirit realm? Electra bethought her guide.

This is the ethereal world that exists between planes and dimensions, Raziel advised.

Electra understood that only her conscious perception had accompanied the spirit to this place … her body she’d left back in the High Temple. She turned in circles, taking in the beings that sat at the huge, circular conference table over which she hovered — this featured a speaking platform in the centre. At one section of the table sat strange hairless beings, with black slanted eyes, and bodies and heads much larger than their spindly little arms and short little legs. Some of these beings were very tall (twice Electra’s Titan height of seven feet), and they were bluish in colour. The representatives seated opposite them exhibited the same alien features, but they were shorter even than the native tribes of Atlantis and their skin had a greyish tinge. The rest of the assembly was a surprise to the oracle. Why, most of them are human … sort of. She noted some variation in skin and hair colour, height and radiance, but these lofty beings were all readily recognisable as human — although they appeared more like angels minus the wings.

Don’t be deceived by appearances, for those you perceive as human have assumed a humanlike form for communication purposes. Or they have incarnated into human soul-mind evolution and then ascended back towards the Logos maintaining that form, Raziel told her. A body is only a fleeting collection of atoms drawn together around a monad, that is the divine-spiritual life atom, in order that it might interact with matter and express itself in the physical world. The expression of myself that I show to you is not at all like my true form, but it is acceptable to you. All the beings you see here have made important contributions to mankind … physically, mentally, psychically, emotionally or spiritually. For this is the senate of the Brotherhood of Light, who are dedicated to the development of the human soul-mind.

Then why are they called the Black League? This puzzled Electra. This name does seem to confuse the issue.

And what is confusion? It really means co-fusion with all-that-is? When you are at one with all-that-is and do not judge, you will see both positive and negative as beneficial to evolution. You cannot have creation without both polarities. You cannot know the divine without having experienced both polarities. You judge the word black to mean evil and of low order, when it is, in fact, all things mysterious. It is from the darkness of the womb that you emerge into the physical world, and thus black represents female energy. Out of the darkened depths of the cosmic void sprang this universe that you are yet to understand. Humans fear what they do not understand, that which is beyond their control, and this is where your misconception and fear about blackness and darkness comes from. The Black League formed with the desire to promote the path to inner wisdom in more warlike and vengeful intelligences who were integrating themselves into human consciousness. Beings such as those from Orion which have been incarnating into the human race since before the golden age of Atlantis. Raziel was about to point out the obvious, when Electra guessed.

So these Orions are the force behind the Dark Lodge.

Indeed, granted the spirit. They desire to conquer your land and your people, just as they desired to conquer your spiritual ancestors, the Pleiadeans, in their last evolution, long ago in another star system.

But what became of their own planets? Electra wondered why this interstellar soul war was now being played out on Gaia.

What warlike soul is ever content with what it has? The warrior’s purpose is to conquer, and many planets have been destroyed in the struggle. The souls that escaped migrated to colonies they had already established on Maldek, a planet that is now just an asteroid belt. That is, one planet away from you towards the outer rim of your star system.

So, the Orions followed the Pleiadeans to this star system, Electra assumed.

And continued the great War of Heaven.

But how do the Nefilim fit into all this? Electra wondered. Do they know about these alien souls waging war over the human beings whose bodies they perfected on this planet?

And on other planets in this system too, Raziel added. Only a chosen few of the Nefilim are advanced enough to have been contacted by the White Brotherhood. The Nefilim are represented by the hooded figure.

Electra noted the hooded character, who did not sit at the conference
table, but stood in the background quietly observing the proceedings.

Ironically, it suits the purposes of the Orions to suppress the knowledge of their presence and work on earth. The more debauched souls among the Nefilim are, with the advent of the Sorcerers of the Dark Lodge, only just beginning to understand the potential of the vengeful soul group that have integrated themselves into human consciousness. This is why, every so often, the Nefilim are baffled when they find themselves confronted with a human soul-mind who is more advanced than they are, for these individuals are the great leaders of previous interstellar races who have come to lead humankind with their experience. You are one of these old souls, Electra. That is why you are so psychically gifted and why even the greatest exponents of the Dark Lodge fear you. For you have the power to instruct the spirits of the Logos, including Uriel, who holds the key to the bottomless pit of Abaddon.

The destructor. Electra choked on the thought. Did this great leader I once was have a name?

Between yourself and your male counterpart, you have been, and will be, several great leaders, known by many different names in many different dimensions —’

My male counterpart? As she asked the question, she had a fleeting vision of the tall, dark-haired Titan she had been seeing in her dreams.

  He is you.

The spirit startled her with the claim, but Electra’s attention was diverted to below where one of the seven angel-like men floated up onto the speaking platform to address the assembly.

‘My news is grave,’ announced the speaker who, Raziel advised, was known as the Master El Morya. ‘The Orions have chosen to hold the Black League to ransom. They take full responsibility for setting the approaching asteroid on a collision course with Gaia and they will divert the threat away from the planet once we have agreed not to oppose their invasion of the civilised world.’
