Kirill (Bratva Blood Brothers, #15) Page 3

by KJ Dahlen

There wasn’t much room but it was clean and didn’t smell like fish. He noticed another small bedroom and from where he stood, he could see her laying on the bed.

In her room, Monster raised his head and stared at him for a moment before laying his head back down on his paws.

Kirill stumbled back to his bedroom and laid down on the bed. His head was pounding by this time, so he sat up just enough to take some aspirin. Laying back down, he closed his eyes and drifted into a light sleep.

It could have been hours or merely minutes but Kirill was roused from his slumber by moaning and groaning from the next room over. He laid there and listened, trying to figure out what he was hearing.

It sounded like Boo and she seemed to be having a nightmare. The sounds were not very clear but as he listened, he heard her begging someone not to hurt her anymore. She would be a good girl if he stopped hurting her. A moment later, he heard her screaming and he shot out of bed.

Going to the doorway, he watched as she threw her arms up in front of her face and went into a fetal position. He didn’t know what hell she was reliving but whatever it was... it wasn’t good.

He moved over to the bed but was blocked by her Monster.

The large dog stood between them and bared his teeth.

Kirill knew better than to try to get to her then. The dog was in major protection mode and he would tear anyone apart who tried to get close to her.

Her legs kicked off the sheets and her t shirt rode up her back. In the moonlight, he could see her skin, but when his eyes focused, he snarled. Her back was filled with scars, the pale lines told him the faint white lines were healed and old but he looked at her carefully. She wasn’t old enough to carry scars like this.

The nightmare seemed to be leaving her now as he stood there in the doorway.

She opened her eyes and seemed to not know where she was. Then she saw him standing there and she shrank away from him. “Who are you?” she whispered. “Go away.”

The monster dog turned around and went to her. He laid his big head on the bed and waited for her to wake up completely.

Kirill watched without saying a word.

Boo leaned forward and laid her head next to Monster’s. “Oh Monster, I’m okay now. I’m back,” she whispered. Wrapping her arms around the dog’s neck, she sobbed. Then she lifted her head and looked at him. “I’m sorry I disturbed your sleep. I’ll try to be quiet.”

“Are you okay?” he demanded to know.

Boo nodded slowly. “I’m awake now. Again, I’m sorry. Please go back to bed.”

Kirill stood there a moment longer.

“Please just go to bed,” she whispered.

He turned around and went back to his own room. He laid down on the bed but he couldn’t go back to sleep.

Her heartbreaking whispers kept echoing in his head. She sounded so much like a child in her begging but she was anything but a child. Her legs, waist, and hips belonged to a woman full grown as she had told him a few hours ago.

He heard movement from the other room, so he sat up on his elbow and watched as she left her room and disappeared out to the deck of the boat.

The Monster dog glanced back at him as he followed her out to the deck.

  Chapter Four

Kirill couldn’t just lay here and not try to help her, so he got up and found his pants. She had told him they were wet when she got him aboard but they were dry now. He pulled them on and fastened them but didn’t bother with his shirt.

Then he followed her out to the deck. He found her wrapped in a blanket sitting on the edge of the boat. Moving her way, he slowed his steps.

The dog lifted his head and watched him come toward them. Monster didn’t do anything but watch him but he let Kirill know he was still protecting his mistress.

Kirill sat down near Boo but he made no move to touch her.

Boo ignored him for a long time but when he didn’t leave her, she asked softly, “What do you want?”

“Are you all right?” he asked her.

She just stared out at the water for a moment before she nodded. “Yeah, I will be. This happens all the time.”

  “So who hurt you?”

She shook her head. “It happened before I came here, so I can’t remember.”

He turned to stare at her in confusion. “What?”

Her fingers plucked the edges of the blanket she had around her shoulders. “I supposed I have to tell you about that, huh?” Shaking her head, Boo began her tale, “I found this place when I was about four, I guess, or at least that’s what I was told. Grandpa Joe found me. He said I was hurt and didn’t seem to know my own name. Well, he cleaned me up and decided to keep me. He started called me Boo because he said I was like a little ghost, following him around, like I couldn’t or wouldn’t let him out of my sight. He used to ask me all the time where I came from, but I never could remember and then after a while, it just didn’t matter anymore. It was about a year later, when the cops came around asking questions. They had found the wreck of a car at the base of a steep ditch and the remains of a woman’s body behind the wheel. They don’t know what happened to the vehicle but they think it was forced off the road on purpose. They didn’t know if there was anyone else in the car with her when it went off the road or not.” Shaking her head she admitted, “I don’t think Joe ever told them about me but he kept me close to him for the longest time after that.”

“Did you ever remember anything between then and now?” Kirill asked.

She shook her head slowly. “No, I never did but the nightmares still plague me. I can never remember any part of them and Joe would never tell me if I said anything that might help me remember them. Then after a while, he said it didn’t matter, as there wasn’t anything we could do, if we didn’t know what had happened to me.”

“You said they beat him to death, for what purpose would they do something like that?” Kirill questioned.

Boo stared out at the water as she answered him, “They want to scare us out of here. You see they need this lake as it ties Pontchartrain to the gulf. They are looking to grow into a big enough threat that no one questions them.”

“Do you have any idea what their end game is?” he asked.

Boo shivered. “I’ve heard rumors around this lake that they might be moving on New Orleans. They want to push the Russians out and run the streets of that city.”

  Kirill swore in Russian.

Boo turned her head and gazed at him curiously. “Yes, and you sound Russian, so maybe you know something about this?”

He shrugged. “I do not like bullies. These punks need to be put down.”

“That would take a small army. And we don’t have one of those.”

“You don’t plan to move?” he asked her.

She frowned at this question. “And go where? I don’t have any other home.” She turned her face to the water. “Joe left me this boat and a small savings he had. I have no other home or relatives that I am aware of, anyway.” She shivered again and buried her face in her blanket.

  “What’s wrong?” Kirill asked.

“I’m always chilled after I have a nightmare. It just takes so long for me to get warm again.”

Kirill growled and hauled her into his lap. He unwrapped her from the blanket, held her to him, and wrapped the blanket around them both. He felt her shiver against him but then she snuggled down into his warmth.

Awhile later, Kirill felt her shift from wakefulness to sleep. He gathered her close to him and stood on his feet. He carried her back to the cabin and hesitated briefly then carried her to his room.

The Monster followed his every step.

He sat down on the bed and laid back with her still in his arms.

Boo snuggled next to him and they fell asleep holding each other.

At least for a little while.

The sun rose over the lake and the brightness shone back into the boat like a mirror.

Kirill squeezed his eyes closed and gr
oaned. Then he became aware of a weight next to him. He opened his eyes and looked down. When he saw Boo’s head on his chest, he felt surprised and pleased that she was still with him.

He tightened his hold slightly and when he looked down, he saw teal eyes looking back. In those teal colored eyes, he saw a question, a question he had no clue about.

Before he could ask her what she wanted she raised her hand and covered his mouth. “Don’t speak,” she begged in a hushed voice. She inched up in the bed until she looked down into his face.

She leaned down and brushed his lips with her own.

At the first touch of their lips joining, a jolt of fire went through him and Kirill felt the true heat of it. Then he grasped the back of her head and crushed her lips under his.

  She moaned under his kiss.

Kirill let the sweet sound give him strength. He opened his lips and thrust his tongue into her mouth then pulled her over on top of him. With one hand on the back of her head and the other hand on her ass, he held her close. He could feel his cock hardening as he ground it against her core.

Boo groaned as she rubbed herself against him. She tore herself free of his kiss and stared at him for a moment. Then without a word, she began rubbing her body against his.

Kirill groaned and told her, “Don’t start something if you’re not going to finish it.” He growled.

“And if I want to finish it, what then?” she whispered.

He stared at her for a moment before he said, “If we do this you belong to me and that gives me certain rights, like the right to protect you.”

She stared down at him. “This is just me and you and I don’t think I need protection, from you anyway. I don’t think you’re going to hurt me, are you?”

“Net, I will not hurt you.” Kirill growled. “But I may not be able to just walk away from you either.”

Boo leaned down and kissed him, silencing his words.

Then they both got lost in the sensation of just feeling. Their blood ran hot and it heated them up to the point of no return. He whipped her t shirt over her head and stared at her bare breasts. They were full and bigger than he’d realized.

His mouth watered at the sight of her bare skin... all tanned and smooth as silk. Her scent surrounded them and he wanted more. He wanted all of her. He lifted her up until her breasts were mouth high and then he tasted them. Groaning, he opened his mouth and consumed her.

She groaned as she felt the fire building within her. When he lowered her down to his chest again and his hands went to her back, he stopped and frowned at her. “What the hell?” he whispered as he felt the skin of her back.

When he expected smooth unfettered skin, his fingers felt the deep rutted scars.

Boo backed away from him and looked down at his face. “I told you when I first came here I was four and had been hurt. Joe saved my life but I’ll always have the scars. I don’t remember how I got them and probably never will.” She tried to move away.

Kirill held her close to him. “Don’t run away from me.” He growled. “We all have scars little one. Both inside and outside. I have my share of scars in case you can’t see them. I guess I just wasn’t expecting you to have been so injured by whatever had happened in your past.”

  Boo trembled in his arms.

He thrust his hips toward her wetness.

She groaned as she tipped her head back and closed her eyes. She began dry humping his hard cock and soon, it grew and burst out of the top of his boxers.

He could feel her wetness against his skin, so he tore his underwear away then ripped hers off her body. He lined up the tip of his cock to her core and thrust inside her.

She screamed as he tore through her innocence and

Kirill froze. “Oh little one, I’m sorry, I didn’t realize you were pure. Forgive me.” He groaned as he tried to pull out. “I would never hurt you, ever.”

She looked down at him with tears in her eyes and whispered, “I’ve never felt this need before, only with you, and I have a feeling this is going to be something I don’t want to miss.”

Kirill hesitated. He didn’t want to hurt her anymore but he couldn’t stop either. “I will make you forget the pain, malen'kiy.” Then he began to push inside her, in and out gently. He watched her face.

Soon, she had relaxed enough to begin to enjoy his rhythm, to feel pleasure again.

Boo caught and held his eyes, neither of them said a word but he could see the look on her face that told him she was finally with him and they were together as they raced up to the top of the abyss. He moved his one hand over to her clit and he began rubbing it slowly, teasingly.

Boo began whimpering with pleasure. “Oh my god, don’t stop, please don’t stop,” she begged. “This feels incredible.”

“Da, it does feel incredible.” He began thrusting faster and harder and he could feel her body respond. His own body was tight and almost ready to blow when Boo suddenly ached her back and cried out.

Her body clamped down on his as she threw her head back and screamed.

Kirill thrust deep inside her and flooded her with his seed. He roared as his release shot into her and his hands held her hips tight. It took a few minutes for them to come back down to earth and when Boo collapsed on to top of him, Kirill wrapped his huge arms around her and held her close. He wasn’t letting her go. Not now... maybe never.

With a huge sigh, Boo laid her face on his huge chest and felt the hair on his skin tickle her cheek. She ran her fingers across his chest and could feel his slight imperfections as well. She leaned up and looked carefully at his body.

He was huge but she knew that, but she finally studied his skin closely now. He had expanses of ink tattooed on him. Lifting her fingers, she traced the ink he wore. Both arms were covered with an intricate design. To some it might look like just one mass of black ink without a pattern of any kind, but the more Boo looked at it the more she could define the pattern.

“Your arms tell a story, don’t they?” she whispered. When she saw him nod, she whispered, “Will you tell me about this story, one day?”

Kirill didn’t answer, he wasn’t sure how. He still didn’t know his own name let alone anything about the life he led before he woke up yesterday.

Then her hand went to the edges of a red star on his chest. Her fingers trembled and she outlined the red ink. “I have a feeling this is important to you.”

“Da, I think it could be very important to me, almost as important as you could become.” He watched as her eyes snapped back to his and he held her gaze hostage for a long moment.

Then her eyes closed slowly. She hung her head and he could barely hear her whispered plea, “Please don’t hurt me. I have a feeling you could devastate my world.”

He leaned up and kissed her forehead. “I would never hurt you little one.”

Boo just stared back at him. She didn’t say a word but just stared at him.

  Chapter Five

  The night before....

Candyman stopped his ride and kicked down the kickstand. He shook his head, still not understanding what he’d found tonight. He didn’t know who that girl was but he did know she was Pride’s kid.

The four hour trip between here and where he’d left her, took way too long. He cut the long trip short by almost an hour but it didn’t help. He was afraid she would disappear again before he could get the news to his president.

They only had found out about her once before and then she had been a small child. No one knew it would take them almost twenty years to find her again. They never found either the kid or her mom, Joanie again.

Joanie had walked out on Pride when she demanded that he chose between her and Kings MC. The Kings of Wrath MC was Pride’s club, one he and two other brothers started twenty four years ago. Back then Pride, Cosmo and Banger thought they had something to prove and they did. They proved that not all bikers were bad and soon, they had two dozen other men willing to join them.

  Sure, they raised their
fair share of trouble but they never did anything illegal and back then, that fact set them apart from the other clubs. Even now, they ran several business around Jackson’s Landing. The people here knew them and respected them even.

Then Joanie showed up. She set her sights on Pride because she wanted the title of President’s Ole Lady but she found she couldn’t change the man himself and when she made him chose, he chose his brothers.

Joanie left, vowing to get him back and four years later, Pride found out how complete her revenge was. One day, he got a picture of his daughter in the mail. Even though she was only four years old, she had his coloring, both her hair and eyes were Pride’s color. Light blond and teal colored eyes. Pride wanted to meet her and Joanie agreed but she when the time came... she just never showed.

So for almost twenty years now, Candyman and his original crew still searched for Pride’s daughter. He’d never seen her again, so he wasn’t sure if she was dead or still alive somewhere out there, waiting for him to find her.

Candyman had been on his way back from a run when he spotted her on that lake. He hurried into the clubhouse and searching the main room, he finally found his president.

Pride sat in the corner alone as usual with a bottle of whiskey and a shot glass in front of him. His long blond mane tied back into a ponytail. He unusual green eyes staring into the shot glass.

When Candyman got closer, he could see the old photograph in front of Pride. The photo was weathered with age and the edges of it were ragged with the fingerprints Pride had put on it over the last eighteen years.

Candyman knew that when Pride had this photo out along with a whiskey bottle, to stay away from him. The brothers had all learned that lesson a long time ago but Candyman wanted him to know his search could be over.

Candyman approached the table in a slow steady gait.

A couple of the other brothers looked up and watched silently as Candyman made his way over to Pride’s table.

One of the brothers, Rage stepped in front of him a couple of steps away. He placed his hand on Candyman’s chest, “Tonight is not a good time.”
