“Knor, I want you,” I whispered. He lifted his head and held my gaze for a second to make sure. Then he moved my hands to the side so he could undo my pants and pull them off. Then he got rid of his bottoms and I took in the full size of his penis. He had length and girth.
“How long has it been since you’ve had a lover last?” he asked.
“Ah…” I couldn’t even begin to think back on the months. I know it’s just been a while. Knor bent and picked me up easily. He sat me down on the edge of the bed and opened my legs after sliding my panties off. He knelt between my legs and trailed kisses along both of my thighs. My vision blurred a little when his tongue slid between my folds. He sucked on my clitoris and rubbed the entrance of my sex with his finger before sliding it into me. I moaned, crying out at the pleasure that rippled through me.
He kept going until my legs shook and my sex clenched with my coming orgasm. I reached a hand towards him and he held it with his other as the orgasm crashed through me. Knor kissed my thighs before he stood up. I noted the bead of moisture at the tip of his cock as it strained up towards his bellybutton.
I moved back as Knor climbed over me and opened my legs to him. Slowly, he pushed into me completely.
“How do you feel?” he asked, his voice gruff.
“Good, keep going,” I said. He kissed me and started to rock his hips back and forth. I gripped his waist tight as he moved and slipped further and further from all sense of anything but Knor and the pleasure liquefying my body. My second orgasm seemed to go on forever. Knor groaned and cursed, his pace increasing until he found his own release.
He slid out of me slowly before collapsing onto his back. I was spent, my eyes were already closing.
“Aliya…” Knor traced his finger along the bridge of my nose. Just as I fell asleep.

I woke up beside Knor. He was lounging on the bed, shirtless, munching on a snack, watching the movie still playing in the background.
“How long was I asleep?” I mumbled.
“An hour,” he said. He glanced at me with a wide grin. “Hungry?” he asked.
“What are you eating?” I asked, stretching. I felt a twinge deep in my belly, where he’d been.
“Candied nuts. Would you like some?” he asked. I nodded and held out my hand, but he shook his head. He fed me one instead and slid down onto his side, so we were practically flush. I chewed slowly while he got another from the small bag. After he gave me a second, he followed it up with a kiss. I was sure a virile guy like Knor was ready to go again. But for me it had been a while so my recovery time was a bit longer.
Knor was about to feed me another one, when an alarm started to sound on the ship. He moved fast, hopping up from the bed and getting his clothes on.
“Knor, what is that?” I asked.
“Get dressed. Quickly,” he said in a clipped tone. I didn’t question him until I had my shoes on and he took my hand, pulling me towards the door.
“Knor…what does this alarm mean?” I asked.
“There’s an incoming threat,” he said. We were headed in the direction of the piloting hub.
“Like we’re going to run into a meteor, or there’s another ship out there?” I asked. Knor glanced at me while he got the hub doors open.
“Commander,” Vero called the room to attention. I glanced at a projected display on the view screen and saw one red dot nearing our course. We were nowhere near Bagar-1 yet. Whatever was pursuing us, we had to deal with it on our own.
“Have a seat Aliya,” Knor murmured. I went to one of the extra chairs and strapped in. Knor sat at the control desk with the other pilots.
“Have we identified the threat yet?” Knor asked.
“We’d have to slow down, or they’d have to catch up for us to get a proper scan of the ship,” Vero said.
“Obviously, they wish to catch us. What ship enters another’s warp path if not for one reason?” Knor asked. “Slow, but barely,” he said. I saw no change in the speed the stars moved around us, but I did notice the red dot getting closer on the radar. An image was enlarged on the screen, a clear image of what looked like a spacecraft made for speed. It was a lot smaller than ours.
Vero said something to Knor in native Bagarian tongue, I caught the word Corsov, then put a few phrases I knew together with that. The red dot after us were Corsovian ships. Knor got on the intercom and ordered two men to the rear gun station. He pointed to a couple of the secondary pilots to man the weapons controls on the piloting hub.
“This should be simple. It’s as we’ve all practiced in training flights. Evade and counter,” Knor said. I watched as the white enemy ship whizzed over us. “Evade,” Knor said. He gave the order before the Corsovians even started shooting. I glanced at him, staring wide eyed as he gave sure and steady orders to his men, evading every maneuver, as if he was clairvoyant. His instincts were incredible.
“Cripple the ship, then slow from warp immediately to pull it in,” Knor ordered. We maneuvered ourselves underneath the Corsovians and shot at them once. There was a faint deafening in my ears as the ship suddenly slowed down. Space stopped moving around us.
“Launching cables now Commander,” one of the pilots said. A minute later they began pulling in the damaged ship.
“What are you going to do?” I asked.
“See if there are prisoners to be taken in for questioning,” he said. Knor turned to me as I undid the straps holding me to the seat.
“Stay here for now please,” he said. I sighed as he passed me with a couple of his men.
“You can watch here if you like, Representative,” Vero said. He was still manning the control desk. I walked over to it and waited until I saw three men in tethered space suits leave the ship and float over to the Corsovian one. They used a laser saw to crack into the ship’s main hatch.
“Is Knor out there with them?” I asked.
“Of course not, but he is likely waiting for the team to return,” Vero said. I waited in suspense until I saw the team pull one person out of the ship in an extra space suit. His wrists were bound in tough metal cuffs and two of our guys had their arms looped through the Corsovians. I watched them near the ship until I couldn’t see them on the screen anymore. As soon as one of the pilots announced they were safely in the ship, I left the pilot hub.
They were bringing the Corsovian in just as I stepped onto the main deck. The Corsovian’s helmet had been removed and he was walking with a scowl. His skin was yellow, and he had two antennae like points at his temples. Other than that, he was humanoid just like the rest of us. His dark eyes flicked right to me and he actually growled. He tried to lunge at me, but Knor was suddenly between us.
“Get him to the holding bunk,” Knor said. “He’ll be imprisoned and questioned when we reach Bagar-1.”
The Corsovian was taken away and Knor took a deep breath, releasing it slowly. “This is dealt with, we shouldn’t come across anymore trouble,” he said.
“How do you know?” I asked.
“I have instincts about these things,” he said with a small smile.
“I saw…in there, it was like you were reading their minds or something,” I said.
“Are you alright?” he asked me.
“I’m fine, yeah…” I said. He nodded and caressed my arm lightly before stepping back towards the pilot bay.
“I’m going to get us back into warp,” he said. I watched him go, then took a seat near the big bookcase. How and why did the Corsovians come after this ship? Did they know I, specifically, was on board?
Knor found me about an hour later, I was just getting out of the shower and changing my clothes.
“We should be reaching Bagar-1 within the next twenty-four hours,” Knor said.
“Alright…do you think I can be there when the Corsovian is questioned? Just to listen to what he says,” I asked.
“Of course, it would be more than appropriate,” he said.
“Do you think he was after me?” I a
sked.
Knor studied my gaze for a moment and then nodded. “Yes, I believe he was.”

Knor and I didn’t really have time, nor were we in the mindset, to be all over each other again. I wanted to spend the rest of the trip getting ready to do my job on Bagar-1. Knor did have me sit with him in the pilot hub as we neared one of the two inhabited planets orbiting Bagar, their system’s main sun. There was another, smaller star, in the solar system making it a binary system, but that was all.
The ship landed in Westwind, it was the planet’s largest city and the planetary capital. As soon as the ship docked in the spaceport, scary looking Bagarian military guards came on board to escort the Corsovian off.
“Let me escort you off,” Knor said. A couple of the crew had gotten my bags for me and we exited the ship to meet two more Bagarian officials. I finally laid eyes on another woman. She was pale, with no purple tint to her skin like the other Bagarians, but it didn’t seem too uncommon. There’d been a few pale crew members on board as well. She was with a man who had the demeanor of a guard.
“Welcome Representative Horowitz. I’m Shae, I’ll be assisting you in anything you need during your stay here in Westwind,” she said. I liked her right off the bat, her demeanor was warm and she had alert green eyes. “This is Legrand, he’s our driver and security escort along with two others you’ll be meeting shortly,” she said.
“Wonderful, it’s good to meet you both. Ah, I’m sure you’ve heard of our little hiccup on the way from Earth?” I asked.
“Yes, Commander Knor has informed us that you’d like to observe the Corsovian during his questioning,” she said.
“Yes, that is correct,” I said.
“If we leave now, we can make it to the Intergalactic Detention Center in time,” Shae said.
“Wow, I love you already,” I said, making her smile.
“If we weren’t all good at our jobs we wouldn’t be here,” she said. The silent Legrand took my bags and started towards the exit. I glanced back at Knor before following.
“Are you coming?” I asked.
“I need to stay back to handle return protocols. You have my information in your phone, let me know where you’re staying, alright?” he said. I nodded and then turned to follow Shae and Legrand.
“Is Legrand usually…”
“Yes, he has a unique personality,” Shae chuckled. We followed Legrand to the private pick-up area where two guards stood in wait by the exit. When they saw him, they took my bags, loaded them into a sleek black transport that hovered just above the ground, and opened the doors for Shae and me to get in. Within two minutes we were on the way to the detention center.
“So, who do you think will oversee interrogating the Corsovian?” I asked Shae.
“High General Waylen will likely accompany you in observing the interrogation. One of the prison’s commanding officers will interrogate the prisoner directly,” she said.
“Oh…alright then,” I said. I took a deep breath and centered myself a little. I wasn’t scheduled to meet High General Waylen until the following day. But things like that happen. I had to be ready to meet him in a matter of minutes and hoped to make a good impression.

The I.D.C. was a high-tech facility. The building was shaped as an octagon and built from military grade black steel. Just getting into the detention center in an official capacity, we had to go through a couple of vehicle checks, then Shae and I had to stop at three different security checkpoints inside.
“This place is…very secure,” I said.
“Well, it has to be. Many prisoners here come from not only this solar system, but from the neighboring Avanthian System as well,” Shae explained. “Avanthians are notorious for their cunning. On Earth you have the saying, ‘where there’s a will there’s a way’. It is not just a saying for Avanthians,” she added.
A prison official escorted us to an interrogation room’s viewing area. It was spacious, holding a conference table that ran the length of the long one-way window separating us from the still sour looking Corsovian. Though, I supposed he had every reason to be sour for the rest of his life. Common galactic law mandated that he’d be locked away for good after his attempt to attack my transport ship.
Shae and I were soon joined by four more men. All were tall and well built, but one of them had something about the way he held himself…that made him physically intimidating. Oddly enough, I found him extremely attractive. His hair was pitch black, shoulder length, and his features were chiseled, as if he was cut from marble. His eyes were gorgeous, the color of moonlight reflecting off water, and his skin was just a shade more purple than Knors.
“Representative Horowitz, this is High General Waylen,” Shae said. Waylen’s gaze sharpened on me and the intensity of his stare caused butterflies to take flight in my belly.
“Representative, what an interesting turn of events it is to meet you here,” he said. His voice was cultured and smooth. I mentally shook myself and gave a polite smile.
“To say the least. It’s good to finally meet you High General,” I said. He inclined his head, then turned to face the glass. I felt as if I’d been dismissed by him and just like that my attraction dampened and reality resettled around me. Shae quickly introduced me to a few of the other prison officials who came in with the high general. I took a seat with her near the far left of the table and waited for the interrogation to start.
A minute later, an officer entered the room with the Corsovian and everyone listened closely.
“Good evening, I’m Officer Yew. Can we agree to have a cooperative interview without aggression and in all manner of civility?” he asked.
“Fine,” the Corsovian growled. Yew asked his name, and he gave it in Corsovian tongue, that along with his gruff voice, made it impossible for me to catch.
“Let’s start with why you aggressively pursued an official Bagarian transport while in warp?” Yew asked.
“Orders. They did not want the transport to reach Bagar-1,” he said.
“They?”
“My government,” the Corsovian answered.
“What quarrel does Corsov have with Bagar-1?” Yew asked.
“We knew that transport carried a human representative looking to gain military aid from Bagar-1,” he said. “My orders were to destroy the transport, so that would not be achieved in time,” he said. My eyebrows rose in surprise, he was unnecessarily forthcoming. Though, it wasn’t like he had anything to lose, or gain.
“How would your government know of the specific transport carrying a human representative?” Yew asked. The Corsovian shrugged. It seemed that was all he was giving up.
“It’s obvious. Earth has Corsovian spies in its midst,” High General Waylen said in Bagarian tongue, though I was sure he thought I wouldn’t understand. He was annoyed, his tone sounded borderline disgusted. I glanced at him with a sharp expression, but he wasn’t looking my way. Yew tried to circle the Corsovian into giving him all the answers he wanted, but the man wasn’t just a meathead sent to carry out orders. He knew what had to be kept secret.
“This would be unheard of in a planet with proper, vetted, institutions for intergalactic affairs,” Waylen said.
“Excuse me, High General?” I addressed him directly.
“Even you must admit Representative, there are alien spies on Earth,” he said. “In my opinion, your planet jumped into space exploration and diplomacy before you were ready,” he said. “It’s why you’re here now, calling for help in the face of an invasion,” he added. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing from him.
“I think I’ve heard all that I need to here. Perhaps you’ll be a bit more diplomatic come our appointment tomorrow morning High General,” I said. Shae and I stood at the same time to leave and we were promptly escorted out by the same officer who had guided us in. I was fuming, I couldn’t believe what I’d just heard back there.
We got back to the transport and were on our way to th
e hotel I’d be staying at. I had an itinerary, but hadn’t had a chance to look at it. I’d have to let Knor know where I was when I got checked in. “If it is any consolation Representative, High General Waylen usually has a…severe disposition,” Shae offered.
“It should be interesting to try and get military aid out of him,” I mumbled.
“I’m sure the rest of Earth’s representatives have faith in your abilities to do so,” Shae said.
“Thanks Shae…I just hope I can deliver. This is life or death for my people. The very nature of our race depends on independence. I hope this isn’t just politics to the high master and high general,” I said.
“From what I know, the high master is willing to send aid to Earth. His decisions are largely based off the opinions of the public. But the decision is ultimately up to High General Waylen,” Shae said. Right…I’d always hated having to be the one to be the bigger person. Since I was a woman, that was often expected of me automatically. Otherwise I wouldn’t have gotten where I was in my career. Up until now, I’d always come across people with modern decency and respect. Negotiating with Waylen was going to be the ultimate test of my patience, I felt it.

The hotel I was put up in was ornate and really, really nice. Not to mention, my room was covered as well as room service fees and complementary services. I knew I’d be stressed after days of hassling with High General Waylen and his attitude, I’d definitely use the hotel’s bar and spa a few times. Once I was settled in my suite, I called Knor.
“Hey, it’s me,” I said when he answered.
“There you are. I was beginning to think you’d gotten confused with one of the prisoners and were locked away forever,” he said. I smiled.
