Virginal Valentine Page 3

Drying my hands, I nodded toward the living room and asked, “The couch?”

  Missy furrowed her brow.

With all my might, I tried to switch my offer to return to the table, but I couldn’t. The table was where you entertained someone you were ready to get rid of, or where you’d meet to discuss business, or where you stayed formal. We had to be past that.

Missy fished through a drawer and pulled out two decks of cards, her smile wavering. “How about a game?”

“Sure.” Luckily, I loved games. Nothing difficult about a game except it would force us not to touch each other, unless I could talk her into Twister… Naked Twister. And I feared the conclusion of the game would be the conclusion of our evening, all that she’d offered when we set the date up.

Regardless of how soon the evening ended, I would be ecstatic for every second I had with her. Pent up… a distinct possibility. Blue balls… practically a guarantee. Eager to see her again… certainly. And I would keep seeing her one day at a time until she agreed to be mine forever.

“How about Double Solitaire?” Hesitation filled her words.

Interesting game choice. Separate but together, kind of the way Missy appeared to view our date. Was she worried if I’d like her choice, or what would happen if I insisted on a different kind of entertainment? “It’s been a while since I played that, but okay.”

We shuffled our decks and arranged the cards in their proper piles. Her pace slowed to meet mine and she grinned.

“Be gentle,” I teased and winked.

She bowed her head but not before I saw a smile curl the edges of her lips.

The deep breath I reflexively took to restrain myself caught her attention.

Her knuckles blanched and she cleared her throat. Looking at me from under her lashes, she stuttered, “R-Ready?”

“I’m always ready for…cards. Yeah, let’s play.” I barely caught myself. Her bashful demeanor tempted me beyond belief, more than the women who threw themselves at me.

Laughing on the inside at the idea of unwanted affection, I was so ready to claim Missy’s virginity I could barely think straight enough to put cards in numerical order, much less alternate black and red. The opportunity to be the only man in her life, ever, weighed heavily.

When she got stumped on a play, she bit the fingernail on her index finger and made sweet sounds like humming a song or something.

I tried to be as inconspicuous as possible while watching her. Did she realize she was making those sounds… and driving me crazy?

Her hands stilled and her gaze lifted to mine.

  I froze.

Long strands of brown hair draped over her cheeks and framed her face. The simplicity of her matching brown hair and brown eyes fit her perfectly.

Her beauty, her sweetness, her innocence… she captured my heart.

“We’re stuck.” Her voice was breathy.

“I’ll never feel stuck with you.” Weak, addicted, complete… there were a million things Missy stirred in me, but stuck wasn’t one of them.

She dropped her gaze and haphazardly crammed the cards together. “The game was stuck.”

Sitting back and waiting wasn’t my strong suit. Cupping her slender hands in mine, I forced her to stop messing with the cards. “Missy, don’t be afraid of me.”

Tilting her head lower, her bangs hid her face. “It’s not that.”

The shakiness of her words broke my heart. I would never hurt her. A slight shift of positioning and I was holding her hands. Had someone hurt her? Anger raged through me. Is that why she was reserved? If that was the case, I had one more reason to be thankful her virginity was intact. “You can tell me anything. I won’t judge you. And if you’re worried about the sex thing, I won’t pressure you into anything you don’t want.”

A tiny squeeze from her hands relaxed my tension. She lifted her head but quickly diverted her gaze. Her tongue darted out, licking her lips, making me question my ability to hold back.

But I would. I’d do anything for her. I’d loved her from afar for so long I had to remind myself to give her time to catch up.

Looking me directly in the eyes, she caught me off guard. Something had changed in her. Desire flowed between us. No words, nothing more than our hands touching. Her mouth dropped open slightly and her breaths became heavy enough to be noticeable.

Lust crawled through my body, my balls tightened, my dick stiffened. I had to be prepared to stop at any moment, this hint of permission couldn’t be taken for granted or pushed past what it meant. Only I didn’t know the limit. Each heartbeat crashed into my ribcage like it was taking me a footstep closer to hell. “Missy—”

“Ty, I want you to kiss me.”

I bolted from my chair, leaning over the table, wrapping my hands around her head, and sealed my lips onto hers. Soft but not idle.

She kissed me with the hunger of someone who’d waited far too long for the right relationship. But thank god she had.

I pressed the tip of my tongue against her lips and she eagerly accepted me.

The reserved façade gave way to her hands running up my arms, over my shoulders, into my hair.

Giving up my efforts to hide my erection, I rushed around the table and lifted her.

The pressure of her arms encircling my neck, keeping her lips tight against mine, sent signals through my body I’m not sure she fully understood. I hadn’t even thought of another woman since seeing Missy for the first time, and being inside of her tight pussy seemed long overdue. I needed to love-fuck her. Would she understand making love to someone so hard it looked more like a lust-filled fuck? Would she hate me?

Moans mingled with her kisses as I sat us on the couch with her on my lap.

Leaving the light off, only a trickle of light from the dining room illuminated her skin. It was enough for me and I hoped the darkness gave her the sensation of privacy. I was going to take as much as she would give. Nothing more. Her satisfaction would always come first.

Her body pressed against mine, her clothed ass rode my cock, and the flawless rhythm of our kisses made me feel like a king. Walking me to a treasured place, she relinquished her trust to me.

Slipping a hand under her shirt, I cupped her breast.

  Her moans deepened.

My core ached despite understanding not to expect a homerun. Toying with her beaded nipple through her bra, I couldn’t wait to get my mouth on it, but she’d been too shy, I wasn’t going to strip her just yet.

Trying to let her feel as normal as possible, but also empowered, I wouldn’t make her say exactly what she was and wasn’t comfortable with. For someone as timid as her, intimate confessions could be humiliating. I lowered a hand to her thigh. Rubbing along her leg, I tested, letting my thumb skim closer and closer to her sex.

She rocked her hips, helping advance the contact.

Sweet Jesus, I was going to give her an orgasm. Was I the first? The possibility of any other guy pleasing her fueled my protective inclinations. I couldn’t change it if there had been another, but I was damn sure going to give her the best orgasm of her life. And since she was sitting on my lap, any other guy had been lacking.

Unable to resist, I pressed her leg outward and slid my hand up her leggings toward her cunt. Without a doubt, I expected her core to be on fire, but soaked through her clothes… fuck… my cock twitched, nearly giving in to its own orgasm.

Even though I wasn’t going to release inside of her tonight, I wasn’t going to come before her either. Trust was precious, and I couldn’t risk coming across as a pervert.

The delicious scent of her sex dominated every sensation my body was attempting to process. My nerve endings ignited.

Pausing my fingers, I summoned every bit of strength to keep from losing it in my pants.

With a modest amount of control, I inched my fingers down her wet clothing. Her panties had to be drenched. The promise of her cream-soaked curls had my mouth watering.

I was losing a battle she
seemed oblivious to as she feasted on our kiss and worked my lap in a way that should be limited to overt sex acts.

Tucking my fingers inside her waistband, I spoke through our kiss. “Baby, you okay with this?”

“Yes,” The whimpered answer was like a wrecking ball to my firm limit of keeping my dick in my pants.

The demons in me clamored with excitement that she might want to go all the way even if I’d promised myself only to ring the devil’s doorbell. If she’d waited this long, she could wait one more day. I couldn’t take advantage of the heat of the moment and risk her regretting it.

Dropping my lips to her neck, I gave her a breather. It was important she be fully aware of everything I was doing to her.

Inching my fingers into her pants and her panties, I found her wetness and purposefully kept my fingers from slipping between her lips.

Her cream coated my entire hand and her intoxicating scent filled the room. She was so wet it would have seemed wrong to deny her if she asked for more.

With gentle pressure I rubbed her mound.

She squeezed her legs together and tilted her hips.

I increased my motion against her pressure.

Convinced she was one-hundred percent in, I teased two fingers between her lips and found her clit.

Missy gasped and her body lurched.

“You like me touching you there, baby?” Fucking hell, I couldn’t wait to get her off.

“Uh huh. We shouldn’t.” The answer was more sigh than words. Her fingers dug into my skin. She was clinging to me for dear life.

“Do you want me to stop?” Nuzzling her neck, I nipped at her softness and lost myself in the way she bunched her shoulder to her cheek trapping me in between.

  Her head shook.

Circling my finger over her clit, I found her sweet spot. The temptation to dive into her pussy taunted me, but that would have to be a step for another time. I couldn’t overrun my invitation. And as much as I craved knowing how tight she was, I was saving that for my cock.

Heavy breaths escalated as her body rushed toward climax.

My balls tightened, ready to crash over the edge with her while my hand caused her to shift back and forth over my erection. I wanted to be inside of her so bad I nearly lost sight of how important it was to take my time.

“Ty, this is so wrong. Ty.”

I begged to differ and wasn’t about to stop.

I tilted my head back and watched in the dim light as her eyelids fluttered shut. Her head dropped back and her mouth hung open, frenzied breaths heaving her chest.

“That’s right, baby, come for me.”

  “Yes, oh god. Ty.”

“I love you.” The whispered words came out of my mouth at the exact moment her orgasm elicited long, intense moans and her body contracted over and over again.

I clamped my mouth shut and focused on making sure every shred of pleasure was milked from her climax… and wondered if she’d heard me?

Longer, slower motions over her clit let her down from the high.

She snuggled against me and I dragged my hand up her torso, resting it on her shoulder, inches from my nose.

If there had been any way to suck her honey from my fingers without being crass, I would have done it. And I already knew I’d sniff my fingers while I got myself off later, but she wasn’t ready to understand the level of hunger my soul had for her.

Working the button of my jeans, she was going to return the act but I didn’t want her to do it out of obligation.

Gripping her hand, I gave her an out. “I can wait.”

  Chapter 6

  Ty

The tension in her fingers dissipated, confirming my suspicion we’d reached her limit. I brought her fingers to my lips and kissed them, taking in her soft skin and her scent that was still heavy on my hand.

Wrapping my arms around her, my life had found its purpose.

After being lost in our world, she brought me to the moment by tracing a finger up my arm, barely guiding it under the sleeve of my shirt.

“Do you only have tattoos on one arm?” Her tiny voice broke the silence.

“Want me to take my shirt off so you can find out, or have you had enough fun for one night?”

A giggle. “You better tell me.”

Thank fuck I’d made the right choice and held back, not pushing her too far. “Only on my right arm.”

  “Why?”

“It started as a mini-rebellion. Turned into a test. Now it’s a reminder.”

“A rebellion? Aren’t doctors supposed to walk the straight and narrow?”

“Should we flip the light on so you can get a look at me? A sleeve of tats, facial hair, bald, Hispanic… not exactly your normal doctor.”

“I’ve definitely noticed all of that. Might be what attracted me to you.” She ran her fingers over my beard. “So, what was your rebellion?”

“Don’t get your hopes up, I said it was a mini-rebellion.” I would have rather talked about her, but after the way she opened herself to me, I needed to open up to her.

She rolled her eyes. “Are you going to tell me, or not?”

“Fine. My parents were good people, but incredibly driven. Everything had to be perfect, stiflingly perfect. They relentlessly reminded me how hard they worked to get respect. As soon as I went to college, I got a tattoo and it pissed my parents off. They tossed out every warning from getting AIDS to not being able to get a respectable job.” I tugged my sleeve up and pointed to the first one, a compass.

She shifted on my lap and turned my shoulder to get better light.

“I have no idea if I got the second one because I was already addicted, or because it was a direct act of defiance against my parents, thus the mini-rebellion.” I dragged my finger over the landscape and stars addition.

“You kind of made the compass the moon for the landscape.” She said while studying it.

“Yeah, I got a loose idea for the whole arm, worked on it with the artist to craft a better version than my stick figure drawings, then added one piece at a time.”

  “What did your parents say?”

“Despite me continuing to keep a 4.0 GPA, they advised me to wear long sleeves all the time. For my own good, of course.”

“I’m glad you don’t always wear long sleeves.” Missy wrapped her hand around my upper arm. “And you said it turned into a test?”

“Maybe my cockiness was in full swing but I was determined to prove I could have tattoos and be successful.”

“Guess you proved your point, Dr. Torres.”

“No. They were quick to decide every step in my career could have been faster, easier, or better if I didn’t look like a gang-banger.”

  “They’re not proud of you?”

“That’s the last part, the reminder. They’re proud of me, but they’re scared. If I’m not at the hospital wearing the white coat and stethoscope, they worry people will assume I’m a drug dealer.”

She laughed. “Since you’re a doctor, you get to deal drugs legally.”

  “Probably wouldn’t console them.”

“Sorry, do you have plans for the other arm?”

“No, that’s the other part of the reminder. There are two sides to everything, everyone. Something as simple as whether someone sees my right arm or left can affect which stereotype they throw at me.”

“Like your parents being proud and upset at the same time.”

  “Yeah.”

Missy covered a yawn with her hand. “Don’t even get me started on stereotypes though, ugh, like everyone presuming quiet people are boring.”

I couldn’t help but smile. “You’re not boring.”

“Even though I didn’t want to go clubbing or to some big party or concert?” She yawned again.

Thoughts of carrying her to bed and slipping in beside her filled my mind but were met with a self-imposed reminder it wouldn’t be happening tonight. With Missy in my life, I didn’t need any of the fancy stuff. She was everyt
hing. Probably a bit much to throw at her on our first date but my dick stirred and I worried if I didn’t leave I’d ask for too much. “Can I be totally honest with you?”

“Have you been interlacing lies through the evening?”

I shook my head, gave her a peck on the forehead and hugged her tighter. Saying goodnight was going to be a test of willpower. “Not like that, more like a note of caution.”

“Honesty’s the best policy, right?” Her body stiffened.

“I didn’t want you to think it was weird if I said tonight’s been my best date ever even though I’ve clearly bored you since you’re yawning.” My honesty was supposed to put her at ease but she didn’t relax.

In a soft voice, she said, “I doubt it.”

Tucking a finger under her chin, I brought her face up. I had to make sure she was paying attention. “Honest.”

“But we didn’t…” She pursed her lips like she was afraid to say the words.

I’d say them, take away the power they had over her. “Sex doesn’t make a date perfect.”

She huffed but a smile graced her lips. “But it makes it better.”

“Hey, I said this was my best date ever, no frills, just you. As close to perfect as a date’s ever been for me.”

  Her smile appeared forced.

My forwardness clearly made her uneasy, damnit. I had to plan ahead for Valentine’s Day. “Okay, how about this. I’m going to head home, but are you busy in two days? I’ll bring dinner and we’ll hang out again.”

  “What about tomorrow?”

“I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want to take up all of your time. Are you sure you can handle me three days in a row?”

She tapped her lip and I was fairly certain she was pretending to mentally check her schedule.

I studied her expression. Would she catch on that Valentine’s Day was in two days?

  “I’m free.”

Lifting her as I stood, I kissed her before setting her feet on the ground. “Great. I can’t wait until tomorrow.”
