Judge McDonald stepped up next. “As a sitting judge for the State of California, I can tell you with certainty that you will be found in violation.”
“Oh so what! Even if I did it, and I’m not saying I did, breaking an NDA isn’t a crime.”
“Not in a criminal court, no. But fortunately for us, my firm and I handle multi-million dollar civil law suits as our bread and butter. I hope you’re ready to lose every single possession that is important to you, Ms. Garcia. When I finish with you, you’ll be lucky to be able to afford a bicycle and a studio apartment on Skid Row.”
Finally realizing the gravity of her situation, hard-as-nails Lola turned on the water works. Chase almost felt sorry for Lola. Almost. Then he remembered that she had tried to ruin the only wedding day he would ever have.
Jaxson stepped forward, edging past Connor, Ryder, and Miguel to stand in front of the now crying woman. Lola was stupid enough to take his arrival as a reprieve.
“You believe me, don’t you, Jaxson? All I’ve ever done has been for you.”
Jaxson took a deep breath. When he spoke, he barely contained his anger. “I should have fired you weeks ago like Chase and Emma asked me to. I will always regret giving you the opportunity to almost ruin my wedding day. And for the record, you do nothing for anyone but yourself. We’re going to dig into your financials. Not only will you lose when we sue you for breach of the NDA contract, but we’re going to uncover every piece of dirt you’d rather keep hidden and we’ll shine a nice big spotlight on it. I’ll make it my life’s mission to make sure you won’t work in this state ever again. And we’ll have a restraining order within twenty-four hours to make sure you can’t come anywhere close to the property ever again.” He paused, stepping even closer until they were only an inch apart. “Consider yourself lucky you aren’t leaving here in the back of a police car, Ms. Garcia.”
Jax had turned to tell Miguel to escort her off the property when Lola pulled her head back and threw her head forward, trying to head butt Jaxson. Chase shouted out to his new husband and Jaxson was able to move enough that Lola’s head rammed against his shoulder instead. Instead of stopping her, she fought to free herself from the handcuffs security had put her in, flailing while screaming with fury.
Miguel and his men made easy work out of regaining control. All her temper tantrum had done was seal her fate.
Connor spoke loudly. “Jaxson, the ball is in your court. Would you like to press charges for assault? We have over a half dozen witnesses that she attacked you. We could turn this civil case into a criminal case now.”
“What?” Lola shrieked. “I’m handcuffed. I didn’t hurt him.”
Ryder grinned. “I don’t know. Davidson can be a real pretty boy at times. I bet you could have done some damage.”
Jaxson’s side glance shot daggers at their friend. “Helms, you can be a real asshole, you know that?”
Ryder chuckled. “Yeah, but you like me anyway.”
Lola was crying in earnest now, realizing she’d made a major mistake getting physical with so many hostile witnesses.
Jaxson got in her face again, almost daring her to head-butt him again. When she didn’t, he gave the final orders. “As much as I would love seeing you driven away in the back of a police car, I don’t need the kind of scrutiny that a public police report would bring. So consider this your severance package. I’m going to let Miguel’s team escort you to your car and then drive you to the gate. You will never again come within a mile of this property. Connor and his firm will be in touch with details on the consequences of breaking the NDA. If you’re lucky, it will just cost you the money you took to sell out my family and me. Be warned. If you continue to shop our secrets to the highest bidder, we won’t stop until you have nothing left to lose.” He never took his eyes off Lola as he added, “Get her the hell out of here.”
After Lola and the security team were gone, the remaining occupants of the balcony took a moment to take a collective deep breath. As their leader, everyone waited for Jaxson to turn. When he did, he glanced from person to person, nodding his silent thanks for how they’d helped handle the explosive situation.
“Thank you, all. Truly. As angry as I am that her actions interrupted our wedding, I couldn’t be happier with how quickly everyone took action to make things right. Chase, Emma, and I… well… we owe you.”
Ryder stepped forward, never afraid to go head to head with anyone, not even Jaxson. “Yeah, well, being a pretty boy and all, we all knew you’d need a little help.”
Jax gave Ryder his best glare. “Pretty boy, eh? You’re a real prick, you know that, Helms?”
Ryder chuckled. “Yep, guilty as charged. Now, are we going to finish this wedding or are you gonna use this interruption as your get out of jail free card?”
Chase used that as his cue to link his arm through Jaxson’s and start pulling him back towards the stairs. “Believe me, he’s not getting away from Emma and me. He’s stuck with us. Now let’s go finish the ceremony so we can get the party started.”
Chapter Seventeen ~ Jaxson
“My feet are killing me. I can’t wait to get upstairs and take my shoes off.” Emma winced as the newlyweds walked the long corridor from the ballroom, winding through the ground floor of the mansion, heading towards the grand foyer. After the disruption in the wedding, the rest of the ceremony, dinner, and reception had been picture perfect.
Jaxson smiled inwardly. Both Chase and Emma thought they were heading towards the grand staircase that would wind them upstairs to one of the newly renovated guest rooms that would soon be available for rent by their VIP guests… for a tidy profit of course. Jaxson had one final surprise gift for his new husband and wife.
When they got to the front foyer, Jaxson stopped them from heading upstairs. “We’re not going upstairs. Let’s go outside instead.”
He didn’t miss the disappointment on Emma’s face. He knew she had to be exhausted. Even though it wasn’t that late, it had been a long and eventful day. Not wanting her to overexert herself, Jaxson moved forward, scooping her up into his arms as she squealed.
“Put me down! I’m too heavy!” she cried out as she squirmed to be put down.
The men’s eyes met as they both recognized her broken rule. With his arms full, Jaxson couldn’t do anything about it. Luckily, Chase could. He moved closer and quickly deposited three fast swats to their wife’s wedding-gown-covered ass.
“I can’t believe you put yourself down on your wedding day,” Chase admonished. “You are a gorgeous bride who is absolutely perfect.”
“Owie. I can’t believe you did that in the middle of the foyer where anyone can see us,” she complained.
Jaxson smiled down at her adorable pout. “Honey, that argument might fly tomorrow, but absolutely every person on the property at this moment knows the true nature of our relationship so you don’t get to play the innocent tonight.”
“Fine, but I really am tired.” She paused, a naughty smile on her lips. “I thought you guys would be as anxious to get upstairs to go to bed as I am. I mean it is our wedding night, after all.”
Jaxson agreed, “Oh, baby, I’m more than ready to get behind closed doors with just the three of us. I just have one more small surprise is all.”
Chase had opened the door for Jaxson to step out onto the front porch, still carrying Emma in his arms, bride style. The driver was there waiting at the bottom of the stairs with a black Town Car just as he’d ordered.
It was Chase who questioned him next. “We’re actually gonna drive somewhere tonight?”
“Just get in, will you? You are both taking all the fun out of my surprise with your complaining.”
Once they were all seated in the back seat, the driver took off, rounding the massive circular drive and heading towards the exit to the property.
Emma’s yawn made Jaxson grateful the trip would be short.
Chase pulled their bride into his lap. “Come here, Em. You can use my shoulder as a pi
llow until we get wherever Jax is taking us. I just hope it isn’t back to the rental. It’s going to be a little hard to have any playtime fun with your parents in the room next to ours.”
Jaxson smiled when both his lovers closed their eyes for the drive. About half way back to the main gate of the property, the driver turned down the private one-lane road that jutted off the grand drive. He stopped to insert the security card Jaxson had given him into the electronic gate and a minute later, the driver pulled the car up to the back entrance to their new house.
“Okay, we’re here,” Jaxson announced, unable to hide his excitement.
He watched Chase and Emma as their eyes flew open. “Already? We barely…”
Jaxson reached his hand out to them. “We’re home. Ted brought in an extra crew to get the house ready to move in tonight so we could spend our wedding night in our new bedroom.”
The driver exited the car and came to the door next to Chase. As the door opened, the interior of the car was washed with light and Jaxson got a good look at the love shining his way from both Chase and Emma.
He was surprised to see tears in Emma’s eyes, as she asked, “So no more rental? We really are home?”
Jaxson had known she was unhappy in the temporary housing. She wasn’t a diva when it came to physical possessions so he hadn’t figured out why she hadn’t been happy in the small house a few miles away. But if the joy in her eyes was any indication, she was truly thrilled to be moving into their new home.
Jaxson reached out to take her hand, loving the feel of her wedding ring on her fourth finger.
“We really are home, baby. Well, just one of our homes anyway. I just hope you are happier here than you were at the rental.”
She swished the one tear from her cheek that got away from her.
The men stayed seated, sensing that they needed Emma to finally explain to them why she was so anxious to get settled. It took her a few long seconds before she could put her feelings into words.
“There’s nothing wrong with the rental. Not really. It’s just… I stupidly associated that house with the start of all of our communication problems. I know it’s silly. But we moved there within a couple days of me finding out about the pregnancy. We all made so many mistakes. We fell apart there. Maybe it’s superstitious, but I’m anxious to move into our new home together and have things get back to normal again.”
Her reasoning was sound, yet Jaxson was a bit more of a realist. He knew the ranch house had jack-shit to do with their problems. He’d taken his eye off what as most important and that was to blame for their brief breakdown in communication. Like he promised in the ceremony in front of their closest friends and family that afternoon, he would spend the rest of his life making sure he never let something like that happen again to his family.
He smiled, reaching up to cup her cheek softly as he reassured her, “Baby, that’s what today is all about… fresh starts… as a real family. Now let’s go inside and get our wedding night started, shall we?”
Chase pulled Emma away from Jaxson as he turned to exit the open car door, calling back to Jaxson, “Enough talk! We have a date with our new bed.”
Jaxson chuckled at his new husband’s apparent glee. He got out his side of the car and met his lovers as he reached for the keycard to unlock the door. The lighting was dim so he couldn’t see Chase’s face as he reminded his husband, “You have a date with my paddle first, young man, before you’re going to make it to our bed.”
Chase’s tortured groan at the reminder was one part dread and two parts sexual excitement. “Yes, sir.”
His submissive reply revved up Jaxson’s libido a notch higher as he opened the door and the ambient lighting automatically came on.
The trio stopped just inside the door to look around the space.
The sexual tension was growing, each of them anxious for the consummation of the vows they’d made to each other earlier that day. Jaxson used his best Dom voice to take charge. “Ted warned not everything is completely move in ready, but our bedroom and the master bath is ready to go. You two go ahead of me. I’m going to grab some food and drinks for us from the kitchen and I’ll be there in five minutes. When I arrive, I want you both still fully dressed, standing at the end of the bed and waiting for your next instructions.”
Their practiced “Yes, sir,” was in unison. Like always, their submission warmed him from the inside out. His heart physically ached as he watched the two people he loved more than anything else in the world walking hand-in-hand towards their bedroom.
It only took a couple of minutes to fill the tray he assumed Ted had left on the counter with chilled water, several bottles of craft beers, apple juice, and the cheese and cracker tray with a bow on it in the refrigerator. He knew their housekeeper, Nalani, was responsible for the delivery of the limited food items. They’d need to find a grocery store the next day, but he was grateful for her thoughtfulness.
A fission of excitement coursed through Jaxson as he approached their new master suite. The day was flying by too fast. He wanted this special day… and night… to last. It would be the only wedding night they’d ever have. And as tired as they all were, he didn’t want to rush the planned scene he’d been looking forward to all day.
Pushing the door open with the wooden tray, the sight that met him took his breath away. Jax paused, watching undetected as Emma and Chase swayed to non-existent music as they held each other close, slow-dancing, letting their hands roam over each other’s bodies as they waited for Jaxson.
“I see you’ve started without me,” he teased as he moved farther into the room.
His lovers didn’t stop swaying. Chase simply lifted his right hand from Emma’s lower back and used it to beckon to Jaxson to join them. It was such a simple gesture, but in that moment, Jaxson recognized how damn lucky they all were that they had found a way to form this complicated love into something that was somehow perfectly balanced. They may have lost their way for a few weeks, but they’d come through it stronger than ever before.
Jax put the tray down on top of the bed’s white comforter before joining Chase and Emma. Like puzzle pieces that had been assembled many times, their bodies molded together in a tangled embrace.
No one spoke for several long minutes. No words were needed. Their embrace spoke for itself. The small caresses, increasingly assertive gropes, shortening of breaths, and occasional sighs were all the best kind of foreplay. After a wonderfully chaotic day, it was exactly what each of them needed.
Jaxson knew it was time to move to the next phase of their wedding night when Emma started to fade on them. She had thankfully not felt nauseous all day, but he knew she hadn’t eaten right and that she wouldn’t be up for a long play session.
Pulling their embrace apart, Jax stepped back, taking a moment to look around the room. It was in better order than he’d hoped. Ted may be an asshole in many ways, but he genuinely did understand the style the trio had been looking for and he’d delivered on it. Jax glanced back at the oversized king bed, noting the unique head and footboards that would double as restraint equipment on future nights.
The long backless couch at the end of the bed was even better than he’d hoped. The white leather would be easy to clean and the extra tall padded armrests at each end were the perfect height to bend a naughty submissive over to receive a punishment. Adding the hidden straps that would also restrain an errant sub had cost a pretty penny, but he planned on getting a lot of use out of the unique piece of furniture, starting tonight.
Looking back at the loves of his life, he barked his first order. “You both have too many clothes on.” He sat down on the bench at the end of the bed and added, “Stand over by the fireplace and start undressing each other. I want to watch.”
Chase pulled Emma the few feet away and did a bit of his own dominating. Spinning her to face the stone fireplace, he instructed, “Hands up on the mantle, baby.”
Once she was stretched out, he slowly started to unzip her l
ong dress, leaning in to place sexy kisses down her back as her milky skin came into view. Jaxson had to hand it to Chase. He was doing an excellent job of unwrapping their best wedding present of the day.
As the two halves of Emma’s designer gown fell apart, Chase slipped his hands in her dress, reaching around to cup her full breasts, squeezing hard enough to get a pained moan.
“Let’s get this bra off next, shall we?”
Jax watched Chase undress Emma, his own cock thickening with each new body part exposed in front of him. He popped open a bottle of beer, taking a drag as he lounged, watching the show as Chase pulled Emma back so that he could push the dress off her shoulders to pool at their feet. The white lacy bra hit the floor seconds later. Her white hose and garter belt showcased her perfectly curvy ass that was barely covered by the tiny French cut panties.
When Chase reached to undo Emma’s garter belts Jaxson intervened. “Leave on the hose and heels,” he instructed before moving on to give Chase his next orders. “Hands back on the mantle, Em. Chase is going to spank that beautiful ass of yours to give it a bit of color.”
Jaxson’s erection ached for attention inside his tuxedo pants. With steely self-control, he leaned back to leisurely swig his beer and enjoy one of his favorite forms of foreplay… watching Chase dominate Emma. As expected, the spanking was light enough to draw mews of arousal from their girl while tenting the front of Chase’s tuxedo pants with his own growing length.
“I’m not sure which turns me on more. The pink of Emma’s ass peeking out from below her panties or that bad boy perfectly filling out your pants, Chase.”
Chase glanced back at Jaxson, for the first time showing a fission of anxiety. “I’m just glad it isn’t the thought of my coming punishment that has you the most turned on.”
Jaxson reached to cup his family jewels through his pants, trying to relieve the ache Chase’s words caused between his own legs. It took all of his self-control to keep from rushing to his lovers and sticking his rock-hard shaft into the first available hole he found.
