As Spike lifted the gun to his head, Cobra ducked and pushed the desk at him. The gun flew out of Spike’s hand as the desk nearly knocked him over. Summersaulting over the desk, Cobra punched Spike in the throat. Spike grabbed at his arm and they both toppled over onto the floor.
Now it was any man’s game.
The bodies grappled, wrestling, attempting to overthrow the other. Somehow both men managed to get back to their feet. Spike swung a right hook, catching Cobra in the jaw. He staggered backwards. Spike dove for the gun. Kicking the gun aside, Cobra hit him with a two piece combination to both jaws.
Spike was literally seeing stars.
Now on bended knee, Spike sucker punched Cobra in the balls. Hissing, Cobra grabbed his jewels. “Shit…fuck you bastard,” he groaned as he kicked Spike in the mouth.
Spike wiped at the stream of blood that poured from his busted mouth. He was sure that he was missing a tooth or two. Cobra jumped up and kicked him in the head. Spike flew into the bookshelf head first. Cobra grabbed him by his head and dragged him around until they were face to face.
“You…asshole…killed my sister,” turning him in a half spin, Cobra wrapped his arm around Spike’s neck. Bending Spike’s head over his shoulder, he pulled until he heard a loud pop. Releasing him, he let his limp body drop to the hard wood floor. Bending slightly, he spoke into the button, “Shit is crazy in here. I need back up now. Come in with guns blazing.”
From the car, Travis heard Cobra’s command. Not knowing what he was facing, but sure that there was more than one man inside, he went to the trunk and pulled out the heavy artillery. Now strapped with the M249, Travis made his way to the house.
Cobra picked up the 45 magnum after securing his 9mm to his waist. Making his way to the office door, he softly opened it and peeked out into the hallway. He half expected someone to have heard the fighting and come to investigate. Through the glass window of the front door, he saw a figure holding a big ass gun. He smiled, it was one of his guys. A loud pop reverberated through the first floor as the front door shattered inwardly.
“What the fuck!” Axl yelled as he came from the kitchen, a big butcher knife in his hand.
Dropped down to one knee, Cobra shot him in the gut while Travis’s bullet hit the top of his head, taking it off completely.
Tyrone yelled as if he was in some kind of Rambo movie. He cleared the banister, landing on the floor between Cobra and Travis. One shot and he hit Travis in the shoulder.
“I got this fucker!” Travis called. His finger laid on the trigger sending round after round into Tyrone’s body. Much like fairy dust, his body blew into millions of pieces.
“You okay Trav?”
“I’m good. Anyone else in the house?”
“I’m not sure. I’m going to the basement.”
“Gotcha, I’ll check the other levels. Back-up is on the way.”
Cobra nodded before hurrying off to the basement. Quickly he descended the stairs and snatched the key ring off the hook. One by one, he opened the doors, telling the kids to go upstairs, they were now free. With each door and no sign of Jace, his heart dropped at the alternate meaning of his non-appearance. Finally he came to the last door. With the key in the lock, he gave a silent prayer, “Please let him be in here unharmed.”
The door opened.
Jace flew into his arms. “Cobra!”
“Cutie, baby, you’re alright.”
Jace nodded as their lips sought each other’s. The kiss was sloppy and wet, warm and wonderful all in one. Taking his hand, Cobra whispered, “Come on baby, let’s get out of here.”
By the time they reached the first floor, the place was crawling with police and EMT workers. The bodies were being bagged and tagged while the children were huddled together in a van. They would be taken to the hospital, seen to, then sent to a family crisis shelter where their parents would be notified to come and retrieve them. Cobra led Jace over to an EMT truck.
“No, I’m fine, I really don’t need to be seen,” he argued.
“Humor me cutie. Just let them look you over.”
Reluctantly he allowed himself to be checked. Once he was cleared, Cobra put him in the car Travis rode in. “Stay right here babe, I’ll be right back.”
Jace nodded.
Cobra ambled over to Chief Wiseman. “Hey, where’s Barney?”
“He should be flying back to the U.S. by now.”
“Huh?”
“It’s a long story. I’m sure he’ll fill you in. Did you get your friend to safety?”
Cobra looked Wiseman in the eyes. Something there told him that he knew Jace was much more than a friend. “Yeah, he’s good.”
“Good. Go on home Cobra. I expect a full report by noon tomorrow.”
Cobra smiled. “You’ll have it.”
Before going back to the sedan where Jace sat, he detoured to check on Travis. “You okay?”
“Yeah. The bullet went clean through. I’ll get a few stitches, be good as new.”
“Thanks man for the assist.”
They pounded fist. “Anytime.”
“You ready to go home babe?” Cobra asked as he slid into the driver’s seat.
“Am I,”Jace huffed as he pulled a long lock of his blond hair back from his face.
The drive was basically in silence, however they held hands all the way until Cobra pulled up in the garage. No sooner they entered the unit, Cobra had him up against the wall. His lips attacked Jace’s mouth, neck and back to those succulent lips once again.
Jace all but withered in his arms.
His hands were in his hair, holding his head still while he assaulted his mouth. Cobra’s tongue went deep, caressing and teasing. It was as if he was trying to taste his very essence.
Jace’s cock was so hard, he grind against Cobra, who grasped handfuls of his plump globes, lifting him off his feet before carting Jace off to the bed. After being away for two days, he was anxious to taste his man. Placing him on the bed, Cobra slowly peeled Jace’s shirt off and tossed it. Gently pushing him backwards on the bed, Cobra unbutton his jeans, then slowly unzipped them. Reaching inside, Cobra took hold of his treasure, freeing it. As he began to stroke Jace’s cock, he moaned, tossing his head left and right. He looked like an erotic angel with his blond hair fanned out around his head.
“Want my mouth on you cutie?”
Jace nodded.
Lowering his head, Cobra gave the swollen head of Jace’s cock a slow sensual lick. Jace moaned, “More.”
“More?” Cobra repeated before opening wide and engulfing his entire prick. His head began a nice suction, bobbing up and down, taking his length to the hilt and then back to the head.
As Jace’s balls began to draw tight, he cried, “I’m coming!”
Cobra increased his sucking. Soon Jace’s hips were pumping frantically as his cock shot off its load.
Picking Jace up, he changed their position. “I want you to ride me baby.” Now in a sitting position, Jace straddled his waist. Slowly he lowered himself on Cobra’s erect rod. His hungry little hole stretched beautifully as he eased down on the thick appendage. The walls of his chute squeezed Cobra’s dick tightly as it swallowed him inch by glorious inch. Only once his was wrapped around the base of the cop’s cock did he begin a slow thrusting of his hips. Picking at momentum as the sweet pleasure/pain of being filled so full spread throughout Jace’s ass and lower back he began bucking harder and faster on the huge cock inside him. His tossed his head back, Jace moaned as Cobra’s dick hit his G-Spot on every up stroke.
Cobra kissed and licked his neck, he gripped Jace’s buttocks, increasing his own rhythm. Thrusting his hips upward, Cobra was topping from the bottom. Jace’s ass squeezed him just right.
God, he looked so beautiful working his cock. His body was just lean enough that Cobra could easily pick him up and bend him into different positions. Right now, he lifted Jace off of his cock and placed him on his back. Placing both legs on his shoulders, Cobra thrust ins
ide of Jace and began to fuck him through the mattress.
“Cobra!” Jace cried in pure ecstasy.
“Come for me cutie.”
His sphincter spasm repeatedly as Jace came, shooting spunk from his cock, painting the cop’s stomach. Cobra took his mouth in a fierce kiss before he too shot his load deep within Jace, splashing his guts with sweet seed.
“Damn baby…that was…there’s no words.” They lay in the aftermath of their loving for a few more moments as their breathing regulated. Both opted to bathe later, right now they simply wanted to savor the comfort of each other’s arms.
Holding Jace cradled against his chest, Cobra kissed his head. “Jace, I want to apologize for getting you caught up in this.”
Lifting his head, Jace looked into his eyes and placed his finger on Cobra’s lips. “Sh-it wasn’t your fault. There’s no need to apologize.”
Cobra sighed. “That’s the part that’s been bugging me all night. How exactly did they get you?”
Jace sat up. “Well, I remember going into work, laughing with Jetson and Lydia. I took a break, cause I had to use the bathroom. When I came out of the stall, someone grabbed me from behind. I remember something over my nose and mouth, and a kind of bittersweet scent. When I woke up I was in that cell.”
“Chloroform,” Cobra said. “That had to be the scent you’re talking about. Bastards.”
“Things were kind of crazy back there. I don’t think I‘ll forget all that blood in the foyer,” Jace shuddered.
“Don’t waste any sympathy on them cutie, those two men were part of the trafficking ring all the way up to their necks. They kidnapped countless kids and sold them to animals to be used as sex slaves.”
“God, that just so wrong.”
“I think they got off easy if you ask me. They should’ve been made to suffer. A lifetime sentence in a hard as hell jail where they were sure to be bitched out sounds about right.”
“Well, where they’re going I doubt it’ll be a picnic.” Jace and Cobra chuckled at that. Cobra sobered and sighed deeply. “I found the guy who killed my sister.”
Jace tenderly kissed his lips, then pulled his head into his arms and held him tight.
“He’s no longer breathing,” Cobra announced, his face buried in Jace’s neck.
Jace just nodded and kissed his neck.
A thought suddenly struck Cobra. Lifting his head, he looked Jace dead in the eyes. Cupping his cheek, he began, “Is this too much for you? I mean I know you’ve been through some violent things in your past. I don’t want you to think that I harbor some deep dark violent side. But I can’t lie to you either. This job, some cases, they do demand a certain amount of violence. There’s no sweet easy way to deal with most criminals. Sometimes you have to be a monster to take down a monster. But that’s the job, not the man.”
“Sh-you don’t have to worry. I don’t believe that you’re like Octorian. I saw the way you were every time you spoke of your sister. I saw how you were with those kids. A monster wouldn’t have that kind of heart and conviction. You could’ve very well died tonight. And yet, you risked it all to save me and those children. That speaks in spades about the man.”
Taking him by the nape of his neck, Cobra pulled him in for a deep kiss. “Cutie, you’re amazing.” That led into another long kiss, which led to an hour long but of intense loving.

Cobra rolled over in the bed. A pleasant scent tickled his nostrils.
Food.
Slipping from the bed, he detoured in the bathroom, washed up then headed towards the wondrous aroma.
“Hi sleepyhead,” Jace greeted. “I’m making you breakfast.”
“It smells divine.” Coming into the kitchen, Cobra dropped a kiss on Jace’s neck, then sat at the breakfast bar. His man had been busy this morning, Cobra thought as Jace pushed a plate of waffles, eggs and bacon before him.
“I figured you used a lot of energy last night so a tall glass of OJ should help replenish some of that,” Jace’s eyes twinkled with mischief.
Cobra laughed. “The way I remember it, a certain blond turned into a real animal last night. He had me doing things I’d only seen in porno films.”
“Who, me?” Jace faked mock innocence, batting his eyelashes.
“See that look right there is enough to give me naughty thoughts of what we could be doing with this syrup and a pair of my handcuffs.”
“Ohmygod,” Jace breathed. “Do tell.”
A knock sounded at the door before Cobra could get out one erogenous detail.
“I got it,” Jace hurried to the door.
“Ah, I see you two are safe and sound,” Barney smiled.
Cobra stood and shook his hand. “I heard you flew Dakar Cole home.”
“Yeah. Maconochie isn’t too happy about his current arrangements.”
Both men laughed. “I hope they throw the book at that asshole.”
“Right now he’s at Riker’s Island, probably getting poked with a toilet brush. I guess that wasn’t in his plans when he boarded that plane.”
“How’s the kid?” Jace cut in.
Barney turned to him. “He’s good. No real harm came to him. Thank god we were able to get him back before Maconochie lived out any of his perverted desires. He’s with his parents. Actually, all of the children are back home.”
“That’s good.”
“I heard you had some excitement yourself.”
“I don’t know how exciting it was but yeah, I was taken and thrown in a dirty small cell. My real fear was that they’d discovered Cobra was a cop and was going to use me to get to him. To kill him.”
Cobra pulled Jace up against his body as the smaller man shuddered at the thought. “Hey, I wasn’t going to let that happen.” He nuzzled his neck.
Smiling Barney inhaled, “Oh man, what’s that I smell?”
Jace laughed untangling himself from Cobra’s hold, “Come on, there’s plenty.”
Barney took a seat next to Cobra.
Jace smirked.
“What’s so funny?”
“I don’t know, I guess I never thought I’d see a snake and a dinosaur eating waffles,” he laughed.
Cobra laughed as well.
“I knew it. I knew it wouldn’t be long before he started those crap ass jokes too.”
“Hey, lay off my man. It was funny.”
Barney smiled, “Yeah it was.” He shook his finger at Jace, “But turnabout is fair game.”
Jace just laughed harder.
He and Barney sat in the living room talking while Cobra prepared for the day. Upon walking back into the room, Cobra pulled Jace into his arms. “Are you sure you feel like going in today?”
“Yeah, I have to. I’m sure Mickey and the others are worried to death as to how I disappeared from the bathroom. They’ve been so good to me, I owe them some kind of an explanation.”
“Okay but call me, okay. Barney and I will come to escort you home.” he kissed him soundly before he and Barney took their exit.
Jace smiled as he sat down on the couch. It was nice to have someone care about him, genuinely.
Mickey called a meeting of staff. Lydia, Jetson and Leroy were present.
“I’m not understanding, he went to the bathroom and then poof…he was gone. Maybe we should’ve called the cops,” Lydia exclaimed.
Mickey shook his head. “I’m not sure that’s the right thing to do. I’ve seen a lot in my day and I’m telling you all, Jace isn’t what he seems. There’s something more to that kid. I don’t know what but I have a feeling if we call the cops, we might be getting him deeper into whatever it is he’s running from.”
Leroy shook his head. “Yeah I get the same feeling. I remember how he used to cringe if someone bigger than him came too close. And how his eyes would sometime watch the front door as if he expected the devil himself to come striding through. I’d definitely say he’s running from something.”
“But what if he’s in real danger?” Lydia per
sisted. “The fact that Jetson found his phone in the bathroom and the window was wide open, doesn’t leave a good feeling in my stomach at all.”
“We’ll give it today. If we don’t hear anything from him, I’ll call the police myself,” Mickey said.
The staff dispersed and went about their daily chores. Each mind was preoccupied with thoughts of their missing comrade.
Hey,” Johansson called out. “Tell me, if the snake spits on the dinosaur then what does the dinosaur do to the snake? Squash it.” Johansson burst out in laughter.
Barney shook his head as he sat at his desk.
“What no snappy comeback,” Cobra teased.
“For what. The more I say something, the more they come up with these lame jokes.”
Cobra booted up his computer and began typing up his report.
“Hey, I hear you found the asshole responsible for Ashley’s death. How are you handling that, really?”
Cobra sighed as he stopped typing and faced his partner. “Honestly, Barn.”
“Yeah.”
“I feel some justice for Ashley but also a newfound desire to find the rest of these child traffickers and put an end to their seedy business. I looked at those kids in that basement and I swear, my heart went out to each and every one of them. I think the only way I was able to keep my composure was because I knew that you and the guys were out there, ready to make those punks pay. I knew we’d bring them down and get those kids to safety. But what’s nagging me in the corner of my mind is, what about the ones who were sold before we hit that house? What will be their fate?”
“Chief told me that they’re going through that house brick by brick. I’m sure if there’s any files to be found, our guys will retrieve them. If they can find locations, then the Seals will be called in to handle the missions from there. This is big business, dirty but big none the less. The truth is, we may never be able to find them all. It’s a reality that we have to live with. It’s a hard pill to swallow.”
“Uh, excuse me Goldman, here’s the information on that John Doe that you requested,” a rookie walked up to his desk and handed him a file.
