As Adam allows his eyes to shut, he decides that four in the morning is better than the afternoon. After all, there’s still a whole day of possibilities ahead of him. Once, he might have scoffed at the romantic notion, too anxious to grab life by the throat and make it give him what he wanted. Shane’s grip was tight around him, comforting and warm, reminding Adam there was always time yet for him to do something else, something more.
