Taylor's Geek Charming Page 9

She picked up the remote and started flipping through the channels. Her other hand trembled as she picked up her wine glass and brought it to her lips. When she pulled the glass away, he saw a drop of wine clinging lovingly to her bottom lip. Her pink tongue came out and slowly licked it away. He sat transfixed as he watched her. This woman had no clue what she had just done to him as she kept flicking through channels. She stopped on Whose Line Is It.

“Is this okay?” She asked turning to him.

“Whatever you want is fine.” He reassured her.

She settled back against the couch, and pulled her legs up to curl behind her. He tried to pay attention to the show, but every time she laughed his eyes went back to her. They talked occasionally, but he was content to sit and be close to her. She sighed and he knew she had to be uncomfortable after sitting at that odd angle for a while.

“I’ll get us more drinks.” He said then grabbed his empty beer bottle, and her wine glass.

“Thanks.” She said turning back to the TV.

When Chad came back, he sat her wine down, and sat closer to her. He felt like a teenage on his first date as he stretched his arm out on the back of the couch behind her. As they watched TV, he occasionally let his fingers run through her hair. As it dried, it had become wavy, and he couldn’t keep his hand off of the soft tresses. When she fell asleep, he pulled her so that her head rested against his chest to make her more comfortable. He should probably take her to bed, but he wanted a few more minutes to feel her against him. He woke up to an infomercial playing on the TV. He had shifted during the night and was now laying against the armrest. Taylor had moved with him, and she was laying half over him with her head on his chest, and her arm across his stomach. Chad ran a finger down her baby soft cheek.

It was still dark out, and he was still tired. He hated to move, but she should be able to sleep in her own bed. He carefully slid out from under her, then picked her up. He opened the door to her room, then gently laid her on the bed. Chad leaned down and placed a soft kiss to her lips, then turned to leave.

  “Stay.” She whispered.

“I’ll be in the living room.” He said turning back to her.

“Stay here with me.” She whispered looking up at him.

“Anything you want.” He smiled and laid beside her on top of the covers.

Taylor shifted closer, and curled into him. She sighed softly as she found her comfortable spot. Chad laid awake for a while running his fingers over her back. It annoyed him that the group had cornered them and forced this, but he thanked his lucky stars it had worked. He knew they loved Taylor, but in effort to fix everything, they had hurt her too. Chad eventually drifted off to sleep. Her scent all around him, and her curled up close, relaxed him in to the best sleep he had ever had.

“Good morning, doll.” Chad smiled when she blinked her sleepy eyes at him.

“Hey.” She whispered looking away quickly.

“Don’t get shy on me now. We have already slept together.” He wiggled his brows at her making her laugh. “Want me to make breakfast, or would you rather go out?”

“Out. This is my lazy weekend, no cooking, cleaning, or doing anything that involves work.” Taylor informed him.

“Okay, we need to get ready, then I’ll take you wherever you want to go.” Chad kissed her cheek, then moved her so he could get up. If he stayed in bed with a sleepy Taylor, he wouldn’t be able to control himself.

“Everything okay?” She asked as she sat up on the bed.

“Great, but you’re too tempting for my sanity right now.” He said honestly, then walked away.

Chad went to the living room and grabbed a pair of jeans and his toothbrush. He found the bathroom down the hallway, and quickly changed his jeans and brushed his teeth. He hadn’t brought a shirt in here, he took his off and walked out to go back to his bag. He figured it would take Taylor a while, but he found her waiting in the living room. She looked up at him and gasped.

“I forgot to grab a clean shirt from my bag.” He said, but she just stared at him. He could feel her eyes drift over his chest, and hard abs. “Taylor.” He growled.

“Hum?” She whispered still not looking up.

“You need to stop.” Chad husked stepping toward her.

“Stop what?” She still didn’t look up from his chest.

“Looking at me like that.” He growled.

  “I can’t.” She whispered.

Chad stepped up to her, and wrapped her ponytail around his fist. He pulled gently, her eyes snapped up to his as her head tilted back. His control snapped as she wet her lips. He crushed his lips to hers. Taylor opened for him immediately. Her soft hands came up to rub across his chest. He wrapped his other arm around her and pulled her flush against him. Chad hadn’t meant for this to happen, but he couldn’t stop it now. Her hands slid around his neck, her nails lightly scrapping over the sensitive skin there. Chad shivered and let his free hand wonder down to squeeze her voluptuous butt. She rocked into him and groan at the evidence of his desire for her. She trailed her had down his chest and side, then hooked a finger in the waist band of his jeans. Chad used his last bit of sanity to pull away from her.

“Breakfast.” He sighed. He wasn’t sure she was ready for what that kiss could lead to.

“Did I do something wrong?” She asked tentatively.

“Absolutely not, but I need you to be sure before we go where that kiss was leading us.” Chad reassured her, then kissed her forehead. Chad grabbed the shirt he had dropped on the floor, and put it in his bag before putting on a clean one. “Ready to go?” He held his hand out for her. She put her hand in his and locked the door as they left. “Where do you want to go?” He asked as he started his truck.

“The bakery sounds good.” She told him.

“The bakery it is.” Chad smiled as he reached over and took her hand in his.

“Hey guys.” Chasity called as they walked in.

  “Hey.” Taylor smiled.

“Y’all just missed the rush. What can I get you?” Chasity asked. After they placed their order, they went to a booth and sat down.

“How’s Sophia?” Taylor asked as he slid in beside her.

“Good. I talked to her yesterday.” Chad was glad she didn’t have a problem with Sophia. He didn’t want to have to choose.

“Did y’all ever set up video calls?” Taylor took a sip of the coffee Chasity had just handed her.

“She said she had set it up on her end, but I haven’t messed with mine yet.” Chad hadn’t felt like dealing with anything this past week.

“It’s easy, you should do it for her.” Taylor smiled. “She misses you.”

“I know. She had hoped that I would move back, but she knows that won’t happen now.” Chad missed her too, but this was where he belonged.

  “Why not?” Taylor frowned.

  “You.” Chad shrugged.

“What about me?” Taylor asked confused.

“You’re here, so I will stay here.” Chad said kissing her forehead.

“But you barely know me.” Taylor whispered.

“I know you are kind, loving, mostly respectful, stubborn, loyal, and the most beautiful woman I have ever met.” Chad said honestly, then brushed a soft kiss across her lips.

“No burning down my bakery.” Chasity huffed as she sat their plated down.

“Oh, please, it was just a quick kiss.” Taylor rolled her eyes.

“If that was a quick kiss, what is a real one?” Chasity raised an eyebrow.

Chad grinned, that sounded like a challenge. Taylor shook her head, but he grabbed her ponytail and tilted her head back. She grinned at him. His lips met hers and he coaxed hers open with the tip of his tongue. She opened, and her tongue flicked against his. He held in the growl that wanted to escape. Slowly he pulled back, but used the hand in her ponytail to keep her from following.

“Holy crap.” Chasity whispered. “I think I need to call Jacob.”

  “That was a
real kiss.” Chad smiled. Taylor blushed and grabbed her coffee.

“I see.” Chasity smiled. “I gotta go.”

Chad and Taylor laughed as Chasity rushed to the kitchen. They ate their breakfast slowly, enjoying the food and each other’s company. As they stood to leave, the door opened and Jacob walked in.

“She’s in the kitchen. You might want to lock the door behind us.” Taylor winked at Jacob.

“Huh? She just texted she need me to run by.” Jacob said confused.

“You’re welcome.” Chad smiled as he led Taylor out.

“Thank God we were done eating.” Taylor giggled. “There are some things I really don’t need to see or hear.”

“Me neither.” Chad agreed. “Anywhere else you want to go?”

“Nope, my couch is calling my name.” Taylor smiled at him.

“Sounds good.” Chad could spend the whole day on the couch with her.

After a few hours on the couch, they ordered pizza to be delivered. They had been talking and laughing, and the day was flying by. He loved being with her, but time seemed to speed up when they were together. After they ate, she curled up beside him with her head on his chest. He put his arm across her back and rested his hand on her hip. Twenty minutes later, she moved her hand under his shirt to his abs. His muscles tensed at the feel of her soft hand against them. He stayed as still as he could, but figured turnabout was fair play. He eased the edge of her shirt up till he was touching bare skin. Her skin was silky smooth under his fingers. He felt a shudder work through her body and had to bite his lip to keep from groaning. Her touch became firmer, then she raked her nails across his abs. “Taylor.” He growled, squeezing the soft flesh under his hand.

She ignored him and kept watching TV. She backed off some but didn’t take her hand away. Chad relaxed his grip, and gently rubbed her side. Her hand trailed lower, but he tried to ignore it. When her finger ran just inside the waist band of his jeans, he shivered. He eased his fingers just inside her jeans at her hip and she moaned. When she traced his waist band to the button, he grabbed her wrist.

“Taylor.” He warned when her eyes flicked up to his.

The little minx bit her lip, but moved her idle hand up to help unbutton his jeans. Chad slammed his head back against the couch and fought for control. He could feel the teeth of the zipper as she lowered it. Unable to hold back, Chad jerked up then bent over and picked her up. He carried her to the bedroom and laid her down gently on the bed.

“Last warning, Taylor, be sure.” He growled seeing the glassy lust filled look in her eyes.

  “Positive.” She whispered.

Chad leaned down and kissed her. His mouth claiming hers the way he was going to with his body. He undressed her quickly, kissing and licking as he revealed her body. Patience gone, he stood up beside the bed and stripped faster than he ever had in his life. He laid back down on top of her, and kissed her again. He used his kiss to distract her. She had tensed when he first laid down, but now she was making room for him to lay between those plush thighs. When she felt the top of him slip against her, she rolled her hips up. Chad buried himself in the only place her ever wanted to be, then froze when she whimpered in pain.

He leaned back to look down at her. She smiled up at him with tears shimmering in her eyes. Chad was confused. It shouldn’t actually hurt her unless… He pulled out a little and looked down. There was a smear of blood between them. His heart broke, he had hurt her.

“I’m so sorry. I should have been gentler.” Chad whispered looking down at her.

“It’s okay. I knew it would hurt.” Taylor gave him a watery smile.

“It’s not okay, I hurt you.” Chad growled.

“Stop, I wanted this.” She said placing a kiss over his heart.

“How can I make this better?” Chad knew he could never give back what he had just taken, but he needed her to be okay.

“Kiss me.” The tears had disappeared from her eyes finally.

Chad leaned down and did as she asked. She took over the kiss as he worked on distracting her from the discomfort he had caused. Soon her hips were rolling under him. He took the hint and started a slow easy rhythm. He was fighting what his body wanted so he could be what she needed. Taylor seemed set on breaking him. She pushed up against him trying to demand more. When that didn’t work, she raked her nails down his back and his hips slammed against her.

  “Yes.” She cried out.

  “No.” Chad told her softly.

  “Why?” She snapped.

“I don’t want to hurt you any worse, you need gentle.” Chad kissed the tip of her nose.

“Chad, I appreciate you trying to take care of me, but don’t think you know my needs better than I do.” She growled. “If you can’t give me what I need, then we are done.”

“Like hell we are.” Chad snarled and let go of the last bit of control he had. “You asked for this.” He warned her.

“More.” Taylor moaned. “Oh, Chad. I’m close.”

  “Me too.” He panted.

She had turned into a demanding nymph. He loved it. Just as he felt her flutter around him, he felt her teeth sink into his shoulder, and her nails rake down his back. He had never been into pain, but she did it for him. Her lack of control set him off. He ground his hips against hers, sealing them together, and giving her the most pleasure he could. She released her teeth slowly and sighed. He kissed her, then smiled down at her.

“Oh, no. Did I really do that?” Taylor gasped.

“What?” Chad asked praying she didn’t regret this already.

“I-I-I bit you.” She said horrified staring at his neck.

“I was surprised, but I liked it.” Chad shrugged and kissed her nose. “Let me take care of the cond… Damn.” Chad said remembering he wasn’t wearing one.

“What?” Taylor asked running her hands up and down his back.

“We didn’t… I forgot to put one on.” He rushed out.

“Oh, well, I’m clean obviously. And Sophia said it had been a while for you.” Taylor shrugged.

“I’m clean, but are you on birth control?” Chad asked her.

“Of course not. You were my first.” Taylor seemed annoyed.

“True, but this could still mean…” Chad hoped she would figure it out.

  “A baby.” She whispered.

“I’m sorry.” Chad hung his head.

“If that happens, I don’t expect you to be responsible. I can do it on my own.” Taylor whispered looking away from him.

“What?” Chad barked. “Of course, I would be here.”

“Chad, I will be fine. You didn’t ask for this.” Taylor smiled.

“You didn’t either.” He said softly.

“No, but I’ve always wanted kids, and I have a lot of people around me who would help me.” Taylor tried to reassure him.

“Damn it, Taylor.” Chad snarled and jumped of the bed. “I am not going to abandon the woman I love and my child, how could you even think that?” Chad pace as he talked.

  “What?” Taylor whispered.

“You heard me. I’m not abandoning you.” He snapped running his fingers through his hair.

“Oh. The odds are slim. Don’t think of it as abandoning me, think of it as taking a step back. Until we know for sure, there is no reason you have to be around.” Taylor looked close to tears.

“Are you trying to break up with me?” Chad said confused. He never thought he would be having the break up conversation as he paced naked around a bedroom.

“Well, kinda. You don’t need to be worried about this. You may think I look like a porcelain doll, but I’m not that easy to break.” She gave him a watery smile.

“I told you I wouldn’t back down again.” Chad reminded her.

“That was before this happened.” Taylor said quietly.

“So, you want to pretend we didn’t just make love?” Chad asked putting his hands on his hips, not caring that he was still naked.

  “No, but I’m
trying to make this easy for you.” She snapped at him.

“The woman I love is trying to throw me out after the best day of my life, how does that make it easier?” Chad looked at her, and saw tears in her eyes. “I’m sorry, please don’t cry. I’ll go if that’s what you want.” Chad grabbed his clothes from the floor and started toward the door.

“I love you too.” She whispered behind him.

“What?” Chad spun around to look at her.

  “I love you.” She whispered.

“I love you more than anything.” Chad said stalking back to the bed.

Chad leaned over to kiss her. Soon he was back in the bed with her. He looked down at her and raised an eyebrow. Taylor smiled up at him and shook her head no. He would give her anything she wanted. Right now, it seemed like she might want a baby, his baby. They made love off and on all night. If one of them woke up, they reached for the other. Chad had thought it would take months to get Taylor to this point, but she had fallen fast too. He had never imagined she was a virgin with those delicious curves. They were all his now. He would make sure she was worshipped like she deserved to be. If she did get pregnant, he would wait on her hand and foot. He was hoping she was pregnant. Their babies would be beautiful.

He had touched and kissed every inch of her at some point during the night, but he was going to do it again. He knew she would be sore, but she got mad when he tried to say anything. She was still asleep when he eased inside her, but her eyes popped open and she smiled up at him. She wrapped her arms around him and took what he had to give. He would be sore too. He didn’t think he had done it this much in his entire life. Taylor was like crack, and he was a life time addict.

  Epilogue

Monday morning came around too soon and Taylor couldn’t wait to get someone hired to help her. She wished she could have stayed in bed today. Chad had woken her up early, but he hadn’t been ready to get out of bed. When he finally let her up, they had to rush to get ready for work. They had spent most of Sunday in bed. She had barely made it to work on time.
