Heavyweight (Hallow Brothers Book 3) Page 6

by Tricia Andersen

Henry, I’m fine. I’m with Sam’s sisters-in-law. I’ll be home in the morning. And baby, Sam isn’t lying. I’ve seen it with my own eyes. I’ll tell you more tomorrow. Love you. Dee

She clicked Send. Once she knew it was successful, she closed the browser and stood. Opening the door, she found Eve alone in the living room.

“Where’s…?” It was all Delilah could get out.

“Outside in the yard,” Eve replied. “Meg is trying to wear her out. Or hope Caleb comes back to help.”

“Oh.” Delilah settled on the couch and laid her head on the arm. She stared out the window at the moonlight glistening on the lake. The sound of Meg’s laughter blended with the crickets’ songs. Her nerves were fried. A thousand volts of electricity buzzed through her.

It didn’t stop her from falling asleep.

  Chapter Five

Delilah jolted awake, knocking the quilt draped over her onto the floor. She searched frantically around her for her bearings. Something prickly brushed her leg. Glancing down, she caught the trail of drool Ruby left right before it hit her foot.

That was right. She was still in the Twilight Zone. And she wasn’t dreaming. She wiped the slobber off her foot and looked around.

Eve was still dozing in an armchair. Meg was at the stove in the kitchen humming to herself. Instead of her T-shirt, she was in a lacy black bra covered in an unbuttoned men’s dress shirt. She was drizzling icing over a pan of freshly baked cinnamon rolls. A cast iron fry pan sat on a cold burner. A carton of eggs and a package of thick-cut bacon were placed on the counter.

Meg glanced over her shoulder and smiled. “Good morning.”

“Good morning,” Delilah replied. “New outfit.”

“Well, it’s almost time for you and lazy bones over there to go home.” Meg pointed out the window. The sky was no longer black. A soft glow appeared across the horizon.

  “Sun’s almost up.”

“Which reminds me.” Meg set the frosting bowl down and rinsed her hands in the sink. She hurried across the living room to Ruby. Picking up the infant werewolf, she settled on the floor. “She’s only a baby. I have to know where she is when she changes.”

  “Good idea.”

The sound of grunts and growls drifted through the open windows from the yard outside. Delilah shivered. She wasn’t cold. The summer heat still warmed the cabin. She shuddered again as she whimpered. Her body was filled with pure ecstasy. She fought not to touch herself as a knot wound itself in her belly needing release.

Meg’s voice was breathless as she kicked Eve. The black-haired woman shot up in her chair. “That isn’t just Cay.”

Eve ran her tongue along her lower lip as she rose and stepped outside. Delilah could still see her as she leaned against the rail, trailing a finger along her breast. “Oh, fuck.”

  “What?”

Delilah stood and strode mindlessly outside with Eve. Meg was right. It wasn’t only the beast Delilah saw earlier. There were three now, one charcoal, one chocolate brown, and one light gray. The light gray one’s fur peaked on the top of its head. Like a Mohawk.

Delilah shifted her hip, rubbing her thighs together. It was enough to send an orgasm tearing through her. She bit back her cry, letting only a squeak out. The light-gray werewolf growled.

  “Eve? What’s happening?” Delilah whispered.

“Delilah, you should get the keys and go,” Eve answered.

  “Why?”

“Because Cay’s howl must have been a call to his brothers. The chocolate one? That’s my Micah.”

  “And that light-gray one?”

“I’m not entirely sure. Could you wring your panties out right now?”

  “Absolutely.”

“Then my guess is that it’s Sam.”

  “Sam?”

  “Yeah.”

The morning air was pierced with a baby’s cry. Both Eve and Delilah turned to look in the cabin. Meg sat cross-legged on the floor, cradling an infant to her breast. The child-werewolf was long gone. Delilah smiled and then turned her attention back to the yard. She gasped as she watched the three wolves hit the ground. The creatures shook violently as they shrank in size. Coarse fur turned into flesh. Claws and fangs receded into teeth and nails.

What rose from the ground weren’t werewolves. They were three men in all their naked glory. Each had dark hair and chocolate eyes. And each of them had a thick, hard erection. Delilah’s throat went dry. She couldn’t swallow. Eve was right. Where the gray monster stood was now Samuel. He smirked at her as he crossed his strong arms over his broad chest.

Her feet moved on their own without her command. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the other two Hallows pass as she descended the steps. She was a moth, and he was the flame. She couldn’t stop herself. Her mind was blank. Her instincts demanded one thing. Sex.

Sam gave her a shit-eating grin as she stopped before him. It faded when she dropped to her knees and wrapped her hand around his cock. He groaned as she pumped her fist up and down his length a couple of times.

She let go long enough to replace her hand with her lips. She shivered at the taste of his flesh on her tongue. She sucked hard, bobbing her head to work him deeper into her throat. She didn’t know how, but the man was longer and thicker than the last time.

She felt him gently knot his fingers in her hair. He murmured words she couldn’t discern. She gripped his thighs, stroking his flesh before sliding one hand to massage his sac. He bucked hard as he moaned again. Tears stung her eyes as she fought not to gag. He must have sensed something because his caresses became gentle as he explored her face with his rough fingers.

“Delilah, I’m going to come,” he said as he pushed a stray auburn lock out of her face.

She didn’t answer. She buried her face into his groin the best she could as she sucked harder. She felt him swell moments before his rush flooded her. She swallowed as fast as she could. She glanced up to see him standing over her, his head thrown back and the patterns of ink on his skin softly illumined in the sunlight of the dawn. It was the singularly most beautiful thing she had ever laid eyes on.

She managed to wipe a stray drop from her lower lip before he pulled her to her feet. His face hovered dangerously close to hers. “Get the keys to my truck and get out of here.”

Delilah was breathless when she responded. “I don’t think I can.”

“You have to. Bad things will happen if you stay.”

“Are you going to eat me?”

Samuel let go a staggered laugh. “In a manner of speaking, yes. If you stay, if we sleep together…” His voice trailed off.

  “Sam.”

“Delilah, it’s taking all the control I have to stop me from dragging you into the woods and fucking you until neither of us can walk. It’s nearly killing me. The pain is so great. So, please go. If you don’t, you’ll hate me.”

Delilah fought against the force controlling her for a moment. He was right. A sudden flood of pain filled her. She took a cold, hard look at the man before her as she remembered Eve’s words. The Hallows were fertile only during the week of the full moon. She wasn’t a big fan of kids. Never had been.

The sudden image of her holding an infant to her breast with Sam at her side filled her mind. She frowned. It wasn’t just him. It was Sam and Henry, and they were doting over her and the child. She winced as she tried to force it from her mind. Except it wasn’t the mystical pull that put it there.

It was her own heart. Her eyes widened as she stared at him. She closed her eyes and let the pull possess her. Her thoughts were wiped away. Her fingertips wrapped around the hem of her shirt and pulled it off over her head. As she opened her eyes, she felt his force collide with her. Her breath was stolen by his kiss. She clung to his shoulders as he lifted her, guiding her to wrap her legs around his hips.

He broke away from her. “Delilah.”

“I want you, Sam. Don’t tell me to go. I’m not leaving.”

  She held tightly
to him as he stalked off into the woods with her in his arms. The blue sky overhead was cloaked by the thick branches of the forest. She didn’t know how far he hiked. He was on a mission. She ground against his thick cock pressed against her belly. He growled and nipped at the curve of her neck.

He stopped at the trunk of a fallen tree and set her back on her feet. He grasped the button of her shorts and unfastened them, gripped her shoulders, and spun her away from him. He gently bent her over the log and tugged her shorts and panties to the ground.

The thick, green moss that covered the bark of the tree was cool and damp against her belly. It was almost comforting. She moaned as Sam grabbed her ass in his hands and nudged her thighs apart with his thumbs. She trembled as his digits were replaced by his tongue. He laid soft kisses against her hot, sensitive flesh. He licked at her nub before slipping a couple of fingers inside her. He rocked his hand deep as his mouth continued its journey. He bit her ass as the rush overpowered her, her knees buckling as it dragged her under. She was certain they could hear her screams back at the cabin if they were paying attention at all.

Samuel rose from where he kneeled on the carpet of leaves that spread throughout the forest as he steadied her back on the log. A moment later he filled her, stretching her farther than any man ever had. He grabbed her hips to plunge deeper, harder, grunting each time he arched against her. She did her best to widen her legs. It was no use. He took control of her as his pace quickened.

Delilah dug her fingernails into the moss as her whole body shook with another orgasm. Electricity snapped through her nerves as her mind grew hazy. Did she black out? She was sure she did. All she could feel was his cock swell as he came, his teeth scraping her flesh sending her over the edge once again.

He pulled free from her then and pulled her close. His lips roamed across her cheek and chin as he held her tight. He palmed her breast with one hand as he snaked his other arm around her waist. His erection was pressed against her back.

“You’re hard again,” she murmured as she caught his mouth as it fluttered briefly against hers.

“Never got soft,” he answered. “I still need you. Fuck, I need you so much it hurts.”

  “Then take me.”

“I want to watch you come.”

Delilah glanced to the leaves that covered the ground. “That might not feel too comfortable.”

“Here.” Samuel let her go and lifted himself into the log. He laid down on his back against the moss. The image of him naked, his cock pointing in the sky a bit from his belly, stole her breath from her lungs. He was an Adonis, sensually beautiful in his nudity.

He offered her his hand with a smile. “Come on, cowgirl. Ride me.”

She wrapped her hand in his. It took a bit for her to climb the log, but soon she was straddling him and a bit of the fallen tree. She gripped his shoulders to steady herself. He caught a nipple that hovered precariously over his mouth with his teeth. She whimpered as he sucked, lapping at the nub as he held onto her hips again.

  “Baby, please,” he begged.

She nodded as she lifted herself up and wrapped her fingers around him. She guided his tip to her swollen flesh. With a groan, she impaled herself with him. It took two or three hard thrusts to fill her. He wasn’t all the way in.

She rocked against him, her mind void of everything but the feel of his cock inside her. He guided her up and down. She gazed down as he threw his head back; his neck arched as he moaned. This image blew the previous image she held away. He was sex incarnate, and he gave himself to her. She bounced faster and faster as the knot in her belly unwound, unleashing a fire that consumed her. She cursed. She whimpered. She cried out as the orgasm burned through her.

By the throbbing inside her and the bruising grip Samuel had on her, she could tell he joined her.

Delilah laid her head on his chest to listen to his stampeding heart. Samuel tenderly brushed the damp curls from her face. The sheen of sweat on his body mingled with hers. He shifted his ass beneath her. His erect cock slipped out and then in. She gasped at the invasion.

  “Still?” she asked.

Samuel chuckled. “Oh yes. I hope you got sleep. It’s going to be a long morning for both of us.”

Delilah groaned as she lifted her head. She kissed him deep, parting his mouth for her tongue to tangle with his. Her body ached. Her mind was numb. Her soul wanted more. She was ready to give him whatever he wanted.

It had been a long time since Delilah slept that soundly. It had also been a long time since she had that much sex in such a short time period. She didn’t know how or when she ended up back in the cabin, but she was there. The buzzing of the insects were at a distance now. The moss and leaves were replaced by what she could only guess was a blanket-covered couch. She hadn’t opened her eyes yet to see for certain. For all she knew, her clothes were scuttled all over the forest floor. She was probably lying in the living room of the cabin butt-ass naked.

The only familiarity she had to her romp in the outdoors was the naked, aroused man curled up to her. She couldn’t help but snuggle closer to him. He moaned in his sleep.

She fluttered her eyes open and looked at the room around her. She smiled as she found her clothes neatly folded beside the couch. For being an ass, Samuel Hallow could be one hell of a good man.

She felt a soft kiss on her shoulder. It was followed by Sam’s voice. “Morning.”

  “Is it?” Delilah queried.

  Samuel laughed. “Don’t honestly know.”

Delilah hugged his arm draped over her closer. “So how’d I end up here?”

“I carried you in. Didn’t figure you wanted to get bitten to death out by the lake.”

“We were out by the lake?”

“Yep. We covered some pretty decent ground.”

Delilah laughed. “Well, thank you for saving me from the mosquitos.”

  “Minnesota state bird, you know.”

“I was born and raised in Duluth. I know.” She let go of him long enough to wave around her. “And your brothers and their wives.”

“Sleeping. Mating. I don’t honestly know.”

“And we’re naked on the couch.”

The trail of kisses he left on her neck and shoulders turned her into a puddle of goo in his arms. She trembled at his touch on her breast. “Is there a problem with it?”

“No.” She moaned. “But won't they mind?”

“You know that pull that kept you here when you should have been hauling ass back to Duluth? They feel it too. It’s driving them to mate. And it’s working double time so they’ll breed.”

  Delilah froze in place. “Breed?”

“Yeah, breed. I told you to go. I pretty much begged you to. I knew you would hate me if you stayed.”

“Why do you keeping saying that? Why are you so afraid I’ll hate you?”

Sam was quiet for a bit. “It would kill me if you hated me.”

“I don’t think it’s possible for me to hate you.”

“Trust me. Spend time with me. You will.”

  “Why do you say that?”

“I’m not the worst of the seven beasts of Satan. Cay gets that honor. But I run a close second. I am an asshole. I only care about myself.”

  “You care about Henry.”

Sam was silent again for a minute. “How is he? Is he all right?”

Delilah’s answer was colder than she had hoped. “He’s fine.”

  “What the fuck’s your problem?”

Delilah sighed. “Nothing. It’s my problem. You two are so in love with each other. Maybe I’m a little jealous of what you have.”

“You want that love with Henry.”

“I didn’t say that. It took a tremendous amount of courage to stand up to your family and tell them about Henry. Maybe I’m envious of the love you show him.”

“Why can’t you have the same thing? I can love more than one person.”

  Delilah laughed. “Are you sayin
g that you love me?”

She waited for his reaction to what she said. She half expected him to climb off the couch to escape her or to laugh himself silly. She said the “L” word. Her past proved that guys weren’t fans of it. Not even Henry. He stopped calling her for three months when she confessed that she was in love with him when they were in college. She learned to keep her feelings to herself. That was until now.

Sam snuggled closer to her as he held her tighter against him. The way his swollen cock nestled in the cleft of her ass made her shudder. He started another line of soft, sensual kisses along the back of her neck and shoulders. “Dee, we barely know each other. We have a long way to go yet. But I have no intention of letting you go. You are mine. You belong to me.”

Had any other guy in her past said that to her, she would have told them to fuck off. She didn’t get to where she was depending on some man. She did it on her own. Instead, she cuddled closer to him and sighed.

He chuckled. “Are you okay with that? I mean, you are a big shot archeologist. Ballbuster too from what I understand.”

She turned toward him. “How’d you know that?”

“Google. I Googled you. A lot.”

She smiled. “Fundamentally, no. I should tell you to go to hell. But I don’t want to. If I belong to you, then you belong to me.”

  “You and Henry.”

  She huffed. “Right.”

Samuel cocked a grin. “Just like you belong to both of us. Right now, though, you’re all mine.”

“You’re starting to not make sense there, Samuel Hallow.”

  “What makes you say that?”

“I’m yours, then yours and Henry’s, and now back to yours.”

His laugh sent a tiny orgasm through her. That and his finger rubbing the sensitive flesh between her thighs. “Well, the blood is draining from my brain. It’s got more important places to be.”

Her voice was a breath when she answered. “Where is that?”

“In my cock. Deep, deep inside you.”

“Hmm. I like the sound of that.”

Samuel slid his hand down her thigh and then lifted her leg up to prop it on his. The tip of his erection nudged the vee between her legs. He nibbled at her jugular as he arched his hips, filling her. He drove harder and faster, each stroke burying him until she fully enveloped him. She sighed, surrendering to him as he cupped her breasts in his hands, bringing one mound to his lips to suck on the nub.
