The sheer power Raul possessed never ceased to amaze and excite Brandon. He was carried to the bedroom with no more effort than Raul carried a bag of take-out.

The moment they hit the bed, Brandon rolled to his side and grabbed the lube. “I need you.” He slathered a generous amount over Raul’s thick cock. “I love you.”

Raul leaned over Brandon, licked along his neck and rumbled in Brandon’s ear, “I love you more.”

Brandon was rolled onto his stomach. The scratch of coarse hair against the back of his thighs made his breath catch and his heart beat faster. Raul pressed into Brandon, his knots swelling and tying them together almost immediately. He held Brandon to him with an arm around his hips and stroked one finger of his other hand just over Brandon’s cock, but not touching him. Instead Raul let Brandon’s electrical field do the work, sending jolt after jolt along Brandon’s aching, weeping cock.

They didn’t last long. Raul made a noise that was part howl and part groan as he pumped hot liquid into Brandon. The shuddering of Raul’s body sent Brandon tumbling over the edge, or maybe it was the other way around, Brandon couldn’t tell.

What Brandon did know was his werewolf wasn’t going to be lurking in the desert challenging coyotes to a howl-off at night anymore. Come morning Brandon would wake up with Raul draped over him, always keeping Brandon safe.

  Epilogue

“What if they don’t like me? Maybe we should wait another—”

Raul wrapped one hand around Brandon’s waist and crushed them together, using a quick kiss to stop Brandon from talking. He leaned back but didn’t let go. “Hush. We’ve lived together for six months. It’s past time you met my daughters, hell you’ve already spent more time with my wife than I’d have preferred.”

Brandon wiggled out of Raul’s arms and snorted. “Stop calling her your wife.”

Raul snickered. “We were never married. We just—”

“Jerk.” Brandon shoved at Raul’s shoulder. “But what if they…”

“Stop talking!” Raul held Brandon by the shoulders. “All they want to know is if daddy’s boyfriend, the man who they have to share his heart with is cute.” Raul signed dramatically. “I assured them you’re adorable, for a human of course.”

Brandon’s eyes narrowed but he was smiling.

“Besides, they both love video games and computers. The three of you can geek out all you want. Nicole wants to go into computer programming and will probably talk your ear off about it. I love you, so they’ll love you.”

“They’re teenage girls,” Brandon reminded him. “They’ll judge.”

Raul smiled and shrugged. “You got me there, but they’ll do that anyway, Sparky. They’ll judge both of us six ways to Sunday, but they’ll still like you. You’re in our family now. They’re both sweet girls and all they care about is that I’m happy being with you. It’s the werewolf way.”

A vehicle pulling up their driveway ended their conversation. Raul took Brandon’s hand and squeezed gently. Having his daughters meet the man he intended to spend the rest of his life with was daunting.

“This is scarier that Bisset and his lunatic band of human traffickers,” Brandon muttered.

Raul was inclined to agree. “We got through that together.”

“We did.” Brandon rocked up on his toes and kissed Raul’s cheek. The doorbell rang and Brandon whispered, “We sure did.”

Raul gave Brandon’s hand another squeeze and opened the door. Neither of his girls were shy and if Brandon felt overwhelmed it didn’t show. Later that night they’d join the rest of Raul’s family at the hacienda to celebrate Raul officially declaring Brandon as a member of their family. For a werewolf the event was the equivalent of marriage vows and not entered into lightly.

It was a big step, but Raul and Brandon were ready. They had each other, they had a family who loved and accepted both of them and life could only get better.

Mystery, action, chills, and thrills spiced with romance and desire. ELIZABETH NOBLE lives by the adage "I can't not write." She doesn't remember a time when she didn't make up stories and eventually she learned how to put words on a page. Those words turned into books and fan fiction that turned into a genuine love of M/M fiction. A part of every day is spent living in worlds she created that are filled with intrigue and espionage. She has a real love for a good mystery complete with murder and twisty plots as well as all things sci-fi, futuristic, and supernatural.

When she's not chronicling the adventures of her many characters, Elizabeth is a veterinary nurse living in her native Cleveland, Ohio. She has three grown children and now happily shares her little, brick house with an adorable mixed breed canine princess, a spunky Cardigan Welsh Corgi and their sidekick, tabby cat. Elizabeth is a fan of baseball, basketball (go Cavs and Indians) and gardening. She can often be found working in her 'outside office' listening to classic rock and plotter her next novel waiting for it to be dark enough to gaze at the stars.

Elizabeth has received a number of amateur writing awards. Since being published, several of her novels have received Honorable Mentions in the Rainbow Awards. Jewel Cave was a runner-up in the Gay Mystery/Thriller category in the 2015 Rainbow Awards. Ringed Love was a winner in the Gay Fantasy Romance category of the 2016 Rainbow Awards.
