Uprising of the Exiled (Splintered Galaxy Book 2) Page 48

by Eddie R. Hicks

  Afterword

Thanks for reading! I hope you all enjoyed the second installment in the series. Fun fact: the Splintered Galaxy saga was originally planned to be a trilogy, but then came book 2. My original plan for book 2 turned out to be a lot longer than I intended. There was supposed to be much more happening in the background and elsewhere in the galaxy. As a result, I had to make several revisions to the story, moving chunks of the plot into future books.

Stick around for the third book, which will be much more action packed (complete with epic space battles). It will spend less time on Earth and more time in the many worlds beyond it. A few characters from book 1 who weren’t involved in book 2 might just appear as well.

As mentioned before, if you enjoyed this book, please leave a review here, I’d love to read your feedback.

Chloe and Jazz will return in Equilibrium of Terror: Part 1 this summer. Join my mailing list to stay in the loop of its release and future promos!

Ella sat in her brig cell. Her hands removed a spoon from her mouth, which had just deposited the last scrap of chicken noodle soup, her meal for the night. Two guards made their way out the sliding doors, bickering about Jazz’s failed attempt to convince the president to fake her death.

She held the spoon firmly in her hands and looked intently at it, never taking her eyes off it. Seconds turned into minutes, and she continued to hold on to the spoon, glaring at its shiny and silvery surface.

The guard watching her dropped the book he was reading when he saw what happened next.

  The spoon bent in half.
