Can't Resist You (Being Yours Series Book 4)

“Drew.” Tara moans sleepily.
I start to move inside her, slowly, making sure she fully wakes up.
“Please.” Tara moans louder, sleep no longer lingers in her voice.
“Roll over to your stomach, slowly so you don’t lose my dick, yeah.” She does what I ask, and I move with her, then pull her by the hips so she’s on her knees. Her hands stretching forward, grasping the headboard of the bed.
“Drew.” Her breath hitches and I start to move inside her again, moving my hands to squeeze her ass.
“Perfect god damn ass.” I groan at the sight of it. Moving a hand off her I shove it between us, getting it wet with her juices and slowly move it into her ass, causing her to tighten her walls around my cock.
I pick up the pace, she might not like anal sex, but she loves a little ass play. Always causes her to lose control faster. I stick another finger in her ass and keep them lodged in there as I pound away at her cunt. “Where you want it babe.” I ask her as I feel my balls tighten.
“Spray me baby.” She moans.
"Come first, I feel you almost there.” I tell her, as I start to take her rougher and grind my fingers harder inside her ass.
When she comes, I’m not far behind. Pulling my dick out she turns over quickly and I coat her tits with my cum. I groan at the sight of her covered in me. “Beautiful.” I shoot her a wink and quickly grab my shirt off the floor so she can clean up. She hates that shit on her, but when we’re in the moment, she lets it happen.
I lean over her, avoiding the mess on her chest and kiss her. “We gotta get moving, otherwise we’re spending the day here.”
She gives me a wicked grin. “I wouldn’t mind that, and hell, I could totally get used to waking up like this every morning,” she tells me.
I shoot her a wink and slap her ass as she gets up. “How about a quickie in the shower and we stop at Tim Hortons for breakfast?”
“You got yourself a deal, handsome.” She walks naked into the bathroom and starts the shower.
Fuck yeah, definitely could get used to this. Hell, I think I already am, and I never want to let it go.
*~*
Getting to my office with my coffee mug in my hand I notice the Captain waiting for me. “Sir, good morning.”
“Yes, yes, morning. It’s come to my attention that you’re in a relationship with Miss Webb,” he states.
I nod. “Yes, sir.”
“I don’t need to remind you that this relationship is to stay outside of this building, right?”
“Of course not, sir. I wouldn’t do that here. What we do outside of work hours is our business. We also live together, so anything else you want to say?” He’s pissing me off, and I’ve had a damn good morning, and don’t need his shit now.
“I noticed that in her personal file, when she changed her address.” He nods and goes to leave. “Just so we’re clear, if your personal life affects your job, I will not hesitate to let you go. I’d say I would let her go, since she’s new, but I really don’t need those damn bikers at my door if that happens.”
I narrow my eyes at him but say nothing. Normally he’s pretty laid back, so something or someone must be crawling up his ass about this shit. When he leaves, I pick up the phone on my desk and call my contact at city hall.
“City Hall front desk, this is Jana, how can I help you.”
“Hey, Jana. It’s Drew.”
“Dude, you haven’t called in forever, what’s up?”
“Need a favor. Captain Sparrow is up my ass for some damn reason about my relationship with Tara Webb. He’s never had an issue with me before or with anyone else that became involved here. Can you find out what’s up with that?”
“Aww, the mighty Drew, in loooove.” She giggles and I roll my eyes. “But yes, absolutely, the second I find anything I’ll call you and let you know. Later.” She hangs up and I sit down in my chair.
Chapter 23
Tara
Keller’s Secret
“Drew.” I pant as he pounds into me roughly from behind. Fuck I love when he does this.
“Take it,” he growls, his hand coming around my front to play with my clit. I know he’s almost there when he does this.
Seconds later we’re both laying on his bed, out of breath. He pulls me close, wrapping me up in his arms.
Letting out a breath, I roll over to face him, his arms only budging enough to let me. “Keller comes home tomorrow, what are we going to do?”
I feel torn. I don’t want to be with Keller, but could I really go from dating Keller to being with Drew. Isn’t there a friend code? Although that shit sort of flew out the window the moment Drew and I started fucking around.
“I’ll be by your side. I won’t let him tear you down, especially when it comes to us,” he tells me firmly. “But not sure if you’re avoiding his texts or he’s just not texting you, he won’t be home for a while yet. The team won the last few games, so it’s at least another month gone.” Relief fills me, thank god, that was something I wasn’t looking forward to dealing with yet. And yes, I have been avoiding his calls, mostly just sending him quick texts back once every few days.
“Why can’t I just break up with him, and not tell him about us?” I finally ask. “He’ll find out we’re together eventually. Better yet, just do it over the phone before he gets home?” That would be so much easier, I wouldn’t have to face him.
His arms go tense. “Why not? We’re together, Tara. I’m not letting you go. He should know the truth. This is something you should have taken care of months ago when he was home, before he left. Instead I had to listen to him fucking you in the next room over. You were faking, and we weren’t together, not then, but fuck no. Not fucking happening again.”
“Drew,” I whisper. I know this hurts him. But I don’t want to be known as a cheater, it’s already killing me inside.
“Stop, Tara. Stop fighting us. I’m not hiding the fact that you’re mine any longer.” I move out of his arms, and surprisingly he lets me. “And as much of an asshole Keller is and can be, you ain’t doing that shit over phone either, break ups are face to face. And I will be there when it happens.”
“I can’t hurt him like that. He’s your best friend, we can’t do this to him. Let me just end it and we’ll go from there.”
His jaw clenched as he gets off the bed, searching for his pants. “Hurt him? What about how he’s hurting you, Tara? Huh? How he fucks anything with a hole, the entire time you’ve been together!” He shouts at me.
I narrow my eyes at him. “What the hell are you talking about?”
“You’re so fucking blind. All this time you were killing yourself with the thoughts of us being together, when he doesn’t even give a flying fuck about you. Since day one that fucker has slept around on you.”
“You’re lying. You’re just saying this to hurt me, to make me feel vindicated or some shit. Why are you doing this?”
He throws his phone towards me and I flinch as it connects with my thigh. “Look at that if you don’t believe me.”
I get off his bed and slip back into my pajamas. Refusing to look at his phone. Even if I could believe Drew right now, two wrongs don’t make a right.
“Where are you going?” he asks me, blocking my way out of his room.
“I’m leaving. Move,” I demand.
“No fucking way, we’re gonna talk.” He leans against the door that is my only exit.
“If it’s true, and that’s a big if, why wouldn’t you have told me before now, huh?”
He grabs my arms, giving me a shake. “Because I didn’t want to hurt you okay. I know Keller, he’s never been loyal a day in his life to any of his ex’s. For fuck sake, he has his baby mama sitting up in an apartment downtown.”
I pull back in shock. Keller has a kid? No, Keller would have told me. “Move out of my way, Drew.”
“No.”
The second he moves an inch from the door I shove him and quickly leave, but before I can get
close to the front of the house someone is at the door. Ringing the bell and knocking like a friggin madman.
“Who the fuck is that?” Drew storms out of the room behind me. “You stay, we’re not done talking.”
Ignoring him, I follow him to the front door, almost falling on my face when LF runs between my legs.
“The fuck you want?” his voice radiating anger says to a small woman holding a little girl with light blonde curls, as she barges into the house, looking pissed.
“Where the hell is Keller?” she shouts, setting the little girl down on the floor with what looks like a teething ring. “He’s late with my money and she needs diapers.” I stare at this woman, she looks like she could have been a model, long blonde hair with chocolate highlights, skinny as hell, but a slight pouch at her stomach.
“That’s not my problem, and you know where that asshole is, he gets home when he gets home, you know this shit,” Drew replies.
“Then it looks like I’m gonna wait right here until he gets his ass home. I promised him I wouldn’t go to the press to reveal his daughter as long as he was on time with the money, but the fucker is on his last strike.”
The blow hits me and I stumble backwards, catching myself on the edge of the couch. What Drew said was true, Keller is a dad.
“Who are you?” the woman asks me, finally noticing me in the room.
“Keller’s girlfriend,” I reply, and Drew’s anger is starting to reach extreme levels.
“Not for long,” he hisses.
Her eyes narrow at me as she takes me in. “How long?”
“Too long, especially to not even know the fucker had a kid,” Drew replies for me.
“I’m surprised, the idiot can’t keep it in his pants for the life of him. He’s still fucking me you know. Usually comes by three, four times a month, in between getting pussy from the clubs, parties, or at the rink. Hell, his last girlfriend, Chelsea was with him for years, only finding out he was cheating when I showed up pregnant at her clinic.” I’m gonna be sick. How could I have missed all the signs? How could I be so stupid?
And Drew, he fucking knew the entire time. For months him and I have done this dance with each other, feeling guilt every single time I fell on his cock, and he never once said a word. How could Drew keep that from me? I get bro-code and all, but we started an us, shouldn’t that come first? Hell, that’s something he should have told me the second I moved in, at least. Even if we weren’t together. How could he look at me, talk to me, anything with me, knowing all the shit Keller was doing?
I’m just as in the wrong as Keller is though. We’ve both cheated, right from the start neither one of us was honest with each other. This is all so messed up.
Chapter 24
Drew
The hurt in Tara’s eyes is unmistakable. “I’m going to my room, and, Drew,” she turns to me, “I’m to be left alone. And I mean it.” I want to shout fuck no, but she needs time, and I get it.
“Here, take this, please, I know it’s fucked up how this came out, I’ve been trying to find a way to tell you without losing your trust, but just. Please look.” I give her my cell phone, this way she can see all of Keller’s messages to me as proof.
She takes it, hesitantly and moves down the hall to her room, but not before turning to Becky, “You really shouldn’t just stick your baby on a floor like that.” She tells her and I almost smile. Becky doesn’t reply as Tara continues to her room.
“Pretty, real pretty. She seems smart. I’m surprised she fell for Keller. And you, damn, the almighty Drew, always yapping at Keller like a little bitch about not doing what’s right, and here you are, fucking his woman,” Becky says.
“Bitch, you need to get out of my house, you don’t know shit, and you’re a fine one to talk,” I growl at her.
She picks her kid back up off the floor and glares at me. “When is Keller supposed to be back?”
“At least a month from now, but if his team keeps winning games, could be longer. You know this shit. Again, not sure why you’re here.”
“I need money, and he’s late with it, I already told you this.”
This shit is really none of my concern. I shake my head. “I don’t get it, why do you need Keller’s money? Aren’t you an heiress?” I never understood her shit, she comes from a rich family, she used to be in all the gossip rags, and now she’s looking like trailer trash.
She narrows her eyes at me. “If you must know, Daddy cut me off because Cameron wouldn’t marry me, especially being knocked up by a dirty hockey hick. I should have given this baby up or had an abortion. This shit is not worth it. At all.” She storms out of the house, slamming the door behind her. Cameron was never going to marry Becky, met him last year when he came this way to win his wife back. Becky had it in her fucked up head that after Cameron followed his father’s Will stipulations, he would divorce his wife and marry her. Bitch even had the nerve to start planning the wedding and sent out wedding invitations before the terms were up.
Fuck, that crazy bitch. I’ll have to make sure to let Keller know this shit, not like he’d probably care since he doesn’t seem to want to be a dad anyways. Not sure why those two kept that baby, if they didn’t want it, they should have given her up for adoption.
Once I hear her car start up, I make my way to find Tara. I have so much shit to explain and apologize for now. I just hope she’s calmed down enough to hear me out.
“Tara,” I call as I knock on her door. “We need to talk. I shouldn’t have told you that way, and I’m sorry you had to find out like that, but let me in. We can work through this.”
Silence is all I get back. My god she’s one stubborn woman. I turn the knob, realize it isn’t locked, and open the door. “What the fuck?” It looks like a tornado went through here. My first thought is that someone broke in and tossed it, but when I look to the window, it’s not open and it’s locked. Then on the bed, I see my phone, with a note underneath.
Drew,
I just need some time to think about what went down, especially since a lot of what happened today, you should have told me way before now. I’m not running away and I’m going to spend the weekend with my family, get some clarity on what has become my life. I read your messages from Keller like you asked, and you were right. But it still isn’t right what we’re doing. No matter who is in the wrong.
As Reaper once told me. Love is never wrong, and I believe him. I love you. But I have to think about what the repercussions will be when this relationship we have comes out to Keller.
Just give me some time. I’ll be back.
Love Tara
I sit on her bed and everything goes fuzzy. She’s gone. Grabbing my phone, I hit call on her number, and it goes straight to voicemail. “Tara, please call me back, or fuck, just come home. I want to fix this. I need to fix this. I promise you everything will be okay, we’ll work this out, get through it together. I love you, Tara. I fucking hate that the first time I tell you that it’s over your damn voicemail, but there it is. I love you.”
I hang up and fall back on her bed. I read her letter again, the urge to call her until she answers or to drive to Airdrie right now to get her is strong. But she’s right. I need to let her be for a bit. It’s just a weekend, then she’ll be back.
My phone dings with a text and I see it’s a new image. Of course, it’s Keller, ass fucking some chick over a pool table. Why he fucking sends me shit like that, I don’t know. He knows I ain’t into his fucked-up bullshit.
I end up hitting the spam button on him, this way I don’t get his damn texts anymore and head towards his room. Time to pack his shit up, because if he thinks he’s staying here when he gets back, he has another thing coming.
Before I get the chance to start throwing his shit into a box, my phone rings, and I see it’s Jana from City Hall. “Yeah, what you got for me?” I answer.
I hear her sigh. “Well, it’s not all that good. Have a friend, he’s good at hacking shit, he got into the Captain
’s email and bank records. Now before I get into that, gotta tell you, heard some talk behind closed doors. Captain Sparrow is into some bad debts with the Untamed MC.” Fuck, that’s not good. “Now for the emails, the Captain knows he’s being watched, but not by who. He had pressure from the Angels Warriors to hire Tara. I’m guessing they somehow knew about the shit he’s into and for how much, and this was a blackmail scheme.”
“That’s why he’s been a dick lately.”
“Yup, more than that though, combing his bank records and shit. He is a sick freak. Frequents the Untamed’s whore houses. And is also into the Jacks Devils for coke. He’s so far in debt from that shit it isn’t funny. Credits cards are maxed out, bank is overdrawn.” She sighs, and I hear her shuffling papers around. “Then this is where it gets worse. He’s trying to find a reason to let Tara go, not because she’s bad at her job, but because he’s trying to arrange her getting picked up by the Jacks so they can get ransom for her from the Angels.”
"What the fuck?” I roar into the phone, causing LF who was just about to come to me, to startle and run away.
“He tried going to the Untamed about it, they shut him down. Seems the Untamed have family members in the Angels and said there was no way in hell that was happening, and if they found out Captain was gonna do that, they’d take him out themselves. Now it seems we have a war starting between two of the worst clubs in the country, and it’s all because of the Captain.”
“Mother fucker. This shit is whacked.” I start pacing, trying to figure out what to do with this shit. I can’t exactly take it to the Mayor since it was obtained illegally.
“I agree, it’s also why I sent everything I have over to the Angels as I was dialing your number, so they can act quickly.”
