Chance to Bloom Page 23

by Dillon Hunter

  Exactly where it should be.

“Right,” Jack said, the playful note in his voice trembling with something more urgent, now. “Forever, just like I said.”

“What was that… you were saying… about keeping your promises?” Ethan asked, his brain already starting to slow down as Jack started grinding against him, his cock as hard as Ethan’s.

Jack laughed, capturing Ethan’s hands and raising them over his head; holding him there as he rolled his hips, sliding the thick length of his erection against Ethan again and again, as if he had nothing better to do with his morning than drive Ethan crazy.

“What did I promise you, babe?” Jack asked, dipping his head down to nip the sensitive skin just under Ethan’s ear. “Because yeah, I’m always gonna keep my promises. Always.”

Ethan moaned, tipping his head back to give Jack better access.

“Ethan?” Jack asked again, his laughter vibrating through Ethan’s entire body and turning him on even more. “You wanted something?”

“You,” Ethan managed. Then, when Jack only laughed again, he got the rest of it out, “Naked, Jack. Don’t make me wait. Please.”

“Anything,” Jack said, moving fast enough to prove that he’d just been teasing Ethan all along. With a wicked grin, Jack made quick work of stripping off Ethan’s clothes, and before he knew it, Jack had him laid out on the bed.

  Naked, like he’d asked.

  But Jack wasn’t naked yet.

“Jack,” Ethan started, reaching for him.

“No, babe.” Jack said, staring down at him almost reverently. “I’ve… I’ve dreamed of this. Of you, like this. Just give me a minute.”

Jack’s hot gaze was ramping up his arousal, but even as Ethan started to stroke himself, he had to laugh. “Jack, we have done this before.”

“Not like this,” Jack said, finally starting to unbutton his own shirt. “Now we’re engaged. Ethan, you said yes.”

The overpowering emotion in his voice shot straight to Ethan’s heart, and despite the heavy pulsing heat in his cock, his hand went still for a moment. Jack was right. It was different. Over the last year, they’d come to know each other’s bodies almost better than they’d known their own, but now Jack was the man Ethan was going to marry. That feeling, that certainty—the knowledge that neither of them was going anywhere—made it… perfect.

“Kiss me,” Ethan said as Jack stepped out of his pants, finally naked, too.

And Jack did, crawling onto the bed and covering Ethan’s body with his, fitting their bodies together the way they were meant to be, skin on skin, from chest to thighs.

  Heart to heart.

God, as Jack’s lips made love to his mouth, Ethan knew for sure that he could stay like that forever and never get tired of it. Loving the feel of Jack’s body as it pinned him against the bed and the delicious friction and electric heat of their cocks grinding against each other.

“Love you,” Jack murmured without breaking contact. “So much.”

The words filled Ethan’s heart all over again… and, when Jack punctuated them with another perfect roll of his hips, a wave of heat surged through him, making his cock start to throb.

  Urgently.

“Fuck, Ethan. You feel so perfect,” Jack said, his mouth moving lower. Sending that heat through him again and again as he moved down Ethan’s neck… teased his nipples and then moved on to press hot, wet kisses against Ethan’s stomach. “I need to be inside you, babe.”

“Yes,” Ethan gasped, loving the slow torture of Jack’s mouth but not wanting to wait. Not sure if he’d be able to. “Oh my God, yes.”

The words were barely out of his mouth before Jack’s fingers were pressing against his entrance—already slick with lube that Ethan hadn’t even noticed him grabbing.

“Let me see you, babe,” Jack said, raising himself up to watch. “I want to look into those beautiful eyes when I’m inside you.”

“Yes, please.” Ethan’s voice was caught between a whisper and a moan as Jack’s first finger entered him, preparing him, stretching him while Jack did exactly that.

And oh God, the feel of Jack’s hot, loving gaze on him while that finger thrust in and out—slowly, and then faster. Better. Hitting the spot that made it perfect.

“Mmmnnnnnnn,” Ethan moaned, pushing back against Jack’s hand as he pulled his knees up and held Jack’s gaze. “That’s… Jack… so good. So good.”

Jack’s look went from hot to incinerating as Ethan let him see how much he loved it, and then his other hand was around Ethan’s cock, stroking it in the same perfect rhythm he was using on Ethan’s ass.

“Oh, fuck,” Ethan panted, his eyes starting to roll back in his head. “Oh… God. Jack… yes…” He writhed on the bed as a second finger slipped inside. “I’m ready, Jack. So ready. I need you.”

Jack’s eyes were hooded with desire. “Do you know how much I love it when you come for me?” he asked in a low growl, not letting up. “How much I love being the one who gives you that?”

“Jack,” Ethan panted, the words and the hot, smoldering look Jack shot him almost enough to push him over the edge. “You give me… everything. God, I need you so bad.”

“I’ve needed you my whole life,” Jack said, groaning with desire as he finally pulled his fingers out. It left Ethan feeling too empty, too suddenly, but he knew the feeling wouldn’t last for long. Jack made quick work of preparing himself, and Ethan’s heart swelled with love as he watched this man—his fiancé—the chance he’d let himself take and the promise of everything he’d ever wanted—look at him with the forever he’d promised right there in his eyes.

  Ethan’s.

He trusted Jack—always—to give him what he needed.

  To love him.

  Cherish him.

And to let Ethan love Jack the way he deserved, too.

“Didn’t know it could be this good,” Jack ground out, making Ethan moan again as he finally—finally—pressed the thick head of his cock right where Ethan needed it. “Never believed this could be real.”

“I love you, Jack Davis,” Ethan said, staring up into his eyes. “Forever.”

Jack made the sexiest sound Ethan had ever heard, thrusting inside him in one long, slow glide that felt like it filled him up completely. Body, heart, and soul.

“You’re so beautiful, babe,” Jack said, leaning down to kiss Ethan slowly and deeply as he pulled back and then thrust deep again.

  And again.

And then—tipping Ethan’s hips up and proving he really did know Ethan’s body perfectly—again, in exactly the right spot to make him see heaven.

  “Jack.”

  “Yeah,” Jack growled. “Like that.”

“Oh… God… yes,” Ethan tried to agree, starting to feel incapable of forming actual sentences as Jack started driving into him faster, hitting his prostate every time.

  It was heaven. Pure heaven.

Ethan closed his eyes and tossed his head back, but forced them open again when he remembered what Jack had said.

I want to look into those beautiful eyes when I’m inside you.

Jack was fucking him so well. Making love to him. And Ethan knew his man, knew that Jack would give and give and give until the pleasure overwhelmed him—but Ethan wanted to give Jack what he’d asked for, too. Wanted to share every moment, every feeling, every look with this man—this perfect man who was going to be his husband, this amazing man who’d learned to open his heart and, in doing so, taught Ethan how to trust again, too.

“Do you know… what I… see?” Jack asked, his words punching out with each thrust.

Ethan moaned, wrapping his hand around his cock and starting to stroke himself in time with Jack’s hard thrusts.

“Everything,” Jack said, not making Ethan answer.

  “Yes,” Ethan gasped.

Yes, this love was everything. Yes, it was real and true and forever. And yes—fucking God yes—Ethan was going to come. For Jack. For love. For them
.

  Forever.

“Come with me, Ethan,” Jack groaned, his rhythm starting to stutter as his gorgeous face scrunched up with his own impending release. “Marry me.”

“Yes,” Ethan cried, his hips bucking as his climax took him over the edge. It was so good. So overwhelming. And he was laughing, grinning up at the man he loved through gasping breaths that were as much orgasm as pure joy.

Hot jets spilled over his fist and onto his stomach, and as Jack gave one more powerful thrust—his already thick cock filling Ethan completely as he ground out Ethan’s name with that low, sexy, gravelly voice that Ethan would never tire of hearing—Ethan’s body shuddered with the force of his release.

For several seconds, Ethan couldn’t open his eyes. Hadn’t even realized they’d closed. He simply enjoyed the moment, the feeling that was so close to floating, to being weightless, the only thing tethering him to the ground was the connection he had with Jack. And then Jack’s body was on top of his, pressing against him and rolling him over onto his side as their lips met.

  Perfection.

That was the time Ethan loved the most, when he couldn’t tell where his body ended and Jack’s began. When Jack’s softening cock was still inside him, and they were still connected in the most complete, most intimate way.

“I love you,” Ethan whispered, kissing Jack again, just because he could. Then he grinned against Jack’s lips. “But did you ask me to marry you again?”

Jack laughed, a pink stain spreading across his cheeks. “Maybe… I kinda like hearing you say yes.”

“Okay,” Ethan said, lips twitching. “I can do that.”

  “Yeah?”

“Yeah. Every day. All my yeses. They’re yours.”

And then Jack’s eyes were welling up, and his lips were on Ethan’s again, and his heart… that big, beautiful, made-for-forever heart, was pounding against Ethan’s chest.

The two of them in perfect sync.

  Together.

  Forever.

  About the Author

Dillon Hunter loves a good love story, especially when it involves two men, a little romance, and a whole lot of sizzle. In a previous life, he wrote shorter fiction of different genres, but just recently gathered the confidence and patience to begin writing the M/M romance stories he’s been longing to tell. He draws plenty of inspiration from his misspent youth and former dating misadventures, but can always count on his loving (and eternally patient) husband as inspiration for those steamy, dreamy, happily-ever-after endings.
