  End of Wolf....

After about ten feet, Eija saw Apollo and yelled, “Fire in the—”

Someone dove for her and tossed her into the bush line.

The breath was knocked from her as something heavy landed on top of her. Gasping for air, she heard the grenade go off.

“Dammit, woman!” Wolf raised his body up from of hers. He stared at her neck and sucked his breath in.

“It’s just a graze, Wolf,” she muttered.

“Good God almighty!” Apollo shouted from far off.

Rising up, Eija pushed at Wolf’s chest.

Grabbing her, he shook his head. “You are not going anywhere.”

“Well, I think she’ll be fairly safe,” Apollo now spoke from above them.

They both peered up at him.

“Joel, Adam and Bullet are now a special blend, all over the forest...As wolf food! May his foul, evil soul rest in hell, Amen. Too bad, he won’t get... a headstone!” He laughed uproariously at his own jokes.

Turning her gaze up to Wolf, Eija waited for his reaction.

Finally, Wolf lowered his face to look at her. “Damn, woman, remind me to never piss you off.”

Apollo laughed. “Yeah, and you tend to piss off just about everyone too. So be careful... Wolfie has found his match! Better treat her right, man.” He then turned and looked up, his eyes widening. “Well, fuck a duck.”

Wolf rose up and grasped Eija by the arm to pull her up.

They both stood and made their way to step out on the path.

A lone wolf stood there, staring at them. Magnificent and majestic. Large, muscled and definitely an Alpha. He seemed to focus on the man called Wolf.

Their eyes locked as silence fell over the forest.

Eija simply stared back and forth at the Wolf and the man.

Wolf, the man gave the canine a slow nod.

The actual wolf lowered his head a bit then raised it up. Abruptly, he then turned to disappear into the woods.

“Well, that wasn’t weird and spooky at all, was it?” Apollo said his voice full of awe.

Eija stared up at her Wolf. “What was that?”

Wolf peered down at her. “I was back here in the thick part of these woods, about three years ago. I came up on a young wolf who had his leg trapped under a tree. I lifted it off. He got up and ran.” Shrugging, he seemed to dismiss the whole thing as he turned to her. “And you... you think you’re Laura fucking Kroft or some shit?” He raised his voice.

Blinking her eyes, she shrugged. “No, I am Eija Savage... My father’s daughter.”

Apollo threw back his head and belly laughed out loud. “I want a woman like her someday, Wolfie. You are one lucky bastard.”

  Chapter One

Kitty’s hands gripped the steering wheel hard as the sun dipped below the horizon. In the dim light, the face of her phone lit up and she took her eyes off the road for just a moment. It could be him again. She hoped it wasn’t. What the hell was she going to do about this?

The next thing she knew, there was a crash, and something heavy rolled off her hood to the side of the road into the ditch beside her.

“Oh, my God! What the hell did I hit?” She gasped breathlessly as she slammed her brakes, then unsnapped her seatbelt and got out of her vehicle. Her car lights were on as she came up to the front of the vehicle.

What she saw there had her eyes wide open and tears rolling down her face.

A huge form was laying sprawled out on the highway like a fallen angel. His eyes were closed and in the low light, she couldn’t tell if he was bleeding or not.

Kitty knelt beside his shoulders and began patting his face to wake him up. “Oh, please don’t be dead. Please don’t be dead!” she kept ranting.

After a while, he began to move his head and groaning. He pushed her hands away and growled, “What the fuck are you doing to me?”

Kitty sat back and sighed. “Thank you.”

“Thank me for what?” He grunted as he tried to move and found he couldn’t. He hadn’t even opened his eyes yet, he was in so much pain.

“Thank you for not being dead,” she told him.

“Yeah well, the jury is still out on that one, sweet cakes,” he grumbled as he tried to sit up. His must have felt light headed as he slumped against her.

She groaned and swore, “Sweet Jesus man, don’t die on me now.” She pushed him to a sitting position and got to her feet. “Come on, try to stand up. We need to get you somewhere warm.”

He woke up enough to help her get him to his feet.

Slipping under his huge arm, Kitty tried to help him over to her car. It didn’t help she was too short to really help him but she tried.

Groaning in pain, he stumbled over to her car. His legs buckled on him once and she tried to keep him upright. She opened the back door and pushed him toward the back seat. With her help, he climbed in. The injured man tried to settle down but he was too big for her tiny car.

Kitty got behind the wheel and drove away from the site of the accident.

With each bump in the road, he groaned and swore, “Fuck, that hurts!”

She went five miles down the road before she saw a motel. She knew she couldn’t take him with her, so she pulled over and got a room. She parked at the very last room in the row and shut the car off. Peeking in her rear view mirror, she gazed at her unwelcome guest.

She knew from trying to get him up and to her vehicle he was tall and just plain huge all over. Now that she could see him better and he had settled down some, she could see his features much better.

Dark satiny skin, huge biceps, and well...just a large man all over.

She knew she had to get him inside the room before she could look his injuries over. She got out of the car and headed to the motel room door.

Slipping the keycard into the slot, she went ahead and unlocked the door. Turning on the light the room she took note. It wasn’t the best she’d ever been in, but it wasn’t the worst either. Only one king size bed sat in the room but she didn’t know if she could afford to stay here long or if she should keep moving.

Then she gasped, she hadn’t had a chance to look at her last message yet and now, she was afraid to. Her stalker’s threats were getting more violent as of late and she was tired of trying to stay ahead of him.

She propped the door open then went to her car to get her victim. It sounded awful, but he was just that, as she hadn’t been paying attention and hit the poor man. Opening the back door, she wasn’t prepared for him to almost fall out. She had to grab him quick.

He jerked his head up and growled at her. “What the fuck are you doing witch?” he snapped.

“I’m trying to get you out of the car without killing either one of us, you big bully.” She growled right back. “Come on moron, I got you a room.”

The man and tried to untangle his feet and get out of the car. “Sweet holy hell, what kind of torture chamber is this rat trap anyway?” he snapped.

Kitty took a step back and shook her head. “It isn’t much but it’s all I can afford, you monster.” She wanted to snap at him but she knew she was at fault for what happened. So she bit her tongue and slipped under his arm when he finally got free of the vehicle. Shutting the door, she helped him the short way to the door and then inside the room. She pushed him toward the bed and watched as he flopped down on th
e mattress.

He groaned loudly when he hit the bed but then he settled himself on his back and passed out.

“Fuck a screaming duck.” She gritted as she turned to go back to the car to lock up and gather her things. A few minutes later, she came back and closed the door. Peeking through the window to the outside, she didn’t notice anything suspicious. Finally, she turned her attention to her unwanted guest.

Deciding the first thing she had to do was clean him up, she went toward the bathroom and wet a couple of washcloths. Grabbing a towel, she went toward the bed for her first good look at him.

Again, she realized he was a huge specimen of man. At least six foot six inches tall and at least three hundred pounds of pure muscle. She had felt that much in her efforts to help him. He was covered in dirt and grit from the road and some blood. First off, she had to get him clean to find out how hurt he was. Gosh, she should have went to the ER but then the police would be notified and possibly, she would be spotted then by whoever was after her.

This was her first good look too, at what he was wearing. When her eyes fell on his leather vest, she gasped and took a step back. Oh dear lord, he was a biker. She fell to her knees and her breath caught in her throat.

Her eyes now registered the rest of him, his wide chest, and arms. His narrow tight waist, his flat well-muscled belly, and thighs as big as tree trunks. In reality though, all she could see was the patches on his vest.

His club was called the Savaged Souls. Her fingers trembled as she raised them to her mouth to cover the scream she felt coming. As if she didn’t have enough trouble, now she’d hit a biker.

Shaking her head, Kitty knew she shouldn’t panic. Panic and she was dead meat. She figured the quicker she got this done, the quicker she could get out of here and back on the road. She got to her feet, went over to the table, and picked up her phone. She swallowed hard before she looked at it then gasped. Her knees almost buckled yet again, when she read the rest of message that had caused the accident.

She dropped the phone down on the table quickly and almost sobbed in fear. What could she do now?

Hearing his low groan, Kitty gasped and quickly turned toward him. Swiping the tears away from her eyes, she moved closer to him.

Sitting down on the bed next to him, she looked into his face for the first time she’d made contact with him. She saw his big brown eyes looking at her. She gasped softly. His eyes were the color of coffee, dark and warm. His dark skin did look like satin but the angles and planes of his face made him beautiful in her eyes. “Wow, you’re gorgeous aren’t you?” she whispered.
