  “Be quiet,” she ordered.

“Yes, ma’am,” the man said promptly. Natasha smiled. She liked this part of being obeyed.

She bent down to the bottle and glanced around the room. She was sweating, aroused and drunk. Beside her, a woman sucked another guy.

  Then she saw him.

  Dylan.

Her heart went to her mouth and her stomach turned over. She thought she would puke. Dylan was in the middle of a scene, in the corner near the cages. He held a vibrator on a girl who was handcuffed to the cage. She begged him to stop, and he seemed to be very aroused.

Natasha felt furious. She knew how he always preferred to stay home, eating pizza and having sex. He rarely wanted to go out with her to these parties. All the emotions came to the surface at once. The fact that she liked Dylan, but that he was very controlling. How wouldn’t he be? He was a Dom. He was a top. He never wanted to do a bottom scene with her.

And I was just stupid to think that we could work.

“Mike, I’m sorry, but the scene will have to end here,” Natasha told her partner, who sat up, smiling. They exchanged a hug, Natasha gathered her things and walked to where Dylan was, stomping.

Dylan immediately dropped the vibrator when he saw her approaching, angry. Joseph noticed this and frowned.

“How could you come here to spy on me?” Natasha shouted. All of Joseph’s slaves looked at them.

“What? You’re drunk, Natasha. I’m here with another partner and I don’t give a damn about you.” Dylan said.

Natasha slapped him in the face.

Dylan stopped and stared at her, shocked, touching his cheek. It hadn’t hurt much, but he couldn’t believe she did it.

  Joseph intervened:

“We don’t need aggression here, right?”

“Who are you?” Natasha asked, annoyed. Then, she turned to Dylan again, “are you going to tell me you came here simply because you wanted to? And not to watch me? Don’t lie to me, boy.” Natasha snapped, and Dylan didn’t answer.

“It doesn’t matter why I came, what matters is that I didn’t even go after you. You came here. And it was you who disappeared without telling me anything first.”

“It’s because I don’t have to tell you anything,” Natasha said.

“Yes, you do, because we were dating, and that’s what a decent human being does. I thought you were a decent human being.”

“You two, I’ll have to ask you to leave if you continue,” Joseph said, firm. “This’s a safe place and not a place for such discussions. This doesn’t fit BDSM.”

“Sorry, Master,” Dylan said, getting embarrassed. He was dizzy and sick, just wanted to go home. “We’re leaving,” Dylan said and grasped Natasha’s wrist.

Natasha yanked her hand out of Dylan’s grip.

“Don’t touch me, I didn’t give you permission for that!” she exclaimed and Dylan, angry, held her again, squeezing her wrist. Natasha screamed. Joseph took Dylan’s arm and pushed him away. “I told you not to touch me!” Natasha exclaimed, her eyes filling with tears, and walked away.

Dylan stared at Joseph, who had a disapproving, angry look.

  “Look, Joseph, I’m sorry ...”

“You better go home, boy. I’ll call you a taxi.”

“I’ll call it myself. Can you call one for Natasha? I don’t think she can do it.” Dylan pleaded. Joseph nodded, still serious.

He took one last look at Natasha, who was already back at the bar. He felt terrible for holding her like that. All he wanted was to go to her, hug her, apologize, and make up. But, instead, he headed to the door.

  Chapter 16. Pillory

Oliver knocked on Dylan’s apartment door again. Lucy looked at him.

“Maybe we should leave...” Lucy suggested, apprehensively.

“No way,” Oliver said, firmly, and knocked again.

Dylan opened the door at once, angry. He was pale and had deep dark circles under his eyes, clearly sick.

“What is it?! Leave me alone, Oliver! I told you I don’t want to talk about it!” Dylan exclaimed and was about to smash the door, but Oliver put his foot in front of it and prevented him from closing it.

“I don’t care if you want to or not. I’m coming in.” Oliver said and walked into the apartment, followed by Lucy. It was almost noon on Saturday. Dylan snorted, rubbing his face.

“You’re so annoying! I didn’t want to live with you for this and now you chase me!” Dylan shouted, frustrated. Oliver continued to stare at him, serious. Lucy headed for the couch, wanting to get out of the discussion.

“I came here to take care of you. Your annoying housemates aren’t here, are they? Sit down. Now.” Oliver said, pointing to the couch. Dylan did it, defeated.

“I don’t want to talk about what happened.”

“Natasha got home yesterday crying. She cried all night. She said you hurt her.” Oliver said. Dylan hid his face in his hands again, screaming in frustration. “Dylan, this’s serious.”

“Yeah. I held her. I grabbed her wrist. I hate myself for doing this and she can go to the police if she wants.”

“Okay. You don’t need to exaggerate. Just apologize. She said she slapped you too.”

“Yeah. In the face,” Dylan added, annoyed.

“Tell me you’ll talk to her about what happened,” Oliver said, sitting down too. Dylan snorted.

“She won’t want to talk to me.”

  “She will.”

“Okay! Okay! Of course, I will try! Now, the hangover is killing me, can you be quiet?”

“Are you drinking enough water? Want us to make lunch?” Oliver asked, lowering his voice. Dylan nodded, looking down.

Oliver and Lucy spent a few hours there, taking care of Dylan. They cooked chicken broth, had lunch together, and then Dylan went to sleep because he was feeling sick.

“You deserve to be sick, who told you to drink so much?” Oliver said before leaving.

Oliver and Lucy began to head back to their apartment.

“I can’t believe Dylan did this to Natasha,” Lucy said. “I’m pretty disappointed.”

“It’s Natasha’s fault,” Oliver said. Lucy frowned.

  “I don’t think so.”

“How come? They were seeing each other, she started to ignore him, she kissed another guy in front of him, she confronted Dylan first when he was doing the scene.” Oliver listed, earnestly.

“Okay, but they weren’t really dating. Natasha had told Dylan several times she is free and wants nothing to do with anyone. Dylan chose to ignore it and to get involved with her. He was pushing her, trying to change her.” Lucy argued. Oliver stared at her.

“She could have at least told him she wasn’t interested anymore.”

“But she’s still interested. But she wants to have other experiences without having to tell anyone. Dylan went to that club to spy on her, to see what she was doing.”

Oliver stopped. He was also getting annoyed.

“Lucy, Natasha was deceiving Dylan. You don’t do that even to your friends.”

“You’re saying that because you’re very possessive too,” Lucy said, crossing her arms. Oliver scowled.

“Oh, now the problem is our relationship too?”

“I’m just saying you don’t see her side because of your personality. You don’t like her doing her crazy things.”

“How can you tell me this, Lucy?” Oliver asked, disbelieving. “I don’t give a damn about what Natasha does as long as she stops breaking my best friend’s heart. She slapped him in the face.”

“And he held her so tightly that her wrist is bruised now. You saw it, she showed us. Both were aggressive. If Dylan hadn’t gone there in the first place, it wouldn’t have happened. She owes him nothing.”

“Is that how you think then?”

“Yeah,” Lucy said, stubbornly. They kept walking saying nothing else.

They entered the apartment quietly and Lucy went to the couch, turning on the TV, while Oliver we
nt to the bedroom.

The day was quiet in the apartment. Natasha went out of the room in the middle of the afternoon. Her hair was tousled as if she had just woken up, she was wearing old pajamas and hadn’t taken off her makeup from the day before, but then she went back to her room. Lucy spent all day on the couch, feeling bad about the fight.

They heard a knock on the door. Lucy yawned, not feeling energetic enough to go open it, so Julian did the job. Julian had taken turns to stay with his friends, trying to cheer them up. He stayed in the room with Natasha, then in the living room with Lucy, and even tried to talk to Oliver. He told everyone he would make pasta for dinner, so he was in the kitchen.

He opened the door, immediately feeling the cold, but he had no time for anything else. Two guards entered the apartment, without asking for permission.

“Natasha Abraham?” one of them asked, in a serious voice. They were wearing blue uniforms and had stern faces.

“She’s in her room…” Julian stuttered, while the guards were already getting to the couches. Lucy sat up straight with a shocked face, Oliver got out of the bedroom, frowning. The guards entered Natasha’s room, she screamed, because she was still on her pajamas, but they started taking her out, holding her arms tightly.

“What’s going on?” Oliver asked, approaching one of the guards, his voice shaking while looking at Natasha’s terrified stare.

“We have a warrant and we’re taking Ms. Abraham to the Punishment Center in town. She will be punished because of aggression that took place yesterday, at the club called Diablo.”

“Aggression?” Oliver asked, looking at the girl. “Was it because of Dylan…?”

“She slapped and pushed a man without consent, Mr. Joseph Ward. He pressed charges and, given her records, she was condemned to take a public punishment on the square, 100 lashes,” one guard said and kept carrying Natasha, who was paralyzed like a puppy.

“Is there anything we can do?” Oliver asked.

“Only the person who pressed charges can forgive her. Now, move!” he said and pushed Natasha forward. The girl landed on her knees with a thud and a whimper but there was no time to complain, they made her stand and keep walking.

“What will we do?!” Julian exclaimed, in panic.

“Poor Natasha!” Lucy exclaimed, feeling tears in her eyes, “Sir, what will we do??”

“Calm down, everyone. I’ll call Dylan and see if we can get to this Joseph Ward guy,” Oliver said, taking his phone.

It took a while for Dylan to pick it up.

“What?” he asked in a grumpy voice, like he had just woken up. Oliver explained the situation, and, with each word, Dylan’s eyes grew wider and his heart beat faster. “WHAT?? I’m coming over!”

“Try to find this Joseph guy. He might have a page on the internet if he’s a pro-Dom,” Oliver said, “I’ll do the same.”

It took Dylan less than five minutes to get to Oliver’s house, and the first thing he did was show him the screen of his phone. “I got his number! And also, this place where he does private scenes, maybe it’s his home. Let’s go over there!”

“What if he isn’t there?” Oliver asked.

“Yeah, but we have to try it. 100 lashes can kill someone if done in the wrong way. And Natasha doesn’t deserve that.” Dylan said, almost in a panic.

“Yes. Let’s do it.” Oliver said, while Lucy and Julian got near the door as well.

“I’m sorry for Natasha!” Lucy exclaimed, almost crying.

“It’s okay, sweetheart. Let’s solve this thing. Everything will be fine.” Oliver said, and Lucy nodded while dropping some tears. “Julian and you should stay here. Maybe they’ll release her in some other way, so you wait for her here. Is that all right?”

“Yes, sir…” Lucy said. Julian nodded.

“I’ll try to research something, maybe we can find a way of releasing her.” Julian said.

They got in a taxi, heading to Joseph’s place. Oliver tried to call him, but he wasn’t picking it up.

“Maybe he’s not even there,” Dylan said, feeling his stomach sick. He really wanted to vomit.

“We have to try!” Oliver said.

The place of the address looked like any other home out there. It had white walls, a red roof, and it didn’t look like a BDSM dungeon at all. Dylan rang the bell, nervous, his hands on his pockets. He couldn’t believe how much of an asshole he had been with Natasha. And now she was there, about to get beaten almost to death. He felt like crying.

“Please, please…” Dylan said, ringing the bell again. Oliver just waited, trying to look at the windows to spot any movement.

“I don’t think he’s here…” Oliver said, while Dylan tried to ring the bell again.

“He has to be!” Dylan exclaimed, feeling so nervous he was starting to get dizzy.

Then, the door opened. It was one of Joseph’s slaves. He wore pants and a collar only.

  “Yes?” he asked.

“Hey! Thanks, god!” Dylan exclaimed, almost feeling like hugging that guy. However, the slave wasn’t smiling. “We came to see Joseph.”

“Master is not feeling well at the moment. He had an extremely rough night yesterday. I’m afraid you’ll have to leave.”

“No, please, no, we need to talk to him!” Dylan exclaimed, trying to look inside the house.

“I’ve told you no!” the slave said.

“Joseph! JOSEPH!” Dylan started screaming, trying to get his attention.

“Stop!” the slave yelled back. “We’ll have to call the police!”

“JOSEPH, MASTER, PLEASE, COME HERE!” Dylan kept screaming.

“Get out!” the slave said and pushed Dylan so hard he fell on his back.

“Hey!” Oliver exclaimed, “you can’t do that!”

“You’re upsetting Master!” the slave said, right when a man showed at the door. He noticed it was Joseph himself, so he immediately got to his knees, while Dylan still moaned in the ground.

“I hit my head…” Dylan said, feeling the throbbing pain.

“Dylan! Are you all right?” Joseph said, getting to the ground to help him sit up. “Bad, bad slave. Go back to your cage! That’s not how you treat our guests!” he said, turning to the man who was in all fours. “I’m sorry, boy.”

“Joseph! Joseph, I’m so glad you’re here!” Dylan said and hugged the man, without thinking if that was a good idea or not. Joseph raised his eyebrows, surprised.

“I don’t know what got into my slave, I’m sorry.”

“It’s okay, we were kinda screaming your name like mad man.” Dylan said, both still on the ground.

“I told him I didn’t want to be disturbed, but he didn’t need to push you.”

“Joseph, you have to help us, you have to forgive Natasha.” Dylan said. Joseph immediately frowned.

“She was behaving in a terrible way yesterday after you left… I had to call the police.”

“I know and I’m sorry that she did that. She’s hard to deal with but I like her very much… I love her. You can’t let her get 100 lashes, she won’t stand it.”

“100 lashes?!” Joseph exclaimed, “this is way too much! She should get just a light spanking…”

“It’s because she has a record. They took her today and she can get her punishment at any minute… please, Joseph, forgive her, please, I’ll do anything…” Dylan begged, but Joseph shook his head. Dylan felt a punch in his stomach. Wouldn’t he do it??

But then he said, still shaking his head, “it’s all wrong. They shouldn’t give her 100 lashes. Let’s go over there! I’ll help her!”

“Thank you, Joseph, thank you so much, and I’m so sorry about everything that happened!” Dylan said, hugging him again.

“It’s okay, boy. I like you very much, Dylan. Let’s do it!” Joseph said, getting up.

Oliver, Dylan, and Joseph got into Joseph’s car and started rushing through town, fast.

“I’m afraid it’s too late! They don’t usually wait a
lot before delivering this punishment…” Dylan said, a bit shaky.

  “Calm down, man,” Oliver said.

“It’s no good to think about this here and now. We have to keep going.” Joseph said.

Dylan was right, they didn’t waste time with that kind of punishment. The boys got out of the car right when Natasha was being put in a pillory, in the public square, in front of everyone that wanted to stop by and take a look at was about to happen. She looked like she had been crying, terrified.

“Stop it, stop it, right now!” Joseph said, walking to the guards.

  “Who are you?”

“I pressed charges against her but now I say I changed my mind.” Joseph said. Natasha looked up as best as she could with her head stuck there, and she seemed like she saw a ghost. She couldn’t believe it.

The guards looked at each other, confused.

It took a while, but they released Natasha, who went to Dylan’s arms immediately, crying. Dylan hugged her, also feeling like crying for the stress. He still felt like throwing up but there were so many emotions that all they could do was hug each other, unable to believe that all was happening. Joseph had to sign some papers, and Natasha had to pledge that she learned her lesson. Oliver and Dylan acted as witnesses, and people at the public square looked disappointed that they wouldn’t watch a whipping.

Natasha snuggled into Dylan’s chest and heard the boy’s heart pounding. Dylan enveloped her. He missed her so much. Joseph got closer to them after it was all over. Natasha looked at him, but then looked at her feet.

  “I’m so sorry.”

“It’s okay, girl. Just take care next time.” Joseph said, “and don’t break Dylan’s heart. He’s a good kid.”

“I’m sorry that I tried to control you too,” Dylan said, “you always made clear what you wanted. And I didn’t.”

“Let’s forget all of this.” Natasha said. “I know better what I want now. And definitely I don’t ever want to go to that pillory again. It was so scary.”
