I call across the office, “Sonja, when’s the next scheduled meeting of department heads?”

She smiles at me in the same way she always does then checks my diary. “You had your fortnightly meeting only two days ago. I’m sure you can do the math,” the cheeky minx says with a twinkle in her eye.

I slap my desk. “I want to see them all in the conference room. Ten minutes.” It’s far from perfect but it’s the only way I’ll get to see Alice.

She’s about to send the email. “What shall I say is the reason?”

I chew on my bottom lip and have to quickly contrive some bullshit reason. “Tell them it’s a team-building activity,” she begins typing and then I tell her, “and Sonja, why don’t you take the rest of the day off.”

  Chapter Six

  Blake

I have twelve heads of department and as they enter the conference room one by one, they’re all glancing around expectantly for Sonja. Of course, I know what they’re thinking, it’s obvious, and there are more than a few disappointed faces when they find she won’t be serving coffee and taking the minutes with her cleavage showing like normal.

Doug enters somewhere in the middle and as both hoped and expected, Alice is beside the man.

Wow, he truly is keeping her nearby at all times.

I immediately make my way over, greeting the girl as she’s pottering aimlessly into the big conference room along with all the important people. I ignore her father and place my arm gently around her shoulders. “Just the girl I wanted to see. We’re having an important meeting but my secretary had to go home … family emergency, you see, her mother, I think, anyway, Alice, why don’t you take the minutes? Do you think you can handle that?”

She prods up her glasses and bounces once on her toes in that adorable way I’m beginning to think is her trait. “Um, I think so, sir.”

Just touching her again is all it takes for my cock to start swelling and I have to dig deep and focus on import taxes and planning regulations because the absolute last thing I need is for my departmental heads to notice the monster that I have bulging halfway down my leg.

My arm’s still around her as I guide the sweet little thing toward the seat beside me. “Good, I’m glad to hear it, I knew you’d be ready for the challenge.” I take a deep inhalation of air, she smells like granny’s perfume but never was it so intoxicating. “And enough of this ‘sir’ business, do you understand? I want you to call me Blake.” I ignore the looks everybody else is giving me, including Doug, though they’d better keep their eyes off Alice or I’ll have their jobs, all of them.

She nods shyly and then I pull out her seat and watch from behind as she lowers her slender little hips down into the leather. There’s a satisfying release of air from the sponge as her adorable little ass sinks into it, although the moment is destroyed by the thump of Burt all but crunching to death his seat when he collapses into it on the other side of my girl.

I give him an angry glare but he’s too busy scanning the room for pastries to notice.

“Nothing to eat?” He has the gall to ask.

My hand clenches around Alice’s armrest. “It was an emergency meeting so there was no time to prepare anything.” I gesture about the room. “And as you can see, Burt, Sonja’s had an emergency to attend to.”

He struggles to lift the weight of his own arm and points at Alice. “Why not send her? She’s the one who goes for coffee. It’s her job.” His chair groans appallingly under his bulk. “I’d like a large coffee and a box of danishes.” There are a few murmurs of agreement and so I open up my notepad, take out my gold pen and write the word ‘Burt’ at the top. His face contorts in fear, the mere suggestion is all it takes, but now at least he’s done making foolish suggestions that entail sending my woman away, even for a few minutes. By God, but I will not have that.

“Good morning, everybody, and thanks for coming at such short notice,” the murmured conversations recede when my voice overpowers theirs. Now, this is the hard part, thinking up shit on the fly because let’s face it, I have nothing. I take my seat beside Alice and cough into a closed fist, her proximity is the most distracting thing in the world and I can’t keep my eyes off her dainty fingers and the way they’re holding the pen as she waits for me to start talking. “Are there any issues anybody would like to raise?”

I get a few funny looks, particularly from Doug, but Marvin, one of my more experienced managers speaks. “About anything?”

I shrug. “As you were told, this is a team building activity. Say whatever’s on your mind.”

He seems unsure of himself and is playing around with his pen. “Um, well, maybe,” he coughs and now I’m getting impatient, “p…perhaps you might be a little more open to, um, criticism,” he sees my face and is quick to say, “but just a little.”

My jaw clenches as my eyes flick down to where Alice is getting this down. I try to make out the squiggles but whatever she’s writing, it’s not English. “You don’t criticize the boss,” I growl, “your job is to do as he says.”

Alice sniffs and quickly writes it down in her strange lettering, which I’m finding a distraction. What language even is that? Maybe I’m being hostile but you don’t get to where I am by being a pussy and it occurs to me that rather than go through this charade, maybe I ought to just tell Doug to back off because I’m dating his daughter now, though knowing him, if I did such a thing then he’d lock her away in a convent and that’d be the last I’d ever see of her. Marvin stares sheepishly down into his notes so now I’m looking around at everybody else.

“Does anybody have anything they’d like to add?”

“You can be quite frightening at times.” It’s Doug who said it, which unfortunately means I have to take this bullshit at least half seriously.

“Frightening?” I open out my palms. “Is there anyone who agrees with this?”

  Everyone nods. Point made.

“Maybe you could think about taking an anger management course…” he lets it trail off because he can’t hold my eye contact. In fact, I very nearly slam a fist into the table but I’m conscious enough not to make his point for him, especially in front of Alice. No, it looks like I have to take this shit.

“The punch bag is my anger management course,” I turn to Alice, “are you getting this down?”

She turns red at being addressed in front of everybody and nods shyly. I can think of one more thing that will almost certainly be better than pumping my fists into a sawdust filled bag and that’s pumping my dick inside of her tight little snatch. It’s almost too much to bear having to deal with these obstacles but I’m far from out of ideas just yet. I will have her, that much is for certain, it’s just a matter of time.

For the next half hour I have to deal with abuse cleverly disguised as feedback before finally deciding it’s time to dismiss them. “Get back to work,” I tell them before placing my hand on top of Alice’s, “you must stay, dear, so that we can discuss the minutes.”

For a moment, it almost looks like Doug’s about to leave with everybody else but then to my complete irritation, his bony ass remains rooted to my three thousand dollar Italian leather chair.

“Doug, I think Alice is able to handle this task on her own, why don’t you go and make me some money.” I turn away from him, all final, but then I have to hear his nasally voice.

“I can hold on for a few minutes, Blake, we were about to get into SCR optimization, so there’s not much I can do until Alice is seated beside me.” Oh, he’s a sly one is Doug, no, he’s not stupid at all.

I give him a lingering sneer before directing myself back to his daughter, her smell alone is doing strange things inside my head. I point at her writing. “What does this say?”

She prods up her glasses. “That you need to work on your people skills.”

“Does it now, and what language is that?”

She giggles, “I thought I’d write in Greek just to impress you.”

  I bark, “oh, I
m impressed, alright, in fact, you might say I’m extremely impressed.”

Doug pulls his chair forward because it looks like he’s not planning on going anywhere soon. “Alice is fluent in five languages and is presently teaching herself Coptic.” His face is a happy picture, the apple of his eye. “Did I mention she got into Harvard?”

I nod, “you might have said something about it.” I wonder what else this pretty nerd can do.

But talk about breeding stock. With her brains and beauty alongside my stature and business acumen, our babies will be remarkable. Added to the fact I’m one of the richest men in America then we can easily afford to have many, many, many babies and the world will be a better place for it. The very thought of making babies with Alice, even now, is causing my seed to escape the tip of my cock. It’s an awful waste of prime ingredient when I really ought to be basting it against her womb.

  Chapter Seven

  Blake

It’s later that same day when I’ve had enough and call Doug into my office. I tell him to come alone because we need to discuss privileged company strategy. I watch him stand, leaving Alice alone at his desk where she’s apparently working on intricate investing formulae. I can even zoom in and marvel at the complex equations she’s drawn over several sheets of paper and a part of me wonders whether she’s wasted as an unpaid intern, heck, she’s probably wasted at Harvard. No, in fact, good breeding stock like that’s definitely wasted at Harvard.

My manhood is reaching halfway down my leg in a way that’s uncomfortable and when Doug knocks, I have to quickly readjust my pants so that I can sit in relative comfort.

“Enter,” I call and as expected, he does the same thing he always does, which is to first poke his head inside like the mouse that he is, clocking Sonja as he does.

I lean back with amusement as I watch him saying hello to her, bowing his head in complete supplication as his jaw tightens in frustration. What’s it been since I attended his wife’s funeral, four years? The poor man. Sonja gives him a friendly wave, like she does with everybody, and sticks out her chest in the way she knows gets attention. Today she’s wearing a sleeveless business suit I bought for her as a gift after her first year’s service, it’s made-to-measure and cost twenty thousand dollars. If God had made the perfect woman and told his best tailor to fix her up, then she still would not look as good as Sonja does right now. Indeed, it’s harder than ever for poor Doug to wrench his eyes away from her as he drags himself towards the chair on the other side of my desk.

“Good afternoon, Blake,” he reaches forwards to shake my hand and because it would be advised I don’t stand, I have to stretch over the exceptionally large desk to meet his with mine. My hand swallows his and he winces. “Ugh, it sounds like you have something important to discuss.”

I smile at the man, still convinced the girl in question is not of his loins. “Indeed, Doug, indeed, but since when is anything I do not important?”

He’s about to say something, possibly about the meeting of department heads from earlier today, but he changes his mind at the last moment. “That’s true,” he says instead.

“Doug, would you care for a drink?” I already know what he’s going to say because he’s long since learned that to accept this offer is to indulge in several heavenly seconds of having Sonja’s ass up close in his face whilst she does the honors.

He nods, his face all stern, business, “I’ll take a latte, one sugar and a jelly danish.”

My fingers steeple as I nod across to Sonja, who gets up to do the work. “Something big has come up, something real big. In fact, Doug, it’s so big that we need to get this right, which is why I’ve been reviewing the performances of my best men.”

He shuffles in his seat. “Well, that’s Burt, surely, he’s the guy with the best ten-year average in the whole company.”

I click my fingers and point at him. “You see, Doug, this is why I like you, you’re a team player, you put the company ahead of personal ambition. And you’re right, Burt has the best ten-year average. The problem with Burt, however, is that he’s not the team player you are and besides, he’s not comfortable going out of state on company business. He’s bit of a flight risk, you understand, on account of his,” my face softens as I attempt to figure out a nice way of saying it, “bulk.”

  “Bulk?”

“I’m glad you agree, Doug, and can you imagine the impression that would be made by having a man of his size and,” again my face softens as I attempt to figure out a nice way of saying it, “personal hygiene representing Ruddiger Ventures.”

“Ah.” He nods but then squints. “I’m sorry, did you say something about going out of state?”

I slap the desktop. “There’s a new tech startup that goes by the name of NanoKinetics and what would you know, but they’re in need of investment. The only problem is, Doug, they don’t yet know they’re in need of it, which is why I’m sending my best man over there to convince them of the contrary and, um, not to return until he’s done it.”

His eyes have gone all glassy behind his spectacles. “And who did you have in mind?” He knows the answer already.

  “You, Doug.”

He swallows. “And where are NanoKinetics located?”

“Hawaii, Doug.” I’m plastering on the biggest smile imaginable, the guy doesn’t know how lucky he is to be scoring this gig. “Of course, whilst you’re away working on company business, you’ll be staying in 5-star accommodation and should you manage to secure this contract, there’s a hefty bonus package in it for you.”

He’s mashing his lips together because he really wants this, in fact, it’s a dream come true for a man like Doug. “I’m sorry, Blake, but I’m afraid you’ll have to reconsider sending Burt, or maybe Ben. He’s an up and comer in the company and a task like this will almost certainly push him over the top.”

My fist clenches beneath the desk and it’s a real struggle to hold my nerve, not to shout at the man, or fire him altogether. Having my carefully laid plans refused distracts me enough that I end up glancing again at my laptop and there’s Ben right now, leaning against a pillar a couple of feet away from Alice, talking. I’m so enraged that I almost storm out and fire the bastard on the spot but instead, I deign to wait because this meeting is marginally more urgent right now.

“You would turn down my generous offer in favor of sending an untested, completely inexperienced bastard in your place?” My voice came out in pieces and Doug is truly shocked by my tone and choice of language.

He readjusts himself in his seat. “You see, Blake, I have Alice to think about. I worry about her catching the sub on her own and all sorts of things and besides, you yourself told me that I had to keep a constant watch over her.”

I wave away this foolishness. “I think that in the short time your daughter has been at Ruddiger Ventures, she’s proven herself trustworthy as far as certain unjustified paranoid fears are concerned, so there’s no need to worry about that on my account.”

“Nevertheless, I still feel a strong need to provide a father’s protection, at least until the time comes when she’s married, at which time she will no longer be my responsibility.” They don’t make them much like this anymore.

I sigh deeply and show the man my palms. “Doug, I promise you, Alice will be safe whilst you’re away representing Ruddiger Ventures, in fact, I will personally see to it that she’s well taken care of,” and I mean that too, I truly do.

He’s in deep concentration deciding on an answer, or at least he’s pretending to be, but then he says, “I’m sorry, the answer’s no.”

Sonja arrives and sets down a tray. That twenty thousand dollar all-black business suit cuts off just barely below the snatch, which now hovers precariously close to Doug’s nose as she removes the coffee, jelly filled danish and retrieves the tray. She gives him a devilish grin, her perfume is subtle yet somehow overpowering and sends all the right chemicals straight to the brain.

Doug’s face is a picture an
d in less than ten seconds his mouth has become so dry that he’s quick to go for the coffee before taking a satisfactory gulp and wiping his mouth.

I exhale sadly. “I’m sorry, Sonja, but it looks like Doug won’t be accompanying you on the Hawaii trip.”

His concentration shoots away from the hot Russian and straight back onto me. “Excuse me?”

“Aaawwweeeeeeee,” Sonja sounds truly saddened and places a hand on his knee, “I was so very much looking forward to being taught mergers and acquisitions by a man who knows what he’s doing.”

His jaw drops hopelessly but he’s too stunned to say anything.

I shake my head. “I’m sorry, Sonja, I know how much you were looking forward to it but it looks like you might now have to go with Ben instead.”

“Ben?” She squeals before stepping closer to Doug and leaning ever so subtly forwards, just enough to expose the subtlest hint of cleavage. “Ben’s too young. I want to be taught by someone with,” and she moves her hand a few inches further up his leg, “experience.”

Finally, Doug clears his throat. “Well, maybe I was being a little too hasty before with my…”

“But what about Alice, Doug?” I lean forward and stare hard at the man. “Aren’t you worried for the safety of your daughter?”
