Without a word or warning Nice flipped the entire table over towards the pimp and grabbed his hammer from his waist band in one motion. The table toppled on its side sending everything on top of it crashing to the ground. The sounds of bottles breaking, glass shattering and chairs hitting the floor with a loud thud was deafened by the loud thunderous roar of Nice’s Canon blowing. Before anyone knew what was going on Nice started clappin Blap! Blap! Blap! and the whole place went into pure pandemonium. Los knew Nice probably better than he knew himself, so when he caught the look in his brother’s eyes he grabbed his own hammer off his waist, cocked it back, and let it bang. Mr. Snakeskin hid behind the table not sure what was going on; all he knew was niggaz was bustin and he wasn’t sure if he was an intended target until he felt a bullet whiz by his head. Tony scurried on his hands and knees crawling from underneath the table to make a run for the door while pulling his own gun out of his waistband. “Aaaahh! Oh my god! Oh my god!” Naked women screamed running aimlessly trying to get out of the way of gunfire. Los caught Snakeskin’s bodyguard in the chest with two hollow tips sending him down with a thud. Both Jah and Real hit the floor when bullets came at them from across the room. Real caught the image of another dude in one of several mirrors lining the walls letting off shots from inside one of the sitting booths. He motioned for Jah to let shots off in the direction the dude was in to keep the gunman occupied while he crept up from the opposite side surprising the gunman with a bullet to the head. Jah and Real looked around and suddenly noticed Nice and Los were nowhere in sight but they could hear gunshots being let off from downstairs in the main club area.

Nice was always nice with his aim but tonight was a different story. He was bustin off of pure rage and it was affecting his aim terribly. Nice knew he was partially faded but he was almost certain them damn ugly ass snakeskin shoes had propellers on them bitches and was helping the pimp nigga slip and slide out the line of fire. Nice kept letting off, he wasn’t thinking about anything but getting at Tony. Anger fueled through Nice’s veins damn near blinding him, he was the definition of blind rage. “Awwrrhhh fuck!” he heard Tony scream grabbing at his side. Nice’s heart rate started beating out of control as he felt gratification mixed with anger. Anger because Tony was still moving as fast as the wind despite being hit at least once. The pimp ran through the emergency exit out the back of the club and Nice went to follow without thinking until he felt a hand pull him backwards from behind as he went to run out the exit after his target. Bullets riddled the door frame he was just about to run out of. Then the sounds of screeching tires were heard. Nice’s anger spiked at an all time high when he went outside to see his mark had hopped into an awaiting car and was driving out of the parking lot at top speed. Nice let off hitting the car causing it to slam into another car but still manage to drive off into the night.

“Fuck!” Nice barked angrily slamming his palm into the exit door. “Yo nigga you a’ight?” Los asked with concern wanting to make sure Nice wasn’t hit. Jah and Real came bursting out of the emergency exit seconds later hammers ready. “Y’all a’ight, y’all a’ight?” Jah asked alarmed, when he didn’t get a response but saw no one seemed to be harmed he calmed down a little.

“Oh that pussy nigga tried to wet me up! I’ma get at that pussy and next time its curtains for that fuck nigga,” Nice snarled through angry pants as he tried to catch his breath from his anger and adrenaline running high. ‘Yo I swear on god this bitch gon tell me somethin tonight and it betta not be some shit I don’t wanna hear. I swear I’ma make the muthafuckin news, she gon tell me something,” Nice said with so much emotion in his voice it was scary. Every man standing there could relate Nice’s tone was anger, hurt, rage, jealousy and murder all mixed into one. “Nice gimme that burner Bruh you can’t go home with that hot shit on you.” Nice shoved the gun in Los’ hand as he raced past him towards his car fumbling with his keys along the way. “Real go grab my car, meet me in the front,” Los instructed as he ran back upstairs followed closely by Jah. As soon as they walked into the VIP area the entire place was a disaster. Two dudes laid out dead on the floor and one stripper shot in the arm. There were dancers tending to the injured woman’s wound as she lay crying on the ground holding her arm. The girls were resourceful that’s for sure Los thought to himself as he saw them tie a thong around the dancer’s wound to slow her bleeding.

“Damn man! Damn y’all niggaz just fucked my whole spot up!” Mike screamed. “Ayo, Mike we gon take care of it.” “I just opened this shit man, my whole place all fucked up, damn! Y’all niggaz done tore my whole spot up,” Mike said damn near hysterical. “Mike yo chill the fuck out. I said I’ma look out you know I will, but you know we can’t leave no witnesses. Are we gon have a problem with these chicks up here?” Los asked with deadly intent in his eyes. Mike looked over at the girls whose eyeballs were dilated out of their minds. “Man hell nah, these bitches be trippin off them mollies and X, they don’t know whether they coming or going. Come help me get these niggaz out my club. They can get found anywhere but here. I ain’t tryna lose my liquor license over these niggaz. Help me drag them down the fire escape and drop them down the street,” Big Mike hollered at his brother. Los wasn’t paying Mike ranting any mind he was too busy rubbing the guns he had on him clean of finger prints with his shirt. “Ayo Mike I’ll be in touch baby,” Los said before taking off.

Jah hopped in his car while Los hopped in his with Real. Blacka hopped in his brand-new CLS 550 Benz which was a welcome home and B-day present from Los and Nice. Blacka pulled alongside Los and Real as Jah pulled off. “Damn y’all lil muthafucka’s still wild! I swear y’all niggaz will start some shit in a empty room. Ain’t shit change wit y’all lil knuckle head niggaz. I’m gettin too old for this shit! A nigga in there gettin head and all hell break loose. I’m running out wit my burner and dick out thinking something happened to one of y’all, Fuck is goin on?!” Los and Real were cracking up. “You done got too relaxed in the bing, welcome home nigga!” Los screamed before peeling off hearing sirens nearing.

Los and Real drove in silence for the majority of the time, until they neared Los’ stash house where he was going to stash the guns he had on him. “Damn did you see Nice face when he heard what that pimp dude said about Ty? You think it’s true.” Los took a hard tote from his blunt before answering Real. “Yup it was true, all of it too.” “Yo, you don’t think we should go over there to calm Nice down or something?” Real asked with slight alarm. “Let me tell you something youngin. It’s neva eva good to get involved in a domestic situation between a man and the woman he loves. That shit right there can get you killed. It’s like a nigga can love his chick too much to actually body her but then you there stepping in the way so somebody gotta get it. It’s best to let them deal with they own personal issues when it’s to this level. All I can say is Ty betta know how to bob and mufuckin weave.” Both Los and Real burst out into hard laughter.

Nice pulled into his driveway seeing red. It felt as if his feet couldn’t get him in the house and up the stairs to his bedroom fast enough. He found Ty still up reading, her facial expression relaxed as if she had not a care in the world. He could see the engagement ring he put on her finger glistening from the door as she held her Ipad. That only seemed to get him angrier. Without saying a word he snatched the Ipad from her hand hurling it up against the wall. Ty looked up with a bewildered look on her face “Baby what the…” she stopped right there, Nice wasn’t looking to right. He glared at her without saying a word making her sit up straight and scoot her body against the headboard in back of her. She didn’t understand what was going on with him but she knew it wasn’t good. Nice decided to sit down but then hopped right back up and started pacing the floor. He was so hurt and angry he didn’t know what to do with himself right now.

“Ty let me ask you something.” Ty swallowed hard, the feeling of doom was lingering in the air. She was trying to figure out why her saliva glands seemed to have suddenly stopped working. W
hy the hell is my mouth so dry? “Okay,” Ty said timidly with tears threatening to fall from her eyes, for what she couldn’t explain just yet. “Do you know a nigga named Tony?” Pure dread ran through Ty’s entire body. She tried desperately to keep her cool outwardly but inside she was frantic. Oh my god, what did he hear? “Ty do you know a nigga named Tony?” Nice pressed. Maybe Ty was bugging but it was the way Nice said her name and repeated the question with a little more force to it that had her skin crawling. Ty was literally dying inside because her worst fears had come true. Her past had come to haunt her. Oh my god please no! please no, think fast. Ty hold it together don’t cry. “Tony? Ummm,” Ty said dramatically acting as if she were really trying to recall knowing a Tony. Nice bit his bottom lip as he watched the woman he loved, the woman he had planned to spend his life with before tonight began to lie to him. It literally broke his heart as he watched Ty go through the whole phony act of trying to recall knowing Tony. Nice knew damn well she knew him. “Umm no I don’t know a Ton…” Ty never got a chance to finish her statement before Nice slapped the dog shit out of her sending her crashing to the floor. Before she could recover from seeing stars and hearing bells ringing in her ear Nice snatched her from the floor throwing her into a headlock. He pushed her up against the wall with his body leaning against hers. Ty being slapped, snatched up, pushed and pulled in so many directions so quickly had an immediate headache.

“Watch what the fuck you say to me, you hear me? You betta watch what you say to me, cause if you sit here and lie to my face I’ma mop this whole muthafuckin room wit ya lil ass,” Nice gritted into Ty’s ear sounding straight sinister. Ty let out a struggled cry. Her body was trembling with fear. She placed a shaky hand on Nice’s forearm afraid he might start squeezing. Oh my god! Do this crazy nigga got me in a headlock whispering in my ear? What the fuck is wrong with him? He has lost his damn mind. “Do you hear me?” Ty shook her head and let out a strained and tearful “Yes.” “Ty don’t say shit. Listen to me and listen good. I’ma give you a few minutes to get ya mind right, think about what I asked you. When I get back in this room you betta have something to say to me,” Nice wasn’t yelling or anything his voice was so monotone and even it was scary. Was this the calm before the storm? He let Ty up from the headlock and her body literally fell to the floor. He was the only thing keeping her up by leaning against her Ty’s knees had buckled a long time ago. She sobbed uncontrollably while folded up on the plush carpet of the bedroom floor. All she could think of was how her life had been literally turned upside down. Usually Ty’s cries would break Nice down but today he was in rare form, her cries had no effect on him whatsoever. “Please baby, pleeeease I’m so sorry, uhh huhh, huhh, huhhh, Kamaaar please!” Ty cried. Not knowing really what else to say.

There was a light knock on the door and Nice knew exactly who it was. Ty placed her hands over her mouth trying to muffle her cries not wanting to alarm Ky. “Ty you heard what I said that clock ticking, when I get back in here you betta put me on to somethin, lie to me again and I swear I’ma lace ya whole fuckin grill piece. Play wit me tonight if you want,” Nice gritted. Nice went to leave the bedroom only opening the door slightly blocking Ky’s view. “Where’s Mommy?” “She sleeping baby.” Ty heard Nice respond. No I’m not! What the hell is he gonna do to me? Ty crawled to the master bathroom shutting the door and locking it. She cried until she had a stomach ache and found herself getting sleepy. Crying always seemed to make her tired however sleep was the last thing on her mind when she knew she would have to face something as ugly as her past. She had fought so hard to keep her past buried that she had convinced herself in some respects that it never happened. The fact of the matter is the past always has a way of creeping up into your future no matter how deep you try to bury it.

Finally Ty attempted to get herself together, she picked herself up and walked over to the sink letting the water run over her palms before taking two huge mouthfuls of water from her hands. After doing that she splashed cold water on her face hoping this would wake her from the nightmare she was in right now. Ty nearly jumped out of her skin when she heard two rapid knocks at the bathroom door. She knew there was no turning back now as she gave one last look at her reflection in the mirror. Ty realized she would have to come face to face with her past no matter how ugly it was. Ty’s biggest fear is that Nice wouldn’t love her anymore after he knew everything about her.

Ty walked out of the bathroom as if her legs were being weighed down by bricks. She sat down at the edge of the bed with her hands clasped together and it wasn’t long before silent tears started streaming down her face. Nice sat down next to her looking clearly upset and stressed all at the same time. He had his elbows planted on his knees as he massaged the bridge of his nose with one hand.

“Ty since I already peeped you got a problem with telling the truth. All I wanna hear from you is either a yes or no, nothing more.” Ty shook her head yes. Nice fixed his eyes on her and it was as if he were looking through her not really at her. “Do you know that pimp nigga Tony?” “Yes,” Ty whimpered just above a whisper. Nice sighed long and hard. “Did he have you out here selling pussy for him?” Ty was taken aback by how insensitive his question was but she knew he was past mad, more like livid. “Kamar please baby let me exp…” “Ayo Ty yes or no!” Nice barked. Ty choked back a tear filled “Yes.” Nice jumped to his feet as if someone set fire to his ass. “And you had me runnin up in you raw! Bitch! Is you fuckin crazy?! You could’ve gave me the package!” Nice yelled pointing his finger at Ty accusingly. “Yo this shit is crazy, I don’t know what the fuck is goin on right now,” Nice said pacing back and forth with his hands on his head as if he were going crazy. Then he chuckled, “I shoulda known you was a pro, you fuck way too good to not get paid for it,” Nice sneered. Ty’s heart fell to the floor. His words hurt way more than any slap or punch he could’ve thrown. Silent tears ran freely down her face, she looked up at Nice with wounded eyes but her tears seemed to only infuriate him. “Shit don’t get no realer than this, a nigga life so real they can write a book about it. I got a Baby Mama whose a cokehead, gold digging hoe and a Fiancée that’s a undercover prostitute, where the fuck they do that at? Mannn what the fuck is really goin on? I don’t even know you. I ain’t propose to the real Tyeena. I proposed to her fuckin representative! And to think I was gon wife you, straight up marry you wit no prenup. You had a nigga open; I can admit that pimp nigga taught you well. You can keep that Jag ma the way you fucked and sucked a nigga you earned that honest,” Nice cackled nastily. “As far as that engagement ring go, either you take it off or I’ll break ya fuckin finger for it. You don’t deserve that, you ain’t worthy of a real nigga like me puttin a ring on ya finger. I been real wit you from jump Ty and all you did was lie and keep secrets. Bitch we through!”

Ty sobbed hard folding over gripping her stomach. Nice was literally killing her with his words. A man who had never called her out her name before tonight was calling her every bitch and hoe in the book. Nice turned to leave out of the bedroom with fast, angry strides when he suddenly turned around. Ty saw him coming towards her and immediately sat up straight pushing her body up against the headboard raising her arms to shield herself. He got so close she could smell the alcohol on his breath he had been drinking earlier.

“Let me ask you one more thing, how many niggaz done laid they dick where I lay my head almost every night? Ha? Do you even know? Or have you lost count?” Ty choked back tears as she tried to muffle a guttural sob that had risen from her belly to her throat. Nice lingered staring at her for a long minute with disgust. She didn’t want to look him in the eyes but for some reason she was glued to his dark piercing eyes as tears welled deep within them. When he couldn’t stand to see the pitiful look on her face any longer he walked towards the door. “Let me get away from you before I choke the shit outta you. I want ya Thot ass the fuck up outta my crib! For ya sake be gone by the time I get back,” he said before storming out the door. Ty heard a t
hunderous slam of the front door then minutes later his car peeling out the driveway. She couldn’t even move, the emotional pain she was feeling was debilitating and causing her entire body to ache.

Ty didn’t know how but somehow she ended up falling off to sleep while crying. When she awoke she prayed that everything that happened in the early hours of the morning was just a bad dream, but when she felt that gnawing pain of heartbreak creeping in her chest and that lump in her throat restricting her breathing she knew this was as real as it gets. Her and Nice were over; she had really lost the love of her life by keeping secrets. The old saying seemed to ring true what’s done in the dark will come to light.
