“Yeah, so?”
“You can’t just spank someone!”
“I think I already did,” I remind her.
“How dare you! Who the hell do you think you are?” She shoves her hands against my chest but my body is already wound tightly. I don’t know who the hell would be after her and she’s just going around trying to pick fights with any man she comes across.
“I think I’m the motherfucker that is supposed to be protectin’ your dumb ass!”
“Did you just call me dumb? I am not dumb!” She snaps clearly not listening to the rest of that statement. I run my hand through my hair before I blow out a breath.
“You can’t go fuckin’ with anyone you think is a problem, Skye! Do you know what those guys would have done to the two of you?” I roar watching her. She rolls her eyes when I hear Brick and Davis talking behind me. With a quick glance over my shoulder I see them walking toward us. I turn back to Skye and notice her crying.
“Oh, for fucks sake!” Tugging at my hair, I take a step back when she takes a step closer. Drunken Skye is apparently emotional.
“I’m sorry, Keaton. I wasn’t thinking. I’m so sorry,” she cries wrapping her arms around my waist. I stand here with my arms hanging at my sides, trying to decide on if I should call Riley and cuss him out for this shit or just cut his dick off when I see him again. “You hate me don’t you?” I look down at her tear stained cheeks as fresh ones fall.
“I don’t hate you.” Yeah, that sounded really reassuring.
“You won’t even touch me!” She squeals louder this time. Brick chuckles next to us and Davis just shakes his head climbing in the back seat of the car. I raise my hand and pat her shoulder awkwardly knowing that if I wrap her up in my arms I’m going to want to fuck her. Hell I can already feel my cock hardening in my jeans from those damn tears.
“I’ll be in the car,” Brick says laughing his ass off as if this is really hysterical.
“You hate me! I’m so ugly. Why would you like me. You don’t even know me either. I’m sorry!” She cries harder and this time, I do it. I wrap my arms around her and run my hand down her back.
“I don’t hate you, Skye and you are far from ugly.” She pulls back a little and looks up at me with her drunken eyes blazing.
“Touch me, Keaton.” Shaking my head, I’m not going to allow myself to go that far.
“Please. I just need a release, Keaton. Please.” Fuck! She’s begging me and there is nothing I like more than a bitch begging me. I walk her backwards, pressing her body against the side of the car. I know the guys are inside, I know her friend is too but the way she keeps looking at me and the sounds leaving her mouth, I can’t stop myself. I slide my hand down her hip to the front of her skirt. It’s so damn short it doesn’t take me long to get where I need to be. Slipping her thong to the side, I slide my finger through the wetness I find. My eyes stay locked with hers as I slowly move my finger back and forth.
“You gonna let them all watch you come for me?” I ask her shoving a finger inside of her. Fuck, she’s tight and warm. A gasp escapes her but I just smirk. “They are gonna hear you, see you.” I tell her watching as she bites her lip. I pull my finger free and toy with her clit. That alone has her panting and close. I can feel it. I can smell her fucking arousal and my cock wants more. It wants to slip inside of her and take her until she can’t breathe. Take her under she’s begging me to stop.
“Keaton. I…” she begins when I speed up. Circling her clit, she arches off the car, her teeth digging deeper into her lip. She’s fucking magnificent.
“Do it. Fuckin’ come for me, Skye. Come all over my fingers and let them all see what a dirty little girl you are.” Her eyes widen and her breathing becomes sporadic. Her hips start to rock against my hand as her orgasm waits to explode. A few more strokes and I slide my finger back inside of her as she comes.
“Oh fuck!” She screams before biting back into her already red lip as she tries to stifle the sounds coming out of her. My cock throbs as I slip my fingers from her and bring my hand between us.
“Look what you did,” I tell her holding my soaked fingers up in between us. Skye licks her lips and reaches for my hand but I shake my head and pull back. She watches me as she catches her breath. I bring my fingers to my lips and suck the sweetness from my fingers while she watches me with wide eyes.
“That was…” she begins but doesn’t finish.
“The only time.” I say ending the sentence and walking around to the driver’s side of the car.

Skye
He avoids me like I have a disease. Ever since that night in the parking lot, he keeps his distance. There’s something about him that calls to me but I also find myself attracted to Brick. He’s easy to talk to and very laid back. He likes to joke and smiles all the time. He’s basically the opposite of Keaton. Ruby has really taken an interest in Davis since they’ve been here. Three weeks of this shit and I’m ready to lose my mind. I don’t like them being in my space or watching my every move. I’ve asked Brick if they’ve heard anything about how long they are going to be here but he always says that’s a question for Keaton and seeing how he doesn’t want to speak to me, I don’t ask.
“Your eggs and bacon,” I say as I set the plate of food on the counter in front of Ben. He’s a regular in here and always tips well.
“Thanks, sugar,” he says with a grin. I glance over at Keaton sitting in the corner brooding as usual. He typically takes day shift here at the diner while Davis and Brick sleep at the apartment. He turns his head and his eyes find mine briefly before looking back out the window. I sigh and turn to grab the next set of plates to take to the tables.
“He seems extra moody today,” Ruby says leaning into me. I nod my head and say, “Yeah. I think he has male pms. It’s really annoying at the house too. Speaking of, you want to go to the lake later?” I shove away and deliver the plates to the correct table before walking back behind the counter.
“Yeah. Swimming? It’s so damn hot anymore,” Ruby says as she grabs empty glasses and sets them in the sink.
“I know and I need to get out of that house. I swear if I have to sit there with those three brooding around with beers in their hand any longer, I’ll scream.” I blow out an exaggerated breath when Billy rings the bell.
“Order up!” I spin around to grab it but I haven’t put any orders in.
“Who is this for?” I ask confused. Billy grins and nods his head toward Keaton.
“The man hasn’t eaten today, Skye. Gotta keep up his strength to deal with your stubborn ass,” he chuckles. I grab the plate and turn to look for Ruby but she’s busy with another table. I let out a sigh of frustration and walk around the counter, heading to the back corner where he sits. His eyes never come to look at me; he just stares out the window. I set his plate down and start to walk off when he grabs my wrist. I jolt and look back at him; the heat burning in his eyes makes me shiver.
“Sit down.” I lick my lips and glance around quickly making sure all the tables are taken care of before I slide into the seat across from him. He sits in silence that annoys me before I start to get back up.
“I know who you are,” he says his tone dark and deadly. I shake my head and look at him for more information than that.
“Yeah, we’ve established that. I’m Skye.”
“Hey, sweetheart! Can I get a refill?” Someone calls out behind me. I nod my head and hold up a finger, “Just a second!” Keaton growls in his throat pulling my attention back to him.
“Is that all you wanted?” I tilt my head to the side and glare at him. I don’t know what he’s getting at but I have work to do. When he doesn’t answer, I start to get up once more when he speaks.
“Skye Cameron DeLuca. That name mean anything to you?” His growl is loud and harsh. My stomach lurches as those three words leave his lips.
“Hey! Refill!” The guy behind me yells again. I stand up but Keaton is faster. He moves to the guy grabbing the glass from h
is hand and throwing it against the wall. It shatters into a million pieces. My hand covers my mouth hiding the scream that I almost released. I move quickly slamming my hands into Keaton’s strong chest.
“What the hell is wrong with you? You can’t just do that! Get out of here!” His eyes come to meet mine and that intense stare almost makes me cry. The heat and intensity are overwhelming.
“You’re leavin’. Tell your boss,” he says keeping his voice low. Shaking my head I try to move around him but he stops me. His hand lands on my stomach, pushing me back a step.
“Stop it! Just stop! I’m working, Keaton.”
“You’re done now! We need to talk.”
“We can talk later. I have work to do,” I snap back at him. Billy comes from the kitchen looking at the situation between us.
“Take off Skye. Get this handled and I’ll see you on Thursday,” he says never taking his eyes off Keaton.
“No. This is my job, Billy!” I protest. Billy pulls his eyes from Keaton’s and looks over at me, his hand coming to rest on my shoulder.
“I know, sweet cheeks and it’ll be here Thursday. Go get this taken care of,” he says nodding toward Keaton. I told Billy why they are hanging around or at least what I knew about it and he didn’t mind. I guess now that the asshole is breaking things, he’s getting sick of it. I nod my head and untie the back of my apron before pulling it off my body. I storm past them and behind the counter, grabbing my purse and heading toward the door. Keaton wastes no time following me as I give Billy a sorrowful look. He just smiles and nods back at me. As soon as the door closes behind us, I lunge for Keaton. I caught him off guard and swing my fist colliding with his cheek. My knuckles burn as I shake my hand trying to ease the pain.
“You done?” he asks seemingly pissed at the situation.
“What do you want? Why are you ruining my life?” I scream at him throwing my arms out to the sides.
“I know who you are. That means, there are many people that may want their hands on you.” I huff out a breath and shake my head before walking past him. I don’t stop either. I head through the tree line behind the diner. The branches and leaves crunch under my feet and I can hear Keaton not far behind me. I keep walking and don’t stop until I meet the lake. The birds chirp softly, the butterflies flitting around.
“It’s peaceful here. That’s why I like it. No noise, no fighting. Just silence.” Keaton doesn’t make a sound as he comes to stand next to me.
“Almost reminds me of home,” he says softly.
“Where is that?” I look up at him. He does the same looking at me but I can see the hesitation in his eyes.
“Myrtle Beach. Got a beach house up there but I don’t go there often,” he says but I can tell by the look in his eyes that he isn’t sure he should have told me. A smile creeps over my face.
“You don’t strike me as the beach boy,” I tease with a giggle. Keaton runs his hand through his hair and sighs.
“I am though. The ocean is calmin’. All this runnin’ around and shit that I do takes a toll and sometimes I just wanna hang out on the beach, enjoy the water.”
“I didn’t want to lie to you but I didn’t know why you were here to begin with,” I tell him truthfully. Keaton nods his head and pulls out a cigarette, lighting it up.
“I don’t know why I’m here, Skye. I wasn’t lyin’ when I said I got the job without any information. I was told to protect you but not from who.”
“How do you know who I am then?” Keaton chuckles and blows out a ring of smoke.
“I found it odd that I didn’t have information. I don’t like not knowin’ shit when it comes to my job. I looked into you. Researched.”
“And you found what?”
“Not much more than I had before aside from who you really are. What are you runnin’ from?” he asks watching me carefully.
“I’m not running really. I mean, I was but not anymore. This is where I want to be.”
“Not answerin’ my question, darlin’.”
“I didn’t want to be a part of that life, Keaton. It wasn’t me. My older brother knew it too. He helped talk my dad into letting me go off on my own. I ran as far as I could at first but then I kept circling back and ended up here. I figured the closer to home I was the less he’d look. He knew I wanted out.”
“They’re the fuckin’ mafia, Skye. How could you ever think you could out run them?” He snaps making me jolt.
“I did. It isn’t them! It was only my dad.” Keaton cusses and tugs at his hair with his free hand, the cigarette dangling from his lips. He looks so damn delicious when he’s aggravated.

The mafia. Of all the fucking things to be involved with and it’s the fucking mafia. Drug runners? I can handle those. Politicians? Easy as fuck but the mafia? Not just any mafia either it’s the fucking DeLuca clan. Scratching my jaw, I try to think of what to say or how to say it. I could bitch her out for lying but what would that do for me? I still know shit.
“Why would your brother want you to leave and why wouldn’t your dad fight you?” I ask her. She stares up at me with blank eyes. Eyes that don’t have a fucking answer either.
“I don’t know. I just know that my brother fought my dad telling him to let me go,” she says her tone softening. I flick my cigarette through the air watching it fall in the lake in front of us.
“You understand that bein’ around that life, you are attached to it, Skye. Doesn’t matter if you’re still there. Someone is lookin’ for you.” She shakes her head, her long dark hair tumbling around her shoulders. The softness in her gaze right now makes my chest clench. It reminds me too much of Beverly. That innocence, the way she looks at the world differently even though she lived in a lifestyle that didn’t fit her.
“Your dad has enemies. I don’t know who they all are ‘cause that isn’t my area.”
“What is your area?” She asks inquisitively. Her head tilts to the side her hand coming up to shield her face from the sun as she looks at me.
“Protection mainly. I do other odds and ends jobs when need be.” Her lips curl into a smile as she shakes her head.
“Drugs, guns, hookers. Like you said, I grew up in that world. You don’t have to lie to me about what you do, Keaton. I’ve known of some Mc’s that are trouble,” she tells me with that smile still in place.
“That’s different. I’m a Nomad. I run for no one in particular. I do my own thing on my own time. Of course, I do take jobs from other Mc’s but that’s it. I’m not affiliated with any of them.” Hoping that satisfies her line of questioning she grins bigger before lowering her hands to her shirt. I watch her kick of her shoes and toe off her socks before the shirt goes off next. Grabbing the button on her shorts she flicks it open and slowly slides them down her legs never breaking eye contact with me.
“What are you doin’?” Skye doesn’t say a word as she turns giving me a great fucking view of her ass as she jumps in the water. I shake my head wondering what the hell I’ve gotten into taking this job. She’s clearly not worried about herself and now I have to deal with that shit too.
“Come on, biker boy! The water is warm,” she hollers before splashing water up at me. I shake my head again and watch as Skye swims around the lake without a care. If she can be that fucking carefree with her life what the hell is the point in me watching her? I’m here to fend off any motherfucker that comes near her but if she isn’t going to at least have a tiny bit of common sense this shit isn’t going to work.
“Get your ass outta the water,” I call out to her. Skye swims in a circle before coming back toward me. She climbs out, her long black hair sticking to her wet skin. Droplets falling down her shoulders and sliding between her tits. Fuck! My cock can’t take much more of this. Skye walks toward me her eyes on fire.
“Can’t have any fun?” she asks keeping her eyes on mine.
“Not with a job I can’t.”
“You’re an asshole,” she sneers.<

“I don’t know you. I don’t know what’s ran up through there and I’m not in the mood to find out.” That may have been a little on the harsh side but this girl is driving me insane. For weeks I’ve watched her flaunt her ass around in front of me and the guys and I am near my breaking point.
“I’m sure the shrimp dick you got tucked away is far from something I’d want anyway.” Grabbing her shirt off the ground she starts to pull it over her head when I’ve had enough. I let out growl of frustration as she laughs.
“You’re probably so loose it’s like droppin’ a wrench down a manhole.” Her laughter bubbles out of her until her face turns red.
“That’s really sweet,” she laughs harder. I walk up behind her, grab her around the waist and shove her so she bends over in front of me.
“You want sweet, darlin’? Should have gone to the candy store. I’m about to show you what I’m packin’.” In the matter of seconds I have my jeans undone and around my ankles with the condom wrapper between my teeth. One rip and I pull it out before sliding it on quickly. Pulling her thong to the side, I teaser her entrance.
“What’s wrong, sweetheart? No more smartass comments? Wanna tell me how small it is now?” I push her. I ease in and listen to her moan.
“Come on now. Make it believable!” I growl as I slam all the way into her. Skye screams my name as I grip her hips and plunge into her. The harder I thrust, the louder she gets.
“What the hell is going on back there?” I hear a voice screaming. I don’t listen even as Skye tries to pull away from me.
“Where the fuck do you think you’re goin’?” I ask pumping into her harder and harder.
“Someone’s out there!” She squeals as if I give a shit. I’m not done and I don’t plan on stopping. I wrap my arm around her waist, toying with her clit. Her pussy clenches and my eyes roll back in my head. That’s too fucking good and tight. A grunt leaves me when she giggles.
