"Now, this is something that we need to do, Tornado and Brook will inflitrate the first three gates with their three units and Shizuka and I will take over the last three gates. I know that the Bloodlust Revelation will be expecting us once we make it inside. Black's a master tactician and he'd do whatever it'd take to provoke us to make the first move, so I want to try and think ahead of him."

The team had broken through different sectors of the group. They're broke into one warrior of different elements to take control of the first; water, fire, earth wind, star and steel. All seven of the entrances have been developed by Black to try and confuse his oppoents on which directions in Leserado to take to reach the Leserado Balcony in time to stop him and Crystal from reanimating Kuronina, who is presently cocooned.

"Now this is the mission. It took myself and your leaders week after week to plan this all out. You've all worked too long and too hard to back down from a fight and this isn't just a fight that's worth saving a comrade, but also the planet. We cannot let that occur everyone. Understand?"

"Yes, ma'am," Everyone uttered in unison as they stood and saluted with a high quality of respect to their Core General of the Intoxian Army.

  "Good. Now here's the--"

Lola's plot seemed broken down by loud echoes of gunshots from outside the enlarged Meeting Room. No, don't tell me that he's already made his move! Lola's thought had spooked her for a split minute, but had to neutralize her role by sending a few of her best soldiers out to aid those that are on par with the intruders.

"General, send out help," an antique white-skinned soldier bellowed with worry in his eyes. He saw an Akuma Beast approaching him, but managed to save hisself by impaling the beast in the throat with the sword in hand, strongly jerking it out to the left and decapitating it. He panted, busting into the room, but before he had a chance to speak his piece about the situation, another individual emerged from behind him, stapling it's hands from behind and imploding his skull off his shoulders with blood splashed over the place.

"You-- You son of a bitch," Lola bellowed gawking over at the image of one of her sworn enemies that have committed an immoral sin from eleven years earlier.

The planning to reach Tomb of Leserado in less than twenty hours had grew even slimmer than Lola had planned. No matter how much planning and strategies she brings to the table; Black had always seemed to stay more than several moves ahead of her.

"I guess this is revenge for what I did to you when you and the Cyrius Organization abducted my son eleven years ago. Dusia Mizuka, the daughter of Charlie V. Mizuka!"

Dusia Mizuka is one of the fellow members of Flute Mizuka, who abducted Hitachi Mizuka when he was seven years old. Since the day Lola rescued him from the notorious group alone, they haven't been active until today.

"I still need to repay you for what you did to your own family, Lola. You tried to kill your flesh and blood because of our little scheme and you expect for us to stay down? Not a chance, now I'm going to be the one calling the shots," Dusia uttered.

The woman appeared with razzmatazz pink hair. She wore a red-brown bra and had on a long trench coat that was in rich black. All ten of her nails were long and polished in complete purple heart.

Dusia Mizuka is also a thirteen-year Cyrius organization member whose been ravenous for revenge against the Intoxian Army for the murder of the former leader of their group.

"Everyone, I need you all to find an exit, I know there's one on the other of the brief room from where I sat at. I don't want to explain too much, but the more time you guys stand there, the less reinforcements and units we'll have to divide," Lola commanded, making the others do what's right.

Chapter 38 - The Deadly Deception

  ***

Still revved up in the lower levels of Widow's Forest, the battle had reached it's climax and no one was victorious, Charlie had been bruised and beaten by Shiver and Rouge. Emerald had managed to get the upper hand into allowing Renasakuya to make the smart choice for the sake of her forest by coming along with and there's going to be a tremendous gap of award from Black by the time they've returned; from which the war shall begin a few minutes after their arrival. On the contrary, Emerald had something else in mind.

"Black shall await your arrival at Leserado immediately," Emerald stated, using his energy to creating a rift strong enough to get to make it back to the Tomb in time.

"You may think that you've had this battle won, but in reality, you're more foolish than I could have realized," The Amili Beast snapped, instantly snatching her hands away from her.

Renasakuya altered into her human state a while before was manipulated by Emerald's encouragement to attend the Leserado battle. It will go to show that there's more than meets the eye for her if she's not capable of seeing her sister after fifteen years. Nothing about her character is ultimately special except she loves to rid those who threaten her.

"Smart move on your behalf, Amili Beast," Emerald remarked in an unpleased tone.

"Shut up," Renasakuya was the first to enter the portal, followed by Shiver, who stormed in after them. Charlie, however, prevented that from happening. Bursting into high speed, Rouge stepped in and delivered flying kick at her oppenent with the flames oozing out from beneath her feet. Charlie rocketed her body once he deflected the blow, going spine-first into the wall.

Absorbing themselves into the rift, Emerald had waited patiently for Charlie to come afterwards. Hoping that the forces of light wouldn't follow them behind, it's only natural that they'd be cautious and not let them escape without a fighting chance.

"Come on, hurry," Shiver bellowed, encouraging the others, who have been wounded, to get to their feet quickly. She used another ability of hers known as the Artic Link.

Artic Link is a technique that allows Shiver to use a strong stream of frozen rope from her fingers to connect to any part of her opponent's body and stay attached to them for an extended period of time (which in this case, if Charlie were to make it through the rift, Shiver would follow in behind.)

"Guys, I need you all to take a different route since I can't risk having you guys break through with me," Shiver held on to the Mizuka Assassin's left leg as he squirmed incredibly across the battlefield as he saw the portal growing dimmer by the minute.

He then stood, trying her best to break free from Shiver's Artic Link; only to be embraced from behind by the Head Administrator of Global Government.

"Wait, Shiver, don't go!" Rouge tried running in after the two. Sadly, to Charlie's expectations, Shiver suddenly felt her body growing hot as she felt the back of her spine steaming as she screamed dramatically.

The Radical Heated Snake had roped itself around her frame as he bounced straight into the portal.

Rouge hollered as she tried running with the others behind her. She even slithered crazily at the rift. Before long, the rift had faded away into a flash of light, nearly knocking the Apex Magician away from the scene. This had cost Rouge the opportunity to say thank you to the Head-Administrator. Worried sick that she may die by the time she makes it there with the others in pursuit of attacking the Bloodlust Revelation. Rouge trashed herself onto the ground after she thought made it through.

Gawking endlessly at nothing but emptiness and her fellow warriors, Rouge drilled her clutched hands into the ground, shouting in disappointment for not being more persistent about the circumstances as she watched a fellow leader of her sister vanish into thin air.

  ***

Only twenty minutes have surpassed time since Shiver was brought back to the Tomb of Leserado and was instantly imprisoned by the Bloodlust Revelation. In the meantime, Black and the Amili Beast had both been in the bottom level of Dragon's Fortress, as they continued to trail deeper into the premises.

He's always suspected that The Amili Beast was capable of trying to heed his wording, but the efforts had been paid off by threatening her life as well as the others.

"You got what I came for, Black. Don't make t
his a disappointment or else you'd be a prime example to those that tries to trick me with lies and manipulation," Renasakuya quotes with horrendous rage that vibrated through her voice.

"Try not to sound so confident. You'd be intelligent enough to know where you are right," Black retorted, connected his skeletal hand to the back of his scythe, praying that he doesn't have to strike.

"Sadly for you, your plan wasn't as successful as it should've been before Diamond died. If there's any expectation of courtesy from me, you'd be a fool to think that I wasn't smart enough to know who I'm dealing with," The Beast was trying her best to antagonize the Reaper; who remained calm and decided to not let any emotions intercept with his attentiveness.

"Let's continue onward downstairs. The Aruba Beast isn't going to try and break itself out of it's coccoon," Black's patients fell even lower but thought for those like the Amili Beast testing his authorities and understanding that he's willing to do too much. "I happened to do more research about your family traits and what weaknesses you have."

"Is that so? I'd be happy to find out what they are so I can prove to you that you'll always be one step behind us," Renasakuya had pressed the last button and felt the sharp end of the scythe standing before her neck. The Reaper couldn't resist the task any longer, but soon realized that he's more mature than that.

"The Avarian Beast sure as hell have been a threat to this planet for far too long and I'd say enough of it," Black broke from frantic to calm. He then dared himself to describe the nature of the Beasts, "As far as I'm concerned, I say that Diamond's honorable death was far more accurate and appropriate than your sister's will ever be."

Narrowing her eyes angrily, Renasakuya felt the immense disrespect. Even after all the years that she and her sister had been on opposing sides and always trying to outdo the other, the Amili Beast still held a huge gap of love and respect for the Aruba Beast.

"I'm going to let you slide with that one, Black," The Amili Beast surrendered the argument, not allowing the situation to escalate.

"Good. Let's make this quick and simplistic, Renasakuya. This is one of the best days of your life, my dear. Don't disappoint me," Black sheathed weapon onto his back once again as he allowed the creature to go ahead of him.

As distrusting as he is, Black still had a tendency of showing off his true colors to his surroundings. In addition, people, animals, places, all of the above.

  ***

Deep within the abyss of the same prison Crystal was held in, Shiver had felt her eyes burning a beet red. She couldn't breathe due to the aftermath of the battle with Charlie. Wincing and whimpering in seer pain, her heart began felt as if it's disconnected the arteries. She then screamed helplessly.

Charlie stood at the cell, chuckling with his eyes narrowed, leaning his forehead on the rusty arylide yellow bars.

"The pain and torture that I love to see any woman suffer through is so appealing. Hey, Shiver; not so tough now, are you?" Charlie whispered his question toward the weakened head-administrator. "I know. It's pretty sad and painful to see you go through it. It would be a tragedy to die with no one to witness it. I've made a few arrangements with Black to decide your fate; that is if you're still alive after the next twenty-four hours. Who knows, if that's the case, then I can't say I feel any pity for you. You decide your own decision and I'll be sure it's one that you regret."

Panting while faced down on her face and her body erupting like a volcano's explosion. She could still see Charlie, but struggled to make a statement. She felt nausea, trying to squirm like a worm to reach the bars, but her will to do was too slippery for her to grasp.

"How long she's been in this position," Emerald came from behind with his air force blue eyes glowing from the darkness.

"Why does it matter? We've accomplished our goal with a fucking bonus. Capturing an Aruba-- Or two Arubas was one of the most marvelous things we've accomplished in the past decade," Charlie quoted. "If I'm not mistaking, Emerald, didn't you say that the product of the Diary Symbols was as priceless to those that don't share an Aruba Bloodline with you, Crystal or Shiver?"

"I did. It makes a lot of sense that people world-wide are trying their hardest to get just one power that's virtually impossible to decipher," The Aruba member of Bloodlust saw everything different. "The orginal democracy of the Diary Symbol host are mainly females. Us males don't really have a lot interest in cherishing so many animals to point to where we can obtain that power; according to the logic of the Avarian Beast Kuronina. But the one thing that's concerning me the most is far greater than revealing that man-eating beast."

"What's that? Something about you seems appealing than dealing with this dog on the ground," Charlie's peak of interest had always been eager and sometimes sharp, depending on circumstances.

"The one theory that I have the most is Diamond must've used the Diary Symbols for something else. About a week ago, Crystal and I had a talk about it when she found out her Mom was Diamond K. Aruba herself. The one thing I'm assuming is that Kuronina must've willingly allowed Diamond to surrender in order to seal her away for as long as she could muster," Emerald nearly pinpointed the reasoning behind Diamond's actions.

"Sounds pretty inconvient because Diamond would never commit suicide during a massive battle. Especially from a stubborn woman who'd take on any challenge," Charlie aced his opinion, but he also felt Shiver's right palm grasping around his left ankle.

"You-- You son of a bitch," Shiver snarled fiercely, but her tone was stony and deep. The sweat had escaped through her forehead, sliding down between her chest. "I-- I won't let you--- I won't let you--"

Desperate to speak in the physical condition she's in, Shiver's grip was released, not because of sweatness, but blacking out. Charlie gawked down with a miracle. Shiver's sights have gave out with her bloody growing even dryer.

Charlie asked as without looking the man in the eyes, "You were saying?"

"It's be a lot better if you paid attention to what I'm saying than something that's not moving right now," Emerald said.

Charlie turned his head back at the white-haired man and listened.

"The one thing that I highly doubt a lot of people had thought of is that Crystal's connection to the Avarian Beast is possibly the cost of Diamond's life. Birthing a child, relinquishing the Diary Symbols after two agonizing days of depression, why else would Black go after her?" It never struck everyone else around the world that heard the horrors of Diamond's death. The Leserado War is what impacted impacted billions lives world-wide. "Diamond would have fought back had she'd not been pregnant, had she'd not been depressed because what kind of General gets emotional in front of an entire army?"

"You make a solid point. You and Crystal must've had quite the conversation, huh?"

"Precisely. Not everything runs accordingly. Everyone's got plans, but at the end of the day when it comes to Bloodlust Revelation, they all have roots back to Black's plans and how no one's thought ahead of him."

Well, Charlie, the last thing on my mind is having a conversation with you about my blood, Emerald thought toward himself.

It wasn't coincidence, but Charlie knew what was on Emerald's mind, "If there's something else you're more used to talking about, then speak your mind and don't seem too hesitant, boy."

"I'll keep that in mind," Emerald was the first to walk out of the Tomb's Prison floor, tailed by Charlie who barely forgot that Shiver had her arm held outside the bars.

I'll let this bitch just make her decision, Charlie then closed the door behind him as he went in the other direction to do whatever he had on his twisted, grim mind.

  ***

Two Mizukas had engaged in a heated battle with the others trying to escape the ship with their parachutes. Unfortunately on foot, it'd take four hours to reach Leserado. By the time the army makes it there, they'll be too exhausted to fight.

Lola's fist rammed into Dusia's face, but a shield of flames had encircled the rogue Mizuka's face, grabbing Lola's arm and
pulling her in for an attack. However, the General was no fool. She vanished through a flash of mist trailing behind her. In the instant, she drilled her fist into the back of Dusia's spine.

Dusia flew across the hallways, nearly hitting the back of her cranium on the door to the meeting room. She was too quick to move out of Lola's incoming attack. They nearly lost their breath after nine minutes of their battle. The Mizuka General couldn't trash anymore of her time, knowing what's at stake.

She engaged Dusia with a series of bicycle kicks at her combatant, but missed as soon as the heartless warrior motioned her upper body backwards until she landed on her hands. She flipped over and kicked out three fireballs from her left thigh to the bottom of her feet.

The attack was Triple Threat, a technique that allowed Dusia to duplicate three more images of herself and engage at her adversary at the same time.

Lola nearly lost her balance, bolting toward all three false entities. She dodged a kick, a clothesline and a fist to the jaw, and went straight for the source. The pink-haired Cyrius member was stunned, hoping that the woman would be caught off guard if she had a chance to hit her.

The Core General launched herself at the enemy with her skull colliding into the abdomen, drilling the air from within the body. The hallway fell into silence, followed by Lola launching her fist toward the chin and launching the sinister Mizuka across the hall and landing flat on her stomach.

All three of the duplicates of Dusia's appearance had formed back into flaming orbs as they nearly caught the General off Guard.

Wincing in pain, Lola fell to the ground. She had to block off the pain as she hoisted herself from the ground. She panted rapidly and heavily with her eyes nearly giving out. She grew exhausted and had to use her trump card before she ran out of strength.

There's no way I can keep this up, Lola claimed, not understanding that she still had a lot of fight left in her. She simultaneously approached Dusia who stood from the ground. The two of them joined fists with a spark of flames spilling and splashing all around. The then exchanged a series of punches; Lola moved her head back, swiftly motioning her foot at Dusia with in a series of kicks. Each of the blows going in different directions until Dusia got a hold of it.
