Intoxia Warriors - Mizuka Blood (Book One) Page 43

by De'Karhi Philpot

The Apex Magician launched it at the Mizuka Assassin to take control of the match. She then had it trail automatically behind the white-haired monster. Suddenly, but she had a chance to catch Charlie off guard after performing the Serpentine Manipulation, Charlie shot out a series of flames of spider webs prisoning the Black Snake with ease. He thought he had was one step ahead of Rouge, but to his expectations, the youngest Granddaughter slammed her hands together with a strong boom. The sides of the trapped Black Serpent's face bubbling with heat. Moments later, the Black Snake had triggered two more figures of it's original image out with the blackness oozing downward toward the ground.

Anema whistled in surprise at the prowess of Rouge Mizuka. She had always suspected that Lola and Rouge had something hidden within them. Knowing both her daughters, she slowly developed a complexity to decide rather or not to join the fight or to sit back and watch without making a suspicious move. The woman didn't waste any more time but had given herself the authority to stay back a bit longer.

For whatever reason she's chosen to stay back and watch the entirety of the fight scene, Anema had felt another image placing it's palm on her right shoulder. She never jumped in fear, but rotated her eyes to the back of the corner and soon realized who was behind her: Flute Mizuka, who played a tune to trigger leaf-green vines coiling itself around the Mizuka warrior without any problem.

A mask of evilness had spanned across Anema's face with a steam exposing from deep within her body. She then flipped backwards, in result of dragging Flute out into the battleground. The Mizuka Melodist had then unsheathed a weapon from within her instrumental object. It became a new technique Flute learnt released a few months after her last confrontation with the Cyrius organization.

Two vital members of opposing sides had been taking their fighting into a different class by itself. Crystal's symbols hadn't been active very much, using various attacks against the General while exposing Lola even more than she's ever had.

She's constantly been telling Lola bit by bit that she was choosing her job over her family way more than she could realize.

"The Intoxian Army are always pushing you around into running that pathetic industry instead of protecting your own family. It made me sick to my stomach that I felt you've hated me."

They looked in sheer horror. Some were surprised, Lisa had a bewildered smile on her face, Black didn't think about the results as he came at Tornado once more.

He tried to impale the scythe across the Southern General; he succeeded, but Black was disappointed by the results. After the sharp ending of the weapon struck Tornado across his body, he flew. Strangely, which became a fortunate thing, duplicated his fake form and managed to slip his way across the upper level. This stunt never threw Black into a roller coaster of emotions. He smashed his knee at the real Tornado's chest. He felt the blood spilling through his mouth, aching his heart very instantly and knocking down toward his back.

Tornado then glanced and viewed a very disturbing image from his fellow comrade and former student of Ujikadaka Academy...

She used her Jetbird Arrow to strike Crystal, but it was repelled by the Eagle's left wing after surging from within the left side of Crystal's spine. It sent the burning arrow in the other direction. The Core General felt another aura. The force had nearly sent chills into her spine. Backing away from when the Eagle Symbol was triggered, it had forced the Mizuka General back away from the Aruba fighter. She then tried to gain some theories on what it was. For a weird reason it didn't feel like it as the Aruba Avarian's power, but it nearly began to confuse her to the point her life nearly ended.

Lola was caught off guard in a split second. But right after Crystal's sword penetrated straight through the woman's abdomen. In a split second, everyone around them had stopped the ensuing battle.

Deep within a huge pillar of light is a full-red figure defenseless with a sword penetrated through her abdomen from the full-purple image that pulled the trigger. All it was but a faceless image rosing it's head up and staring down at the opposing height of her adversary.

Within minutes, the entirety of the scene was covered in complete complete redness and the background a shamrock green and stizza red.

The two colored images had been removed and reformed back to its' original figures and appearances. Staring over at Lola, her stomach was penetrated immensely. Crystal's face remained calm but cold eyes peering up at the woman that raised her.

"Now do you understand, Lola? This is the type of pain that you've all bestowed upon me. Well it's your turn, I hope you enjoy your time as an afterlife citizen," Crystal quickly removed the blade from with spot and had no conscious of the results.

All there was was tangerine dust blowing across the lobby with everyone still frozen. They witnessed the Core General slowly falling flat onto her back with blood spilling from underneath her. Tornado's right eye cocked, due to the fact he was nursing his body and struggled to get back into the brawl.

  All was stunned.

Except for one image who had a solid change of expression that went from shocked to a turmoil pool of anger, backlash and gore. All eyes suddenly turned into another direction of where the aura of black mist stirred up the atmosphere and took the scenario to a different stage.

  Chapter 47 - Brainwashed By A Reaper

  ***

In a bloodied hallway fill with a huge trial of ice, limps and corpses, Ivy and Shiver had accomplished their part of the task had continued onward to the upper levels where the battle's just begun. From what they weren't aware is that Crystal is up there battling the Core General. Based off of some of her experiences in training with the Core General, Ivy knew that Lola couldn't be defeated that easily against the rogue organizations.

For an odd reason, Shiver saw it differently: She wasn't too sure and felt uneasy to try and make an assumption if the Northern General was doing fine. She didn't bother speaking her mind about the leader but instead convinced herself that Lola wasn't going to be doing great. She rushed back into the scene to aid Ivy to help her up. Shiver walked over toward the Poison warrior and saw a variety of different enemies coming from every direction she could possibly think.

"Ivy, we have to get you out of here," Shiver implied sweetly, which isn't too surprising to the canine.

"You're right. This is a battle of the fittest, so we'll take care of our little problems with each other once Black and his group have been ," Ivy advised, altering back into her human state. "You have a shortcut? We'll never get up to the lobby level at this rate."

"You're too naive, Ivy," Shiver giggled, but patted the canine's head. "Just follow me and I'll be sure that we make it out of here without any effort."

The scene had flashed through a ball of darkness where everyone had been hesitant for the last five minutes. It wasn't to Black's surprise that Crystal would do whatever it took to thrust the blade deep within the Core General's abdomen.

Blood drip-dropped from the sharp end of the blade after it impaled itself through Lola. She felt her body growing heavy and her head began to ache. Both her eyes had grew eerie and she was losing both sights in her dark-green eyes. Crystal's face was blanked out and she was surprised herself that she did what her mind was set out to do. Black had enforced her to keep word by killing the ones close to her.

(Two hours before the battle began)

"You thought that Lola was going to be the one to make you look bad, but the one thing that you must understand is that death can happen to anyone. I can easily make a conclusion to choose who would win or lose the battle. But I personally envisioned that you'll prevail over Lola Mizuka," Black said, looking up at the ceiling filled with a bunch of skeletal corpses of former warriors of the Intoxian Army who had tried but failed dramatically to kill him.

"What's are you implying, Black? Are you capable of pinpointing the time when I can easily defeat my opponents before I even realize it?" Crystal was highly stu
nned and misunderstanding the perspective.

"What I'm saying is that if you execute your plan and perform it perfectly, you won't have that much to lose or worry about in the end," Black corrected, raising from the chair he's been sitting on for the last nineteen hours without making a sudden move and not being disrupted by anyone, not even his youngest apprentice.

"I'll give you the opening to make a decision of your own for once in the epic battle. Don't expect any sympathy from Lola if you're going to go all out on her," Black warned.

"Are you OK?" Crystal was highly catering to the Grim Reaper. It was one of the rarest things for Black to gain from either of his companions. Normally, Black would simply brush it off without getting the others attention.

"I'm fine, young one. There isn't a shadow of a doubt that I can handle myself to the extent in any specific battle that are important and vital to my plan," Black stated as he sat back down. He took the hood off his head, slowly rising his body up by a few feet and moving himself over toward the entrance to meet up with some of the recruits that he's gained from different corners of the world.

I'll have to hurry-- Black had stopped moving his body and nearly chocked immensely, as he got a hold of the door.

Hitachi's mind had nearly shattered as he ran at full speed. His sword had been unsheathed fiercely, storming at Crystal with his eyes steaming red. The General's son engaged the Aruba apprentice of Black Hinura without hesitation.

Crystal then had a smile descending upon her face. She kicked Lola out of the sword and knocked her directly to the ground. The broiled fury of the Aruba warrior came fast and inevitably. She willed her sword at Hitachi with both their weapons smashed together as they took their fight to another level.

For an odd reasoning, Crystal felt something strange going on with Hitachi, as far as the quality of his movements and how much speed he's gained within the last month of them training separatedly. Actually, this was way beforehand: It was back when they were at Ujikadaka Academy, and Hitachi was told by several tons of people that he was not only the Core General's biological son, but he was also the most promising student to ever attend the enlarged Academy.

Crystal on the other hand, was the most intellectual student to set foot within the academy as well. It was more of like the battle of intelligence vs physical strength and speed. Due to Hitachi's lack of liking toward Crystal at the time, it's what cost him the sparring match.

All he hoped for as he attacked even more and more with brute force was that reality wouldn't repeat itself again in this life or death situation.

After watching Lola collapsed to the ground, Sonya ran over wildly with her heart taking control of her actions with fear and disbelief of what she's emotionally experiencing.

"Lola," Sonya's voice boomed dramatically as she stormed onto her knees and tried to embrace the red-haired leader.

Looking over in the direction to where they've been glaring at, Black had continued his assault against Tornado as he kicked him, squarely, in the face. The motion from the impact was immense as the canine General. He stormed irresistably at Tornado with his scythe in play as he prepared to chop off one of trump cards of the Intoxian Army.

In retrospect, due to his combat experience against Black, Tornado knew that it wasn't going to occur as easily as the Reaper had thought. Out of nowhere, two massive, lavender indigo paws surged from within his paws after he ducked beneath the attack and thrust both of them into the heart of Black Hinura. The vile ringleader flew back, yet to the point of going off the highest platform of the Leserado Lobby.

The attack Tornado had triggered was the Gurasa Blitz - Bashijiko. Both of his paws blew an incredible amount of breeze brushing thoroughly in the main entrance as the Poison hero used one of his trump cards.

Black had slowed himself down before hitting the ground completely. He used the scythe to prevent the force of the fall to become powerful. Even if he were to land violently on his body-less back, he'd still receive no damage from the effect.

"These last eight years haven't changed, huh, Poison?" Black questioned with a sign of horrible laughter while slamming both his skeletal feet onto the ground.

Black sure has gotten a lot tougher. But that's alright though. I can't say I blame him for saying that, so I can say that I'm enjoying myself as a soon-to-be veteran of the Intoxian Army, so why not?

Suddenly, a huge speck of dust had dribbled down in between the cracks of the ceiling while the battle was growing even more and more. Everyone hadn't been paying attention because they were too focused on the duels. Tornado was the only one noticing as his scent of smell had detected another entity was coming from outside the Tomb of Leserado.

  ***

From the outside of the premises, the Red Dragon had continously gawked down with it's face blocked out through sheer darkness with the color of its' red eyes giving out the hunger signal to its' stomach.

It didn't waste anymore time as it lifted its' skull up with a strong aura of flames piling up from within the jaws before it had flew up a few feet in the air. Several seconds later, being twenty-two feet above the grounds that's above the surface of Leserado's Lobby, the dragon had splashed nearly a huge pillar of flames straight through the heart of the Tomb's stages.

Once it's made an impact, the flames had slowly blasting through the roof of the lobby with a crowd of trashing downward to everyone that was beneath them. Tornado had blurred his way toward Sonya and Lola in exchange of protecting them with his physical body. However, he used a flash of force field to block away the huge avalanche of pebbles storming in various directions.

Hitachi and Crystal moved in the same direction; only after Hitachi shoved Crystal in the opposing direction to "supposedly" save her life. Crystal's body crashed against the wall as she witnessed Hitachi's right leg was simultaneously crushed. He screamed endlessly with his eyes widening in pain.

Somewhere deep within the 'black-heart' of Crystal, there was a small part in her body that was telling her that she relived the events of when she was younger, Hitachi had managed to protect from a group of academy bullies after he getting ambushed for defending her.

But a huge chunk of her heart was nearly shattering. She was motioning her frame in various directions, trying to confuse her opponent. A split second, she was moving at the speed of the Lioness Symbol once it was activated. She finally smashed through her endless choice of directions, plunging her way towards the man.

Hitachi couldn't predict her movements as he was hit by an unknown claw that surged through Crystal's Black Sword. However, he bend his body back with the blur of a dark-haired Aruba speeding right above him, only to feel a solid kick to her stomach connected by the bottom of his foot. She was sent sky-high by the blow and came to an immediate halt. Hitachi felt his body growing hotter, due to the emotional interference and what's triggered his motives to go full throttle.

He gritted his teeth as he watched angrily. But before he could charge at his opponent, he felt his sword grasped and cacooned. It was stripped from his grip and he never knew what to do. The sword flew directly at the owner of the webs as she got a hold of it.

Followed by the apperance of the Avarian Beast of the Amili Bloodline: Renasakuya, the tsunami of dust had blanked throughout the whole lobby. Emerging from within the earth yellow, clouds, the Red Dragon had finally arised with it's shady, black image fading away into the original color.

Tornado had moved Sonya and Lola's figures as he saw the beast towering all their heights combined and roared immaculately; thoroughly echoing through the entirety from Leserado's Lobby to the bottom level of the tomb. It blew a very stellar wind from it's breath, breezing all of the heated smoke of the dust as it all went in various directions.

Black then spoke, but in a tone to where he's satisfied, "It's been a long time since I've seen that transformation. Perhaps I'll have to find a much more appropriate way to kill you."

"It wouldn't be the first time I've shown yo
u this stage, but it will be the last time you see, Black," Shizuka Siya, appearing in the form of the anthropomorphic Red Dragon, spanned her wings out miraculously as they flopped slowly to the point of where they've begun sinking deep within her spine. "Using the force of the Sheer Zerukin Blitz is less grueling to operate than from when I first obtained it. But if I have to do or die using this form, then so be it. But best believe that I will not let you surround the darkness from around Crystal's heart without you putting up a fight against more than one General."

Black seemed disappointed by Shizuka's ambitions to help save Crystal. Her devotion to Lola's army of how much she's always wanted to surpass her childhood friend, and fellow General. Hence that Lola's been the one trained by Shizuka to be a good leader and how to withstand a massive pressure.

Unfortunately, Shizuka's training toward Lola hadn't been as appealing to the Core General as she had hoped once she caught up to them at Leserado. She's witnessed the red-haired Mizuka heroine lying down on the ground with an open wound and Sonya catering to look for medical support. Unfortunately, all those plans weren't as well executed as Lola had anticipated from the get-go.

Lola, Shizuka gawked over at the weeping seventeen year-old Sonya who held up the woman in her arms. Don't die on me, Lola. I know you can take more than that!

Heated flames had once again swirled around Shizuka's form, but was then stopped by Renasakuya's webs. She had pulled herself in closer to prevent the Western General from derailing the plans she's had from when they came to the country of Leserado.

"Wait a minute, Siya," Renasakuya bellowed as she released the webs from around the Western-Leader's entire frame. "It's not wise for you to use this movement. I know this from experience by challenging your fellow members of the Siya Bloodline to attempt this goal. But this plan of mine isn't going to be easy to use. So I need you to bare with me on this."
