However, after each of them were cut down, Marscilla then twirl her sword around to create a duplicate as she replenished her slashes with the number of Spheres Lola launched at her with each hit. Fortunately, they weren’t fast enough to trounce Lola head-on as some of them struck the walls of the Blue-Eyes Fortress.

Kuronina in the meantime couldn’t help but witness a fight that was already sky-rocketing. She noticed Crystal moving at high speed once she motioned her Lioness Symbol to travel down to where her legs are located. Spanning the energy of the Symbol into that segment of her body. She was barely confident enough to rely on it, but that’s when Lola had a plan. She's managed to released the Diary Symbol Ritual, eh? Diamond, I guess it was your time to go and open the gates to the current generation, huh?

The Mizuka General used her Energy Signal to associate with Crystal. But as far as her mind was, Crystal couldn’t concentrate while talking telepathically to those trying to reach her.

Damn it, she won’t be able to hear me through thoughts, Lola claimed. She didn’t waste no time spearing her way at Marscilla as Crystal ducked a sinister right swing from Marscilla, who then motioned her body in the air and tried to pinpoint where Crystal would get hit. Trying her best to pelt Crystal completely in half, but the Aruba hostess felt another Symbol activated from behind her back. Spreading outward from her spine, two large wings slipped in at the last second and blocked the attack.

Followed by a kick to the jaw from the Mizuka General, who used her Bursting Kick in exchange, Marscilla crashed against a tall stone spine-first. She felt the blood fleeing from her mouth. Gasping for air, Marscilla’s frame nearly collapsed. It was only a matter of time before she’s forced to revert back to her human state.

Even after the training with Lisa earlier this month, it easily wouldn’t have been enough for her soloing both of these phenomenal heroines. Furthermore, all that time with planning to kill Crystal seemed, somewhat, backhanded when Lola stepped into the fight.

“I have to admit: You’re actually more talented than Hiba was and she tried the hardest. Considering all the time you’ve trained and trained and yet you’re still lacking the potential to even defeat me,” Marscilla bragged while coughing.

“I’d rather not talk about how much training I’ve put into myself. I’m more concerned about kicking your ass and getting back home. Let’s just finish this so we can move on,” Lola stated swiftly and impatiently.

“Anxious to die? Suit yourselves,” Marscilla stated. But before she could make the next move, she used some of her own energy of the Renugarasaka to develop her stamina for she won’t feel worn out until the battle was over. I know from what I’ve heard of Black, based on his experience of fighting an Aruba, I remembered that each of the Symbols that Crystal’s using could only last for an hour as a whole. I’ll have to find some way to decrease the timing. The time can end prematurely if I play it smart. But Lola’s going to be a huge distraction. She’s fought myself and Bloodlust Revelation, but not long enough to the point where she knows we’re at the pinnacles. But I won’t waste my mind or breath bragging about it. I have to fight smarter to get the upper hand. If I don’t I can just kiss Black goodbye.

Marscilla thought of using the obstacles of Blue-Eyes Fortress to her advantage. It may not be as easy as she’s expecting, but it’d be the only way for her to stay one step ahead of the two.

Unfortunately for the Bloodlust Revelation member, she wasn’t the only one who could try and outwit her adversaries on many aspects.

This is somewhat a massive area, especially when it’s buried deep within the heart of Leserado. I can easily just take my time and analyze it during the process of the battle, Lola thought to herself. She then realized the pacing of the battle had slowed down and she had the chance to get in contact with Crystal. Crystal, can you hear me?

I can hear you. What is it? Crystal replied strongly but in a kind tone.

This is the best chance for us to go ahead and try to outsmart Marscilla if we want to make it out of here alive. I happened to learn a new trick from when I was having a word with your mom back when she was General. But it’s not going to be that easy, Lola made a suggestion in terms of trying to strategize.

I sure hope you’re right. ‘Cause at this rate, if Marscilla wins and strips me of the Diary Symbols, the Intoxian Army will soon become a dead memory to them, Crystal worried with her purple-eyes gazing over at the downed enemy who slowly took her time to approach them. We need to hurry up and get rid of this monster, fast. I’m barely running out of time with my Diary Symbols.

Your stamina can’t keep up with them? Lola asked with her attention focused on Marscilla.

No. I’m trying my best to rely on the speed. I still feel a bit timid about dying and—

Crystal. Don’t you dare say that you’re going to die. I’ll be offense and you be defense. You won’t be able to run out of time if you mostly rely on defense. Trust me. There’s so much that Diamond didn’t have enough time to tell you because we had to hurry up and get back down here. It’s a good thing that I have the memory of the talk Diamond and I had before she birthed you, Lola thought. She was confident enough to speak towards Crystal through motivation.

Lola regained Crystal's morale as a fighter. She was too busy trying to survive that it scared her for a split second. Lola then used Inferno Cocoon to try and discuss her strategy. Marscilla’s left eye cocked in confusion.

She then became angry about the scene as she soon bolted her way towards the cocoon and tried to strike the two entities inside of it. Within seconds, a string of flames smacked her across her right jaw with the impact soaring her body over against the wall with a huge dent and pebbles of all sized crumbling beneath her.

“That should keep the bitch out for a bit. Now, let’s see what we can do,” Lola said loud enough for the white-haired Aruba to hear. “Alright Crystal, the symbols can be used up instantly if you rely on offense and defense. But I know how you can develop the duration of your usage for it.”

“How’s that even possible?” Crystal was still training to manipulating these powers in her favor.

It’s no wonder why everyone all over the world are just determined to get their hands on it. But do they even know how to use it if that was the case?

Well, as being a non-member of the Six Core Families: Mizuka, Aruba, Hinura, Poison, Amili or Siya Bloodlines, it would be virtually possible to obtain but the reality is that it’s not very accurate for them to do so. That’s why so many of these organizations and governments have been getting eliminated left and right, Lola explained. “But we’ll worry about all that little later. Just concentrate and we’ll win.”

  “OK.”

Outside the burning cocoon, Marscilla had nursed the back of her head and thought about trying to attack it again. But the results would be the same. She took this time to recuperate herself and prayed that she wouldn’t be forced to revert back to her human state.

(Seven hours ago, Black had informed Marscilla vital information regarding her demon powers.)

“If there’s a possibility that you want to use your powers to try and overwhelm Lola and her minions, then you’ll have to be considerate about the backlash if you overuse it. Don’t take my word for it, it’s your decision,” Black addressed, placing his right, skeletal hand across the woman’s left shoulder. “Lisa knows how to control it very well. It’s not because she’s more important than you when it comes to it, but she’s just been developing her powers a bit more for the last two months."

“It’s understandable. I have to train with this power for a sustain time before I start making complaints about why I couldn’t reach a certain peak like Lisa could. Even though she’s annoying as fuck, she still has more knowledge and experience with the Renugarasaka Demon or, as some people called it, Unholy Demon.

Chapter 54 – Pathos For Marscilla

  (Nine months after Diamond died)

p; During the showdown, Marscilla was having too much on her mind, but didn’t realize that she could’ve done all of that before she started the fight with Crystal and Lola. It was annoying her to the point where Black had to consult her after her disobedience, which was justified because she had a personality where she felt as if revenge was always the best solution.

However, the Grim Reaper saw it differently. One day, they were descending upon Symbolized Museum.

The Symbolized Museum is a abandoned artificial, history building located on the far end of the Southern Coast of Intoxia. It’s build up to sixteen stories high. The building is in the colored forms of light slate gray. There’s approximately over two-hundred and five floors within the building. Throughout history, there have been countless artificial supplies donated to the Museum for future warriors and students that came from all over the world to be viewed. But as of right now, the Museum was shut down, due to the massive war that occurred at Leserado for Diamond’s freedom from the Bloodlust Revelation.

At the top of the building was a stoned angel with large wings expanded as the sword was placed downward in front of it. The building’s wall is also concreted, but surprisingly, in most people’s eyes, the glass windows were unbreakable, due to maximum security development.

Black had waited nine months to have a discussion with Marscilla. He would’ve had the time to talk with Marscilla about her actions nine months earlier, but had a lot more on his plate than he hadn’t hoped.

It was taken to extreme measures that Marscilla never wanted to go along with the plan, but instead, she took matters in her own hands and made a deduction that Black was attending to have Diamond eliminate the Bloodlust Revelation. It humored the Reaper, even after all he’s done for the woman, she felt as if her trust issues had undeveloped since that day.

“Marscilla, I’m expecting an answer about your actions back at Leserado,” Black said with his head glaring down at the brown-haired woman.

Naturally, Marscilla’s hair, in human form, is brown. But in demon mode it’s a mixture of red and pink.

“What was the reason you wanted to spare Diamond? I don’t care if she had a child. You can’t just feel sorry for her because she was losing her life. Why didn’t you kill her when you had the chance?” Marscilla’s voice boomed. They were outside the museum, motionless except their lips.

“Wrong vs wrong will get no one anywhere,” Black answered. Entering the building with his apprentice behind him. He could sense an aura of frustration from the young woman. “Surely I soon noticed that it was your intention to eliminate her, but what I don’t get is when did you think that targeting a defenseless woman was the right thing to do?”

“You told me, head-on, that the Diary Symbols are easily vulnerable for whenever the hostess has recently birthed a child and/or whenever Kuronina’s felt as if she’d be betrayed by the individual being her host,” Marscilla’s eyes were felt heavy due to her answer. “The amount of time that Diamond’s been in charge, she’s stolen so much from not only myself, but you as well. Why? Tell me. Why did you insist on keeping that hog alive?”

Black was stunned as the Erisa member’s voice echoed throughout the ghost building. Unable to argue with the entity’s questions and perspective, he gave her a hint by trailing into the Main Office on the top floor as they trailed over towards the elevator for he could extend the conversation about his decision.

“Marscilla, have you ever noticed that Diamond’s books sold millions of copies—No, billions of copies world-wide. Despite the fact that she’s purposely exposed so much information to the world about these powers. Suddenly, I suspected that there was something wrong. She was sending out a distress S.O.S to her fellow Generals and why she waited for her editor-in-chief to go ahead and publish the books. The publisher had known her since she was twelve years old. It wasn’t until four years after Bloodlust Revelation was formed that she knew one of these days, I was going to declare war against the entire catastrophies. Intoxian Army from all four coasts would be summoned there to save her. Leserado was going into a volcanic battle with numerous ” Black theoretically blurted Diamond’s motives.

Marscilla was confused about something, “How the hell does someone signal out a distress message just by writing stupid books?”

“Well, I wouldn’t go so far into saying that her books are stupid. I’ve invested my time into reading most of them. Some of the books had something to do with Kuronina, some had something to do with Deima C. Aruba and the rest had a lot to with her past experiences and the Diary Symbols and how she was able to contain them,” Black corrected Marscilla’s immature comment.

“Hey, as far as I’m concerned about Diamond and her own hobbies, she never had any. The only hobby that she made a career out of was running an army and ruining so many lives. Deep down inside, you know that just as well as I do, Black. So, don’t sugar-coat how you truly felt. I want raw, relentless honesty,” Marscilla became irritated with Black trying to dodge all the questions.

“If you’re willing to understand the reality, then the one thing you need to understand is that there’s more than what you could understand when it comes to the Diary Symbols. Diamond didn’t just write a book, as I’ve stated. She was signaling an S.O.S.”

“I know you explained it all in depth. Let’s just hurry up so I can get going,” Marscilla frustratingly said to the Grim Reaper. “I personally don’t even know why we’re really here at Symbolized Museum.”

The Grim Reaper had barely lost his patients, but elected to not waste any more time in arguing with his associate. Hence the amount of time he’s been plotting one thing after another for the next fifteen years is what’s highly troubled Marscilla for the most part.

“I already told you, Marscilla. This is the last time I’m going to explain it, you can’t just assume that just because I’m keeping secrets from you, doesn’t mean that I sugar-coat it. Plus, me showing you something and explaining is a lot better than using mere words,” Black hissed.

Unable to speak her mind any further, Marscilla felt humiliated. As she peered over at the elevator doors, they open slowly, descending upon the room Musical Shrine. Inside the Musical Shrine, the floors are painted in cool black. Eight classic rose pillars connected from the ceiling to the ground. Four on each side of them. Entering the Shrine, Marscilla saw sixteen different musicians of the all six bloodlines placed on big pictures. Each of them had different outlets.

Trailing deeper into the Shrine, Marscilla had begun asking Black something far more important than what the Reaper had anticipated, “Despite all the warriors of the Aruba family, was there one in particular that gave you the idea of coming down to the Musical Shrine?”

Black seemed as if he wasn’t familiar with the question, but then the Reaper then realized what his excuse was for heading down there; otherwise, he’d never been interested in bringing Marscilla along with him.

“Apparently, the woman whose music that sparked my interest more than anyone was none other than that one woman in the picture up there,” Black placed his skeletal hand upon the woman’s shoulders and pointed in the direction of the image, which stood over nineteen feet above the ground. “Shivatine O. Aruba.”

Marscilla regained her consciousness and proceeded to prolong the battle for as long a she could. But at what cost though? She’s done everything she said her mind was set out for: Eliminating Crystal. Fortunately, for the Core General, things didn’t go so well like Marscilla had suspected.

With a speck of flames spilling through the Fiery Cocoon created by Lorashisasaha to give temporary protection of the Core General and the Flower of the Intoxian Army enough time to strategize, the Erisa entity’s eyes were widening with excitement. She saw that the ooze of flames had suddenly merged into molting lava; confusing her view. It became clear that the General must’ve went through another physical alternation. The yellow-eyed monster’s heart began to tremor, due to another set of aura. It was growing hot
ter around the Blue-Eyes Fortress as Marscilla collapsed to her knees once again.

The cocoon had finally cracked, bursting out a ball of molting lava straight to the concreted floor of the Fortress. Pieces soaring in various directions, hitting the walls, and melting downward toward them.

The Erisa warrior had evaded them as fast as her body could allow it. She unsheathed her sword and diced millions of them; some had even had direct contact with her body, nearly grilling her insides as she attempted to back shield her body using the Renuasaka Deflection to not only repel the missile pieces but protect herself from having somewhat of her skin taken off.

“Goddamn Mizuka and Aruba, come out and fight like real women,” Marscilla bellowed with her angry eyes peering over at the two shadowed images.

For an odd reasoning, both figures seemed to have appeared a lot differently from when the battle first commenced. The enemy used her forearm to block out some of the immaculate light that was barely blinded her.

The view had zoomed thoroughly into Marscilla’s butter-yellowed eyes, storming into the scene back to where she sees the image of a metaphor Lioness. The color of the feline’s appearance wasn’t as typical as the lion’s fur. It full fur color of Crystal’s appearance was teal blue. The symbol on her forehead had blew a magnificent White Angel Symbol from inside her skin. It had taken her opponent by surprise as she soon released claws that were as in the small forms of a viper’s teeth. Suddenly, out of desperate attempts to win this menacing threat, Crystal’s wings have expanded from within her back, giving her the abilities to blow away the boiling magma away from both herself and Lola, whose now in the form of The Fiery Allure Busimas. Her attire was in the clothing of a mythical mage. Two long, red words with flaming bursting immensely through the blade. The color of the Core General’s hair was tractor red.

Chapter 55 – Her Own Reasons

  ***

Proceeding to continue the massive battle against Marscilla, Crystal and Lola had thought of their own strategy. Hence that Marscilla’s been extremely devious about revenge and killing the daughter of Diamond Aruba. She was too busy on trying to eliminate Lola and the rest of the warriors one by one that she never even noticed or suspected that Crystal’s mindset would change instantaneously.
