Sleepless Beauties: A Rejected Mates Paranormal Romance (The Vampires Vendetta Series Book 1) Page 15

by A. K. Koonce

It’s a twist of consciousness it seems. He starts so slow. But with a grunt of power and dominance, he shoves down his jeans and slams into my wetness so hard my gasp is a soft, empty shriek.

“Fucking ecstasy huh?” He fucks me so hard the brick wall scrapes against my shoulders. His hand never leaves my throat and still he slams into me over and over again, using me and hurting me so much it’s good.

His teeth drag over my neck but it’s like he refuses to give me the release his bite might bring to me.

“It feel good yet? When’s it supposed to feel good for me?” He insults me as he spreads my thighs further apart. His fingers dig in on either side of my wind pipe. His growl is a low violent sound along my shoulder.

My nails sink into the back of his neck as he slides in so deep pain stings ever so slightly among so much tangling pleasure.

“Prey,” I gasp, my thighs tightening around him as his thrusts grow reckless and wild.

“Fuck,” he hisses as I cling to him harder. “Fucking human. Fucking beautiful human. Fucking,” he breaths me in and his hips slow, his cock sliding against my sex with more affection than violence. “Fucking mate,” he whispers against my neck as his hands both settle low on my ass and his rhythm is an intense grinding that I hope never stops. “Why did you have to mark on me, my Pretty Human?” He leans his temple against mine as his mouth parts wide without words.

He holds my gaze as we both gasp against each other.

He builds so much energy between us with just the depth of his gaze. The rocking of his hips push deeper. Deeper. So fucking deep until...

My nails drag down his shoulders hard as my screams cry into the crook of his neck as he holds me and lets me fall apart in his arms with shattering colors falling behind tightly clenched eyes. I shake and tremble and he thrusts in slower and slower before he stiffens in my arms.

As the magic sizzles like tingling numbness along my flesh, I realize we haven’t kissed since the demon first commanded us to. It wasn’t affection or love like Vuitton described.

  It was just fucking.

We’re a heap of shaking breaths and hesitant looks out of the corner of our eyes. The way he looks at me from my hair to my mouth and everything in between, I know.

Despite how hard my heart’s pounding just for him.

I know he’ll always hate me.

  Maybe they all will.

  But I’ll be here anyway.

Fucking up their lives even more.

Until I get exactly what I want.

  Revenge.

  Epilogue

  Rival

Pain like I don’t remember in the last several centuries burns through my shoulders and back. My head lulls but when my eyes open, only gritty dirt across old stone is all I see. I shift but my hands stay tightly in place above my head. The chains clash as I fling my head violently up to see what holds me bound.

“Ruddy cunt,” I hiss out with a mixture of raw anger and slicing pain.

They’re out there rejoicing with a killer in disguise and they don’t even know it. They locked me away and have just written off the threat who I know is watching their every move.

  She’s wrong.

  Zavia’s wrong.

  And more importantly, Kira’s wrong.

Blood trickles down my temple and over my jaw.

I never would have killed Kyra.

No more than I could have killed Kira.

Kyra was my responsibility. She asked for my help and I gave it.

  And Kira…

She—she’s my biggest threat. She could get me killed like I’ve seen so many before me die swift and fast.

All because they thought with their heart instead of their fucking brain.

My lashes fall and I spot the mark just beneath the heavy lines of tattoos. A red splatter of a letter just beneath the old tattoos can be almost seen. Her letter.

It’s such an enchanting mark of magic that it set my heart on fire since the moment it appeared. The moment I laid eyes on her in that shitty little apartment it burned into me like an awakening.

  Now I’m hers.

The blood splatter K imprinted on my chest says it all.

And I’ll reject that secret until the day I die.

Thank you so much for taking a chance on my enemy lovers supernatural series. Book two, Heartless Monsters, continues with all the love and hate and everything in between for Kira and her men.
