As he drove down the dark streets, he rested his hand on the gear shift, only inches from Sabrina’s knee. When he shifted, his fingers brushed against her leg. Shivers ran through her body. She could have moved her leg away, but it felt good. Her body tingled with desire every time he touched her.
When he pulled up in front of her building, she was disappointed that the ride was over already.
“Is this it?” he asked.
Sabrina nodded.
He leaned forward and looked up. “Nice place. You have roommates?”
“Jayson Reynolds and his sister.”
“Oh! The guy who’s dancing the prince?”
“Yeah.”
“Been living with them long?”
“Only a little while. I met them when I came to the audition.”
“Ah. So he’s not a boyfriend or anything?”
Sabrina laughed. “No. Why?”
Aiden placed his hand on her knee. “Because it would be inappropriate to do this if you had a boyfriend.”
“Oh,” she said softly as he rubbed the inside of her knee. She blinked hard, trying to form a complete thought in her head, but all she could do was stare at his fingers, slowly circling the skin on her leg.
“I enjoyed dancing with you today,” Aiden said softly.
“M—” Sabrina’s voice caught in her throat and she cleared it. “Me, too,” she whispered.
He reached across with his free hand and cupped her jaw, turning her head toward him and kissing her softly. When he pulled back, he smiled. “I’ve wanted to do that all day.”
Sabrina blinked several times. “I . . .” She couldn’t think of anything to say. Her brain was on overload from the feeling of his hand caressing her knee. She wanted to scold herself for being distracted by such a small touch, but she couldn’t.
He kissed her again, his hand running down her throat. She moaned softly. It had been ages since she’d last had sex. And with too many partnering sessions in between, she felt like putty in his hands.
His fingers slid down to her collarbone and he caressed the skin. She leaned her head back and closed her eyes. Her nipples tightened, and she squirmed in her seat. She wanted him to go lower, but he stopped and pulled away. Her eyes flew open and she looked at him, brows furrowed.
“Don’t you need to go in?” he asked, his eyebrows raised.
She glanced out the window, disappointment filling her once more. “I suppose.” She reached for the door handle.
He placed his hand back on her knee and she froze. “Unless you’ve changed your mind about having dinner with me,” he added, his voice husky.
She turned back, confused. Did he want her or not? His eyes were filled with passion as he caressed her leg again. She knew he wanted her. Then why did he remind her she needed to go?
“Do you want me to go?” she asked slowly.
He shook his head. “But I don’t want you to be uncomfortable, either.”
Uncomfortable? Not having sex was uncomfortable. She could handle anything else. “I think I’d be okay having dinner with you,” she said, really wanting to skip dinner altogether. “But I’ve been dancing all day.” She looked back at her building. “I should probably shower and change first.”
“I have a shower at my place,” he said with a smile. “And a jetted tub.”
Sabrina hesitated. This probably wasn’t a good idea. What would Martin say? But Aiden was touching her. It felt good. And she desperately wanted to feel good. “Okay.”
He grinned and pulled away from the curb. “What do you like to eat?”
“Anything.”
“My housekeeper is a wonderful cook. We can eat at my place.”
Sabrina nodded, eager to finish dinner and see how far he wanted to go tonight. Her mind wandered to him lying on top of her and burying his cock in her body. She shivered.
Aiden chuckled and reached out his pinky to caress her leg as he shifted. She bit her lip and looked out the window, not sure she was making a good decision.
Chapter Twenty-Two
Sabrina followed Aiden up several flights of stairs to the top floor of a three-story old Brownstone that had been converted into individual apartments. An older man wearing a dark suit met them at the door, a bald spot in his graying hair visible as he formally bowed his head and gestured them inside. The entryway was marble and dark wood. A delicate crystal chandelier hung in the middle of the white plaster ceiling.
“Rowan, this is Sabrina,” Aiden introduced as he took her coat and handed it to the man.
“A pleasure, miss,” Rowan said with another slight bow. He looked at Aiden. “When would you like dinner ready, sir?”
“Soon, please. Enough for both of us.”
Rowan bowed again, then turned and disappeared through a side door.
“You have an assistant?” Sabrina asked.
“Old-school butler, actually,” Aiden answered with a laugh. “He’s great. Been helping me out since I got here. I’d be a mess without him and his wife.”
“Wife?”
“His wife cooks and cleans. He runs the house.”
“Wow.”
“She’s an excellent chef. Makes these amazing chocolate cake things that are to die for.” Aiden licked his lips. “Delicious.”
Sabrina smiled and wondered if she’d be lucky enough to try them tonight.
“Let’s get cleaned up.” He took her hand and led her down a paneled hallway to a huge master bedroom. The king-sized bed sat along one wall, an enormous marble fireplace set into the opposite wall. Long, gray curtains hung along the wall in between, making her assume there were windows hidden behind. “I probably should have asked earlier, but do you have clothes to change into? If you don’t, I can find something.”
Sabrina bit her lip, scolding herself for not thinking of that. “I have an extra pair of sweats in my dance bag.” Which she’d left in the car.
Aiden led her into a massive bathroom. The walls were covered in tiny glass and ceramic tiles, giving the room an art-deco feel. A claw-foot tub stood along the far wall, a huge glass-enclosed shower next to it.
“Wow,” she murmured. “This is beautiful.”
“Thanks.” Aiden leaned against the marble vanity. “It’s not a huge place, but it’ll work for a couple months.”
“Where do you normally live?”
“LA. Have a nice big house out there. But that’s not easy to find out here. Besides, I like living in the city. The park and gardens are just down the street, and it has a neat energy to it.”
Sabrina couldn’t disagree. “It is a beautiful city.”
Aiden grinned and nodded toward the shower. “I’ll leave you to it. If you need any help . . .” He winked. “I’ll be in the bedroom.”
“My bag is in the car . . .”
He nodded. “I’ll have Rowan get it.”
She chewed her lip for a moment. “You can bring it in when he does.”
Aiden’s eyebrows rose almost to his hairline. “You sure?”
Sabrina was both appalled and excited about her own boldness. She simply nodded, not able to speak.
He nodded and left the room, closing the door behind him.
She turned on the shower, then undressed and stood under the spray. The hot water felt wonderful, soothing her tired muscles. She closed her eyes and let the water roll over her body, imagining Aiden’s hands rubbing soap all over her.
The bathroom door opened and closed. She was facing away from the door and didn’t turn, even as she sensed his eyes on her. Her breath caught in her throat. His desire for her was palpable, which turned her on even more. She deliberately reached up and undid her bun, letting her hair cascade down her back in waves, then gave a little moan of pleasure as she smoothed it under the water.
He cleared his throat. “I hav
e your bag.” His voice was faint over the sound of the water.
She turned and stood boldly, watching him trail his gaze across her body. She knew she was attractive. She knew how to stand to make the most of her figure, and the growing bulge in his pants told her she was doing it right.
Her training took over at that moment and she arched a brow. “You wanna help?”
His eyes widened as he dropped her bag to the floor. He grinned and began to undress. Sabrina turned away again, making him think she was ignoring him, but she was keenly aware of what he was doing.
Cool air rushed into the enclosure when he entered. He stood behind her and pressed his hot body against hers. Desire rushed through her, making her a little dizzy, but she was determined to enjoy herself. She knew he was the kind of man who slept with a woman, expecting nothing more than the physical act. No strings, no relationship, no emotions. He was used to getting what he wanted and leaving it there. And that was exactly what she wanted. Pure, unadulterated lust. Satisfy her physical needs and get on with her life.
She turned and ran her hands up his hard, wet chest. He slid his hands down her waist and hips and cupped her ass, pulling her against him, his rock-hard cock twitching between them. He leaned down and captured her lips, his tongue demanding entry into her mouth. She complied and opened to him, both moaning softly. She loved the feel of his body against her own, loved the knowledge that he was hard for her. She longed to feel him inside her and shivered at the thought.
He kissed down her neck and moved his hands up to caress her breasts. It felt good, but she wanted more. She wrapped her hands around his impressive girth and stroked. “Fuck me,” she whispered. His cock twitched in her hand.
“You don’t want more foreplay?” he asked, confusion in his eyes.
She grinned. “Not this time.”
He laughed. “You think there’ll be more than one?”
“Don’t you?”
He pressed her against the cool tile wall and she gasped. “We’ll have to see how this time goes,” he said, giving her a rather charming grin. He picked her up and she wrapped her legs around his waist, opening herself to him. He let her slide down his torso until she felt him at her entrance. When he stopped, she wiggled her hips, wanting him inside her. “Want something?” he asked, his voice husky and eyes dark with passion.
“Uh-huh,” she moaned, then yelped as he thrust upward and pushed her down onto his cock at the same time. She squeezed her eyes shut at the unexpected pain, determined to hide it from him. She’d thought she was ready, but her body must have been slower to react to her desire, since it had been a couple of weeks of enforced chastity.
He leaned back and studied her face. “Did that hurt?” he asked, face impassive.
She couldn’t tell from his face if he wanted it to or not, but his emotions said he liked the idea. She nodded, and the corners of his mouth turned upward slightly.
Maybe it wasn’t such a good idea after all, but she was here. He was inside her. She couldn’t stop him.
He buried his face into her neck as he fucked her hard, pressing her against the wall and thrusting into her. She felt the pleasure in the pain, as she’d learned to do expertly over the last several years, and let him do as he willed. She was certainly used to that. And he was clearly used to doing as he pleased.
“Fuck, you feel amazing,” he groaned, sliding out slowly and thrusting back into her tight channel.
She felt every inch and concentrated on the good feelings. He dug his fingernails into her ass and rammed into her harder and harder. Suddenly, her world exploded with stars, blinding her as she came hard, quivering around him as he throbbed deep inside her.
“Fuck,” he groaned, chest heaving and body shuddering. “Yeah, I think we’ll definitely do that again.”
She winced as he slid out of her, but smoothed her face as he looked at her. She looked away, but he grasped her chin and kissed her hard. “Why don’t you clean up your mess,” he murmured against her lips and pressed down on her shoulders. She swallowed, knowing he wanted her to lick his cock clean. She hated doing it, but many men, especially powerful ones, liked it. Ramon’s brother loved it.
She let him push her to her knees and immediately took him into her mouth. Along with their cum, she tasted blood. Her blood, she assumed, but didn’t say anything. He twisted his fingers into her wet hair, pulling it slightly. She wondered if he did it intentionally. He seemed to want to hurt her just enough to make it seem like an accident, but when she didn’t say anything, he pulled tighter, making her grunt.
She looked up at him, still with his cock in her mouth, and saw the challenge in his eyes. He was testing her, seeing if she would fight back. The boldness that had emerged earlier in the bathroom was gone, replaced with fear of what he’d do next. She didn’t know what to do. Would he hurt her if she tried to fight back? What right did she have to fight back? She’d invited him into the shower with her. Begged him to fuck her. How could she say anything to stop him now? She was his to do with as he pleased.
Would he tell the other dancers she’d seduced him? Would he tell them what a whore she was? What would they think of her then?
She had to keep this from them, especially Jayson and Martin. Martin didn’t approve of that sort of thing. Jayson would think badly of her. He’d know for sure that she was a whore. No. No one could find out what just happened.
She looked away and felt Aiden smile. She’d lost the challenge. He pulled her up by her hair and pushed her against the wall again, facing away from him. He shoved her cheek against the hard tile. The falling water echoed in her ears.
“You like being controlled,” he whispered into her ear. “I knew it the moment I saw you.” He slid his hands down her back and slapped her ass. She winced. “You play all innocent and have the others wrapped around your finger, thinking you’re all pure, but you’re really nothing but a pain slut, aren’t you?”
She tried to shake her head, but he smacked her ass again.
“Tell you what. I won’t tell anyone what a slut you are as long as you do as I say.”
Sabrina closed her eyes, defeated. She was fairly certain he didn’t have a cruel streak, but he did like to be in control, which included some pain on his partner’s end. She could handle that. At least she’d have sex a couple times. Maybe get it out of her system, then go back to her life once he was gone.
What if he got bored with her and went after some other dancer? What if he tried something like this with Audrey? Or Mya? Sabrina couldn’t let that happen. None of the other dancers could handle what she could. They would be destroyed by him. How could she keep them safe?
“If I . . . let you do what you want, will you stay away from the other dancers?”
Aiden frowned. “Limit myself to just one?”
Sabrina shrugged nervously. “You can do whatever you want to me, as long as no one else finds out. And you leave the other girls alone.”
“Whatever I want? What if I want to beat you?”
She let out a ragged breath. “I can handle it. They can’t.”
Aiden looked at her as if he couldn’t quite believe what she was saying. “I don’t get off on beating women.” He tilted his head. “Let’s see how tonight goes, then I’ll decide.” He pushed her under the water. “Finish cleaning up and we’ll eat. Then I’ll see if you’re worth it.”
*****
Aiden dropped her off at the apartment early the next morning after deciding to accept her offer. She was exhausted, achy, and knew she only had about an hour before she had to be back at the studio for a full day of dancing. She leaned against the wall of the elevator, wishing the night had gone differently, but there was no going back now. She’d walked right back into what she’d escaped from only a few weeks ago. The only bright side was that Aiden wasn’t cruel. Creative? Yes. Self-centered? Absolutely. But cruel? No. She could handl
e a few months of being at his beck and call in order to keep him away from the other dancers.
She unlocked the door to the apartment and walked inside, closing the door silently behind her.
“Where the fuck have you been?”
Jayson stormed toward her, eyes blazing and fists clenched.
Sabrina’s heart jumped in her chest and she whimpered before hitting the floor, balling up and wrapping her arms around her head to protect it from angry blows that never fell. Tears dropped to the floor as she felt him staring down at her.
Jayson was silent for a long moment, then dropped to his knees next to her and gathered her in his arms. “I was so worried about you,” he whispered, his voice cracking. “I didn’t mean to scare you.” He rocked her as she sobbed into his chest.
“She’s back?”
Sabrina heard Liz, then felt another pair of arms around her.
Sabrina didn’t understand why they were hugging her. “I’m sorry,” she croaked. She hadn’t even thought about what Jayson and Liz would think when she didn’t come home the previous night. Knowing they’d been worried made her feel even worse than she had before she walked inside.
“Where were you?” Liz asked, her voice pleading. “We thought you’d been found by those people you ran away from.”
Sabrina looked up, her heart twisting with grief for causing her two dear friends such misery. But how could she explain? What she’d done had to remain a secret.
“Why didn’t you call?” Jayson asked.
That was easier to answer. “I don’t have a phone.”
Jayson and Liz looked at each other. “Then we’re going to get you one at lunch,” Jayson said firmly. He cupped her cheek, eyes full of emotion. “I thought something terrible had happened to you,” he whispered, eyes filling with tears. “Please. Never do that again. I honestly don’t care where you go, as long as you’re safe. We just need to know you’re okay.”
Sabrina nodded. “I’m so sorry.”
“Are you okay?” Liz asked. “Were you safe?”
“Yeah. I’m okay.” Please, don’t ask me where I was.
