Steven: A Billionaire Stepbrother Romance Novel Page 3

by Wallace, R. S.

I wonder what the surprise is that Steven has for me...

I took a quick glance in the mirror then pulled my hair back into a loose ponytail. I turned to the side, giving myself a once over. My sweat pants were tight, hugging my small curves and making my ass look amazing. It was a look that I was sure would impress Steven, even though I continually told myself that that shouldn’t be a goal of mine.

“Well, let’s see what this surprise is,” I whispered.

Then I stepped out of my bedroom and turned down the hallway. Steven’s door was right next to mine, so I was there in a second. His door was open just a crack and I gently pushed on it, poking my head inside.

  “Hello?” I called out, quietly.

I glanced to the right, where I saw Steven with his shirt off. He was wearing black sweat pants and was in the middle of looking for a shirt to wear. When he heard me call out his name, he immediately turned to face me.

“Oh, hey,” he said. “Sorry. You caught me before I could finished getting dressed.”

Jesus...don’t be sorry...I thought quietly to myself.

He was even better looking with his shirt off. The muscles of his chest and abs were defined to perfection. He looked like a carved statue, the ideal body of a man. He was masculine, toned and powerful looking. And immediately, a moist heat presented itself in my crotch.

“Wow...” I said, not even thinking about the words that were coming out of my mouth. “I take it you work out?”

Steven blushed a little bit, somehow embarrassed by the fact that his little stepsister was commenting on his body.

“Uh, yea,” he responded. “I try to take care of myself. I don’t want to end up being some fat old man one day.”

I laughed and rolled my eyes.

“I highly doubt that’s going to happen.”

  He shrugged his shoulders.

“Well, you never know,” he said. “Stranger things have happened, right?”

Steven grabbed a tight, blue t-shirt out of his dresser and slipped it on. As he pulled it down over his chest and abs, a feeling of disappointment came over me. I could have looked at that body all night if he had let me.

“So...what did you want to show me?” I asked.

  Steven’s eyes lit up.

“Ah, yes,” he said. “Let me get it.”

He then began digging through the cardboard boxes that were stacked against the wall of his room. He obviously hadn’t had time to unpack everything yet. After a moment of digging, he pulled what appeared to be a picture frame out of one of the boxes.

“Here it is,” he said, as he proudly stepped toward me, holding the frame out in front of him.

I took the frame from him and flipped it over.

  “Um...it’s a framed dollar bill?” I asked.

Steven laughed and then responded, “Good observation. But it’s not just any dollar bill. It’s the very first dollar I ever made with my own business. It’s brought me a lot of good luck over the years. I want you to have it.”

I lifted my eyes from the dollar bill and brought them to Steven’s.

“You want me to have it? But I don’t even own my own business...”

Steven smiled and then stepped a little closer, placing his hands on my shoulders and looking me straight in the eyes. His light touch took my breath away and I felt like I could just fall into his arms right there.

“It’s for good luck,” he said. “And I don’t need luck any more. I’ve figured out how business works. I want to pass on the luck to you. Maybe some day you can start your own business.”

I clutched the framed dollar bill tightly and then brought it to my side, holding it with one hand.

“Thank you, Steven,” I said. “That’s so thoughtful of you. I’ll put it on my wall and maybe it will bring me the same luck that it’s brought you.”

Steven kept his hands on my shoulders for a second longer and then slowly pulled them away. Then he cocked his head to the side, looking at me quizzically.

“There’s something on your mind, isn’t there, Kelsey?” he asked, his blue eyes once again staring right through me.

I blushed immediately. He was right, there were lots of things on my mind. Most of which, I wasn’t quite ready to tell him about, though.

“I guess a part of me is wondering why you decided to live here if you’re so successful in your business,” I said. “I mean it sounds like you’re rich. Why would you want to live in this crummy little house?”

As soon as the words came out of my mouth, I began to regret them. I realized almost immediately that it was an offensive thing to say.

Steven smirked, though, and then shrugged his shoulders.

“It’s like I told you at dinner, Kelsey,” he said. “Not everything in this world is about money. I wanted to stay here so that I could get to know you and your mom. You guys are family now. And if I didn’t commit to spending some time here while looking for a house to buy, then I probably would never have the chance to really get to know you. My business takes up most of my time, you know?”

I felt flattered. Here was a man who had all the money in the world, yet he decided that he wanted to live with my mom and I for a little while just to get to know us.

“That’s really sweet, Steven,” I said, as I unconsciously bit my bottom lip. “I wish that there were more guys out there as sweet as you.”

Steven’s eyes moved quickly up and down my body, giving me an obvious once over.

“And I wish that there were more girls like you in the world,” he said, as he stepped close to me once again.

This time, though, he placed his hands on my hips and gently pulled me close to him. Instantly, I began to let myself go. There in that moment, we were alone. My parents were on the other side of the house. Anything could happen.

I looked up at him and then stood on my tiptoes, leaning my body against his. The heat radiated off of his chest and I breathed in, smelling the cologne that was on his skin.

Steven leaned closer, bringing his lips so that they were hovering just inches away from mine. I could feel his breath and I closed my eyes, awaiting that beautiful moment when our lips would touch.

We were almost there, when suddenly, Steven pulled away.

“We can’t,” he said. “We can’t do this. I’m sorry, Kelsey. This isn’t right and we both know it.”

Steven took a step back and then sat on his bed. A feeling of embarrassment and disappointment came over me immediately.

“Who cares, Steven?” I asked. “Nobody has to know. You know as well as I do that there’s an attraction between us. How long are we going to avoid it?”

Steven looked up at me with the first serious expression that I had ever seen on his face.

“You’re my sister,” he said. “Do you have any idea what that means?”

I placed my hands on my hips, cocking my head to the side.

“No, Steven,” I said. “I’m not your sister. I’m your stepsister. There’s a big difference.”

Steven shook his head and then stood up, stepping toward me once again. His eyes dilated and a look of lust flashed across his face. I could tell that the two sides of his brain were battling, one side telling him that it was wrong to fool around with his stepsister and the other side encouraging him to follow his carnal instincts.

“You have no idea how badly I want to,” he said. “But even though you’re just my stepsister, I’m pretty sure that it wouldn’t go over well if anybody found out. I’m sorry, Kelsey.”

Then he stepped past me and held open his bedroom door.

“I’ll see you tomorrow,” he said. “Let’s pretend that this didn’t happen.”

  Dammit...

I shook my head and then marched out into the hallway, immediately making my way back to my bedroom. I closed my door behind me and crawled into bed, embarrassed and feeling defeated. I wasn’t really mad at Steven, though. In fact, I understood exactly where he was coming from. But that didn’t change the fa
ct that I wanted him.

“Why do things work out like this?” I asked myself, as I laid on my back, staring at the ceiling of my bedroom.

I could hear Steven shuffling around in the room next door. I immediately began to imagine what could have happened had he not changed his mind at the very last second. I thought about what his kiss would have felt like. Then I began to imagine where it could have gone from there.

Oh, Steven...I thought. Why do you have to be so perfect?

I placed my hand on my stomach and began sliding my fingers downward on my body, dragging them along the soft material of my shirt. The tingling sensation was still coursing through me, caused by Steven’s touch. I started to get so turned on just thinking about where things could have led had he gone through with the kiss.

My hands slid downward, across my belly. It was as though they were controlling themselves. When they got to the waist strap of my sweat pants, I slipped my thumbs underneath and began pulling the pants off of my body. I shimmied them down to my knees and then gently placed my fingers over my crotch. My panties were still on and I immediately noticed a wet spot in the front of them.

Wow...Steven really did turn me on...

I began running my fingers in circles over the wet spot, creating waves of pleasure that coursed through me. I started to imagine that Steven and I had completed our kiss. I then thought about what it would have felt like to have him bring his hands down my side, sliding my sweat pants and panties to the ground, rendering the lower half of my body completely naked.

“I want you so bad, Steven,” I whispered, as I started to increase the pressure of my fingers against my clit.

I closed my eyes and continued to imagine. I envisioned Steven then grabbing me with his powerful arms and carrying me to his bed, laying me on my back.

“Yes, Steven,” I said, as quietly as possible. “Take me.”

The waves of sensation continued to increase in my body, as I firmly massaged my pussy. After a few seconds, I grabbed the waist strap of my panties with my free hand and pulled them down to my knees. Then I brought my fingers back to my flower, immediately slipping one of them inside. After that, I went directly back to my daydreaming.

I continued right where I had left off. I imagined myself laying on my back in Steven’s bed, watching as he removed his shirt and pants, his thick cock standing up proudly from a trimmed, black bush of pubic hair.

“I’m yours, Steven,” I imagined saying. “I’m all yours.”

In my mind, Steven then crawled onto the bed, draping my knees over his shoulders. Then he brought his tip to my opening.

  “Yes...” I whispered.

I started fingering myself quickly to the thought of Steven’s cock going inside of me. I imagined that it was his manhood and not my finger.

  “Oh, God yes...”

My imagination soared and in it, Steven bucked his hips forward firmly, plunging his cock deep into my pussy. The waves of ecstasy pumped through me and I moaned softly, as I felt myself beginning to rise toward orgasm.

“Yes...” I whispered. “Just like that, Steven. Just like that.”

I slipped another finger inside of my pussy and increased the speed that I was pleasuring myself, all the while imagining that it was Steven that was doing the pleasuring. After a few seconds, I felt a final wave of pleasure as I climaxed.

  “Yes, Steven, yes...” I groaned.

I felt my pussy clamp around my fingers and immediately after, a gush of my natural lubrication flowed out, soaking my hand. I moaned softly, as the pleasure coursed through me, soaking into every cell in my body and making my senses come alive.

After a moment, I took a deep breath and opened my eyes, coming back to reality. I sat up on my bed, my sweat pants and panties around my knees. My hand was soaking wet. I couldn’t remember the last time that I had gotten off like that.

“Wow...” I said, as I stood up from the bed and walked to my bathroom to clean myself up. “Too bad it was all in my imagination. I would have loved for that to have been real...”

  Chapter 8

The next few weeks after Steven and I’s “almost kiss” were pretty uneventful. We both worked a lot, so I didn’t see him all that often. But when I did, there was almost always sexual tension in the air. I think even our parents noticed it. I found my mom keeping an eye on us whenever Steven and I were hanging out. It was like she could sense the attraction.

But Steven and I were good. We didn’t talk about the kiss we nearly shared and nothing like that had happened since. Things were pretty much normal and I thought for sure that I was over him. I masturbated that one time with him in mind, but that was it. After that, I made a point to put Steven out of my mind for anything beyond platonic reasons.

I thought things were going to be fine. I thought I had gotten over my crush. But when Steven came home one day with a huge smile on his face and a woman by his side, I knew that I was wrong.

“Kelsey, this is my new girlfriend, Allison,” Steven said, as he led the beautiful brunette woman into our home.

I was sitting on the sofa, relaxing after a day at work. As soon as he said the word “girlfriend” I felt my stomach tie up into a knot. I lifted my gaze, bringing it up to Steven and Allison.

“Hi, Kelsey,” Allison said, as she strutted toward me, wearing her high heels and fancy blue dress, which clung tightly to her athletic body. “Steven has told me so much about you. It sounds like you two make pretty good siblings.”

I did my best to fake a smile and then stood up from the couch, quickly shaking Allison’s hand.

“Well, we’re stepsiblings,” I responded quickly. “We aren’t brother and sister.”

Allison smirked and then turned back to face Steven.

“Well, Steven, are you ready to go to dinner then?” she asked.

Steven looked past Allison, locking his eyes with mine. I could tell that he was trying to see how I felt about the situation. It was probably clear by my attitude and by the expression on my face that I was jealous. I didn’t want to be, though. I had no right to feel jealous. But still. I did and I couldn’t help it. I wanted to slap Allison right across the face, even though I had just met her and she really hadn’t done anything wrong. I wanted Steven. He was mine, or at least that’s how the instinctual part of my brain seemed to feel about it.

After a few seconds of silence, Steven finally responded to Allison.

“Yeah, I’m ready,” he said. “Let’s go grab a bite to eat. We can all get acquainted a little later.”

Then he reached forward, grabbing Allison’s hand and leading her back out of the house.

“Good to meet you, Kelsey,” Allison called out, as she stepped out of the front door.

I didn’t respond. I just scowled and shook my head, making my way upstairs to my bedroom.

  “What a bitch,” I whispered.

I was still annoyed at her comment about Steven and I being siblings. We weren’t siblings. We were of no relation whatsoever, except by law.

Once in my room, I stripped out of my work clothes and slipped on my pajamas. It wasn’t even dinnertime yet, but I didn’t want to go anywhere. I was feeling depressed and all that I wanted to do was relax in my room, isolated and alone.

I’m not sure how long I laid in my bed before I fell asleep, but some time later I woke up to the sound of a car door slamming shut in the driveway. A moment later, I heard the front door of the house open and close.

“Is it morning?” I asked myself, as I sat up in my bed.

I glanced toward the window, where I noticed that it had become dark outside. I had no idea what time it was, though. It was one of those naps where you wake up and you’re not even sure what day it is.

After stretching my arms above my head and letting out a satisfying yawn, I stood up, looking over at the clock on the wall.

  It’s 11pm. Damn...I’ve been asleep for hours.

As I stood in my room, I reached my hands up and began to wipe the s
leep from my eyes. A moment later, I heard the sound of footsteps coming up the stairs. Right then, I remembered that Steven had been on that date with Allison and it was probably him coming home.

I rolled my eyes and then took a seat in the chair in front of my desk, listening as Steven walked past my door and into his own bedroom. I still felt so jealous about the situation. It left a knot of anxiety in my stomach that I hadn’t ever felt before in my life.

Maybe I should just be honest with Steven. Maybe it would be better if he knew exactly how I felt. I can’t keep holding all of this back. It’s going to kill me.

Nothing was going to change or get better as long as I kept my feelings inside. Steven had an idea about my attraction toward him, but I doubted that he understood the full extent of it. And I knew that I had to tell him.

“It’s as good of a time as any,” I said, as I stood up from my desk and marched toward my bedroom door, pulling it open and stepping out into the hallway.

I wasn’t typically quite so bold, but I knew that I had to tell him while I was feeling invincible, otherwise it would never happen. I turned down the hallway and noticed that Steven’s bedroom door was open just a crack and light was pouring out of it and into the dark hallway.

A burst of butterflies flew into my stomach as I neared the door. I was about to put all of my feelings on the line and I had no idea what the repercussions might be. Still, though, I knew that I had to do it.

I pushed on the door and popped my head into his room.

  “Steven?” I called out.

  There was no response.

I stepped inside and looked around, noticing the clothes that he had been wearing earlier were laying on the bed. They looked as though they had been carelessly tossed there.

“Steven...” I called out, once more.

There was still no response, though.

I took a few more steps into his room. To my right, I heard the sound of running water coming from his bathroom. When I turned my head to look, I noticed that the bathroom door was wide open and Steven was in the shower, the hot water running over his naked body.
