My boots thundered across the concrete and my long legs ate up the distance. I was up and over the fence in a single movement and I hit the ground running on the other side. Roughly thirty paces ahead of me, I caught sight of a figure turning a corner and continued my pursuit.
Years of staying on top of my fitness always paid off but I still didn’t expect to catch up as quickly as I did. When my prey made it out to one of the many side streets and closed in on one of the few, working lights, I saw why. It was a she, a tall one, with long, blonde hair flying wild behind her and swishing across the top of the most glorious fucking ass I’ve ever seen in my life, encased in a short, beige skirt that stopped at mid-thigh.
My dick twitched in my jeans as she jiggled from side to side. I slowed my pace down gradually, both to observe and to allow me to stick to the shadows. Because just like I thought she would, the second she made it underneath the streetlight she stopped and turned around, searching desperately for any sign she was being pursued while her chest heaved.
“Foolish girl,” I muttered, not even breathing hard as I watched her breasts rise and fall. She couldn’t have chosen a more terrible place to make what would be her last stand if I was anyone else.
I was still surrounded by pitch black darkness while that bright bulb had burned out her night vision the second she ran toward it. I was invisible to her and she only made it more obvious by the way her head swiveled around madly, hair flying every which way. Yet somehow, she paused and turned exactly in my direction, as if she could feel me standing there, and my heart stopped.
Underneath that halo of light but with rundown buildings and peeling paint acting as her backdrop, she looked like an angel surrounded by hell on all sides. I moved closer as I soaked her in, staying just at the shadow’s edge. Bright blue eyes. A slightly upturned nose. Pink lips open as she sucked in breath after greedy breath. Goosebumps broke out against my skin and my heart thundered in my chest in a way that had nothing to do with that brief sprint and everything to do with the beauty standing before me.
Whatever plans I had when I gave chase shattered against the wall of feelings that swelled in me from out of nowhere. She was mine. Point blank fucking period. No harm would ever come to this girl while I lived and no man but me would ever touch her. It was decided.
