An Indecent Proposition Page 32

She stopped as she looked at them. Keegan smiled as Erik nodded. “You have two guys who aren’t going to let anyone tear you down. Ever.”

Her smile brightened the dark room. “And you are exactly what I want. What I need.”

“And you’re what we need,” Keegan added when Jules tried to speak. “You’re what we were missing between us.”

“The crap coming between us was my fault. We’d much rather have you there.” Erik reached for her hand. “And I’m pretty sure I solved my other problem this morning.”

  She frowned. “I don’t—”

“Keegan and I had a talk with the guy who sabotaged our lab this morning.”

Her eyes widened. “Seriously? What happened?”

“I told him to turn himself in or I would. Actually, I said a little more than that and I may have used a few more four-letter words, but when I left his office, I felt like some of that weight on my shoulders was gone.”

“Is he going to confess?” Jules sounded almost breathless and it made Erik’s cock twitch.

“We don’t know,” Keegan answered when Erik didn’t, shrugging.

“And we don’t care,” Erik added. “We gave him a week to make his decision and if he doesn’t come clean, I give the file to the police and let them handle it.”

  “Oh, Erik.”

Jules practically beamed and Erik knew he’d made the right decision. For Keegan and TinMan. For himself. And for the three of them.

“I realized that holding on to that anger was toxic. And I didn’t want to poison you or Keegan anymore. So…”

He trailed off, his gaze anchored to her smile.

“So…” Jules sat up on her knees and wrapped her arms around Erik’s neck. “Would this be a good time to tell you I love you? Both of you?” She turned to include Keegan in her smile. “And I’m hoping like hell that you and Keegan let me stay here?”

Keegan plastered himself to her back, hands on her hips as Jules pressed herself against Erik.

“We wouldn’t want you to be anywhere else.,” Keegan spoke with his lips pressed against the curve of her neck, making her shiver. “Always here. Always between us.”

Erik bent to take her lips for a soul-searing kiss, leaving her breathless and panting. “So that’s our proposition. Do you accept?”

  Jules smiled. “Absolutely.”
