She didn’t even blink. “Now? In the bathroom?”
“Nah.” I shook my head and looked at the bartender, who was pretending to not stare at us. “Shamus, another gin.”
“Sure, Marco.”
He grabbed a bottle from the top shelf and poured a generous amount into a glass before handing it to me. I grabbed the glass and down the smooth liquid in one deep gulp.
“I would love a vodka and sprite.” The blonde gave me a wicked smile. “It would get me ready to take you in my mouth.”
“The bartender’s right there.” I shrugged. I never wasted my money on gold diggers and sluts. I didn’t have to. They usually did what I wanted for free.
“Oh.” She looked taken aback. “I guess I don’t need a drink. What do you want me to do now, big boy?”
“I already told you.” I was starting to get bored. I stared at my watch. It was already eleven p.m. “Look I have to leave in a little bit. I’ve got an early flight.”
“Oh?” She pouted as she leaned in and kissed the side of my neck.
“I’m going up to SF to visit my sister tomorrow.” I grimaced. “I’m going to meet her new boyfriend, so that should be fun.”
I couldn’t believe that Jane had gone and gotten herself a boyfriend. I’d have to warn him that my fists would be in his face if he even thought about hurting her.
“Need some company?” She bit down on her lower lip. “I’ve always wanted to go to SF.”
“Nah, I’m good.”
I looked to my right to see a hot chick with long black hair staring at me, sucking on her finger. I smiled at her and she winked at me. When I waved for her to come over, she jumped up and almost ran to me. I could tell her panties were wet just from the way she was walking. The brunette stopped next to me and looked at the blonde and then they both looked at me with wicked smiles.
This was what I liked about the women I met in the bar. They knew what I wanted before I even had to ask. I checked the time again and grinned. I still had plenty of time to have some fun with these two and then head home to shower and pack.
I was excited to see my sister, but I knew that there was no way I’d be able to do my thing with her around. Better for me to double up on pleasure tonight so that I’d be ready for my upcoming drought.
Chapter 20
Millie
“Doesn’t it just feel like we’re the only two women in the world without boyfriends?”
Olivia and I clinked martini glasses together in commiseration as we sat in the back of the Mexican restaurant staring at the happy couples around us.
“Three. There’s Birdy, as well.” I took a huge gulp of my mango martini and sat back. “But yes, it is starting to feel as if we’re part of the Single Forever Club.”
“I cannot believe that Jane and Tate are now dating.” Olivia reached for a nacho. “I mean, it’s cool and all, but damn. That happened so quickly.”
“He’s a hottie, though.” I laughed. “I’d bang him.”
“Yeah, I’d bang him and Jagger as well.”
Olivia laughed and I joined in. Olivia and I had only been friends for about six months now, but it felt like I’d known her my whole life. We both started working together at a company called the 800 Club along with our other new coworkers and friends, Birdy, Jane, and Magnolia.
Since we’d been working together, Magnolia had started dating her neighbor, who had turned out to be a man from her past. Now they were engaged, and Jane was dating our boss, Tate, which just left me, Olivia, and Birdy to live the single life.
“We can’t let Magnolia and Jane hear us saying that, though. They’d kill us.”
“Yes, yes, they would.” Olivia smiled at me, her brown eyes sparkling with amusement. Her black hair hung in curls to her shoulders and her mocha brown skin seemed to glow.
“Okay, are you wearing a new blush or something?” I asked her. “Because you are positively glowing.” I narrowed my eyes at her. “Wait, don’t tell me you have a new boyfriend as well?” I glared at her. “Is that why you’re looking so happy?”
“I’m wearing bronzer, Millie.” She rolled her eyes at me. “Remember I told you I went to the Mac store yesterday?” She pulled a curl through her fingers and made a face. “Be honest, do you prefer my hair curly or straight? I’ve decided to wear my hair naturally now because the flatiron has been singeing my ends and giving me split ends, but it’s such a different look.”
“Girl, you know my answer.” I laughed as I threw my head back. My own long red curls cascading down my back. “We have to love our curls. Straight hair is too much work and too much damage.”
“You have beautiful hair, though.” Olivia smiled. “I’d love to have hair as long as yours.”
“And I’d love to have those perfect Goldilocks curls that you have instead of my frizzy mess.” I shook my head. “But I think we both have the looks that suit our faces. I mean, you have the most perfect bone structure.” I took in her appearance. “You’re so beautiful, it’s not even fair.”
“Where have you been all of my life, Millie?” Olivia laughed. “You’re absolutely perfect for my ego.”
“It’s too bad we weren’t lesbians, or we’d be the perfect partners.”
“I know.” She giggled. “It’s a pity we love the D too much.”
“You got to say it like you mean it.” I took another sip of my martini. “We don’t like the D, we love the dick.”
“Sorry, can I help you ladies?” An older man stopped next to the table, an amused grin on his face as he looked at us both. He’d obviously heard what I’d just said because he was licking his lips like the cat that was about to get the cream.
“Nope.” Olivia said bluntly. “Keep on moving.”
“Get out of here, buddy,” I added, and we both laughed as the man turned away with a disappointed look. “Do you want to go dancing this weekend? We might not be able to get Jane and Magnolia to come with us, but I’m pretty sure we can convince Birdy.”
“Do you think so?” Olivia looked doubtful. “Birdy doesn’t seem to like going out much.”
“Trust me, I can talk her into it,” I assured her. “We can be like Charlie’s Angel’s. Only the crimes we’re going to solve are the cases of our broken hearts.”
“That was so corny.”
“Okay, empty hearts, then?”
“Yeah, that’s a bit better.” Olivia took another nacho into her mouth. “Oh, shoot, isn’t Jane’s brother Marco coming to town tomorrow? Didn’t we say we’d hang out with them?”
“Yeah, but we can ditch them after a couple of hours. Didn’t Jane say her brother was a huge player?”
“I can see why. He was gorgeous in that photo she showed us.” Olivia let out a low whistle. “Damn, he was muy caliente.”
“Yeah, he was.” I grinned. “It’s too bad he’s Jane’s brother.”
“Not to worry, there are a lot more and a lot hotter fishes in the sea.” Olivia nodded and leaned towards me conspiratorially. “We should dress really sexy, drive the men crazy.”
“Girl, we already drive the men crazy. That’s how we know we still got it.” I giggled. “Okay, I have to tell you something, but you have to promise not to tell anyone else. It’s a huge secret.”
“Oh, shit, what is it?” Her eyes narrowed in response. “You killed a man?”
“What? No, I didn’t kill a man.
“You have a secret husband.”
“No.”
“You have a love child.”
“Olivia?”
“You’re secretly a princess and going to move back home and take me with you and I’m going to be your lady in waiting.”
“Olivia, you watch too much TV.”
“You’re a billionaire and your rich daddy wants to marry you off to a sheikh who already has four wives.”
“If my daddy was so rich, why would he need to marry me off?”
“I don’t know? To get even more money?”
“I guess rich people
never do have enough money.”
“So your daddy is rich?”
“Girl, my dad made fifty grand last year. I wouldn’t say he’s rich.” I laughed. “He still has ten years left to pay off his mortgage.”
“Oh. Yeah, my parents are still paying theirs off as well.”
“Also, since when do we say daddy?”
“Since Jane met Tate’s uppity parents.” Olivia made a face and we both laughed. “So tell me, what’s this huge secret?”
“You’re going to laugh.”
“I’m not going to laugh.” She shook her head.
“Promise.”
“I promise.”
“I got an ‘M’ shaved down there when I went for a wax yesterday.”
“Wait, what?” Olivia raised an eyebrow at me. “M as in your initial?”
“Yes, M as in Millie.” I grinned. “I figured if a guy goes down on me in the next week or so, while the M is still visible, I can say, ‘Welcome to Millie’s pussy.’”
“Oh, my word,” Olivia’s lips twitched and then she started laughing hysterically. “Are you joking me right now?”
“No, I’m not.” I mock glared at her. “Are you making fun of me? You promised not to laugh.”
“I’m sorry, but this is just precious. You had your pubic hair shaved into an M!”
“I wanted something new.” I couldn’t stop myself from laughing as well. “I know it’s crazy and stupid, but it just seemed fun.”
“Well, you know what that means, right?”
“No, what?”
“It means that Operation Get Millie Laid Within a Week is on.” Olivia nodded. “Some awesome guy has got to witness that M firsthand.”
“Who am I going to meet in a week?” I shook my head and then sighed. “Plus I know I make out in clubs with randos, but I’ve never actually had a one night stand or anything.”
“You haven’t?” Olivia looked shocked. “You’re always going on about sex.”
“Don’t get me wrong, I love sex.” I grinned. “And I love men. I’ve just never had casual sex.”
“Really?” Olivia’s eyes narrowed.
“I mean, I’ve made out with guys.” I went on. “I’ve even given a couple of blowjobs to some very questionable men and been licked and eaten out by some even more questionable ones, but I’ve never actually gone all the way with someone I’ve just met.”
“You’re not a virgin, are you?”
“No, no, of course not.” I shook my head. “I had sex with my first boyfriend when we were seventeen. It wasn’t great, but it got me on the horse.”
“I was about to say.” Olivia laughed. “If you and Jane were both virgins, I’d wonder what was in the water.”
“Do you think Birdy is a virgin?”
“I wouldn’t be shocked.” Olivia shrugged. “She’s either a virgin or a super freak. You know how those quiet ones are.”
“True, true.” I nodded. “I bet she’s super freaky. Look how she dances in the club after a couple of drinks.”
“Oh, yeah.” Olivia grinned. “She was grinding up on that one dude last time we were at Booty. I’m pretty sure his balls had never been bluer.”
“Haha.” I reached for my glass and finished the rest of my martini. “Fine, we can officially get Operation Get Millie Laid off the ground, but he has to be cute.” I paused and grinned. “And packing.”
“Obviously. No one wants a two-bit Sam.”
“Or a three-bit Sam.”
Olivia leaned in. “What’s the biggest guy you’ve been with?”
“I’ll tell you if you tell me.”
“Okay.” She nodded and finished her martini. “Shall we get another round?” She signaled the waiter to order another round of drinks before I’d even answered, then looked back at me, waiting for an answer.
“So, back when I was in college, I dated this hunky guy. His name was Jakub. His family was originally from Poland, and they’d moved to the States when he was thirteen. He spoke English well, but he still had this really hot Eastern European accent.”
“Ooh, he sounds hot.”
“He was so hot. He had the blondest hair and the bluest eyes, and this guy was cut.” I shivered remembering how hot he’d been. “He was in my English 101 class and I used to tutor him on the side. That’s how we first got to know each other. Well, after about three tutoring lessons he asked me out.”
“Wow, fast.”
“I made sure to wear the tightest tops I could around him.” I laughed. “We went on about four or five dates before I decided I was ready to go all the way with him.”
“You guys hadn’t done anything else?”
“Well, he’d touched me and stuff, but not much. Anyway, we were in his dorm room. His roommate had gone home for the weekend and we were making out on his bed. He started fingering me and I was getting all excited and then he pulled off his boxers.” I paused for dramatic effect.
“Oh gosh, continue, I can feel that this is going to be a good one.”
“He pulls out his cock and I swear to God, it was like this.” I clenched my fingers into a fist and held my hand up.
“No way.” Olivia’s eyes widened. “Are you joking?”
“Girl, I didn’t even know they could be that big.” I shuddered. “He put the tip next to me and I looked down and I knew there was no way in hell that thing was getting in.”
“Did it?”
“No.” I laughed. “He tried, and after about ten seconds, I jumped off of the bed, grabbed my clothes and left. His cock would have ripped me apart, and I’m not getting ripped up for anything less than a baby.”
“Oh, Millie.” Olivia laughed. “That’s hilarious. Poor Jakub.”
“Yup. Things were a little awkward after that. But he soon moved on.” I shrugged. “What about you?”
“So, back when I was in high school,” Olivia grinned, “my brother had this friend.”
“Go on.”
“And he used to sleep over all the time.”
“Yeah.”
“And one day I walked in on him in the shower.”
“No way, you got in the shower and fucked him?”
“No,” Olivia rolled her eyes. “Of course not, but I did see his dingdong and he was packing. He must have been a good eight inches and thick.”
“No way!” I nodded impressed. “But you didn’t sleep with him?”
“No.” She wrinkled her nose. “He was the most annoying and cocky guy I ever met in my life. You couldn’t have paid me to sleep with him.”
“Oh, haha. I can’t stand cocky guys.”
“Yeah. The guys I’ve actually been with have been average.” She shrugged. “Nothing crazy. No porno stars in the making.”
“Yeah.” I grinned. “I’d settle for a non porno star in the making right now.”
“We sound like two teenage guys.” Olivia played with her curls. “I do wonder if I’ll ever find love, though. I just feel like everyone around me is finding the one, and all I’m finding are men that want to hook up.”
“Girl, it’s not just you. It’s the same for me. I feel like a loser.” I grabbed my glass of water. “My parents are always like, when are you getting married, Millie, what’s going on? Why can’t you be like your sister Nicole?”
“Oh, why? Is Nicole really smart?”
“No, she’s married to her high school sweetheart and has three kids already.” I shrugged. “And she’s my younger sister.”
“Oh, shit, how old is she?”
“She’s twenty-two.”
“And you’re twenty-six, right?”
“Yup.” I rolled my eyes. “I’m an old maid now.”
“Then I’m an old maid along with you.”
“You’re only a year older than me, right?”
“Yup, I’m inching closer and closer to thirty.” Olivia let out a deep sigh. “My mom thinks I should start looking into freezing my eggs.”
“Oh God, no.” I shook my head. “Parents.”
/> “Yeah,” Olivia gave me a wry smile. “Do you think we’ll find the one?”
“Oh, yeah.” I nodded enthusiastically. “Any man would be happy to be with either one of us.”
“I’m so glad to have met you, Millie.” Olivia reached forward and grabbed my hand. “I’m so glad we’re friends. When I first moved to San Francisco, I thought I’d never meet anyone cool and down to earth.”
“I know exactly what you mean. It’s so different from Iowa.”
“Yeah, it’s different from Florida as well.” Olivia smiled. “In all the best ways, though. Oh, look—our drinks have arrived.”
“Let us toast to our friendship.” I took my glass and held it up to her.
“And to us finding new men.”
“And to getting laid.”
“By someone who knows what he’s doing.”
“Who has a huge ding-a-long.” I laughed.
“But not as big as your Polish guy’s ding-a-long.” Olivia winked at me.
“Yeah, not as big as Jakub’s.” I paused. “But he can have a six-pack like Jakub.” I licked my lips. “Man, he had such a perfect body.”
“Cheers!”
Olivia and I clinked glasses and sipped from our martini glasses. I sat back and looked around the restaurant. There weren’t many people here yet, but it was still early. Olivia and I had come straight from work to grab an early dinner and drinks. The old guy who had approached us earlier was staring at us, and I turned away as he winked at me.
He was definitely not on my wish list.
“Hey, girls,” said a voice a few seconds later.
I groaned when I saw it was the old man again. “What do you want?” I asked him, annoyed.
“Well, I wouldn’t mind a threesome.” He licked his lips. “I’ve never been with a redhead or a black chick before.”
“Excuse me?” My jaw dropped. “Are you friggin’ kidding me?” I stared at Olivia who just rolled her eyes.
“You heard me. I’ve got a huge ding dong or dick or whatever you want to call it, and I use Viagra, so I can go a lot longer than the young guys you’re most probably used to. So, what do you think, girls?”
“I think we’re going to pass.” Olivia said in a no-nonsense voice. “You’ll have to use the Viagra on someone else.”
