Writing a book is never easy, writing a book during a global pandemic has been especially tough, and without online book communities, I would have felt a little lost, so I want to thank everyone at The Book Club (TBC) and The Fiction Café Book Club for helping me realise that although we’ve been locked down, we haven’t been alone.
To my family – thanks for understanding what it is I’m trying to do, and being in my corner as I do it. This road wouldn’t be one I would travel without you.
And finally, to my son, Ben. Without you, there is no motivation, no determination, and no inspiration. And I will forever try to repay you for this.
