“Okay…”
Sabrina recalled the night of the attack at Moselle’s, the moment when she first felt truly powerful. She remembered how she’d controlled the falling rain and the standing water on the ground. She tried to return to that sensation. All I need to do is concentrate, flex my unused muscles first…
The water near Zella churned and the mermaid brightened up. “Was that you? Yes, you, not the sea.”
Sabrina could see the water around Zella move, and the more she concentrated on it, the more she could feel it in her grasp. It felt heavy, immeasurably heavy at first, but soon that changed. In a matter of seconds, the sense of the water lightened and became no heavier than a bottle’s worth.
“Show me your power,” Zella said.
Sabrina wasn’t sure which she wanted more—to lift the water up or push Zella under. I’ll show you power…
Sabrina lifted her arms and the water bulged to the surface where Zella swam. Then suddenly it separated from the ocean, enough to fill several tubs worth, with the mermaid still inside it.
“You’ve caught me.” Zella’s voice wavered with worry. “Careful.”
“Could my father lift you like this?”
“He could hold the water and whatever was inside it, yes.”
Sabrina held the water a good ten feet up, then moved it over to the right ten feet before she placed it back down and allowed it to join with the sea.
“Good!” Zella cheered. “Very good!”
Sabrina was proud of herself, but this was not something new. She knew she could move water, but she still did not understand how she was going to travel with it.
“You look confused, my queen.”
Sabrina was confused. She mulled it over; it made little sense, but faith had taken over where fact once created doubt. “Queen. I’m the ruler of the Water Kingdom. Water serves me. The ocean serves me. All I must do is—”
“Become one with its oneness.”
Sabrina’s heart began to race with excitement. She wanted this, whatever this was going to end up as. “I can do this.”
“Yes, you can, my queen.”
Sabrina lowered herself toward the water.
“If anything happens to me, Zella, if anything goes wrong, know this: I will have Skipper burn you and all the other mermaids out there watching me right now. Burn you all to ash.”
Zella nodded. “Are you ready?”
“Yes.”
“Empty your mind, relax your limbs. Give yourself to the sea. Think of its vastness. Think of how it moves. Now, think about where you want to go, and allow the water that is here and there to connect.”
“And what? I’ll be transported there? Like a portal?”
“Portal?” Zella shook her head. “What is that?”
“Forget it.”
“I just want you to imagine yourself at the opposite side of the island.”
Sabrina turned and faced north. She thought of the docks on the other side of the island, how they were no doubt busy with fisherman. She closed her eyes and imagined the sea, the ocean. She focused on the water that surrounded the island—the reefs, the beaches, the docks.
All of it is the same. All one part. One piece, she repeated in her head.
After a full body tug and a whoosh in her ears, she popped her head out of the water and looked around.
Holy shit. She was right where she wanted to be, on the other side of the island.
“My queen?” A male fairy, who fished off the closest dock called out to her. “Are you okay?”
“Yes, just out for a swim.”
“Be wary of sharks, my queen.”
Sabrina smiled. It worked. It fucking worked. I did it. “Yeah. Oh, I am. Trust me, I am.”
Escape Plan
Sabrina returned to her room with a new respect for each water spirit she passed. They could travel around the palace at a whim—she finally understood better why they moved around in those little ducts on the floor.
“She’s not here.” One of the guards stepped forward.
“Who is not here?”
“The queen.”
Sabrina smirked. “Crystal, it’s me.”
Although it was impossible to tell what they were thinking by their faces when in their natural form, Sabrina spotted the subtle change in his stance. She knew he was embarrassed by the way his cresting shoulders slumped.
“My queen?”
“Yep, it’s me.” She bowed. “Sabrina London. One and only.”
“I am truly sorry.”
Sabrina smiled. “Don’t be. We want her to fool the Tainted, don’t we? If she can fool you, she can fool them.”
“I guess you’re right.”
“So, where is my lookalike?”
“In the throne room, addressing her…your advisors.”
Sabrina nodded. “Is Dunyasha with her?”
“The elder vampire is in attendance.”
“Good.”
Sabrina nodded to Crystal before she entered the room. Wait, there’s something I’m forgetting…
“Crystal, did Chelsea Cheshire stop by with a package for me?”
“She did. It’s inside.”
“Perfect. Thank you,” Sabrina said. “Crystal, another thing.”
“Yes?”
“Take form and join me in my room, will you?”
“Yes, my queen.”
Sabrina stepped inside her room and was instantly relieved. Her messy and cluttered bedroom had been cleaned and straitened up; atop the fresh sheets on her bed sat the package she waited for: a small plastic bin.
Sabrina heard the door open and shut behind her. She knew it was Crystal; she could smell the salt air that carried into the room with him.
“Crystal, I need…” she began until she turned and saw the elemental had taken form as commanded. “Yeah, you all have no idea how much I miss Mira, do you?”
“Does this shape please you?”
“It does.” Sabrina paused, in thought, her eyes on his manhood. “Have you spoken to Culligan recently?”
“I have. I was advised to begin practicing female forms. I’ve never—”
“My father never had you take the shape of a woman?”
“No.”
Sabrina nodded and then whispered to herself, “I guess he had enough women in his life. Mermaids and all…”
“How may I serve you?”
“Serve me…” Sabrina shook her head. She imagined how nice it would feel, getting laid right now, but she kept her mind straight. “Do elementals… How often do you…merge?”
“Merge?”
“Water is all water, right? I see you guys travel inside the palace, in those troughs. Sometimes two or more of you will appear from one source of water. So, you must all…merge…um…blend together?”
“We do.”
“When you are blended, how does that work? Do you share thoughts and memories?”
“We do.”
Sabrina felt herself blush. “So…what I say to you now, what we do here, next time you blend with the others, they will know?”
“Some of it. Not all.”
“Isn’t that a risk to security?” Sabrina said, and then mumbled. “Among other things.”
“We can block out some thoughts and memories. But feelings, physical sensations cannot be blocked. I feel what they have; they feel what I have.”
“That’s terrible,” Sabrina said.
“It can be,” Crystal agreed. “What harm Culligan has felt in his lifetime, I have felt. But equally what pleasure he has felt, I have.”
Guilt for her past interactions with Culligan made Sabrina feel less and less comfortable. “Do your best to take the shape of a woman right now,” she ordered.
“What woman?”
“Any.” Sabrina shrugged.
“I need reference.”
“I don’t know…who was the last woman you saw?”
“Chelsea Cheshire.”
“Good. Mimic her form.”
/>
Crystal spilled to the ground into a puddle and then began to churn before he stretched up. The water spirit went from a male shape that stood over six feet tall to an undefined form just above five.
Good, you got it. Chelsea is short, Sabrina thought. “Keep going.”
Slowly, the water spirit took shape, and after a burst of colorful lights, no brighter than that of a camera’s flash, the spirit looked, more or less, like Sabrina’s friend.
“Okay…” Sabrina looked the water elemental up and down. “You look like a Barbie doll. How come you can replicate the genitals of a freaking male porn star, but when asked to look like a girl, you’re all flat and smooth with no…no fine detail.”
“Your mother—”
“No!” Sabrina shouted. “I don’t want to know!”
But it was too late, she knew, and the thought made her cover her mouth with her hand as she gasped.
“I am sorry, my queen. I know how you feel about your mother. I promise, I will practice.”
“Yeah…” She shook her head trying to clear her thoughts. “Well, practice a lot. Okay?”
“Okay.”
“There are a couple of girls up top, you know the ones, the sunbathers. You can stare at them naked all day. They don’t care. Learn how to mimic one of them, okay?”
“Yes, my queen.”
“Good.” Sabrina wished she could say this was much better, but it was not. She still found the spirit to be a distraction. Now, Crystal had breasts with no nipples, causing Sabrina to rub her fingers over her own for reassurance. “Grab one of my shirts from the closet. There is a long white one with a picture of a cat that is also a Pop Tart with a rainbow coming out of his ass.”
“Nyah cat?”
“Can’t mimic lady parts but knows what Nyah cat is,” Sabrina whispered to herself. “Just put the shirt on and meet me in my bathroom, okay?”
Sabrina watched Crystal walk away and sighed. Moves like a guy. Well, Mira did too sometimes. At least Crystal is trying, I guess.
Inside the master bath, Sabrina looked at herself in the mirror. She looked like she felt—ragged. It had been a while since she had had a relaxing spa day or even a good cut and color.
“Tell me, Crystal, have you ever helped anyone cut or dye their hair?”
Amber sat upon Sabrina’s throne. She had imagined it would feel better, that it would come with a sense of completion, but it did not. Amber still had a few things to do to finish her goals and one of them, she knew, would bring her a great deal of pleasure.
As Dunyasha and two of the elder advisors argued over a new policy, Amber sat back and daydreamed.
Amber and Sabrina fought deep inside a glowing lava tube. The intense heat fueled Amber’s fire. No matter how hard Sabrina fought, this was Amber’s domain—her home. There was no way to beat her here. Amber knew she would win; she always did.
They hovered above the scorched earth, throwing blasts of elemental power at each other. Sabrina’s water was only holding Amber back, not a true threat. The strain on Sabrina’s face was highlighted by the pulsating fire Amber summoned.
Their battle, the heat, and Amber’s unrelenting flames had reduced their clothing to ash. Sweat poured off Sabrina’s naked body; it was obvious to Amber that her opponent had been reduced to even drawing from that moisture to defend herself.
It wouldn’t be long now.
Amber increased the intensity of her blast and watched as Sabrina’s wings began to droop. As they fell limp, Amber was upon her. In that second, she snatched the Queen of the Water Kingdom by her neck and squeezed. As she held Sabrina up, she watched the life drain from her body.
“It’s over. I’ve won.”
Normally, at this point in the daydream, she would snap Sabrina’s neck and drop her into the lava to burn—but this time, she flapped her wings and pushed into the cooler air outside the volcano.
“I-I relinquish my throne to you, Amber,” Sabrina said wearily. “Do what you must.”
Amber continued to hover as the winds outside the volcano swirled. Her wings had grown, and Sabrina’s had shrunk. It was as it should be.
“Before I vanquish you,”—Amber lowered Sabrina down even to her crotch and spread apart her legs—“I want you to eat me, Sabrina.”
As if the mere worlds fueled her, Sabrina returned to life. Her eyes widened, and her wings perked up as she latched her hands under Amber’s butt cheeks.
“Make me come and maybe…maybe I’ll spare your life.”
Sabrina nodded before she buried her head between Amber’s legs. Her tongue was warm and dripped with salvia; it made Amber shudder. She did not know how much she needed—wanted this until now.
“Fuck…”
Amber pushed Sabrina’s face into her as she flapped her wings to hold them both afloat.
“Make me come, Sabrina,” Amber demanded.
Sabrina’s tongue flicked faster and faster; Amber tingled from head to toe.
“You’ve done this before,” Amber said.
“I have. Many times. But never have I wanted to as much as I want to now.”
“Good.”
Sabrina’s tongue dove deep between Amber’s folds and ran up slowly until it paused and met with her moist lips. Amber did not need to look down to know Sabrina was smiling, her face was still pressed to her.
“You taste good. Just like I imagined I would,” Sabrina said.
Sabrina’s hot breath made Amber’s heart race.
“Less talk—more licking.”
Sabrina reached up with both hands. One grasped Amber’s breast and smeared ash all over it as it worked her nipple. Sabrina’s other hand joined her mouth, which had soaked Amber. Ever so gradually, two fingers worked themselves inside. Amber groaned but then grunted with pleasure when Sabrina began to suck on her clitoris.
“Fuck!”
There really was no doubt in Amber’s mind Sabrina had done this before.
“Keep going.”
Sabrina’s oral skills were unmatched. Amber tilted her head back and lost herself in the moment. Suck. Release. Suck. Release. The intensity built. It felt so good that Amber began to question whether to kill Sabrina.
“Keep going.”
Sabrina’s pressure increased. She was no longer sucking lightly. Amber dug her finger into the back of Sabrina’s neck and then pressed the water queen’s roaming hand down hard to her hot chest.
“Keep going.”
Sabrina licked, sucked, and fingered Amber. Her mix of techniques and pressure made Amber feel ready to pop.
“Slow…slow down…just a little…”
But Sabrina did not listen. She kept going until Amber released once, and then again. On the third time, Amber felt hot liquid down spill down her leg.
Amber closed her eyes for a moment; she felt like she could black out. When she opened them, she and Sabrina were no longer in a hover; they were lowered to the ground beneath the volcano.
Droplets of moisture ran down her legs. “Un-fucking-believable,” Amber said and then cupped herself where it throbbed.
Sabrina knelt before her, her head and face still inches away. “Maybe you’ll spare me.”
Amber looked down at Sabrina. She imagined being pleasured by her like this daily, but as good as that might feel, she knew the truth. In order to officially claim the throne of the Water Kingdom, the queen needed to die.
In Amber’s hand was a stone blade. She did not know where it came from, but it was there now—and its purpose was clear.
Amber aimed the blade at Sabrina’s neck. “You have to die.”
“Grant me one final wish.”
“What?”
“Fuck me.”
Sabrina’s words made Amber tingle and feel like she could orgasm again.
“I…”
Before Amber could finish her thought, Sabrina had turned around and bent over.
“Please, Amber, fuck me. Fuck me like I fucked you.”
Sabrina gave Amber quite
a view and her words echoed in Amber’s ears. Fuck me like I fucked you.
“I can do that.”
Amber got behind Sabrina and spread her legs farther. She ran her hand up roughly between Sabrina’s legs and smiled when she flinched. As she teased Sabrina with her left hand, she summoned her flames.
“What do you know of the Fire Kingdom’s women, Sabrina?”
“They’re sexy,” Sabrina answered immediately.
“And?”
“Ummm…tough?”
“Resilient. We’re resilient.”
“Yes, resilient,” she repeated.
“All of us face a trial by fire. All of us are burned.”
“And through the flames you are born anew.”
Amber smirked, she was amused that Sabrina knew the saying. “Something like that.”
With a snap of her fingers, a tiny flame was born. With another, that flame took the shape of a large cock that hung down between her legs.
“You fucked me, Sabrina. Now, it’s time I fuck you.”
“The women of the fire kingdom are all known for their resilience,” Amber whispered as Dunyasha dismissed the last of the water kingdom advisors and walked toward her.
“The entire time,” Dunyasha grumbled.
“What?” Amber said as she snapped to. “Sorry, I drifted off.”
Dunyasha blinked through time and space and was suddenly directly in front of her. Amber flinched, but not much. She was used to the way the elder vampire moved.
Dunyasha leaned in. “I smell you.”
“I bathed just two, three hours ago.” Amber sniffed her armpit. “This is one of her dresses, maybe you smell her—”
“No, I smell this.”
Dunyasha leaned closer and placed her hand between Amber’s legs, palm flat on the water kingdom’s throne. Her movement was fast but precise, as she brushed ever so slightly against Amber’s pussy in a way that nearly made her orgasm in her elevated state of arousal.
“Duny—”
“While I listened to the endless whimpering of your—these people, you sat back here and indulged yourself.” Dunyasha cocked her head so she could whisper in Amber’s ear. “This place, it wets even your fire-filled cunt.”
Amber’s heart jumped; as much as she hated it and that word, Dunyasha had turned her on—even more than she already was.
