by D M Barrett
Josh Sullivan sang and played his six-string guitar for the song called, I Will Rise. Jack Wright wrote some of the lyrics that touched his heart:
“Oh it’s hard to rise from feeling blue
Oh but I will rise
And my hand may shake from lack of booze
Oh, but I will rise, I will rise
And though I’ve fallen out of space and time
Oh, I will rise, I will rise.”
Jack Wright observed that at the end of the song, Brother Josh remarked, ‘And the dead in Christ will rise first. And those who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall we ever be.’ Everyone present replied in unison, “Amen.”
