“You have no family or friends to take you in?”

“Not here in San Francisco. My family lives in Pasadena, but they don’t know I’m pregnant.”

  “Why is that?”

“They’re religious. And after my sister’s indiscretion, I really don’t want to be a disappointment to them.”

“What makes you think I’ll tire of you? How do you know I’m not in it for the long haul?”

  “Are you?”

“Time will tell. Now read to me.”

  “I beg your pardon?”

“Read to me from your book from whichever page you left off on.”

Her face warmed. She’d been in the middle of reading a love scene between the captor and his prisoner. How could she read such things aloud to her boss while lying on the bed with him in her underwear?

“Don’t be shy, Chanel. We’re not children. We’re man and woman. There is no shame in that.” His palm caressed her belly as she lay on her side. “Give me something good to dream about tonight.”

Chanel started to read aloud to him, but the words she uttered barely registered with the way he smoothed one hand over her tummy and used the other palm to fondle her breasts. God, she wanted him.

“Read it as though you are the woman and I am the man. Let’s live out their fantasy,” Lucius whispered.

She shivered and obeyed him, delighting in the sinful touch of his fingertips on the cotton covering her pussy. “‘I watched as you set the whip down after the heavy beating I suffered, noticing that some of my blood coated the tail. It scares me to know that you are the sort of man who would think nothing of breaking my skin until I bleed for you. But more than this, it frightens me to know that I yearn to shed my blood for you should you require it of me.’”

Lucius worked his hand down into her panties, making low, guttural sounds while he seasoned her neck and right shoulder with kisses. “So beautiful.”

Chanel gasped at the intimate way he cupped her pussy and rested his hand there as if he owned her cunt and could touch it in any manner he wished.

  “Keep reading, Chanel.”

Yeah, right. That’s easy for him to say.

She whimpered when his hand retreated from her undies and lightly rubbed the material just over her clitoris.

“That wasn’t a suggestion, Chanel. Keep reading or I’m going to punish you for belligerence.”

Heat swelled inside of her when he rubbed her clit faster, creating a maddening friction from the cotton gliding over her bundle of nerves. “Oh, god, Lucius!”

“Obey me,” he growled, teeth clamping onto her arm.

She yelped and refocused on the book, trying to ignore the rising sensations of euphoria growing inside her. “‘I’ve never felt more alive than when you hold me in your arms. I’ve never felt more whole than when you break my will until it becomes one with yours. And I’ve never felt more free than when I’m your slave.’”

A ripping sound filled her ears and Chanel felt him tearing the panties off of her. Her pussy flooded in response and she felt a wild thrill at the knowledge that she was lying naked and open to his eager eyes.

“‘The heat in your eyes sets my blood on fire. The possessiveness of your touch wills my body to surrender.’ Oh, Lucius,” she breathed as his fingers dipped into her slit and skimmed through her cream.

  “Don’t stop,” he whispered.

Her thoughts exactly. “‘Your private words ignite my soul like an eternal flame. Your power and virility humble me. Your...’”

How could she continue when that word was printed on the page? He mustn’t hear her say it.

Lucius stopped sucking on her earlobe and peered over her shoulder as if to read what she refused to say. She could sense him grinning from behind her. “Read it.”

Chanel squirmed, not sure why she felt compelled to obey him despite her embarrassment. True, he was her boss, but his power over her seemed to extend beyond the terms of her employment with him. “‘Your penis captivates me. My body opens for you. It couldn’t refuse you even if it wanted to. Your cock fills me and I tremble.’ Oh my god!”

She quivered when he inserted a finger into her vagina and explored her depths with a wicked, insatiable curiosity.

  “Finish that paragraph.”

She struggled to think, let alone read when he traced delicate circles on her clit. “‘Your every thrust overpowers me and I lie helplessly in your arms. Your every word seduces me and my soul is lost to you. Our orgasms unite as our bodies have and your semen fills me, renewing me with the promise of life and confirming my absolute hopelessness and dependence on you.’”

“Feel my touch, Chanel,” Lucius whispered into her ear as he pleasured her. “Feel the words you’re reading. I want them to strip away every barrier between us until nothing remains but our naked flesh writhing against one another in a sweaty embrace.”

Chanel moaned, unsure of how to continue with the torrid assault on her body distracting her. “‘You said I was your slave and I denied it, but then you showed me I was your slave and now I know it. This won’t ever end, will it? No one is coming for me and I will never escape. I told myself I would find a way out, but every time you touch me and tell me that you will never let me go is another day closer to the moment when I realize that I will never escape you. I will always be your slave. And the scary thing is that I’m not afraid. But the thought of you ever setting me free terrifies me. I would be so lost without you. I’m your slave...Lucius. Never let me go.’”

Lucius stood and moved swiftly to the other side of the bed, dragging her by the ankle until her legs dangled off the bed and he stood between them with a possessive stare. “I will never let you go, Chanel.”

Her breath caught at his serious promise and the sight of him dropping his pants and donning a condom. She wrapped her legs around his hips and he speared into her channel, both losing control to the noises of ecstasy overtaking them.

“I’m going to own you like that, Chanel. I’m going to make you my slave,” he huffed as he rocked almost violently against her body.

Chanel groaned her elation, supposing his speech derived from role play in the heat of the moment and not his desire to own her as a slave in real life.

“Watch me, slave. Watch me fuck my dick up into you,” he panted as he worked his cock in and out of her vigorously.

His erection slamming into her core was a glorious, enthralling sight. He was generously hung and his swaying balls tapped her ass as he took her. He pounded deep inside her like there was no tomorrow.

The way Lucius paused to stroke her clitoris surprised her, but it was a rather pleasant surprise. The sudden rush of hormones and hot energy barreling through her told her that an orgasm was building inside her. When she tasted her first climax it was unlike anything she’d ever felt before. Her womb shuddered and trembled as her cunt created a vacuum-like grip on Lucius’s erection.

“Oh, fuck!” he grunted and threw his head back as he let out a savage gasp and came.

Their heavy panting filled the room and Chanel was grateful he lingered in her.

He grinned at her, emitting a breathless chuckle. “You have a job for life.”

She giggled, feeling suddenly coy yet strengthened in her womanhood at the same time. “I’m glad you liked it. Was that an orgasm?”

“Yes, Chanel, that was an orgasm. You’ve never had one before?”

  She shook her head. “No.”

“You will have plenty more of them.” He pulled out and discarded the soiled condom. “Come shower with me. I want you sleeping with me in my bed.”

Her heart thumped in her chest at the news. “Thank you.”

He smiled at her coy demeanor before becoming serious and raising her chin so she looked him in the eye. “There will be no barriers between us, Chanel. Not from condoms, work, or other people. You’re my slave and I intend to take full advantage of that.”

They were finished with the intercourse, but they were still
naked and about to shower together, so perhaps he was still role playing.

  Chapter Eleven:

  She-Wolf

Sixteen years later – Temptation, Wyoming

Chanel could scarcely believe that Lucius had communicated with her telepathically. She kept thinking it had to be a dream and the cold, unthinkable reality that she was now mated to him was all just a distorted nightmare from which she would soon awaken. But she didn’t.

She sat alone at a table in the coffee shop with her laptop, sipping a big mug of peppermint tea. The atmosphere was cozy and she relished the much-needed solitude while she searched the internet for apartments for rent outside of Temptation. She started in the Jackson Hole area before deciding that wasn’t far enough from Temptation and branching out. She didn’t need the daily reminder that her men had rejected her and she would eventually have to see them with other women. She couldn’t handle the mere thought of it, let alone the potential reality it would someday materialize into.

Her sister, Jill, always said this small town had a hold on her. Chanel couldn’t argue with that, and deep down she always knew the reason she stayed behind in Temptation after her sister left Ben Easton was because Chanel was still in love with the three Taylor brothers and couldn’t bear the thought of leaving them behind.

Now they didn’t want her anymore, so there was no point in staying any longer. Nothing and nobody to hold her down and keep her here. Jill had been pestering her for years to move back to California. She might as well look into it. If she could find a job and an affordable place to live it would be nice to be near her family again and put hundreds of miles between herself and the men who broke her heart.

Her best friend, Sally Moore, called out to her cheerfully when she entered the coffeehouse and sat down with her. “Chanel, how are you doing, girl?”

Chanel smiled at her good friend. She would miss her terribly if she moved so far away from Temptation. “All right. How are you?”

“I can’t complain. Plenty of catering going on lately. When are you going to get hitched and let me plan and cater at your wedding?”

Chanel felt a stab of pain in her heart and she swallowed down the creeping lump in her throat, shrugging with feigned indifference. “Oh, you know me. I’m good for a quick screw, but nobody wants to marry the town bitch.”

Sally frowned. “Fuck the haters. You’re a bright woman with classic good looks and a dishy bod. If I were a lesbian I’d snatch you up in a heartbeat and show those worthless men what they’re missing out on.”

  Chanel laughed ruefully. “Thanks, Sally.”

“What’s the matter? You seem down today.”

  “I’m all right.”

“That’s not true now—oo, that’s nice. Where is that?” Sally pointed to the apartment on the computer screen.

  “It’s in California.”

“You’re not thinking of moving, are you?”

  Chanel shrugged. “Maybe.”

“Now, now, now. We talked about this, girl. You can’t move away from me. You’re supposed to find a nice man and let me do your wedding. Besides, I thought you liked it here.”

“I do. I just need a change. I’ll miss you very badly, but I can always visit and you can come out to see me, too.”

“Now hold on a second. You said maybe at first, but it sounds to me like your mind is already made up. Are you really moving?”

  Chanel nodded sadly. “Most likely.”

Sally’s face was fraught with disappointment. “Why so suddenly? Where is this coming from?”

Chanel looked over at the counter and saw Cory ordering a coffee. Her heart sank. Quite possibly there stood the father of her child, or even an uncle to her baby. He was so close to his unborn seed and he didn’t have a clue. If she told them that she was carrying their child, would it make a difference? And if it did, did she really want that?

Cory started to turn and Chanel quickly dropped her eyes so he wouldn’t catch her looking at him. She felt his eyes on her and forbid herself to meet his stare. When she felt it was safe to lift them, she peeked up and stole a glance at him again, grateful his back was turned.

Sally followed her gaze over to where Cory stood in line. “Well, well. You’ve been holding out on the juicy details on me, haven’t you?”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Chanel immersed herself in her cup of tea, eyes following Cory out of the coffeehouse once he got his latte. He never once looked her way. The urge to cry was imminent and if she weren’t in public she undoubtedly would have.

“You have a thing for the Taylors don’t you? That should make them do a serious happy dance. They’ve only been waiting for you for eons.”

Chanel shook her head sadly. “They’re over me.”

“Honey, you look like you’re going to cry. What’s wrong? Tell me what happened.”

“There’s nothing to tell.” She moved her purse to the table and reached in for her lip balm.

Sally’s jaw dropped when she caught sight of something in her purse. “Oh my god! Those are prenatal vitamins. You’re pregnant!”

  “Shh! Not so loud.”

“But you’re pregnant. Who’s the proud father?”

“I don’t know.” Chanel closed her purse, lamenting her mistake. Talking about the pregnancy with someone felt like a relief, but it still made her cautious. She didn’t want to spill the beans just yet. She hoped she could move away so no one in this town would ever know she’d gotten pregnant.

“Oh, don’t give me that. You’re a wild girl, but you’re not so slutty that you sleep with more men than you can keep track of at once. Now tell me who it is.”

“I had a four-way with three men in the same night. I wasn’t kidding when I said I don’t know who the father is. Shameful I know.”

Sally’s eyes became saucers and she gaped before whispering loudly, “It was the Taylor brothers, wasn’t it? Oh my god, girl, details! What was it like screwing three men at once?”

  Chanel blushed. “Sally.”

“Well, what did they say when you told them you’re pregnant?”

Her eyes lowered to her drink, trying to collect the words.

“They didn’t abandon you, did they? Because if they did I’ll kick their asses.”

  “They don’t know.”

“I was going to say that doesn’t sound like them. Wait a minute, what do you mean you didn’t tell them? You’ve got to tell them.”

  Chanel shrugged carelessly. “Why?”

“Because one of them is a daddy now and he has a right to know.”

  “It’s not that simple.”

Sally rolled her eyes. “Honestly, Chanel, those boys are madly in love with you. They worshiped the ground you walk on even back when you wanted nothing to do with them. Now that you’ve been intimate with them and are carrying their baby, they’ll never let you go.”

“I think you’ve overestimated their feelings for me.”

“I think you’ve underestimated them. Now tell me why you have no intention of telling them.”

“We had a fight—an irreconcilable one.”

“Oh, I doubt that. Everything will turn out all right. You’ll see.”

Chanel wanted to believe that, but the mark on her shoulder seemed to burn a hole through her shirt, serving as a reminder of her captivity. The physical evidence of the barrier between her and her three loves.

“They need to know,” Sally insisted.

“You can’t tell anyone, Sally. Promise me you won’t.”

“All right, I promise. But you should. This whole moving business is crazy. There’s no need to flee the state just because you got knocked up. Just talk to them and see what comes of it. They’re chivalrous. They won’t leave you hanging.”

“Oh, wonderful. That’s just what I need, three men to marry me out of pity and obligation because I’m carrying their baby.”

“Oh, Chanel, you know they love you no matter what.”

  No matter w
hat. Unconditional love wouldn’t relent simply because another had claimed her by force. True affection wouldn’t think of her as a whore for a mistake she had no part in making.

“Tell you what, why don’t we go and hang out at the club tonight? I know you’re not a member, but it’s Saturday, so it’s open to the public tonight. We can get dressed up all slutty and have a couple of drinks—oh, I’m sorry, you can’t. Forget that part, then. We’ll flirt with all the hotties and dance. It’ll be great and it will help take your mind off things. What do you say?”

“If this is some kind of ploy of yours to trick me into magically bumping into them so I have to talk to them—”

Sally waved a hand at her. “No, no. There’s no ploy. Dawson and Cory probably won’t even be there and Brad will likely be too busy playing Dom to even notice that you’re there, if he even works tonight. And if he did notice and saw you laughing and socializing with other men who are drooling over you, well, now, would that be so terrible? You need a break from all this stress.”

Chanel smiled. “I’ll think about it.”

  * * * *

Being in a sex club was as much a nice escape from the current things that had Chanel stressed as it was a stark reminder of another life she’d lived—a private, controlled life with her Master. Granted, she imagined the BDSM was toned down some when the club was open to the public, but its undertones were still potent.

She and Sally dressed slutty as planned and they danced and flirted with some of the available men. Sally was all decked out in black leather and Chanel wore flared, skintight jeans with white stilettos and a white corset top that had white floral detailing that blended into the backdrop of the same color beautifully. The garment laced up the back and pushed her ample cleavage upward.

She hoped she didn’t run into any of the Taylor brothers tonight. She was here to have a good time and enjoy a girls’ night out with her best friend. She didn’t need any mood killers.

On the other hand, she looked smashing tonight, so maybe flaunting what her mother gave her in front of the men who jilted her was just the sort of confidence booster she needed.
