The amazing story of the Jewish people and its miraculous history has been the bedrock of my dreams since the dawn of my childhood, but there is one event that has been lost in the mist of time, the greatest catastrophe ever to befall the Jewish people, more terrible than the Holocaust of World War II. The colossal disaster I refer to occurred approximately seven hundred and fifty years BCE: the massive dispersion and exile of ten of the twelve tribes of Israel. No one knows where they vanished in our little world. Legend has it that they went beyond the Sambatyon River. Was there indeed such a river? The Jewish people, laden with a multitude of stories and profound experiences, have never made an organized attempt to search for the lost tribes or even gain a glimpse as to their fate. After much thought, effort and methodical research, I have uncovered clues that indicate the path taken by the Ten Lost Tribes. I have also come to understand why it is they will never return to their origins…
