“It suits you.” I tell my friend. He woofs back at me as if to say he agrees.
Tobias slips his hand into mine. I squeeze it back for good measure.
In a hushed tone, Tobias says, “I hope your Italian family tree isn’t as complicated as your Greek one.”
Smiling back, I reply, “Looks like we’re gonna find out.”

About the Author
Peter Saenz spent the majority of his growing years in both Southern California and parts of South Texas. He’s always been fascinated with the various aspects of the fantasy genre and is a fan of authors: Anne Rice, David Sedaris, J.K. Rowling and Roald Dahl. Coven of Wolves is his first published novel. He previously released ‘New Moon Rising’, the first chapter of this novel, as a short story for the collected story book Queer Tales: A Fantasy Anthology. Peter currently lives in Los Angeles with his husband Joseph and their cat Pickles.
