Stolen and Seduced
Page 77
His teeth are then replaced by a brush of his lips and the gentleness spreads tingles over my exposed skin. His lips trail over my collarbone to my neck. He bites me again and my arousal spills out, my knees go weak in anticipation of feeling his lips finally against mine. “Eleazar,” I whimper in his ear. “I’m yours, so claim me.”
With a growl, he pins me down onto the bed with his large body and forces my hands above my head. His eyes darken with lust. “Say it again.”
“I’m yours,” I breathe.
“Good. Because I want to look into your eyes as I fuck you and blow my seed into you.” Without warning, he enters me, filling me full.
“Oh, yes. Eleazar, claim me.” I buck into him greedily, wanting every thick inch of him. Us together, moving as one, is the most soul-altering experience I’ve ever felt. He moves inside me with such purpose and passion. As if the fate of the universe rests on this precise moment. Each stroke sending me higher into the star-crossed sky. I slip over the edge multiple times.
Then…his lips devour mine in a feverish kiss, his tongue exploring my mouth in search of mine. Our tongues dance a tango. An explosion detonates behind my eyes and engulfs the rest of my body in a delicious flame.
His strokes shorten, becoming faster until he is drilling me. I lift my pelvis, grabbing ahold of his hips, never unlinking our gaze. Pumping harder and faster, animalistic grunts escaping his lips, he says, “I’ve been saving all my seed for you.” With one last pump, he drives into me, roaring to the ceiling. The room shakes as he spills into me, some overflowing out onto the bed. I just watch how sexy he looks claiming me. Sealing his kingdom’s fate. I bite my lip.
He stops. The shaking doesn’t. And he’s off me in a flash, looking out into the night.
An explosion of epic proportions shatters the windows. Eleazar’s scales elongate and he tears off through the bay window into the night.
“What the…?” I scramble to my feet, cum dripping down my leg and onto the floor as I sprint over to the window.
There in the distance, a tank blasts another rocket-like bullet into the side of the mountain.
And walking a ways in front of it is an army of humans dressed in black, carrying futuristic-type machine guns. A red head catches my attention. I pull my hand to my heart with a gasp. I squint to get a better look. My mouth goes dry. “Asha?!”
I want to tell her kids are alive. I never anticipated it would be in the middle of a war.
Asha
“Ah, there’s our psycho alien killer now.” I point out to Carter the dragon barreling through the sky headed straight towards us. The beasts function on rage alone. I didn’t think it would take much to lure him away from his lair. We’ve been training weeks for this moment.
“Leave the psycho to me and go find Veda.”
“Roger that, Major.” Our unit splits up into two squads, the tanker following my lead. With signals, I order my squad to switch formation as we come toward a lengthy bridge with no rails and fire shooting up. Seeing their starship off in the distance, I can assume this must be the entrance to his lair, which is a creepy-looking castle-mountain straight out of Hell. The sight and size of it all is haunting, but I push on. “Let’s go save our damsel.” I motion them forward to the bridge. One by one we cross, me in the lead. We get about halfway when my radio inside my helmet crackles. “Incom—” The tanker goes haywire, shooting in all directions.
Grrrr!
“Oh, my God! What that fuck was that?” a squad member yells.
We all turn on a dime.
The tanker appears to be on fire.
Then the fire jumps to the ground, carrying one of our own in its grasp. How is this possible? I blink my eyes several times, unsure what I’m seeing. It flings the body in the air and it lands into the fiery pit below. That’s when I realize it’s not a dancing flame. It stalks forward on all fours, snapping sharp and deadly fangs.
“It’s a Goddamn Hellhound. Move! Move!”
My squad rushes to the other side of the bridge.
“Ahhhh!” someone screams, and I look back to find the hound trailing close behind us, flinging another squad member into the air.
“Oh, God. We weren’t prepared for this shit.” I motion the others past me and position the butt of my gun against my shoulder and take aim. I shoot, aiming for its head.
It dodges it and makes an agile leap through the air, its heavy body lands on me; the heat from its paws burning into my suit. I squirm underneath it’s crushing weight. For once, I’m thankful for this helmet because its fangs are snapping too close to my face.
Gun shots go off behind me, piercing into its flesh. The impact doesn’t even faze the creature. My heart sinks. I thought I was so close to getting my sister back. After all the planning, training, blood, sweat and tears, we still have fallen short.
I’m between a fiery beast and a hard place. There is no escape.
The heat penetrating my suit starts to cook my skin. I holler out into the night.
“Cyrus, stop!” I hear a woman yell. The hound immediately jumps off me and dives into the pit.
Huh? I cough out. Next thing I know, hands fill my vision and I’m lifted into someone’s arms.
My squad members carry me over the bridge and lay me back down onto the ground. My lungs feel deprived of oxygen. As I struggle to breathe, the smell of burnt flesh lingers up to my nose.
“Asha?” I hear an angelic voice say.
My upper body is lifted off the ground. I’m now in somebody’s lap. “Asha, stay with me. Help is on the way.” Eyes like mine come into view, a bright but worried smile. Brown hair that once was curly is now straightened, a hairstyle like mine.
“Veda? Is it really you?”
Her smile widens. “The one and only—”
“Royal pain in my ass.” I try to laugh but cough instead.
She embraces me tighter. “Just take it easy, help is on the way. Come on, let’s get her inside.”
With my vision slipping in and out, I’m losing hope I’ll be around long enough to take my next breath.
Eleazar
The humans who ambushed my planet split off into two groups. I circle around and follow the one with the Impostor. The one who infected my mate.
He will pay.
I swoop down and spray the ground with fire, building a circle just around him.
This war is between me and him. I don’t need his soldiers interfering. Through his helmet I can see him glaring at me. He goes about maneuvering a weapon onto his shoulder. A weapon I presume to be a rocket launcher. When you fight fire with fire, someone is bound to get burned.
That someone isn’t me.
I dive down in a flash, knocking the weapon out of his hand before he has a chance to pull the trigger.
I give him a moment to stand up and face me like a real alien should. No weapons, just our fists.
I crack my neck. “If you haven’t learned by now, the human is mine. I have no problem beating it into you, venom scum. Don’t ever put your lips or anything else near her again.” I roar, charging at him, red filling my vision. I grapple him around the waist, pulling him to the ground. I punch him, left hook, right hook to the sides.
He blocks my third attempt. “Venom scum?” He horse-kicks me off, and I land standing, going in for more.
A spray of bullets enters the ring of fire. I dodge each one.
“Yes, kissed my mate and infected her.” I go to punch him in the chest but when he ducks, I miss and get turned around.
He clocks me square in the jaw. “Kissed her? Infected her?” He goes to punch me again.
I grab him by the wrist and whip him around into a headlock. “Don’t play dumb with me, Imposter. You kissed her on the ship before I took her back from you.”
“Of course, she would kiss an Imposter and not the real Carter, which is me.”
Not trusting his words, I rip the helmet off his head. The only way to figure out if he is telling the truth.
Serpenites can breathe on our planet. Humans can’t.
Immediately, his hands go to his throat, face turning a shade lighter. He gasps for air. Satisfied with my answer. I roll my eyes and put the helmet back on. “Okay, you are the real Carter. But you still can’t have her back. She belongs to me,” I growl.
“That’s not for you to decide.”
“She’s decided. Soon she will be carrying my spawn.”
He grunts, swinging at me again. “Bull—”
Bullets fly at us from a distance, and we both look up into the sky to see several green warships.
“Serpenites,” we say in unison.
“This changes nothing,” says Carter. “I will get Veda back.”
I shake my head, laughing. He has no idea, but I don’t have time to explain. I have Serpenite ass to kick. Shifting, I smother the fire around us with my tail and take flight. They don’t hesitate to follow my lead. Carter aims his rocket launcher into the air, taking out three of the warships.
Below, my army takes their positions, while some take to the sky alongside me.
Including my sister, Nyah.
Nuclear bombs shoot up from various locations; bombs that will kill and stop the spread of their virus on impact.
We torpedo through the sky taking out warship after warship.
High on the adrenaline.
With my army, the humans, and my sister beside me, victory will soon be ours.
Veda
With an advanced medical facility at our disposal, we were able to treat Asha’s third-degree burns with minimal internal and external damage. She looks good as new.
“I have a surprise for you, Ash.”
She smiles brightly at me and takes my hand. I walk her down the hall to my bedroom chamber and open the door.
“After you.”
She rolls her eyes. “Is this some kind of prank, Veda? Because I don’t think I’m up for your shenanigans quite yet. Or ever.”
“No. Trust me. You’re going to want to see them.”
She narrows her eyes at me, crossing her arms. “Them?”
“Mommy?!”
Instantly tears fill her eyes as she snaps her attention to the source of those sweet little voices. “Veda…”
I nod with encouragement, and she runs into the room, falling to her knees, scooping both of her children into her arms. Watching the reunion, I thought my sister would never get brings tears to my eyes, and I cradle my stomach in my hand. It’s only been a few days, but I can feel the presence of life within me. Dragonoids develop at a faster rate. I will only be pregnant for six months. I hope I am at least half the mother my sister is. She makes it look too damn easy.
I rejoice with them, joining in their group hug.
“Veda, how?”
I sense him behind us in the room. “Why don’t you ask him yourself?” I nod to the door.
“What?” She looks at me with a confused expression and stands up, finally aware of Eleazar’s presence in the doorway. “You saved them, but how? We saw you kill them.”
“Another one of the Serpenites deceiving abilities—memory manipulation.” They were trying to block the Dragoniods heroic efforts at every turn. They made it appear to us that Eleazar had killed her family when, they were bitten by a Serpenite. Eleazar goes on to explain everything, unfortunately about not being able to save Jeff, too.
I help her over to the bed so she can sit and digest the information. Her kids rest their heads on each shoulder. “You still got us, Momma,” her son says.
She looks at Eleazar, and whispers, “Thank you,” holding on to her kids so tight as if they might suddenly slip away.
“I guess it’s time to say goodbye to our alien friend,” Asha tells the kids as she packs up the rest of their things.
“Okay, Mommy.” They dart out of the room and down the hall.
“All packed?” She turns to look at me. So does Carter, who hasn’t said two words to me since he found out I kissed his lookalike and liked it.
I let out a big breath and focus on Ash. “About that.” I swallow hard. “I’m staying.”
Carter jumps into our circle. “Veda, you can’t be fucking serious! After all we went through to rescue you?”
“I know.” I touch his arm, and he glances down to my hand then back up to me, a twitch in his jaw. I move my hand away. “I appreciate everything you guys did. I know it must have been nerve-wracking not knowing if I was okay. But as it turns out, I didn’t need saving. I’m exactly we’re I’m supposed to be.” I grab hold of my sister’s hand as she looks at me with hurt in her eyes.
“Veda, I know he has done some extraordinary things, saved you, saved my children, but you belong with us. We are your family.”
I let go of Asha’s hand as she says this. Right then Eleazar appears behind me and wraps his arms around me, and together we make a heart over my belly with our fingers.
Asha’s hands zoom to her face in shock. “Oh my God. I’m going to be an auntie!” she squeals.
I nod, wiping away a fallen tear from my eye.
Her arms fling around the both of us. “You guys will make a beautiful alien baby,” she cries. “Oh, my gosh. I must tell the kids.” She takes off out of sight, leaving us to deal with Carter who is just staring off into space.
“I’ll give you two some privacy,” Eleazar whispers, planting a kiss on my forehead before leaving the room.
Okay, I’ll deal with Carter. I play with my fingers, not sure what to say. I had made him a casualty in another war and the guilt will haunt me for days to come. I just hope we can be friends one day.
He rubs the length of his face with his hand and presses the other against the wall. “I think I’m going to be sick.”
Nervousness zips through me. Hurting him is the last thing I wanted. “Carter, I’m so sorry.” I go to touch him.
He slaps my hand away. “No, I’m sorry. I should’ve known I wasn’t good enough for you to love me.”
I shake my head. “Carter, that’s not true. You are more than enough.”
“Then how come you are with him and not me? I was ready to give you everything!” he yells. “But I guess alien is your type, huh?”
“Carter, I—”
“Save it, Veda.” He pushes away from the wall and walks past me.
“Carter, please don’t leave like this,” I plead, pulling him back by his arm.
He yanks his arm away. “Goodbye, Veda. I hope you have a nice life with King Ding-a-ling and baby.”
“Carter.”
He flips me the bird, walking out of my life forever.
My sister and the kids and I said our goodbyes, and I watched them fly away in the ship from Eleazar’s bay window.
I close my eyes, feeling his arms around me.
“No regrets?”
“Not. A. One.” I turn so I’m facing him. “Maybe just one,” I tease.
“And what’s that?”
“Not meeting you sooner.”
“Mmm. Me too.” He delivers a toe-curling lip bite, then, I feel his lips curl into a smile. My God, he is fucking smiling! My heart does a somersault. Finally!
“Now I understand why you humans kiss.”
I sigh happily. The king’s first kiss be longs to me. “It gets better.” Gently, I kiss him, parting his mouth with my tongue. I pour my heart and soul into the kiss.
His growl erupts between our lips, and I come just from the vibration—the things he does to me without even trying. “Holy Galaxy, female. What are you doing to me?” he whispers in between our tongues dancing.
“I’m making you fall in love.”
“It’s terrifying.”
“Don’t worry your Dragonoid heart; I got you.”
“Good because I’m falling pretty fucking hard.”
I look down to his cock stabbing into me. The corner of my lip curls up. “No debate there.”
He laughs. “What would my future queen like to do today?” It’s crazy to think after all this tim
e, I just needed an alien dragon shifter to tame my wild and crazy heart.
“You know…” I press my hands to his chest. “I’ve always fantasized about riding on the back of a dragon-shifter through space.” I raise my brow seductively.
“Is that so?” He gives me that panty-melting smirk. “Then what are you waiting for? Hop on.”
I grab my oxygen helmet as he shifts. He helps me onto his back with his tail, and I secure myself between the dip of his neck and back. I hold on for dear life, the adrenaline pumping through my veins. We soar out the through the opening window into the starry night sky. The ground below becomes a blur of red, orange, and purple. The humid air skitters across my skin as my heart palpitates taking in the gorgeous views of Lyra. My home. Where I was always meant to be. With the being I grow more infatuated with each passing day. It’s funny how the darkness has a way of showing you the light, showing who you are destined to be. I never thought an alien would be the one to teach me what it truly means to be human. His Cosmic Queen. Maybe someone will write a fairy tale about us one day. How a woman with a troubled soul one day met a dragon-shifter and turned his cold heart into gold.
