The hand on her hip tightened, his free hand snapping against her bare thigh with a sharp slap. Her cunt clenched, breath catching in her throat as she arched, the sudden, brief pain turning quickly into pleasure as she ground back down onto his cock. Liquid heat claimed her body, pushing through her being as she rolled her hips on his erection in an erotic dance. Each breath now burned, her muscles tightened, sweat coated her flesh and still she rolled her hips, impaled on his cock.
“Can’t hold on.” Darrel met her gaze, his eyes liquid, silver flecks dancing within the darkness.
“Then don’t.”
He roared, thrusting upward, flattening her against the wall. His cock throbbed, so thick and full she could feel every pore pressed against her wet confines. She grasped at his hair, unable to stop herself from pulling hard, her body no longer her own. Pleasure, pain, fear, and need all combined in one last rush as she screamed out his name. “Darrel!”
How long he held her against the wall, his cock still semi-erect, she couldn’t tell, but when he finally stepped back he shook violently.
“I don’t think my legs like me right now.”
Hailey struggled to unlock her ankles and ease back down even as he lifted her from his cock. “Goddess have mercy.”
A wry smile twitched at the corners of his full lips. “If you’re asking for her mercy I think it’s a little late for that.”
Hailey gathered up the shredded panties and pulled her pants back on, chuckling. “Fair point.”
“I think those are a lost cause.” He nodded towards the scraps of white cloth.
“And with the ward in place I have no way of replacing them. So I’ll just have to do without.”
He growled. “Are you trying to get me to fuck you all over again? No panties ‑‑ Goddess, have you any idea how sexy that is?”
“Unless you’ve got a spare pair somewhere on you I don’t exactly have a lot of choice here.” She grinned. Still, the idea of turning him on all over again was appealing.
He fastened his pants and tucked his shirt back in. “Well, I’d say we made the most of our time, don’t you?”
“I don’t think this is exactly what they had in mind.” She pulled one hand through her hair.
“Bragging or complaining?”
“Bragging, definitely. I think we both needed that.” She walked over to the window and leaned against the wall. Even though the Guardian ward would prevent her from escaping it didn’t stop her from being able to look out of the window at the world beyond.
“I’m not about to argue with you.”
Sunlight filtered down through the clouds in small rays, tiny points of light in an otherwise overcast day. Her gaze narrowed on the black clouds as they billowed in, hurried along the sky by a growing wind. But even then the small spears of warmth struggled through the cracks.
She shivered as the first heavy drops of rain splashed against the window.
“There’s a storm coming.”
“It could be a long one as well.” He followed her across the room and wrapped his arms about her waist. She frowned, watching through the window as she leaned back against his chest. He smelled of sex and mingled sweat; somehow that felt right. She was safe here, in his arms as they watched the wind chase the clouds across the sky. Even now the spears of light struggled to find a way through the dark sky. They were little more than threads of hope against the darkness, desperate to find a way to survive even as the clouds rushed together, closing off the last of the gaps.
“We have to do this, don’t we?”
“Yes,” he murmured against her neck. “I think we do.”
Hailey closed her eyes, listening to the rain against the window pane, the sound of his heart beating against her back. She belonged here, in his arms, but if they didn’t stand up and fight then even moments like this, just watching the rain together, might be denied to them.
Is this why Gem had brought them together?
No, but I think she’d approve of our decision, don’t you?
Hailey turned in his arms, looking up into his eyes, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips. She leaned up, wrapping her arms about his neck, her hands tangling in his hair, pulling his face down until his lips were only a breath away.
“Yes, I think she will.”
His lips claimed hers, tongue sliding between them, a low groan filling her mouth until she wasn’t sure where his ended and hers began.
Our world, our people, our love, and may the Goddess have pity on whoever tries to stand in our way.
