That’s not possible,” Frost chuckled as he slowly pulled his dick from the beautiful bard, her lips desperately hanging on to his cock as he pulled it out. He stared at Brynn’s gaping pussy and smiled at his handiwork.

“Did you want to join in?” Brynn asked, panting as she stared at Olivia.

“N-no,” Olivia said, blushing as she stared at Frost. “I-is that okay, husband?”

“That’s fine,” Frost chuckled. “But if there is something you want, you know you can ask, right?”

“Can we kiss again?” Olivia asked nervously.

“Absolutely,” Frost laughed as Lysandra and Brynn both moved over to allow him in. Frost climbed into bed and laid down facing Olivia. “Feel free to start.”

“Okay,” Olivia said. She ran her hands up and down his chest, feeling all of his muscles before finally leaning in to peck him on the lips. She sucked on his lower lip as she pulled away and kissed him several tips on the edges of his mouth as well as his upper lip. It was like she was experimenting to figure out what each kiss felt like. Finally, she kissed him deeply, sliding her tongue into his mouth as she continued running her hands up and down his body. “Y-you can touch my breasts, husband.”

Frost gently pulled her brassiere down and started gently massaging Olivia’s nipples as they kissed. After about a minute the beautiful black-haired noblewoman pulled away and smiled.

“Thank you,” Olivia said. “For everything. I think I’m happy like this for the evening. Is that okay?”

“That’s fine,” Frost chuckled. “There’s no reason to rush into anything.”

  “Thank you,” Olivia said again.

“Tell me you at least got yourself off,” Brynn asked as she climbed over Frost. “We went through all this trouble to help you get more comfortable.”

“Mmhm,” she said as her face turned red. “It was nice.”

“Nice,” Brynn chuckled as she rolled back to her spot. The beautiful bard climbed under the covers. “Just you wait. You’ll realize what nice really is.”

“Mmhm,” Lysandra said as she wrapped her arm around Frost. “Nice is an understatement.”

“Lysandra,” Brynn said, yawning as she cuddled up next to the elf. “Are you really the one stealing my panties?”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Lysandra said as she buried her face in Frost’s back.

“It’s fine if you are,” Brynn said. “Just make sure you put them back in the dirty laundry when you’re done.”

“You are strangely okay with that,” Frost said.

“It’s not even close to the grossest thing that goes on in this village.”

“You know it’s still daytime, right?” Olivia said as she stared at the other three.

“People are allowed to have mid-day naps without being judged,” Brynn said.

“I work very hard,” Lysandra said defensively

Several quick taps echoed off the window.

“I think Ka wants in,” Frost said as Lysandra snuggled against him.

“I’m not getting up,” Brynn said. Several more taps followed.

“I’ll let her in,” Olivia said.

  CHAPTER 38

Frost opened his eyes and found himself floating in an abyss next to Cassia. Both of them looked around for something bright or colorful but there was only nothingness.

“This is new,” Cassia said as she stared at the dark void.

“That it certainly is,” Frost said.

A small light appeared in the distance, then another and another until the sky was full of them. Each light was different in size and looked like a million prismatic fireflies floating in an abyss. The fireflies gradually fell like snowflakes and created a glowing ground beneath Frost’s feet.

“Definitely new,” Frost said as a trail lit up.

Frost and Cassia walked along the glowing trail as the warm sparkling lights continued to fall around them, eventually coming to a glowing stairway.

“Do you think she puts a lot of planning into these?” Frost asked while glancing at Cassia.

“I think Shalia just naturally creates beautiful things like this,” Cassia said as she happily watched the sparkles fall around them while climbing the stairs.

“It’s impressive,” Frost chuckled as the staircase gradually spiraled around, climbing higher and higher into the cosmos.

“This might be her most beautiful one yet,” Cassia sighed as glanced back at the glowing path behind them. The colorful lights on the ground swirled around as if riding on the wind and the higher they climbed the more spectacular the light-show became. “She truly is the most wonderful goddess!”

An enormous glowing platform appeared above them and the stardust stairway twisted to wrap around it. They followed the path and reached the top to find Shalia sitting at a crystal table with Ziralia, Riliandra, and a black-haired man with gold streaks in his hair and mildly feminine features. Standing behind Ziralia was Xavier, her Prophet, and behind the black-haired man was both Luciana and a gaunt gentleman that was best described as looking like an inebriated gigolo. Amaya was sitting on Riliandra’s lap and looked half asleep. Clearly attending the meeting was taking a toll on the young girl.

“Sebastian my love!” Shalia waved at him as he and Cassia arrived on the platform. “Thank you for joining us! We were just discussing the new arrangement!”

“New arrangement?” Frost asked while staring at the redheaded man. He noticed that Riliandra appeared especially irritated by his presence.

“Yes!” Shalia said excitedly. “It seems our little family is growing!”

“I still haven’t agreed to this,” Riliandra grumbled.

“I don’t really see you having much of a choice in the matter Riliandra,” the man that Frost assumed was Niri said. “Herald Frost promised Luciana here that you wouldn’t be getting your prophet until you agreed to it. Isn’t that right, Herald Frost?”

“That would be correct,” Frost said as he approached the platform. “Nice to see you all again.”

“Why would you agree to this?” Riliandra asked while slamming her fist on the table. “Niri stole my followers!”

“I can’t help being a better value,” Niri said while flipping a color-changing coin. Frost noticed his eyes similarly changed color and that his pupils were vertical slits. “My followers gain wealth, yours gain what exactly? Ah, right. A bossy lady. I like that, it fits you.”

Luciana stifled a laugh while her prophet yawned and looked around.

“You should watch yourself, Niri,” Ziralia said as she glared at the handsome man. “You might find yourself in a dire situation yourself someday.”

“Dire situation,” Niri rolled his eyes. “Please. Even with her recent losses she has more followers than I do. Her problem is that she focuses too much on what she lost and not enough on what she has. She needs to look toward the future. That stupid war of hers cost us both thousands of followers.”

“A war that only started because you encouraged them to revolt!” Riliandra snapped. “And I would have crushed you if that prophet of mine wasn’t playing games with the troops! I could still crush you!”

“Can you though?” Niri asked rhetorically. “The king of Rilia doesn’t like you very much and he controls the army.”

“I hate you so much,” Riliandra growled.

“Don’t be like that,” Shalia said cheerfully. “The five of us have formed a wonderful alliance!”

“Five?” Frost asked while checking his count. “Is number five invisible?”

“I still think you should just eat her while she’s still small,” Ziralia said. “Put her in her place so she never moves against you. It worked for Sthilinna. Riliandra could have crushed Niri centuries ago but instead she let him be and now look at her.”

“Who are you talking about?” Frost asked while looking around the table.

“Twi!” a tiny voice echoed from Shalia’s chest. “Twi! Yes! Twi! Yes! Twi! Yes!”

&n
bsp; “You’re joking,” Frost said as a small colorful head popped out from between Shalia’s breasts. The palm-sized harpy wriggled herself free and glided down to the table.

The miniature harpy couldn’t have been any larger than a teacup as she began waltzing around the table. The harpy’s feathers were constantly fluctuating as she gracefully danced around with an invisible partner, occasionally glancing up at him with a big smile.

“Twi! Dance! Twi! Dance! Yes!” Twi said happily as sparkles fell from her wings, leaving shimmering trails on the table wherever she danced. Her long omni colored tail feathers vibrantly glowed as they dragged behind her, sweeping up the sparkly stardust. “Sebastian! Dance! Yes!”

“She’s learning words very quickly,” Shalia said as she stroked Twi’s head with one of her fingers. “Before you know it, she’ll be speaking full sentences and summoning heralds of her own!”

“Wait,” Frost said while shaking his head. “I’m still catching up. Twi is a real goddess?”

“She is now,” Shalia said as she clapped along with Twi’s dance. Bouncing her head back and forth playfully with each step. “She doesn’t know much yet. Just little bits that she’s picked up from her followers but the more followers she acquires the more knowledge she’ll gain. Isn’t she just wonderful?”

“She’s a little imposter is what she is,” Cassia said while glaring at the harpy. “Another little deceiver masquerading as a goddess.”

“Hag! Hag! Hag!” Twi shouted several times while flapping her wings threateningly.

“Maybe you should eat her,” Cassia said while crossing her arms.

“Cassia my love,” Shalia shook her head. “Twi is a good girl and she’s so beautiful! She just wants to make everything pretty and colorful! She’s a perfectly fine goddess!”

“A harpy, huh?” Niri said as he smiled at the tiny winged woman. Snapped his fingers and a pile of colorful gemstones appeared in front of the harpy.

“Shiny! Yes!” Twi shouted as she began rolling around in the gemstones.

“Not as cute as I was when I was a little Kina though,” Niri said.

“You were so adorable!” Shalia said happily. “And you’ve grown into such a handsome god! Although I do miss your lovely tails!”

“He still has them when he wants,” Luciana said as she ran her fingers through Niri’s hair. “Sometimes he’ll let me nap on them.”

“So,” Frost looked around at the table. “How is this going to work with another herald in the mix? Do we split tasks? Do we go back to our own?”

“I have no intention of working,” Luciana said while crossing her arms. “I’ve held up my end of the bargain here.”

“But this is really exciting!” Shalia said cheerfully.

“Twi! Yes!” Twi shouted while spinning around and collapsing in her gem pile. “Shiny! Yes!”

“Normally gods and goddesses are fighting but we’re all getting along,” Shalia said. “It makes me so happy! I’m so happy with you Sebastian! You really are the most wonderful herald!”

“Give him a few years,” Ziralia said. “He’ll disappoint you eventually.”

“I agree with her,” Frost said while nodding at the golden-haired goddess. “I will definitely disappoint you.”

“Don’t be so modest,” Cassia said while wrapping her arms around him. “You’re the best herald! Shalia chose you and you’re married to the most amazing elf in the entire universe!”

“I can’t believe we’re letting him in on this,” Riliandra said while glaring at Niri. “I really should have eaten you while you were still small.”

“I don’t know about that,” a voice echoed in the darkness as the stars faded away. “Sometimes, no matter what you do, they just don’t learn. You could bind them, devour them, and bury them and still they’ll just do what they want. You’ll go through all of that trouble training them and then one day you’ll wake up and find out that some conceited little goddess stole something that belonged to you.”

“It’s been nice…” Niri rushed off the back of the platform but quickly found himself suspended midair as millions of silk threads wrapped around him. “I didn’t have any part in this!”

“I didn’t either,” Ziralia said as she attempted to make a break for it.

“What’s going on?” Luciana asked as she watched a thread wrap around Ziralia’s ankles and lift her into the sky.

Shalia jumped on the table and covered Twi with her body as she trembled in fear.

“P-please don’t hurt Twi!” Shalia shouted. “She’s just a child!”

“Twi! Yes!” Twi shouted from beneath Lysandra as a webbed net formed on top of Lysandra, pinning her to the table with the tiny harpy.

“I-I didn’t steal anything!” Riliandra said as she stood up and attempted to hide Amaya behind her. Hundreds of silk strands swirled around her and dragged her out of the way, leaving Amaya unguarded. “She was already on a ship!”

“She is from Naran, she is mine,” Sthilinna said as she dropped down from the void and landed on the table.

The enormous gold-bodied Arachne walked toward Riliandra, her size increasing the closer she got. Her bronze skin shimmered as her gold hair fell on her shoulders, conveniently covering her naked breasts. She bent down and smiled

“A-arachne…” Amaya said, trembling as she backed away.

“Sthilinna, that’s enough,” Frost said as he held out his arms to Amaya. The pink-eared Florenne rushed toward him and he picked her up. “What good is scaring a little girl?”

“Herald Frost,” Sthilinna glared at him. “Were you behind this treachery?”

“No,” Frost said as he handed the pink-haired girl to Cassia. “And it wasn’t treachery.”

“What is going on?” Luciana said as she looked around for an escape.

“I got no fucking clue,” her prophet said. “This is one wild fucking ride though.”

“These four know that they are not to touch any prophets from my territory, Herald Frost,” Sthilinna said as she walked toward him. She was at least three times larger than a typical Arachne but that wasn’t what impressed him. What impressed him was how her hair managed to always cover her breasts no matter how she moved, as if it was glued to them. “What would you call it if not treachery?”

“Sebastian,” Shalia whined. “Stop thinking about her breasts and answer her questions!”

“I can’t help it,” Frost said. “They’re right there and she keeps moving in a way where I think I’ll see something but I never actually do! It keeps me on edge!”

“This is serious, you perverted human!” Ziralia shouted as the ropes tightened around her.

“Not to me,” Frost chuckled. “She’s told me before that she can’t harm me in here so I’m fine! Besides, she has a point! Shalia warned you about grabbing a prophet from Naran! What did you think would happen?” Frost looked up at the unamused Arachne goddess. “Who told you anyway?”

“Twi! Yes!” Twi shouted as she flew between the webs to escape. She flew at Sthilinna and began smacking her in the face with her wings like an annoying fly.

“A little bird told one of my followers,” Sthilinna said while pinching Twi between her fingers. She lifted the tiny bird to her mouth. “Twi, is it?”

“Come on! Don’t eat her,” Frost said. “She doesn’t know what she’s doing.”

“I have no intention of eating little Twi,” Sthilinna said as she pecked the tiny harpy’s head. She released Twi and the harpy quickly flew back to her hiding spot. Sthilinna turned her attention back to the rest of the group “I have endless patience for children. It’s the ones that are old enough to know better that need to be punished.”

“I didn’t even know she got the prophet from Naran!” Niri said defensively.

“She literally arrived in your country on a ship from Naran!” Riliandra shouted.

“Why would you say that?” Niri snapped.

“If I’m getting digested then you’re getting digested
!” Riliandra yelled.

“How about we don’t digest anybody,” Frost said as he approached Sthilinna. “I don’t really remember the entirety of our last meeting but if I remember you’re pretty reasonable.”

“I am nothing if not reasonable, Herald Frost,” she said while smiling at him, displaying her fangs. “But I have yet to see any results from our previous agreement.”

“I can’t make your queens lay eggs,” Frost shrugged. “But you must know how good they have it.”

“I am losing them to other goddesses,” Sthilinna said. “Twi is likely to become very popular with how my children adore beautiful things.”

“Well, your branding isn’t great if I’m being honest,” Frost said.

  “Branding?” Sthilinna glared at him.

“Shalia is the goddess of love,” Frost said as he pointed at the elf. “Twi is the goddess of beauty. Niri is the god of wealth. Ziralia and Riliandra are goddesses of Law and Order. And you’re the goddess of the Arachne. At least that’s how people view you. And the Arachne view you as the great mother.”

“I am the great mother,” Sthilinna said while scowling at him. “My children will someday rule this entire world.”

“Great for your children,” Frost said. “Not great for all other demihumans or humans. So, I propose that we go through a little bit of a branding shift. I’m going to be approving some temples in my territory soon and for your temple how does Sthilinna, goddess of fertility sound?”

“What?” the giant Arachne gave him a puzzled look. “What are you talking about?”

“The Arachne Queens in my village want a temple,” Frost said. “And given my dealings with all of you I’m going to need to allow for several more temples. If you want to be the goddess of the Arachne, that’s not going to get humans or other demihumans in your temple. But if you’re offering healthy babies, well, I imagine you’ll attract some followers.”

“Hmm,” Sthilinna stared at him. “You are offering a temple in exchange for forgiving these fools.”
