“No,” Frost said with a self-satisfied smirk. “I’m offering you a temple in exchange for joining these fools.”
“What?” Shalia yelled.
“What did you just say?” Riliandra shouted.
“Are you crazy?” Niri yelled. “She’s the god eater!”
“Twi! Yes!”
“So, I heard one yes vote,” Frost said.
“That doesn’t count, she doesn’t know the word no!” Ziralia snapped.
“Hmm,” Sthilinna tapped her finger against her chin and slowly shrunk down to the size of a normal Arachne. The enormous Arachne stared at the darkness above her. “What do you think?”
“I think he has a point,” a crimson Arachne slowly slid down a long silk thread. Unlike the Arachne in the village her body was surprisingly lean and her general size was much smaller. Her naked breasts were on full display since her hair was only shoulder length. “Many of the creatures in Naran find us frightening and call you the world eater. Some even think you are a devil. If instead we highlighted the gift of motherhood that you bless us with, we may be able to gain more followers and increase your power.”
“We also find it difficult to increase our followers on Naran,” another red Arachne said as she dropped down onto the platform. This one had a dark tan and short boyish hair but extraordinarily large breasts. “All followers will increase your strength my goddess.”
“Herald Frost, meet Prophet Quella and Herald Lithisi,” Sthilinna said while gesturing at the large chested one and small chested one respectively.
“Herald Frost,” the women said simultaneously while nodding their heads.
“Prophet Quella, Herald Lithisi,” Frost said, returning the gesture.
“Great,” Cassia said while crossing her arms. “More deceivers.”
“Very well, Herald Frost, I will join your group,” Sthilinna said as the webs holding the other goddesses faded away. The stars rapidly reappeared in the sky and the colorful crystalline trees sprouted all around them, growing to the height of the platform. “Now, who is in charge?”
“Twi! Yes!” Twi shouted while spinning around happily.
“Very ambitious,” Sthilinna said. “But maybe you should wait a few centuries first.”
“Shalia is in charge,” Cassia said as she stomped toward the table with Amaya in her arms. “She summoned Herald Frost to this world and she loves everybody!”
“Well,” Sthilinna shrugged. “My followers reside in her territory so I am fine if she has the final say in matters on that continent. But what about the other continents?”
“What do you mean by other continents?” Riliandra asked nervously. “Like on Naran?”
“No,” Sthilinna said. “Naran is my continent and will always be mine. I am asking about our plan to conquer the other continents. That is the goal, correct? Form an alliance, conquer the world, gain all of the followers for ourselves.”
“We haven’t really thought that far ahead,” Ziralia said nervously.
“Hm,” Sthilinna looked around. “How far have you thought?”
They all sat around silently as they avoided the Arachne’s gaze.
“I see,” Sthilinna said while stroking Twi’s head. “That is fine for now. We will begin with the temples.”
“Right,” Frost groaned. “This is really turning into a big thing, isn’t it?”
“It was your idea Sebastian!” Shalia said as she nervously took a seat next to Sthilinna.
“Maybe I should have just let you all get eaten,” Frost said. “Oh well. Cassia, explain to me everything that happened in the morning and we’ll try to figure something out.”
“Fine,” Cassia said while glaring at all of the other deities.
“What just happened?” Luciana asked while looking at Niri for an answer.
“I have no idea but it seems like it’ll be profitable,” Niri said, smacking Luciana’s ass approvingly. “Good girl.”
“Niri!” Luciana blushed.
“I suppose it would be nice to have Sthilinna on our side,” Ziralia mumbled.
“Okay then,” Frost nodded as the world around him started to melt. “Oh, again.”
“I suppose our time is up,” Xavier said as he faded into oblivion with Ziralia.
“We should do this again Herald Frost,” Luciana laughed as the world slowly vanished.
“Twi! Yes! Twi! Dance!” the colorful harpy said as she twirled around in front of him, leaving sparkly dust as she spun until she faded away with the others.
Frost’s memory slowly faded away as he opened his eyes and looked at the beautiful women beside him. He briefly thought about the monumental amount of work he had to do and smiled as he cuddled up close to his beautiful wife and closed his eyes.
The gods and goddesses of Nivara would just have to wait because his wives came first.
