What My Eyes Can't See Page 6

“Speak for yourself, bitch. I am the definition of perfect. Google it!”

“I am so done with you right now. Call me back later. Ya need to be calling Sacaria to give her the heads up. Shay prolly put Todd up to that shit.”

“I’m not telling her nothing. What the fuck has she done for me? She’s been acting funny as hell for a minute now. I know she thinks that her used Benz is better than my brand new 740i. I had a Benz like that in high school. She aint doing nothing.”

  “Bye Erica!”

  Todd

I think it's time for me to give my nigga a call, so that we can sit down and have a serious talk about his newfound wife. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind taking back seat for some temporary pussy, but this shit is getting ridiculous. I certainly don’t mind be the front-runner for this empire either though.

Not that Shayvon really needed the money, but we are boys and this is our bond. We are about that life, and I don't understand what could be so good about one female, that would make him damn near divorce the game to marry her ass.

From the start, Shayvon was more of an athletic type and not too much into the game, but deep down, it was always in him. No matter what, matter he always kept it player though. I never thought I would see the day when Shayvon gave two fucks about any female, besides his mom. To be honest, he probably really only gave one fuck about her too though. I see niggas flip the script all the time to chase some pussy, but not Shay. Shay was always the one that all the females chased. I have watched females come to blows over his ass. He hadn’t even given ‘em the dick and they were out there scrapping like cats and dogs. You would never know it today though.

I ain’t riding his dick about it though. That’s my boy and I ain’t scared to give him props, but Shay been player of the year for a minute now. Q’Mari and I pull our fair share of bad bitches too, but there is has been many nights that Shay came through with pussy for us all. I gotta love ‘em for that. As niggas got grown though, that shit ended up changing. I came to find out that I can’t stand them pretty stuck up bitches that Shay be fucking with. Always asking for shit and digging in a nigga pockets. Give me a ratchet, ugly bitch that don’t have a problem taking me out to eat, or buying me an outfit. It’s not that I needed them to take care of me; it was just the point of it all. I might fuck with some cute ones too, but the minute they jump on that high horse as if I need ‘em, I’m gone.

  Shayvon

“What up, Todd.” I said into the phone.

“What up wit it nigga?” Todd asked with enthusiasm.

“Where da fuck yo’ ass been? I been calling yo’ ass all damn day, witcha cheery ass,” I said with irritation. “Da fuck you so damn happy about?”

“Damn nigga, don’t worry about where da fuck I been. I wasn’t with your bitch, so stop tripping,” Todd said, laughing and skipping over my question at the same time.

“Hey! Watch your motherfuckin’ mouth, nigga!”

“Quit being so gotdamn sensitive,” Todd said, and smacked his lips. “Anyway, stop bullshitting and meet me at the Mark in about thirty minutes. I got some business to discuss witcha.”

That is Todd for you. Call you barking out orders like a pit bull, and then hang up in your face, without even waiting for a response. Thirty minutes later, I pull up a seat across from Todd at Mark the Spot, which was this little strip club we sometimes used to discuss business. It’s out of town and out of the way, which made it a perfect location to talk without running into any local people. One of the homies nicknamed it the Mark, because most of the clientele had been labeled as marks. Word got out and ever since then, everybody been calling it the Mark. Lately, we haven’t been using the Mark, because the dancers were too ratchet for my taste, and too much attention was coming our way. I can’t be around it. Ultimately, we decided to use it as a place to meet only on rare occasions. I guess this was one of them, because I try to avoid that joint as much as possible, but Todd and Q’Mari love ratchet bitches. Ultimately, Todd and Q’ decided to keep their visits limited to business as well, just keep the employees from getting used to seeing their faces. To be honest, the bitches are some of the baddest I have seen, but they are super ratchet. So despite all of my efforts to take Todd seriously, I could hardly get his attention long enough distract him from Flawless P, his favorite stripper in that joint.

  “So what up, my nigga?”

Todd waved his finger in the air, signaling to this little shorty who I assumed was the server. When she approached us, he told her to bring us two double shots of Hennessy. Not one time did Todd break take his eyes off Flawless P, as she spun around on the pole and slid down it real slow.

“So how's the married life treating you, boy?” Todd asked as he dapped my hand. “You’ve been on lockdown, ya’ mean. I thought I was going to have to write you and put money on your books. This must be visiting hours. That bi—” Todd caught himself, while clearing his throat. “Sacaria got you on lock,” Todd said. Then he gulped down this drink and stuffed a bill in the server’s bikini top.

“That’s wifey and why do I gotta keep telling you to watch yo’ fuckin’ mouth when you’re talking about her? Don't nobody have me on lockdown. I'm just bored with the streets; feel me, bruh? It's more to life than this,” I said, throwing my hand up at the ghetto surroundings.

“Hell nah, I don’t feel you. You always have been a bougie acting ass.” Todd lowered his voice and shook his head. “Always gotta leave with the "classy" female. I meant to ask you if those bitches use a tablecloth and a napkin when they are sucking your dick,” Todd laughed.

“Is this what you wanted to talk about? Gay ass...”

“On some real shit my nigga, I don't trust your ‘wifey’.” Todd pulled out a bunt and lit it. “We both know that trust is earned, my nigga. Has she earned your trust? Ya’ mean; I wouldn't have anything to say, if it wasn't for what messy ass niggas is telling me. I feel like everything we built is on the line.”

“You are on some real fuck shit right now, Todd,” I said, giving him the meanest mug I had. He was sitting here talking about Sacaria, as if she was some bitch off the street and I felt more than disrespected by it. I stood up to leave.

“Hold up, how long have we known each other, Shay? We ain’t never questioned each other’s motives or choices. What is it about her that is making you doubt me right now? This shit is really about to piss me off.”

Hesitantly, I sat back down. “I don't doubt you, but I do think that you need to stop listening to everything you hear. We all have to grow up one day. We can't be puttin’ that life above all else forever. I think you just haven't reached that point, and you don't understand where I'm at in life.” Todd signaled to the server, who came to his aid much faster this time. This time he only ordered for himself.

“You’re right about that, because I don’t understand. You need to get out of yo’ muthafuckin’ feelings and listen to what I am saying to you. You are acting real motherfuckin’ sprung right now. That must be Sacaria gassing you up, because you don’t talk like that. Damn, is the pussy that good?”

“This is not about Sacaria—” I said as Todd cut me off.

“Yes it is, and you need to wake up the fuck up and check into who she really is. Who da fuck is that girl, and where is she from? Who are her people? Davona? Nigga please. These the same questions we have always asked about anybody we dealt with, ya’ mean.” What about the fact that the only homegirls she has are brand new? Do you mean to tell me, that she don’t have not one A-1, day one in her life. Something is wrong with that situation, nigga! You know what?” Todd sat back in his chair. “It's good and you know I’m your goon for life; I just hope this girl don't make me do something that you will regret,” Todd said, with a look that sent a chill down my back.

  “You trippin—”

“Wait, hold up. Who is this nigga that been looking in our mouth the whole time we been sitting here?” Todd got up from the table as he was talking. “Hey blood! Do you know someb
ody over here? What the fuck you all in my mouth for?” Todd asked with menace in his tone.

“Nah man, I wasn’t looking in your mouth.”

“Oh, so now I’m making up shit? Every time I look up, you looking at that table. Who da fuck you wit, blood?”

The dude stood up from his chair. “Look, I’m just chilling, enjoying myself with the ladies—” The dude hit the floor with a loud thud. Todd knocked his ass out mid-sentence.

“Get this muthafucka outta here!” Todd hollered.

I gulped down the last of my drink, took a hit off Todd’s blunt and cut out.

  Chapter 8

I walked into the house to the smell of good food. “Sacaria; bae is that you, ma?” I crept around the corner, looking from side to side, to make sure it wasn’t Taleena in here on some fatal attraction bs.

“Sacaria!” I yelled when I didn’t see anybody manning the station.

“Yes baby, and why are you yelling?” Sacaria came scooting around the corner, wearing one of my t-shirts.

  “You cooked?” I inquired.

“Yes, I cooked. I wanted to cook something for my man,” Sacaria said, as she went up on her tippy toes and pecked me on the lips. “I want to show you how much I love you.”

“Or hate me,” I said, laughing. “Baby, you never cook.” I wrapped my arms around her waist. “I was only gone for a few hours and you are already trying to poison me?”

“Oh, you got jokes. No, I called your mom and she walked me through it.” Sacaria stirred the mashed potatoes. “I’m cooking some garlic mashed potatoes, steak with blue cheese butter, and asparagus, with some peach cobbler on the side for dessert.”

“You know it won't be as good as my moms though. I can tell you that right now,” I said, with a chuckle.

Sacaria stood there pouting, with her arms folded. “I'm playing baby, you know that I love you,” I said, and then I kissed her lips softly.

My baby has been in here slaving over the stove all day. I have a good girl. Shit, nobody is perfect. I don't understand why my boys can't see that I have a good thing. Sacaria served me a plate. I couldn't wait for her to sit down, before I took a bite of the food. She was chewing to one side as she always did when she had an attitude.

“Oh, so you wasn’t going to wait for me?”

“My bad baby, it just smells so good, I just had to taste it. I am starving. Todd had me on some Hennessy and you know alcohol makes me hungry.” I peeked up from my plate and noticed Sacaria giving me a disapproving look.

“Where was y’all at, one of those trifling strip clubs?”

“Yeah, but you know I don't give those thots the time of day.”

“Um… hmm,” Sacaria replied, as she rolled her eyes at me and took a bite of food.

“You know you're the only one for me,” I replied.

  “I better be.”

“So, what's up with Erica and Taniyah these days? You haven't mentioned either one of them in a while.” Sacaria had been home a lot lately and concentrating on her studies and me. Truthfully, I hadn't been studying much. I am taking some business classes and so far, they have not taught me much that I did not already know. Therefore, I focused on helping Sacaria decide on her major. My grades are great, but she seems to be struggling a bit. I do not want her to lose focus and start partying again. Speaking about partying, Todd was right about one thing. I didn't know Erica and Taniyah. I realized that I did need to keep an eye on those bitches, no matter how cool Sacaria thought they were.

“Wow! That was random, but they are cool I guess. I have not talked to them much, because my classes have been kicking my butt. I was thinking about asking Taniyah to tutor me though. She is on Dean's Honor List right now. You would never know by looking at her, but that girl is smart. I think she used to go to private school or something”

“Yeah, yeah, but what do you mean, ‘they are cool I guess’. Those are your girls, yet you don’t know what is up with them? I mean they seem like cool bitches… are they?”

  “Shayvon!” Sacaria snapped.

  “What?”

“They are not bitches; they are my friends and of course they are cool, or else I wouldn't be hanging with them, baby. I don’t keep tabs on my friends, Shay. Wait… why are you so concerned about them? Todd and Q’Mari have been in your ear again, huh?”

“Nah, I was just being interested in you, bae. Is that wrong? I can't be interested in my bae?”

“Yes you can, and that's one of the reasons why I love you,” Sacaria said, while pulling my down my sweats and dropping to her knees. Damn bae, I was trying to eat.

  Sacaria

I was not really in the mood to be giving Shayvon some head at that moment, but if it meant getting Erica and Taniyah’s off his mind, then that is what I had to do. Shayvon could never resist my sex, so I used that to my advantage every chance I had. Sometimes I just needed to distract him from worrying about, or getting into my private business. I am a good girl that loves him and I will always be by his side. That is all there is to it and he did not need to be concerned about anything else.

Speaking of Erica and Taniyah, I better text them or something, before they get crazy. I do miss those crazy bitches. No sooner than I thought to text, then Taniyah FaceTimed me.

“We miss you, girl. I get that school is kicking your ass, but bring your man and come chill. Erica and I are throwing a kick back. Come and let that pretty hair down.”

  “Cool, when and where?”

“Erica’s uncle’s house near the beach. Never mind, you probably don't remember it. I will text you the address.”

  “We will be there.”

  Shayvon

We arrived at Erica’s uncle’s house finally, after getting lost; even with the navi directing us, we’d gotten lost. There were nice cars everywhere. I wasn’t sure about going at first, but when I spotted the cars parked out front, I thought it might turn out quite nice. Erica even had the nerve to have some dudes outside valet parking cars. There was no way one of those fools was parking my car for me. I kindly asked them to point out a parking spot and parked my own whip, please and thank you. When we got to the door that was already partially open, Sacaria peeped her head through the opening, and then lifted her hand to ring the doorbell. Before she could ring the bell, Erica snatched the door all the way open.

“Hey girl! I’m glad that you guys could make it,” she said, as she gave us both small hugs.

“Thanks for the invite,” Sacaria replied.

“Nice place your uncle has here. What does that brother do for a living?” I asked as I took in the scenery.

“He’s a financial advisor,” Erica replied in a snotty tone, as if to say that I was being nosy. “Come on in and make yourselves at home. There are drinks and food in the kitchen, and outside near the pool. Please remove your shoes. Uncle would kill me if I let you guys wear shoes in his house.”

Taniyah came running towards us when she heard us at the door.

“Hey boo! I didn’t think you was coming. You been acting funny and shit,” Taniyah said, and then started hugging Sacaria.

As Sacaria was hugging and catching up Erica and Taniyah, I slowly crept away and headed towards the drinks. There were all sorts of people at the party; not just a few D-boys, but everybody from nerds, white boys, to some little Chinese executive-looking dude. I didn't mind though, because with my background, I am used to being around every creed and color. I thought the melting pot made for an interesting night. Not to mention, the big titty, blonde-haired woman that kept eying me from across the room. If Sacaria saw that, she would flip. I did my best to stay as far away from that woman as possible. I just needed to find a place to sit back and observe.

Hey bae, are you enjoying yourself?” Sacaria asked.

“We just got here, but it's cool,” I responded.

It was nice to be a part of the festivities for once. Sacaria had been partying without me for a while. Now I can get a chance to see what Erica and Taniyah are really
about without Todd and Q’Mari goofy asses getting in the way.

  "I'll be back," said Sacaria.

Erica grabbed Sacaria’s hand, dragged her over near the entertainment area, and turned up the volume to Usher’s song, “I Don’t Mind”. They started dancing and holding their drinks in the air. It sure was nice to see Sacaria having a good time with her friends. Her smile made me smile. Rather than sit there like a hall monitor, I decided to check out the rest of the party. I walked outside and sat near the fire, when Taniyah approached me with a drink.

“I noticed your drink getting low, so I brought you another one,” said Taniyah.

  “Thank you,” I replied.

Taniyah handed me some brown liquor, which had the taste and appearance of Rémy and passed me a blunt. I choked off the blunt real fast and took a sip of my drink. “This is a nice ass view,” I said, while blowing out the rest of the smoke. “Rather reminds me of the view from my house.” After I hit the blunt again and knocked back the rest of my drink, I started to feel some type of way.

Taniyah led me to the bar and poured me another. I knocked that back too. It was as if time was standing still, but it had passed and fast. I didn’t even know what song was playing. Everything was running together on me. I remember asking where Sacaria was several times, before Taniyah finally said that Sacaria had gone to lay down. I was feeling somewhat weird myself, so I asked her to take me to where Sacaria was, and I laid next to her.

I tried to open my eyes, but they were so heavy—my body felt good though. I could feel Sacaria riding me. I guess she was feeling better, because she was going crazy. The room was so dark; there was nothing but silhouettes and the scent of Sacaria’s perfume. This was like the best sex we ever had. It felt like I came, but my dick was still hard and she was still riding me like crazy, and kissing me in the mouth. All I could do was lay there at first, but then I was able to flip her over. I started digging all in her. She was not loud as usual, but I could hear her moaning on the low key. Maybe she was still not feeling so good, or didn’t want her friends to hear us. Either way, I couldn’t tell that by the way she was sexing me. I wasn't wearing a condom and I know I was about to cum inside of her. It felt so good that my pullout game got weak as fuck. She was wetter and tighter than she had ever been before, and I think we had sex all night long.
