by Lior Samson
As always, I am indebted to a cadre of manuscript readers who serve as subject-matter experts to double-check the technical content as well as critical reviewers to provide broad feedback and advice. Scientist and world traveler Richard Horobin gave the manuscript an early critical read-through. Yair Alan Griver, entrepreneur and consummate computer specialist, caught a number of gaffs and made sure I got the software specifics right. Attorney Phil Samson (no relation) provided generous guidance and legal-eyed review. And Maxine Rosenberg stepped up to the plate to give her perspective as an enthusiastic and critical Lior Samson reader.
Once again, Lucy Lockwood, my muse and partner, took time out from her pursuit of marine biology in the intertidal zone to talk over ideas and offer helpful commentary on early versions of the manuscript. The final pass was completed by my loyal, longsuffering, and utterly amazing copyeditor, Janet Lemnah, who has turned her well-trained eye to the task of helping me get the finest details right.
Thank you all.
