SEAL of Approval Page 40

“What do you mean?” Matthew said with a tone of rage in his voice. “I said to flirt with him. Not fuck him.”

I wasn’t in the mood to argue with Matthew and I thought I had probably teased him enough. He was angry and I didn’t like seeing that. As much fun as it was to tease him, I couldn’t purposely hurt him.

“Matthew, the naked form is something beautiful. Don’t worry. He didn’t get to play with the merchandise. Just a quick show to keep him interested,” I said as I started toward the door.

“He’s going to want to fuck you now.”

“How do you know that? He seems faithfully devoted to his wife,” I lied.

I knew damn well that George Masson would willingly fuck me at any time if I was to give the go ahead. But I certainly didn’t think that Matthew needed to know that information.

  “He’s a man. That’s how I know.”

“Not all men are total scumbags,” I said as I opened the door.

“Fine, I’ll finish the project. You don’t have to yell at me!” I screamed as I stomped back to my desk.

Everyone in the office looked up at me and then over at Matthew who stood in the doorway. I couldn’t help but turn back toward him and smile.

It was his idea to have everyone think he was a jerk, I was just helping to make his idea come true. I was going to make sure that none of our interactions were construed as sexual in nature at all.

Matthew slammed his office door and I saw Steven come over toward me.

“I’m fine, I don’t want to talk about it,” I said as I pretended to be upset.

Steven took the hint and went back to his desk. I went back to work and actually finished the project I had been working on. I needed to be a useful member of the office so I was making sure I did more than my fair share of work each day. By the end of the day I tried to leave later than most people but not as late as the last person in the office. There was a fine line between working hard and sucking up and I needed to follow that line as closely as possible.

“Can you convince Masson to run for house speaker and to get Edwards onto the Arms Committee?” The text from Matthew said just after I left the office.

“I’m not sure. Do you want me to try?”

“I think we should talk about it first. I’ll meet you at your place,” Matthew responded.

“No. I can come to you. Don’t come to my house.”

  “Matthew.”

  “Matthew.”

He didn’t respond back to me. I was certain he was already sitting in front of my house with Raymond when I finally got off of the subway and drove home. I cringed when I was right and saw his SUV parked in the street.

I knocked on the window and Raymond rolled it down. I looked in the back seat, but Matthew wasn’t there. I looked around and then up at my apartment, which had all the lights on.

  “Where is he?” I asked.

“He’s in your apartment,” Raymond said as he pointed up there.

“Fuck,” I said as I turned to walk into my building. “He just thinks he can do whatever he wants to do.”

“He pretty much does,” Raymond hollered after me as I stormed into my building.

My apartment was a shit hole and the last thing I wanted was for Matthew to be inside there. He didn’t need to come over. His place was very nice and we should have just met up there. But Matthew seemed to do whatever he wanted to do whenever he wanted to do it.

“You can’t just break into people’s apartments whenever you want.”

“I didn’t break in. I had your sweet super let me in.”

“Matthew, why couldn’t we just meet at your house?”

“You live here? I don’t understand why you are alright with this?”

“Not everyone has the money to live in a mansion or a fancy penthouse. I like my apartment just fine. Now do you want me to cook something for you or should we go out?”

“First, business talk. I need to get Masson to run for house speaker and Edwards onto the Senate Arms Committee. How are we going to make that happen?”

I took off my work clothes slowly as we talked. I knew it was distracting. Matthew and I reveled in every moment of it. I loved the way he looked at me when we were alone. His eyes lusted after me with an intensity I hadn’t seen before in a man.

“You should work on Edwards. Get him prepared to work the committee. I assume you know what you want from him once he’s on the committee?”

  “Of course.”

“Alight. Then I can work with Masson on the rest.”

I was just about to pull my sweats on when Matthew grabbed my wrist and stopped me.

  “No. No clothes.”

  “It’s cold in here Matthew.”

  “Let me look at you.”

I stood still in front of Matthew and watched his eyes as they looked me over from my toes all the way up to my eyes. He devoured every inch of me and seemed to really enjoy it. Matthew was caught up in his own world as he gazed at my body, nothing else in the world seemed to matter to him at that moment.

  “Can I get dressed now?”

  “Turn around.”

  I did as he asked.

“Matthew, you already know what I look like naked. I’m putting my clothes back on,” I said as I reached down for my pants.

Matthew grabbed me and threw me down onto the bed. My mattress was on the floor without any box spring so it was a long way to fall as he pushed me. I flipped over and looked up at him as he continued to stare at me. Slowly he took off his suit and placed each item on the chair next to my bed.

“Do you think you can convince Masson?”

  “Yes.”

“How will you do it? Are you going to fuck him?”

“I don’t think I’ll have to. I think I can tease him into doing just about anything.”

“Don’t fuck him. Alright?” Matthew said as he climbing onto my bed.

For a brief moment, I wanted to tease him about being jealous, but I could see in his eyes that he really did not want me to fuck anyone else. That was a good thing, I liked that he wanted to keep me for himself. I wasn’t sure I was going to be able to get Masson to do what we needed him to do without fucking him, but I certainly wouldn’t tell Matthew what I had to do.

“I’m going to fuck you now,” I whispered and pulled Matthew’s lips to mine.

Matthew didn’t waste any time. He picked me up and flipped me over so I was on top of him. His hands held onto my waist as I slowly slid over his bulging cock. I felt him fill me up and I moaned with delight as I moved on top of him.

“Tomorrow. We need to go have lunch with Masson or at least you do,” Matthew said.

“Can we talk about this later?” I whispered as I pressed my hands onto his peck muscles.

As he grabbed my ass and moved me back and forth on his cock, I thought I was going to pass out the pleasure was so intense. My whole body shook quickly and I felt the pleasure inside of me.

“Is that a yes?” Matthew asked slightly out of breath.

“Fine, yes, yes, yes…” I screamed out as I moved my hips harder against him.

I thrust my clit up against his body in an attempt to finally get to the climax that I wanted. Matthew held onto me and thrust one hard, deep thrust as his body let go of every last bit of stress he had inside of him.

I was starting to feel really damn comfortable with Matthew. It made me a little nervous. Things between us weren’t exactly like a typical relationship and I still felt like I could be disposed of at any moment.

When I collapsed next to Matthew there was a brief moment when I wondered if he and I could have an actual future together. I knew there were glimpses of that in his eye sometimes, and I wasn’t really sure it was what I wanted. But I had to wonder if it was ever going to be in our future. Was he ever going to want to go to dinner or just see a movie like a regular couple?

My memory of our first night together was still so fresh. He was sweet and kind. Not nearly the asshole he had turne
d out to be. And I mean asshole in the kindest of ways. I knew he was trying to climb his way up in Washington, but I just wanted that Matthew back that I met on our first night in Chicago. That Matthew was the man of my dreams.

“Call me tomorrow after you’ve talked to George Masson, I’d like to know how things went,” Matthew said as he stood up and started to get dressed.

I tried to hide my disappointment, but I just couldn’t. It must have shone through brightly on my face because Matthew leaned down and kissed me sweetly.

  “Alright,” I said.

“Good, I’ll work on Senator Edwards and we can touch base later this week. I’m traveling for the next couple of days, but I’ll be available via text.”

I just lay there and watched Matthew as he finished getting dressed and prepared to leave. It felt oddly like he had only come over to get me to do his bidding with Senator Masson. It felt like he had totally used me.

“Come say goodbye,” Matthew ordered as he grabbed my hand and pulled me off the bed.

  “Goodbye,” I said curtly.

“You’re a beautiful girl Kayla. I think we will be able to go far together,” Matthew said as he kissed me one last time before leaving.

There was so much I wanted to say in response to him. So many things that did not sit well with me. How dare he try to play me like that? Yes, I was young and I wanted to move up in Washington. But I wasn’t anyone’s errand bitch and Matthew needed to know that sooner rather than later.

Oh, I was going to meet with Senator Masson. But I had my own agenda of what needed to be covered and it might not include the same things as what Matthew wanted.

I stood naked at the window and smiled at Matthew as he drove away. He certainly didn’t know at all what I was capable of.

  Matthew

Kayla had a power over me like no other woman I had met, but I certainly wasn’t going to let her know that. I couldn’t turn soft. My focus needed to stay singular and that was on the White House. As much as I liked and lusted after Kayla, I just couldn’t let myself get wrapped up in that. I needed to stay distant.

A few days back in Illinois was just what I needed to get Kayla off of my minds. I was going to focus on my constituents and work with some local donors on some upcoming events. To stay focused was going to be hard, though. Every time I closed my eyes I felt Kayla’s skin under the tips of my fingers. Her soft, delicate skin against my body was something I just couldn’t forget.

I could feel my body as it thrust inside of her and clearly remembered her moans. Kayla was a beautiful woman and I was a lucky bastard to have gotten to fuck her as much as I had. But I wasn’t the guy for her. She wanted the happily ever after, I could see it in her eyes. That just wasn’t something I could offer her. I didn’t want to disappoint Kayla, but I knew what we both wanted from each other was not the same thing.

I had to leave her quickly. Being with her in her apartment made me feel comfortable. For a moment, I wanted to pull her up next to me and spend the night there cuddling. But I knew better than to do that. In Washington, you were always being watched. If word got out that I was fucking one of my first-year employees that would be bad for business.

Not to mention I didn’t want Kayla to start having feelings for me. She and I could work together and build our careers together, but we didn’t need to fall in love or any of that girl stuff. Kayla would just need to understand that I couldn’t have that in my life at the moment. I needed to concentrate on the real job that was in front of me. I needed to get my ass into the White House.

As I boarded my flight back to Illinois, I couldn’t help but remember the first night I met Kayla. Our time together that night was so uninhibited. No expectations, no rules; why couldn’t it always be like that.

I would kill to go back to that night and have that level of intimacy. She had been so raw, so open to anything. Now the realities of life had gotten in both of our way and neither of us seemed the same. I had to take responsibility for some of the changes, but there was something different about Kayla as well. She was more independent, more of a woman than she had been while we were in Chicago.

But women didn’t work the same way as men. They find a guy they like and latch onto him. She would surely want more of my attention at work, want to come to my house or have me come to her house. I just couldn’t let things get out of control. Taking some time away from Kayla was just what I needed.

On the other hand, I couldn’t stay away from her for long. I needed to keep our thing going between us. She was the key for me getting on the good side of Senator Masson and I wasn’t about to forget the gift she had with that man. Plus, I needed to be with her. I knew I could survive for a couple of days away, but it was surely going to leave me wanting her even more when I finally returned to Washington at the end of the week.

“Alex, make sure we get a meeting with Senator Edwards when I return. I don’t want to lose the momentum I have going with him.”

“Sure thing,” Alex said from his bed.

I could always tell when he hadn’t bothered to get up and go to work. It was pretty typical when I traveled, but I didn’t really mind. We all worked too damn hard, he deserved to have a little bit of a break.

“Can you do something else for me?”

There was a long pause as Alex thought about the question. When I asked him to do things for me, it wasn’t always that easy of a task to get completed.

  “Sure, what’s up?”

“I need to find a small apartment downtown for a friend of mine. Preferably close to the capital. Just one bedroom. Nothing too fancy. Can you see what’s around?”

  “Who’s the friend?”

I could hear the concern in Alex’s voice. The last thing he wanted was some sort of controversy surrounding me. But I wasn’t going to tell him it was for Kayla. I knew better than that. What he didn’t know was exactly where he needed to be, then he could actually deny knowing what was going on without having to lie.

“It’s just a friend of the family, nothing big. Thanks.”

  “Sure.”

As we hung up, I felt the watchful concern of Alex. I thought I had thrown him off about Kayla when I yelled at her at the office. But maybe he thought I had some other young lady on the side.

The problem with all the controversy was that I was indeed a single man. The public couldn’t expect that I would stay single forever. They had to know that I had needs and I was going to be with women. It was a balance between being seen with snobby upper-class socialite types or not being seen at all. My problem was I didn’t care for snobs and I certainly couldn’t be seen dating a young thing like Kayla, who worked for me.

For the time being, I would need to stay single and any interactions between Kayla and I would have to be hidden in the privacy of our own bedrooms. Publicly she would simply be my employee, in the bedroom we could be anything we wanted to each other.

As I sat on the plane waiting for it to take off, my eyes closed and I remembered the beautiful curves of Kayla’s body as she stood nude in front of me at her apartment. My body reacted to the memory of her.

Kayla had a body that any man would love; voluptuous breasts with a curvy ass. Her auburn hair was a little past her shoulders and she had freckles that accentuated her face. My memory of every aspect of Kayla was something that I knew I should not have, especially if I ever wanted to be able to give her up. Unfortunately, I just couldn’t forget Kayla. My body couldn’t live without her and I knew I was going to be in f
or a giant disaster if I wasn’t able to control myself better.

Thinking of Kayla had my cock hard and I had to cover myself with a magazine as another person sat next to me on the plane. Even with all the best intentions in the world to forget about Kayla, I wasn’t sure my body would ever fully be willing to give her up.

When I was near her, everything seemed perfect. I hated that we had met so early in her Washington career. If it had been just a few years down the road it would have been better. But it was too late for all that talk. We had met. We did have a relationship, and I was going to make damn sure she stayed in my life. She was going to help me get to the Whitehouse, I just knew it.

  Kayla

There was a feeling of dirtiness when I woke up the next day after having Matthew over to my house. Something about our relationship had turned from sexy to salty and I didn’t exactly know how it had happened. He wanted me, I could tell that. He lusted for me, which was visible in all of our interactions. But I felt like watching me interact with the other men at the party had been too much for him. Instead of seeing me as a woman he wanted to be with, Matthew seemed to see me as a woman he could use.

I might have been naive when I first arrived in Washington D.C., but I wasn’t anymore. I knew how the city worked and there was no way I was going to let Matthew use me for his own gain and then thrown me away. Senator Storm had something coming to him if he thought I was expendable.

As I rolled out of bed, I knew exactly what I needed to do. I wasn’t expendable. I had more value to Matthew than he could even imagine.

“Marge, it was so nice seeing you at the party,” I said as I called Senator Masson’s office.

“You too dear. What can I help you with?”

“I just wanted to apologize to Senator Masson and his wife for my mess at the party. How should I send him my apology? You’ve been around and know the ropes, I need your help.”

“Oh dear, don’t worry about it. Accidents happen. But if you’d like to find Senator Masson and tell him yourself, he is at the tennis club this morning. It’s over on Dodge Street.”

“I guess it is the least I could do after ruining his party. Thanks so much Marge. You and I should have lunch together sometime. I’d love to pick your brain on all these men we work with.”
