Then they saw white flashes of light several feet away from them. The crew followed Fred closely in the direction of the light.

“We are following Fred through the secret room of the castle d’Orvilly,” said the host, Philippe, looking at the camera and whispering. “We just found this room. It’s true, it does exist. I can tell you the arrow on my ghost meter is moving like crazy. I’ve never seen this before. What about you, Cat?”

Cat turned to the camera. “My thermal camera is detecting a shape ahead of us, as you can see on my screen.” She showed the little screen to the camera. There was a red spot in the middle. “It means there’s a presence a few feet away from us,” she whispered. “Let’s go and see what it is… or who it is.”

The flickering, white light floated in the air. As they walked closer, it became bigger. Then they stopped when they realized what was coming their way.

“This… This is incredible,” said Philippe. “I hope you got that, man,” he said to the cameraman.

  “You bet!” Answered the cameraman.

The white light slowly formed into a human shape. They kept walking toward it, in silence. Fred’s felt his heart racing.

The shape stopped about ten feet away from them. Although it was translucent, they could see it clearly now.

Amanda put back her Religieuse au chocolat on the coffee table and put her hand on Pierre’s. “Pierre. Are you seeing what I’m seeing?” asked Amanda slowly.

“Yep. I’m seeing what you’re seeing, Amanda. Well, I think we’re seeing the same thing.”

The translucent ghost walked toward the camera. It was a woman with a white gown and long blonde hair. Black tears dripped all down her face. She held a wedding veil in her hands, rolled into a ball, that she pressed tight against her chest.

She was crying in despair and kept pleading “Help me, please! Help me!”
